    A cozy Hotel where you can enjoy an extraordinary getaway without ever getting bored.

    I’m a repeat guest who visits whenever the dining menu changes, and no matter how many times I stay, this Hotel always feels special—comfortable, never boring, and a perfect escape from everyday life. This time, just before the menu changed, I had the FIJI course at OYAMA. Every dish was outstanding: six beautifully crafted courses made with carefully selected ingredients and skillful techniques, plus dessert—all delicious. As always, the staff’s timing and attentive yet natural service made the meal truly enjoyable.

    Lack of Service

    I emailed the hotel to confirm my booking and ask about reserving the facilities I wanted. However, the staff only replied with links and asked me to complete the reservation myself. They also did not inform guests in advance how to enter Fuji Speedway without paying an entrance fee. Despite requesting assistance before arrival, I did not receive any helpful support.

    I keep coming back again and again.

    The friendly Hotel staff’s attentive service and warm smiles, along with their heartfelt hospitality, are always outstanding. Each seasonal dish made with local ingredients is delicately prepared, and you can truly feel the chef’s dedication and passion in every delicious bite. The impeccably clean facilities and guest rooms—spotless down to the smallest details—make this an exceptionally comfortable Hotel where you can fully enjoy a luxurious escape from everyday life, so I keep coming back again and again.

    We stayed with my pa...

    We stayed with my parents (a couple) and our children—six of us in two Rooms. The Facility was new and very clean, and the thorough cleaning made our stay comfortable. The circuit-side Room got a lot of morning sun and became quite hot early in the day. The air-conditioning settings were not very detailed, so it was hard to adjust. The view from the Mt. Fuji side was amazing. My parents were also very satisfied. Thank you very much.

    An exceptionally spacious Room with an open feel

    This time I stayed in the Deluxe Corner View, and because it’s a corner room with many windows, it felt wonderfully open and was excellent. As always, the toilet and bathroom were impeccably cleaned, and everything felt extremely fresh and spotless. It’s truly pleasant when the basics are properly taken care of as they should be. If I had to mention one minor issue, the TV remote response wasn’t great. Still, I definitely want to stay here again.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    I chose this Hotel for an overnight stay on the way back from a Ryokan in Fukui because I’m interested in museums, Hotels, and speedways. The race car displays are gorgeous—shining brilliantly in a bright atrium space. The gift shop is also well stocked with car-related items and worth seeing. You can overlook the circuit from the attached café, and the terrace seating feels incredibly open and airy. I could see Mt. Fuji from my Room and relax on the balcony sofa while taking it in, though there were lots of clouds so it depends on the weather. Stylish light switches and other details, plus a great layout with a closet and separate bath and toilet. The air conditioning was comfortable with natural coolness that didn’t feel drafty. The Onsen is small but very clean, and towels are provided. After bathing, you can enjoy free bottled milk. At the breakfast buffet, main dishes and drinks like coffee can be ordered, freshly made/brewed and brought to your table. The prosciutto, chorizo, and cheese were delicious. Everything else was great too—from fresh vegetables to both Japanese- and Western-style dishes. It was my first time closing my eyes to savor food at a Hotel breakfast buffet. About half of the restaurant guests were families, and about half were international visitors as well. On the way home, I was able to join a circuit driving experience by signing up on the day. So much fun for this price—an amazing deal even though it was a weekday with no races scheduled. I’d love to stay again!

    As soon as I checked...

    As soon as I checked in and entered the Room, I was startled by an extremely loud noise. Outside the window, cars were speeding by at an incredible pace, and I watched for a while. Since the meal was Italian, I was looking forward to grilled vegetables, but there was only salad, which was disappointing—though the portions were generous. Both the Room and the entire building were very clean and lovely. I had Asagiri milk after my bath, and it tasted even better than usual. All of the staff worked efficiently and left a very positive impression on me. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The summer menu is also excellent.

    Our meals have been updated to the summer menu. The delicious taste you expect has not changed. It was excellent. And the black curry, which I hadn’t had in two months, was as superb as ever. I will visit again.

    We stayed here overn...

    We stayed here overnight while traveling back home. My child loves cars, so seeing engines and car bodies everywhere was exciting in itself, and we were able to spend a fulfilling, luxurious time. As I was traveling with my mother who has difficulty walking, we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal at a relaxed pace on the balcony, feeling the pleasant breeze while watching the circuit.

    Wonderful Hotel

    What was disappointing was that the Assetto Corsa machine at the bar was out of order and our Reservation was canceled, and we also couldn’t use the indoor bath in the large public bath due to a malfunction. It was very unfortunate that two facility issues happened at once. Since we had reserved the Assetto Corsa machine well in advance, I think it would have been nice to be informed at check-in. It really changes how you feel depending on whether someone mentions it or not. As for the bath, I wish there had been some alternative—such as providing extra bath essence for the Room—or something similar. We chose the Italian dinner. The lobster pasta was cold. There were three pasta options, and all of them were quite salty—disappointing. Breakfast, however, had a great variety and was delicious. Very satisfied! Our Room had a circuit view. It was impressive, and I’m glad we chose it. The bathroom was spacious too—a great Room overall. The simulator in the gym was fun. We were a bit confused about how to operate it at first, but we got really into it. I felt a little motion-sick (lol). My husband memorized the Fuji Speedway course to prepare for the next day’s driving experience (lol). The driving experience itself the next day was also great. One note: for the driving experience, if you miss turning right at the first arrow toward Control Center, it can be a hassle. The sign pointing to Control Center may be hard to notice—we saw several cars go straight like we did (lol). Please be careful. Despite some disappointments, with activities like the simulator we still had an extremely fun summer vacation here. We’d love to visit again in another season.

    This is my first time posting a Review since using IKYU for about 10 years (sorry!). I stayed on a race day. Although there were no Diamond member benefits, you kindly upgraded me, and the Room was spacious. It was my first time watching a race, and thanks to that I was able to enjoy it comfortably. The entire Hotel had a stylish, cool design!! I fully enjoyed both the race and the Hotel, and it was a very satisfying stay. Next time, I’d like to try the bar and robatayaki. Thank you very much for taking such wonderful care of me despite your busy schedule.

    Highly recommended.

    I couldn’t forget the views of Fuji Speedway and Mt. Fuji, so I made a Reservation well in advance. I was so impressed by breakfast last time that I knew dinner had to be the Italian course—and I highly recommend the cuisine as well. Every dish was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. At other Accommodations, when you return, there’s sometimes something disappointing—but this Accommodation moves me every time I visit. On top of that, the smiles of all the staff during even casual conversations make me feel truly comfortable. It gives me the energy to do my best again starting tomorrow. Thank you very much.

    A Fun Hotel

    We arrived in the early afternoon and enjoyed some curry, which was absolutely delicious. While we were eating, we were told our Room was ready earlier than expected, so we were able to check in right away. The tea in the Room was Ronnefeldt, the amenities were MIKIMOTO, and there were even circuit-pattern socks—such a fun touch. After enjoying the indoor pool and the Onsen, we really appreciated the Shizuoka tea and milk service. Dinner was an Italian course meal, and both the food and service were excellent. Breakfast was high quality across the board—especially the grated yam (tororo) and melon, which I’d love to have again! It was a wonderful Hotel that truly deserves its Michelin Key recognition.

    Wonderful!

    It was a wonderful, modern Hotel. The Facility and service, as well as the restaurant meals, were excellent. For breakfast, you can order as many items as you like from the selectable menu. I’m not a big eater, so I ordered just one dish and then chose my favorites from the buffet. Everything felt made with top-quality ingredients—nothing was disappointing—and I was very satisfied with breakfast. From the Room, I could see the Fuji Speedway track right in front of me and watch car races.

    A wonderfully comfortable stay after a long time—highly recommended for everyone.

    We made a Reservation for a family getaway with our child who loves F1. We had many requests regarding meals and activities, and every one of them was handled wonderfully. Not only the managers, but also the younger staff acted quickly with a strong sense of responsibility and decision-making authority. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay and enjoyed Italian dinner twice; they even changed the menu for us, so we never got bored and enjoyed it throughout. The pool is warm and very clean, and the Onsen is open until late. The complimentary tea after bathing (Shizuoka is famous for tea!) and milk were also delicious. Although it’s a Hotel next to the circuit, you can be fully satisfied even with just a relaxing Hotel stay. This is a Hotel I can recommend to anyone, regardless of age or gender.

    Anniversary Trip

    Even before arriving at the Hotel, we received a very thoughtful email and came with high expectations. We experienced hospitality that exceeded them. In our Room, there was a lovely welcome drink and a message card, which allowed us to fully enjoy our anniversary. Everywhere in the property was spotless, with meticulous cleaning down to every detail, making it feel fresh and pleasant. Breakfast was as delicious as the renowned breakfast at XX and suited our tastes perfectly. We could truly feel the staff’s spirit of hospitality, which gave us a sense of comfort as if we were at home and helped us relax. One point: the Onsen felt quite small, and in the sauna an overseas guest (a parent and child) happened to occupy it exclusively, so we couldn’t enjoy it. We would have appreciated a gentle reminder encouraging guests to observe proper etiquette. It was impressive—in a good way—how proud the staff seemed of their work, and together with their smiles and friendly atmosphere, this was a wonderful Hotel that made us want to return again.

    Disappointing

    I stay at an Accommodation with an Onsen about once a month. I was looking forward to this highly rated property (4.8), expecting to enjoy views of both the speedway and Mt. Fuji. When I arrived on the lobby floor, the front desk was at the lounge counter, and there wasn’t a single sofa where guests could simply relax. There used to be seating during the COVID period, but I was surprised that a Hotel like this still exists. To be precise, there are plenty of sofas, but you can’t sit unless you pay and order something. When I tried to go out to the terrace on the other side to view the speedway, I was told I couldn’t enter there either without ordering something. Since my Room had a Mt. Fuji view, in the end I couldn’t see the speedway at all until after checkout when I went outside—truly disappointing. Using the Onsen also felt strange because they asked for my room number every time. It’s not something I’ve experienced at other Hotels. The trash bins in the changing room were never cleaned, which made me feel their inspection cleaning was inadequate. As for meals, the omelet was tough, and the pancakes were so sweet that I couldn’t finish them. Dinner was Italian, but both quality and portion size could be improved. The hardware is very good since everything is new, and my guest Room was comfortable. It was a stay in a beautiful Facility, but only an empty feeling remains as my memory of it.

    It was very good.

    We were completely satisfied with everything: the new Facility, the wonderful views, the kind and attentive staff, the meals, the driving experience at Fuji Speedway, and more. However, since there are many international guests, you may sometimes be unsure about etiquette or behavior (e.g., in the bath area).

    A Change of Scenery

    A Wonderful Experience

    Everyone was extremely attentive, and we had so many wonderful experiences—the circuit and Mt. Fuji were both beautiful, and it was beyond words. We also ordered a cake separately, and even when I repeatedly requested schedule changes by email due to my own mistake, they kindly accommodated our requests. Their courteous support made us feel truly comfortable. The experiences themselves were exceptional; the museum was very enjoyable, and the Onsen offered a view of Mt. Fuji—everything was amazing. It felt like far more than just one night and two days, and we are deeply moved. Thank you very much.

    Black curry is the best after all.

    We always have a wonderful time enjoying an extraordinary getaway. The chef’s special black curry for lunch is absolutely delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Italian dinner—it was excellent. We’ll definitely have the black curry again next time. The black curry is truly outstanding.

    This year’s Golden W...

    This year’s Golden Week break was short, so we couldn’t make it to Okinawa. Still, wanting to enjoy the calm atmosphere of a Hyatt property, we chose to stay here. I’ve always loved the vibe of Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa, and Fuji Speedway Hotel exceeded my expectations. Although it’s a motorsports-themed Hotel, the interior is exceptionally refined and quiet. The staff were courteous and attentive, which made for a very reassuring stay. During our visit, one family member became unwell, but everyone on the staff kindly looked after us until the end. We are truly grateful. What stayed with me most was that this wasn’t just a “luxury Hotel”—it was a place where you can feel genuine warmth from people. It has a different kind of appeal from an Okinawa resort, but I believe it’s an upscale Accommodation for adults where you can truly refresh even in a short stay. Thank you very much.

    Highly Satisfying New Menu

    This time, we thoroughly enjoyed the new course menu at Japanese Restaurant Koyama. As always, the dishes—crafted with expert skill using locally sourced ingredients carefully selected by the chef—were absolutely delicious, and we were very satisfied.     A Hotel you'll want to visit again and again

    I visited looking forward to the updated menu. The new curry I had for lunch—made with the chef’s special roux and tender, fall-apart beef—was outstanding. It was the best curry I’ve had among several Hotel curries I’ve tried so far. Dinner also featured a new menu, and as always, every dish showcasing the chef’s skill was delicious. As always, the staff were full of warm consideration, making my stay very comfortable. I’m always impressed by the attentive turndown service. All in all, for us as a couple, this is truly a wonderful Hotel that makes us want to come back again and again. We will visit again.

    No matter how many times you visit

    I have stayed here several times when visiting the cemetery next door. This Hotel offers great views whether you face the circuit or Mt. Fuji, so it never disappoints. That’s why I choose “view not specified” and enjoy seeing which side I get each time. The Michelin Key recognition is well deserved. I will be back again. The photo shows Mt.     Excellent cleaning.

    I have stayed here several times, and once again everything was kept very clean. The toilet, in particular, was perfect again. The bathtub and washbasin were also spotless. The bathrobe was so comfortable that it made me wonder if it was available for purchase. For breakfast, I always have the pancakes and scrambled eggs—along with a café latte.

    Our Annual Wedding Anniversary

    This was my first stay since the New Year holidays. I’ve been visiting for our wedding anniversary since last year, and I truly appreciated the kind words from your staff at the restaurant and elsewhere. It made for a wonderful anniversary. Thank you as well for your thoughtful touches in the Room, such as a message card. However, I completely forgot it was during Lunar New Year. This wasn’t the Hotel’s fault, but smoking on the balcony and poor manners in the spa area were extremely unpleasant. If reminders are completely ignored, there’s only so much that can be done. Next year, I’ll be more careful when making my Reservation. Thank you very much.

    It was a wonderful trip.

    I was truly happy to see my car-loving husband and child delighted all day long. With its wonderful design integrated with the museum and racetrack, I think it’s a place where you can enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience. Everyone at the Hotel and the museum was very kind, and we felt comfortable in every way. In terms of the Facility, the Room was comfortably spacious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and bath—it was fantastic. From our Room we could see the race course, and from the restaurant we could see Mt. Fuji, so even spending all day at the Hotel never felt boring. The food was delicious, and I was also happy to be able to relax and enjoy wine with my husband for the first time in a while. It has become a place we definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.
