The staff kindly accommodated our request when we mentioned that we might not make it in time for dinner due to the bus schedule from Hinomisaki. Thank you for your flexibility. The Room retains the charm of the Taisho era, with its original structure preserved. While there were slight quirks like creaky doors and chilly hallways, these elements added an authentic and nostalgic atmosphere. At the same time, some rooms are equipped with air conditioning and gas stoves, and modern updates have been made to the bathrooms, striking a good balance between traditional ambiance and modern comfort. One minor drawback was that the lighting in the washroom was dim, making it a bit challenging for makeup application. Dinner featured creative French cuisine showcasing the chef's originality. It was my first time trying Manyo beef, which was incredibly delicious. However, since both soup and fish dishes were creamy, I felt that a simpler seasoning like salt and pepper might have complemented the meat dish better. Overall, I truly appreciated the staff's perfectly balanced service—attentive yet unobtrusive—which made my stay very comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality!
