    The jacuzzi is great.

My spouse and I stayed here together. The jacuzzi on the balcony was wonderful. It felt like an open-air bath, and we could see the ocean—the view was amazing. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days: sunbathing on the beach, then back to the jacuzzi, and meals of Chinese cuisine made with local ingredients. We had an amazing three days.

    A Chinese-style breakfast is a rare treat.

I stayed here expecting clean, well-maintained Facilities since it seems to have opened about four years ago as a sister Hotel of Kafuu Resort Condo. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and I especially liked the large balcony. The Facilities, including the air conditioning, felt new and everything was clean, so the Room itself was very pleasant. Since this trip was mainly about enjoying a Hotel stay, that part mattered a lot to me. There is a jacuzzi on the balcony, but personally I preferred relaxing on the daybed while looking out at the beautiful sea and sky—it was wonderful. We were lucky with the weather and really enjoyed the view. Compared with the main building, this one is smaller in scale, which I personally liked. One highlight was the Chinese breakfast—exactly what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. Everything we tried was delicious. Overall it was a “good Hotel,” but there were big differences among staff members. Some greeted us with a smile, while others felt abrupt; even when passing by, some pool staff did not greet us at all. Staff training seemed lacking. The paid aperitif time that started in April was disappointing: pinchos were hardly replenished, there were many empty plates, and there were only one or two snacks available—we even had to ask if it was already over. It felt like operations weren’t running smoothly. Maybe they are short-staffed? After waiting for an entire hour, shrimp mayo finally came out; we ate that and left. I also looked forward to the sunset saxophone performance advertised as twice daily, but it didn’t happen on either of two nights—both times we were simply told casually that there wouldn’t be any that day. That was disappointing as well; whether due to staffing or poor scheduling, I’m not sure. I’ve already visited Okinawa three times this year, and perhaps because I had been staying at higher-end Hotels before this one felt lacking in hospitality overall. Considering the price point though, maybe this is what can be expected.

    Everything was disappointing.

Impressed by a sister Hotel, I made a Reservation here without much research. Just before our stay, my wife said she was worried about the Reviews—and it became clear from check-in. First, when arriving by car, there was no guidance anywhere showing where to enter. Maybe it exists, but we couldn’t find it. We managed to get there only because we already knew in advance that it was behind Kafuu Resort; otherwise we would have been driving around for quite a while. I knew check-in was at 3:00 p.m., but we arrived around 2:30 p.m. The entrance is set far back and can’t be seen from the parking area, and no one came out to greet us. We unloaded our suitcases and parked the car anyway. After locating the entrance, we dragged our suitcases over and checked in—at which point I complained to a staff member wearing a “Training” tag. This is not a 10,000–20,000 yen Business Hotel; the service did not meet even basic expectations for this price range. After an awkward check-in process, I was handed the key with an attitude of “there you go,” so I asked, “Do we need to move our luggage ourselves?” I was told staff would take care of it. After walking around the pool area and heading to our Room, I found that the staff member was waiting in front of our door. Was my request unreasonable? At this class (and price) of Hotel, this should be standard service. Also, what is the point of a “Training” tag? Is it meant as an excuse for inexperienced employees? Guests are paying customers; supervisors should be close by and providing proper support. Next: we couldn’t use the pool properly. Perhaps a typhoon was expected the next day, but under intense sunshine there was absolutely no shade. Despite perfect weather otherwise, nobody used the pool at all. It felt like management prioritized hotel convenience over guests. As for the Room: while the entryway and toilet were excessively bright, the living area was dark. Filling up the jacuzzi took about an hour; adding hot water maxed out at 45°C (113°F), so once it cooled down you couldn’t use it again quickly. The vanity area was cramped—two people couldn’t pass each other—and filling even a regular bath took time as well. There wasn’t enough space to hang two bathrobes comfortably. The Chinese breakfast buffet—everything about it—was below average. It was an Accommodation experience my wife and I would rather erase from memory.

    This is a Resort Hotel.

The Room size, jacuzzi, and amenities were all well-appointed, truly befitting a Resort Hotel. Live music by the pool at night made the experience even more enjoyable.

    A rather disappointing stay

I stayed to celebrate with someone important. The moment I entered the Room, there was a smell like toilet drainage and air freshener. On the table in the Room, a memo about guests with detailed instructions (probably for the cleaning staff) had been left behind. In addition to this, there were many disappointing issues regarding hospitality, which was very unfortunate. I have stayed at this brand because I like it, and this was my second stay at Aqua Sense, but due to this experience I cannot recommend it.

We recommend having dinner with us.

I’d been interested in this Hotel for some time because of the balcony jacuzzi and its Chinese restaurant, and my stay exceeded expectations. The moment I entered the Room, it felt very spacious, with a large window opening onto an even larger balcony, creating a wonderful sense of openness. The interior was unified in blue tones—more natural than glamorous—and designed to let you fully enjoy Okinawa’s scenery. The view of the sky from the jacuzzi and that open-air feeling were exceptionally comfortable, unlike anything I’ve experienced at other Hotels. It still felt fairly new as well, and everything was clean, making it easy to relax. What stood out most was the Chinese restaurant. It was my first time trying “Ryukyu Chinese,” and everything was delicious. The shrimp in the chili shrimp dish were incredibly plump—large enough that they were hard to bite through—and paired perfectly with the sauce. The Cantonese-style steamed fish also made great use of fresh ingredients and tasted wonderful. The Chongqing-style black vinegar dish with Agu pork had just the right acidity, and the pork was beautifully tender. Every dish exceeded expectations, and I’m glad we chose to have dinner there. Unlike many other Hotels, it truly felt like a restaurant with skilled chefs who can really cook. The floor staff were also courteous; they accommodated our requests and came by properly to take refill orders for the all-you-can-drink option. It had been a long time since I’d had such a flawless Hotel dinner experience. Breakfast also featured many handmade dishes with heartfelt flavor. There was plenty of variety, and we were very satisfied. We used the pool as well, and while we were looking around deciding which deck chair to use, a lifeguard brought us towels. Between our time in the Room, dining at the restaurant, and using the Facility such as the pool—not only were everything well equipped in terms of amenities and ingredients/services offered—but we also truly felt the thoughtfulness of all staff members throughout our stay. We would love to return again. Thank you very much.

It was a very spacious and clean Hotel. Unfortunately it rained, but we enjoyed the jet bath in our swimsuits and felt like we were at a resort. Breakfast was also delicious. If I had to mention something, there was a slight odor when we opened the bathroom door. Perhaps due to staff shortages, the welcome was brief and there was no send-off. It felt more like a Business Hotel.

I came back expecting a great second stay, but…

I loved my stay last year, so I visited again looking forward to my second stay. Perhaps because my expectations were higher, I was disappointed with the Facility maintenance and service. There were several issues that concerned me—how repeat guests were treated, the Room, odors in the bathroom, stains on the balcony sofa, etc.—and it made me feel that unless you choose a higher-tier Room, you may not be able to enjoy a truly pleasant Hotel stay. I was considering Fufu Jogashima “Umikaze no Shirabe” from the same group in November, but now I’m hesitant. The only thing I was satisfied with was the breakfast menu that I reserved through another site. I do like the balcony jacuzzi as a Facility, so next time I plan to take precautions myself before making a Reservation.

The quality of service is worse than last year...

I love the Room and the jet bath, and this is a Hotel I always want to stay at whenever I visit Okinawa. This time we stayed in a corner suite, and the Room was spacious and comfortable. However, there were a few disappointing points, so I’m writing in hopes they can be improved. First, we checked in at 3:00 PM, but the welcome drink service started at 5:30 PM, so we couldn’t have it. After that, we also couldn’t get coffee—perhaps because the coffee machine was broken. I remember being able to use it a bit earlier last year. Also, I wanted to try the cakes, but for all three days they weren’t displayed in the showcase—maybe our timing didn’t match—so that was disappointing. The shop is fairly small as well, so there wasn’t much to buy, and it was hard to find a good way to use our on-site credit. In addition, although our Reservation included children staying with us, only adult pajamas were provided. I understood on the first day, but on the second day we still had to request them again before they were prepared for us—I would have appreciated better communication on that point. That said, this remains a Hotel I want to visit every year, and I’d be happy if these areas could be improved.

    It was a comfortable trip.

The Hotel’s service was excellent, and I had a very comfortable stay. The bath and jacuzzi had low water pressure, so it took a long time to fill them, which is why I gave 4 stars. However, everything was very clean and pleasant. I stayed for five days, but the meals were Chinese every day (and the side dishes were almost the same), so I got a little tired of them. The food tasted great. There were also a few Japanese and Western options, but the selection was limited. I would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

It was a very good Hotel.

The entrance is small and might make you wonder at first, but the Room is spacious and comfortable. The jacuzzi was very relaxing, and the bath salts smelled amazing. It’s a Hotel that makes you want to come back again.

    Very reasonably priced.

This time, I treated myself to a birthday trip to my beloved Okinawa. It was a shame I only had time for one night and two days, but an old childhood friend who has moved here was able to join me, so I chose Onna Village and stayed at this Hotel I’d been curious about. Using the airport limousine bus, I got off at the neighboring Kafuu. When I told the staff member who took me to the Hotel that I’d signed up for car sharing but it was my first time and I wasn’t confident, they stayed with me until we completed the setup and got the car moving. They also said that since returning it would be far from the Hotel, they could pick me up from a nearby annex building and take me back to AQUASENSE, which was a huge help. After returning to the Hotel and checking in, I was told my Room had been upgraded. Without thinking, I blurted out “I’m so happy!” (lol). The Room had blue flooring—my favorite color. The spacious interior felt cohesive with its objects and artwork, and I kept thinking how wonderful it would be if this were my home. The provided glasses didn’t feel cheap at all, and there was even a two-door refrigerator stocked with beer and sanpin tea, which was great. For the jacuzzi bath, I could choose my own bath salts, so it was incredibly relaxing. For dinner we went to the restaurant inside the Hotel. Breakfast too—but everything is delicious here no matter what you eat. At dinner it all tasted so good that we ordered too much and couldn’t even make it to dessert. At breakfast we ate so much that we weren’t hungry again until evening. Both the Room and meals were extremely satisfying overall. The reason amenities/bath are 4 stars is simply because the slippers and pajamas felt like something you’d find at a rural hotel, and because the jacuzzi water pressure was low so it took time to fill up. Those are really minor points if anything at all—I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.”

Staying again after a long time.

The assigned Room was on the 7th floor. When the Hotel first opened, it felt like great value for money considering the spaciousness and the in-room jacuzzi, so I stayed repeatedly. But I didn’t have a chance to stay in Onna Village for a while, so it’s been some time. I’m still very satisfied with the Room! It was a windy day with not-so-great weather, but I still enjoyed the view and the jacuzzi. Breakfast follows the same pattern as before, but every time I look forward to the two kinds of rice porridge. It’s something you rarely get at other Hotels. There were lounge services (JPY 3,000 per person?) and saxophone performances that weren’t available before, but I didn’t use the lounge because it felt more like something set out in the lobby lounge together with welcome drinks, rather than what you’d find at other Hotels. And every time I leave feeling a little sad about how simple checkout is—but when I stay in Onna Village again, I think I’ll use this Hotel!

    Family Trip

I stay here every year. Last time, I had a wonderful stay in the 9th-floor Pool Suite, but it was a bit too spacious, so this time I made a Reservation on the 8th floor. It felt even closer to the ocean, and they warmed the pool water even in winter, so I was able to enjoy it fully. However, the refrigerator was stocked only with sweet juices, so I would have appreciated something like jasmine tea as well. Although there were some days with bad weather, I was able to spend my time very comfortably.

    The Chinese breakfas...

The Chinese breakfast was absolutely delicious. We splurge on travel twice a year, and this was the best breakfast we’ve ever had. Chinese cuisine is difficult to make at home, and it felt like each dish must have taken a lot of time and effort. However, since we stayed for three nights, having only Chinese options became a bit repetitive. This trip was for our family of three. The Room was stunning, with stylish furniture and beautiful colors. The jacuzzi that let us enjoy an extraordinary experience was fantastic, and choosing from the bath salts was exciting. The only downside is that since the property doesn’t seem to target families with children, a bit more consideration for kids would have made it a five-star stay. We were disappointed that there were no children’s toothbrushes or slippers provided.

The whole family will be delighted.

I came back because my previous stay was so great. I brought my family this time, and they really loved it too—so happy! The jacuzzi was very relaxing! We had a perfect view of the sunset, and the Christmas concert was wonderful. We also received an in-house voucher and tried the restaurant for the first time; the food was quite delicious. The Room minibar is free on the first day as well, so there’s nothing to complain about! Next time, they’re requesting a Room with a private pool, so I’ll work hard to save up! Thank you for taking such good care of us.

A standout feature is the in-room jacuzzi.

I stayed at this Hotel for two nights on my first winter trip to Okinawa. In winter, Okinawa was warm enough during the day to wear a T-shirt and shorts. In the evening, one light layer was perfect, and at night an extra layer felt just right. Jacuzzi The jacuzzi at night was especially amazing. I used it once in the evening, again after dinner, and even in the morning—it felt truly luxurious. Since I was staying for two nights, I was a bit concerned about cleanliness, but it was properly cleaned each time, so I could use it with peace of mind. Breakfast Because breakfast had such high ratings, my expectations were high, but personally I didn’t find it “exceptional.” The carefully selected teas were a nice touch and the dim sum was delicious, but it didn’t quite feel like a deciding factor that would make me want to return just for that. Guest room I stayed in an Ocean Terrace Deluxe Room. The layout is long and narrow, but there was plenty of space overall and it was comfortable. The shampoo left my hair feeling a bit squeaky and wasn’t really to my taste, but the hair dryer had strong airflow and was easy to use. The terrace has a jacuzzi and a large sofa; however, the most-used parts of the sofa were clearly worn down, which was slightly disappointing. Also, EDM-style music from the pool area on the first floor continued until around 10 p.m., which may bother guests who prefer a quiet stay.

The Room was even nicer than I expected, and the meals were delicious! Everything was great, but after checkout I realized I had left something behind and called, but it was hard to get through, which made me anxious. We absolutely loved it!

I visit Okinawa three or four times a year. I usually choose a Hotel with lounge access, but this was the first time I’ve ever been able to relax in my Room like this—I absolutely loved it. The moment I walked into the Room, I was thrilled because it was exactly my favorite style. Spacious, beautiful, and spotless. Soaking in the jacuzzi while listening to birdsong and looking out at the ocean was incredibly relaxing and wonderful. The bath salts smelled great, and it was fun choosing extra ones in the lobby. For dinner, we ate at an Okinawan restaurant partnered with the Hotel—it was surprisingly affordable and delicious. Breakfast was also very good. Next time, I’ll come back during a season when I can enjoy the pool and beach and stay for a Multiple Night Stay for the entire trip. It was truly fantastic! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to relax. Thank you very much.

    Okinawa Trip

I decided to visit Okinawa on a whim and stayed at this accommodation with a friend during our trip. The hotel staff were very polite, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious to the point of feeling luxurious, and so comfortable that even after a multiple night stay, I wished I could stay longer. Breakfast was Chinese cuisine, which initially made me feel slightly disappointed as it wasn’t Okinawan food. However, the creative use of Okinawan ingredients made it delicious and enjoyable. The favorable season and weather contributed to making this trip extremely comfortable, for which I am truly grateful. I would love to stay here again when visiting Okinawa in the future. Thank you very much for everything!

    It was excellent.

This is my second stay at Aqua Sense Hotel, and my satisfaction remains high. I was happy to stay in the pink-colored Room on the fourth floor as I had hoped. However, there was a musty smell when I opened the door. Although I got used to it over time, it bothered me again whenever I returned after going out.

    Top Floor Suite

We were upgraded to the top-floor suite, which was very exciting. The terrace was spacious, there was a pool, a large dining table, a jacuzzi, and even two toilets. We enjoyed drinks together in the Room. The Chinese cuisine was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. There were plenty of pools as well; however, due to limited staff, we ended up cleaning up empty cans and bottles ourselves at the end. Other than that, everything was excellent!

    Unfortunately.

I have been using Kafuu for 15 years, but this time I stayed at Aqua Sense for the first time since it was newly opened, and honestly, I was disappointed. No cart transportation available, breakfast is Chinese every day with almost no change in the menu, the room is small, and discount tickets cannot be used even within the same group. You can't go directly down to the sea. After using the pool, you have to go back to your room to shower. Amenities are ordinary; at this price point, other accommodations provide high-end brand soaps like Bulgari shampoo. It’s more expensive than Kafuu. So we opted for Orange for dinner instead. Also, most of the hotel staff seem to be new... There are inconveniences that only those who have stayed at Kafuu would understand without staying here first-hand. The only feature is that all rooms come with a jacuzzi on the balcony.

    Highly popular with families

Every summer, we visit Okinawa. We stayed in a Corner Ocean Suite on the 8th floor as a family of four. Each floor has different room color themes, and the green tones on our floor were natural and soothing, creating a relaxing interior. The terrace outside the bathroom window had a jacuzzi where we added plenty of provided bath salts to enjoy the beautiful ocean view and fragrances. The lobby offers about eight types of bath salts, available for unlimited use. The restaurant serves only Chinese cuisine, which is rare for a hotel, but with various dim sum options and other dishes that keep it interesting. Located in the center of Onna Village, there are multiple dining options nearby, so meals are never an issue. During summer events at night, we enjoyed spectacular fireworks from our room's balcony—an impressive display of sound and light that left us amazed. This medium-sized hotel caters to adults and provided us with great relaxation during our short stay. According to my family’s opinion, if you're not focused on beach activities, this accommodation surpasses Alivila in terms of rooms and overall experience. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Comments on Foreign Objects in Guest Rooms and Front Desk Service

We recently stayed for 4 nights with 2 people. The Room was spacious, and the balcony offered a beautiful view of the ocean and fireworks at night, making it a very pleasant stay. However, on the second night when we returned to our Room, we found an opened plastic bottle with its label removed on the table. It was not ours, and while we thought it might belong to the cleaning staff, it felt unsettling. When we informed the staff about this issue, they said they would check but did not follow up afterward. On our final day during checkout, we brought up the matter again only to be told that it was likely left by cleaning staff without any apology or sense of sincerity in their response. While the Hotel itself was excellent overall, this experience left us feeling disappointed. We understand that maintaining cleanliness in such a large Hotel can be challenging; however, we strongly hope for improvements in basic cleaning checks and staff responses. We kindly request that this incident is shared internally and addressed thoroughly to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

    Stylish and beautiful Hotel

We stayed for one night as a family starting from 7/31. There was a bedroom separated by a door in the back, which was helpful since our elementary school-aged child goes to bed early. During the summer vacation event, fireworks were launched right in front of us, and we were able to watch them together as a family from the balcony—it was truly moving. My son and husband said it was the best hotel they’ve ever stayed at in Okinawa and were very pleased. However, breakfast consisted of Chinese cuisine only, with no bread, Western dishes, or Japanese dishes available. There weren’t many juice options either, so there wasn’t much for kids to eat. Other than that, the pool was great and everything else was perfect!

    Unfortunately.

This is my second stay. Since I am traveling with my mother, I prefer a cozy hotel, and I love the room's spaciousness and the jacuzzi, which is why I chose this accommodation again. However, this time, I was disappointed when I asked for a reservation at a restaurant in an affiliated hotel and was told that they could not make reservations on my behalf and that I should handle it myself! It was the first time I've been refused when asking a hotel to make a restaurant reservation. The attitude of the restaurant staff was also not very good. Since it's still a new hotel, I felt that the staff's skills could use some improvement. I feel like it was better when I stayed here two years ago.

    Clean and excellent service.

My husband was unable to walk due to a muscle strain after arriving in Okinawa, which limited our sightseeing. However, the check-out time was extended for us, and the check-in time at the neighboring Kafuu Resort Fuchaku was adjusted earlier. The staff near the front desk kindly helped carry our luggage and were very accommodating. This Hotel is highly recommended as the best in Okinawa.
