    The only drawback is that breakfast gets crowded; otherwise, everything is perfect.

    Everyone at reception and the bell staff were kind and attentive, and both the Room furnishings and the lobby were beautiful and comfortable—overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The only disappointment was the long wait for breakfast. We were told it would be busy, but we still had to wait 30 minutes in the lobby until our name was called. To address this, I strongly recommend introducing an online queue system such as AirWait. It’s a shame that this alone could make guests hesitate to return, because everything else about the property is excellent.

    Timed to coincide with the children’s school holidays.

    We stayed to match our elementary school child’s break and to unwind from work. We wanted a nearby Onsen, and since the weather was nice and we had become Diamond members, we searched for a place that met the Diamond member conditions and made a Reservation. The staff at the drop-off area were very helpful, but it was disappointing that the check-in counter staff and the staff who came to carry our luggage were rather curt. The Hotel was thoroughly cleaned throughout, and we were able to stay comfortably. We had high expectations for the Onsen, but it smelled slightly of chlorine, which was disappointing. For breakfast, elementary school children can order the same menu as adults. Preschool children are free, which is a great perk. The food was also very delicious. Guests can use 200V car charging for free. Since it was close by, we were able to go there and back on electric power alone—lucky. It also has good access to Inuyama Castle, so I think it’s an excellent location for sightseeing in Inuyama. Depending on the price, I would consider staying again next time.

    We were able to relax and take our time.

    The Room was clean, and the large windows made it feel bright and open. It was disappointing that there was only one chair even though it was a twin room, so one of us sat on the bed to drink coffee. Both the Italian dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The Onsen was also great. We were able to relax a lot. Thank you very much.

    It’s a clean Hotel, but...

    The building is clean. However, it feels too delicate and many things are hard to understand. Even the front desk location made me wonder, “Is this it?” In the large public bath, I couldn’t find the door from the changing area to the bathing area. Several guests were also confused about where to place towels. Clearer signs may be needed. In the Room, I could hear quite a lot of noise from next door, which bothered me. I was saved by the helpful service from a Japanese female staff member at the restaurant and a Japanese female staff member at the front desk. The location for Inuyama Castle is perfect.

    Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    I stayed here again for the first time in a year. Last time there were many guests and the staff seemed very busy, but this time I received so much thoughtful care and had a wonderful stay. Every staff member was excellent, and I was happy that they were so kind to my child. Breakfast was as delicious as ever. It always makes me want to come back just for this breakfast. The Onsen was also clean and very relaxing. It made me want to soak in it again and again. As for the Room, although it wasn’t directly facing the Kiso River, I truly appreciate that you arranged a Room with a view of Inuyama Castle. The snow-covered castle and garden were beautiful. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything during this visit.

    The building is magnificent, and the service is surprisingly efficient.

    An attractive building that makes the most of the spectacular views—perhaps that’s why the services have been thoroughly streamlined. The small number of staff is surprising, yet they provide service that works with that headcount. The facilities are very comfortable, and if you treat the service as Business Hotel–level, I think you can have a pleasant stay. This Hotel can be very comfortable if you know how to use it, so I decided to write at length. First, check-in may surprise you if you’re expecting a Resort Hotel experience, but it’s fine if you accept it as a Business Hotel. That said, my Room was far from the elevator, and walking down a dark hallway with luggage was pretty discouraging. The view from the Room was standard—so-so—and honestly below my expectations. If you decide to enjoy the scenery in the lobby or restaurant instead, then it’s not an issue. Since this clearly reflects the price range here, it can’t really be helped. I was told at the front desk that I had been upgraded, but still—there’s only so much you can expect. The furnishings are solid, and above all, the bed is excellent. The bed linens felt so good that I actually looked them up. The Room layout was a bit odd in places and not always user-friendly, but the bed and chairs were good enough to make up for it. As for amenities, I was told at the front desk that they are not set in the Room and to contact them if I needed anything. For amenities, it’s best to assume there’s almost nothing. The selection is thinner than a slightly upscale Business Hotel, and the quality isn’t great either. You’ll be much more comfortable if you bring your own favorites—this is essential. I think this Hotel’s biggest selling points are the views and the bath. The bath is much smaller than it was at Inuyama Hotel, but the water quality is very good. There are only basic amenities there as well, so I recommend bringing your own. Wooden geta sandals are provided in the Room for getting around, but the straps are tight; if you end up with a Room that requires a long walk down the hallway, be careful if you’re not used to wearing them. As for dining… I will refrain from writing about dinner because I will definitely never use it again. Breakfast is excellent. Every small side dish was delicious, and they grilled fish very skillfully as well. The buffet selection was also outstanding—if it were breakfast only, it would be perfect. There were plenty of staff in service too; perhaps they put special effort into breakfast. Next time, I’d like to use what I learned on this trip to have an even more comfortable stay.

    I stayed here for my birthday. It was a bit disappointing that the Onsen was slightly lukewarm. I didn’t expect the egg dish at breakfast to be so filling, and I was completely full. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

    Disappointing hospitality.

    I booked this Hotel because I wanted to visit Inuyama Castle and enjoy the Onsen. After receiving the course menu list and being told to contact them once I decided on a dinner course, I went to my Room. When I called the front desk to make a dinner Reservation, I was told they were fully booked and it would be after 8:00 p.m., and that they didn’t know when a table would open up. They said they would contact me when something became available around 8:00 p.m. I hadn’t had lunch because of my schedule, so since it would be after 8:00 p.m., I ordered room service for a light meal before going to the Onsen. Around 6:00 p.m., the front desk called and said I could enter the restaurant at 6:30 p.m. However, since I had just eaten, I told them I wanted to keep it as originally planned—around 8:00 p.m. Although I thought, “They told me around 8:00, so of course I ate,” at that moment I was enjoying my time while looking at the Kiso River in the evening and looking forward to the dinner course with wine selection. After that, even at 8:00 p.m., there was no call from the front desk. When I checked restaurant congestion on the Hotel information (TV), it showed “Busy,” so I waited longer. At 8:45 p.m., thinking it was strange not to hear anything by then, I called the front desk—and was simply told to come to the restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant and mentioned that no one had contacted me, a staff member replied that they had been ready since 6:30 p.m. Even though they said they would call me, it felt like it was somehow my fault. Also, although this was a solo stay, my table was set for two people; come to think of it, room service also came with two sets of knives and forks. It seemed they did not have accurate guest information. From around 9:00 p.m. (closing time is 10:00 p.m.), still feeling upset, I rushed through dinner and wine at an incredible pace—but couldn’t enjoy any of it at all. At checkout, the staff member took my key case. When I said I wanted to see the garden afterward, they curtly told me, “Please go before checkout time.” I explained that the staff at check-in had told me I could visit even after checkout, but they responded unpleasantly, saying, “That staff member is wrong.” My mood was ruined again as I left the Hotel. However, the receptionist at Urakuen said that guests can visit even after checkout. I felt the main issue with this Hotel was poor communication and coordination among staff. The Onsen also had a strong chlorine smell, and the towel-replenishment staff were so focused on their work that they blocked guests—while a guest was waiting behind them.

    This Hotel is truly amazing no matter when you visit. Everything about the Hotel—the atmosphere, cleanliness, Onsen, and the wonderful breakfast—is absolutely perfect!

    That's unfortunate.

    Loud voices from a group of Chinese guests in the bath. The lack of manners was disappointing. I never expected to have such an experience at this Hotel. It’s very unfortunate as it used to be one of my favorite Hotels.

    Another new discovery

    This time, I had the chance to see the sand garden pattern at the entrance being redone and spoke with the gardener. They mentioned maintaining the garden three times a week, how the patterns change each time, and how to distinguish between bamboo planted during the opening of the Hotel and those that grew later. It was delightful to discover another aspect of enjoying this Hotel. For breakfast, I noticed croissant d'amande for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. It seems it's not always available, but I hope to have it again next time. Additionally, my Room was perfectly arranged to my liking. From the moment I entered, I felt relaxed as if returning home rather than visiting. I'll definitely come back for another heartwarming stay!

    First-Time Trip to Inuyama

    It was a great decision to choose this Hotel for our first visit to Inuyama. The location of the Hotel is excellent. On the first day, after checking in, we visited Inuyama Castle and strolled through the castle town while exploring Dondenkan. The next day, before checking out, we enjoyed a walk around Urakuen, making our stay very fulfilling. The Room was comfortable, and the Onsen provided a relaxing and soothing experience. This time we only had breakfast at the Hotel, but as with other Indigo Hotels, it was delicious. The green smoothie and large croissant were particularly delightful. We were blessed with good weather, and both my husband and I—as well as my brother-in-law and his wife who accompanied us—were very satisfied with our first trip to Inuyama. If we have another chance to visit Inuyama again in the future, we would definitely love to stay here once more!

    We enjoyed a relaxing and luxurious stay!

    New and clean. The stylish interior was delightful. Everything necessary was well-prepared. The breakfast was delicious, and I ate to my heart's content. However, the croissant wasn't warmed in the toaster, so it was cold and less enjoyable compared to when it used to be freshly baked and warm. One of the Japanese side dishes on my plate was duplicated, but it was quickly replaced upon request. The restaurant staff were very considerate, always stopping to let guests pass by first. I registered for the Indigo Group's email service, but the text appeared garbled and unreadable. The public bath had a strong chlorine smell in the water.

    The hospitality...

    Stayed for one night from December 28 to December 30, Reiwa Year 7. 1. There was no staff at the entrance to assist with luggage, which might be part of their system. 2. Taxis occupied the central area of the entrance, making it impossible to pull up a car. 3. Had a course meal at the restaurant, but servers could not explain the menu unless asked and had to check with the kitchen each time questions were raised. The timing of serving dishes was also inconsistent. 4. Breakfast was a buffet costing 5,000 yen per person; however, there were too few options for such a price and it did not feel worth it. 5. While there is a sauna, there is no designated space for cooling down afterward. 6. After bathing, meeting up with someone of the opposite gender could only be done in the hotel hallway; this made it inconvenient for couples or families as those who finished first had nowhere comfortable to wait. The service was so poor that I do not plan on staying again in the future despite how beautiful and well-maintained this Facility is—it feels like wasted potential and underutilized resources. Overall impression: an overpriced Hotel that fails to deliver value matching its cost.

    Birthday Gift

    I have been staying here since the opening, and the public bath is always clean and pleasant. When I heard there was a birthday gift during check-in, I was excited to enter the room, but I felt disappointed to find it was just "Genkotsu Ame," which used to be a welcome amenity. I usually spend my birthdays abroad or at luxury hotels, but this time I chose Indigo Inuyama because my partner wasn’t feeling well and we love the Onsen nearby. While I don’t expect too much, even something like towel art would make me happy. Honestly, having nothing might be better than being let down. I miss the high-quality breakfast from when they first opened, but I still want to visit again for the Onsen experience.

    3rd Stay for 3 Generations

    As a returning guest, this stay has become an annual tradition for us at the end of the year. However, I was quite disappointed that this time the IKYU Diamond benefits were only applied to one room. We had initially booked one room as a triple, assuming standard beds would be provided, but it turned out to include a temporary bed, which was also disappointing. One of my grandchildren has now entered elementary school, and since the pricing is the same as for adults, I wish there were child rate options available. Breakfast was excellent overall; however, I felt that the quality of bread had slightly declined compared to our previous visit. The seasoning leaned towards being salty—perhaps adding a bit more sweetness would improve it further. The Onsen remains wonderful as always. It’s evident that cleanliness and convenience are prioritized with staff constantly maintaining and managing the facilities. Although I’ve mentioned some negative points this time around, overall it was still an excellent stay. Please ensure not to lower your service standards in future. It seemed like most guests during our visit were affluent individuals from Korea.

    This was my second stay. This time, I chose the Japanese-style breakfast, which was very delicious and highly satisfying. The hotel has a calm atmosphere, and the staff's hospitality was excellent, making my stay very pleasant. It's worth visiting Inuyama.

    I was very satisfied.

    The atmosphere of the Hotel was impeccable, with architecture featuring abundant use of wood, creating a very warm and luxurious ambiance. Although it was just a one-night stay, it left me wanting more. The meals were exquisite, each dish delicious, and the service was exceptional. Having stayed at numerous hotels before, this is undoubtedly one of the top-tier Hotels. I would love to return for a more leisurely stay next time.

    Great Location

    The Room itself is not very large, but it is quiet and comfortable. The well-maintained grounds and the view are wonderful, making me want to stay again. This time, I could only choose a hot pot meal, so next time I would like to try the course menu.

    Stayed at the accommodation for the first time in three years.

    This was our second stay at the accommodation after three years. The first time, I visited while pregnant, and this time we came as a family of three. Three years ago, we saw on TV that the croissants were exceptional on "The World Unknown to Matsuko," which led us to visit. The croissants were indeed amazing, and my husband was surprised by how delicious the kouign-amann was! We were looking forward to it again this time, but unfortunately, it was no longer available—our fault for not checking in advance. We heard it might have been removed from the lineup due to low popularity, which is understandable but still disappointing. Hopefully, it will make a comeback someday! The staff members were attentive and considerate overall; however, during busy breakfast hours, their responses felt a bit brisk. Our previous stay as a couple allowed us to relax peacefully as adults-only guests. This time we noticed many families with babies staying comfortably too—it seems very family-friendly! We love both the atmosphere of the town and this hotel itself and would love to visit again in the future.

    What an amazing Hotel so close by! The perfect balance of the traditional Japanese Onsen atmosphere and the modern Western-style elements of the Hotel. From check-in to check-out, it was a truly moving experience filled with happiness. The biggest highlight was the exceptional cleanliness—this is the most important factor for me.     I was completely satisfied with the location and customer service.

    We chose a room with a Kiso River view, and we could also see Inuyama Castle from the terrace. At night, the castle and the hotel's pond were beautifully lit up. When we went out in the evening, the bamboo grove in front of the entrance was illuminated and looked stunning. The Onsen was natural, and the open-air bath was especially amazing. Breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options, along with drinks, a salad bar, and fruits—more than enough to satisfy us. We would love to visit again during cherry blossom season.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    We were given a corner Room with views of Inuyama Castle and the Kiso River for my sister's birthday. The hospitality was excellent, making it a wonderful birthday celebration. Both lunch and breakfast were delicious, leaving us very satisfied. The latte art of Wanmaru-kun was adorable. We would love to visit again during the cormorant fishing season.     I was truly satisfied!

    We stayed here again this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary, just like last time. Based on the satisfaction from our first stay, this was our only choice. While there are attractions nearby such as Inuyama Castle and the castle town, we spent a relaxing morning at the hotel until noon. Since my wife was pregnant this time, we didn’t use the Onsen but found the bath in our room more than sufficient. The rooms with views of Inuyama Castle and Kiso River are, of course, wonderful, but what I looked forward to most was breakfast. This time we were lucky enough to get a window-side seat. The clear autumn sky beautifully highlighted the main keep of Inuyama Castle while offering a panoramic view of the hotel’s garden and water features—it felt like looking at a painting. And above all else, breakfast was visually stunning and absolutely delicious! Just like last time, it exceeded expectations. Everything was excellent, but I especially loved the green smoothie—it was incredibly tasty! We heard that it had been carefully crafted through trial and error by staff members; my wife and I ended up having about six glasses each. While sightseeing is enjoyable too, this hotel teaches you how wonderful it is to simply enjoy its offerings—the breathtaking views from your room, Onsen baths (if used), elegant interiors in your room, or their exceptional breakfast spread. The hospitality provided by staff strikes a perfect balance—not too distant yet not overly close—and left us deeply impressed. We look forward to making this an annual tradition for celebrating special occasions. I highly recommend everyone visit at least once!

    Returning after 3 years

    We stayed at the accommodation for our wedding anniversary because we had a great experience three years ago on a previous stay. Last time, it was a weekday stay, so it was a relaxing experience, but this time it was the first day of a long weekend and quite lively. The upgraded room offered stunning views, and every part of the hotel was wonderful. When making the dinner reservation, only later times were available compared to our preferred time. We considered dining outside but decided to reserve as we were told they would call our room once seating became available and could likely accommodate us earlier than the reserved time. This information was properly shared during check-in as well. Although we didn’t receive any call in reality due to how busy the restaurant was, we understood given how crowded it seemed. Both dinner and breakfast were served at window-side seats, which made us very happy. Next time, we’d like to stay on a weekday again!

    Stunning view from the entrance hall

    As you enter the Hotel, you will be greeted by a beautiful green garden and an artificial pond, with a view of Inuyama Castle in the distance. The high ceilings create a sense of openness. Since the Facility is new, every area feels pleasant to use. I had very few interactions with the staff, so I rated the service as average, though it might actually be higher.

    The ambiance is wonderful, but the room service could be improved...

    This time, I used room service for both dinner and breakfast. While the food was delicious, it was overpriced at 8,500 yen with small portions and served cold. I also ordered fruit, but it included frozen fruit. Additionally, the convenience store is far away, and there is no convenience store within the hotel. However, the staff who delivered the room service wore masks properly and ensured that food was covered to prevent exposure to other guests' breath or droplets. This attention to hygiene was appreciated (otherwise, I wouldn’t have touched the food). After a long trip, I didn’t have the energy to walk 30 minutes round-trip to a convenience store. Unfortunately, orange juice wasn’t available on the room service drink menu either. It was a tough night as I couldn’t get what I wanted to eat or drink. At the same time, dining in a restaurant with unmasked foreign guests wasn’t an option for me due to concerns about COVID-19 aerosols traveling over 10 meters—there are cases where one infected person spread COVID-19 to 40 customers in overseas cafes. At check-in at the counter, staff were not wearing masks initially but kindly complied when asked—thank you for that! However, COVID-19 isn’t over yet; claims of reduced severity are misinformation as pathogenicity remains unchanged even though it's now classified differently. That said, both the building and rooms were very clean. The sunset view of Inuyama Castle from my room was stunning! The garden is well-maintained and beautiful too. Housekeeping did an excellent job overall. If only meals could be improved further—I would love to stay again. Spending one night left me thirsty due to limited drink options; combined with difficulty accessing desired foods and distant convenience stores made it exhausting overall—hence my two-star rating out of five stars despite how lovely and clean your rooms are! I'm hopeful for further improvements in these areas moving forward!

    I was very satisfied again this time.

    I first stayed in August and had such a great experience that I visited again in September. The view of the Kiso River, the breakfast, and the large public bath are all wonderful, but what I love the most is the hospitality of the staff. Everyone is friendly, polite, and welcoming, making the stay very comfortable. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at again and again.

    Premium Twin Room with Breakfast and View of National Treasure Inuyama Castle

    It was truly a wonderful stay. The room and interior were cute and functional. We had a view of Inuyama Castle and the Kiso River. The Onsen was amazing. The gym had a lovely woody design. Breakfast was delicious as well. Inuyama Ukai was just a 7-minute walk from the hotel, which was perfect. Every aspect of this place is beautiful. I will visit again for sure. Thank you very much!
