    Laundry facilities are conveniently available.

    This was my third stay. My spouse and I have stayed twice before, and we love the great location, the convenience of the laundry facilities, and how comfortable the in-room chairs are. This time, I stayed with my elementary-school-aged child. When traveling with a child, waiting for an available washer or dryer can be a major time loss, so having laundry machines on every floor is extremely helpful. However, this time there seemed to be many users relative to the number of Rooms, and it felt more competitive than before. Overall, most guests were calm and considerate, so we could relax even during meals. On the other hand, the bathroom was a bit inconvenient to use, and the floor felt slippery, so extra care is needed. Also, something I wonder about each time: why is my Room number checked when using the lounge? Since I believe the elevators require a room key to operate anyway, being asked to state my Room number verbally makes me slightly concerned from a security and privacy standpoint. That said, overall this is a Hotel I’m very satisfied with. Next time we plan to stay again as a couple in December. Thank you in advance.

    Wonderful

    We stayed on Friday and Saturday, and we could see fireworks right from our Room, which really excited the kids. The Room was spacious, well cleaned, and spotless. The Hotel staff’s hospitality was excellent, and we definitely want to stay again the next time we visit Okinawa. The pool isn’t large, but it was clean, with an ocean view—perfect.

    I might stay here again.

    There were a few issues, but the location was great and it was an enjoyable stay. Regardless of the lounge quality, I think it would be better if the hours were a bit longer. Also, I’m not sure about closing poolside access in the evening before sunset. I have various complaints, but there aren’t many Hotels that I feel are worth returning to for me. That said, I can’t deny that the location carries significant weight. I hope my next visit will be an even better stay.

    I’d stay here again if I visit Chatan again.

    This was my first overnight stay in Chatan, where I usually only spend a few hours. It’s just a few minutes on foot from American Village, and even though it rained, I still had a great time. I enjoyed the delicious steak at Kinmatsu that was recommended for dinner. I had breakfast at the Hotel, and I was happy with the wide variety of options. Both the facilities and the room were clean, and all the staff were kind and courteous—this is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

    The Best Hotel Ever

    The Room is spacious, well soundproofed, and exceptionally clean, with high-quality amenities including pajamas and slippers. Each floor has free washing machines and dryers, and laundry can be washed and dried in about 40–50 minutes, which is extremely convenient. The highlight is the breakfast—please try it for yourself; it is truly blissful. The staff also provide impeccable hospitality. This is a Hotel you will be genuinely glad you stayed at.

    Second stay

    This was my first stay in four years. Last time I had a Harbor View; this time I stayed on the American Village side. The neon lights at night were beautiful, and I could see the ocean—it was fantastic. One concern was that the bathroom and Room were dark. I would appreciate it if the lighting could be adjusted. Also, it took a while for the hot water to come out. The L-size loungewear was small, and the next size up was surprisingly large. The difference between sizes was much bigger than expected. In the lounge, the coffee machine tended to show errors, and the milk ran out quickly, so I had to call staff each time. Overall, I was satisfied and would definitely like to stay again.

    We had a relaxing staycation.

    This time, I booked a Saturday stay to fully enjoy my time at the Hotel! After arriving, I left my luggage and went out for lunch and to pick up things for the evening. From late afternoon, I enjoyed wonderful live music in the lounge and lobby. At night, I had a great view of the fireworks from my Room and was very satisfied. I was also happy to be able to stay in the same Room again. I would love to stay here again.

    I had a great impres...

    I had a great impression when I stayed before, so I came back again this time. With its private feel, I was able to relax comfortably in both the Room and the lounge, and overall I was very satisfied. Having access to a washing machine and dryer was also very convenient and really helped during my stay. However, on the last day, the sound of (a child?) running around upstairs continued for a long time and was quite bothersome. It depends on the Room layout and other guests, so it’s not the Hotel’s fault, but being able to spend time quietly was part of what I found appealing, so that was the only disappointing point.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    We chose this Accommodation as part of our honeymoon and stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. We were satisfied on both days. When we asked to leave our luggage on the morning of the first day, they kindly accepted it. Although the Room was being cleaned and we couldn’t enter yet, they still allowed us to check in. Thanks to that, when we returned from sightseeing in the evening, we were shown to our Room right away, which made everything so easy. They also offered us a welcome drink, and we felt their hospitality was excellent. We chose a harbor-view Room, and the view was beautiful both day and night—it was truly relaxing. Watching boats floating on the blue sea felt wonderfully out of the ordinary. The female staff member in the lounge at night was also very pleasant. She was fun to talk with and taught us many things about Okinawa—she was truly wonderful. She also recommended an affiliated restaurant; it had a wide selection of craft beers, and both the drinks and food were delicious. We’re really grateful. For breakfast there were several main dishes to choose from; I chose Agu pork bacon, which came as a large steak-like cut with sweet fat that wasn’t heavy at all—very tasty. People may see things differently, but I was extremely satisfied. It made for a great Okinawa chapter of our honeymoon. *Please note: The pool is not available at night.*

    American Village and the Sunset

    I visit Okinawa every year, but this was my first time staying at a Hotel near American Village. The harbor-view twin room was slightly small, but it didn’t feel cramped, and the bathroom in particular was spacious and comfortable. From 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, you can enjoy snacks and wine at the rooftop restaurant. Everything was delicious, so we enjoyed it casually, then took a walk around American Village and were able to see a beautiful sunset—our first night in Okinawa was perfect. For breakfast, you choose one main dish and the rest is buffet-style. When I asked for a recommendation, they suggested steak, so I had it in the morning—but it felt a bit heavy for an older person. All of the staff were very friendly and kind. We had a memorable and comfortable stay, and I’m truly grateful.

    It used to be perfect, but…

    I regret including this in my itinerary. I have stayed here several times and was always satisfied, so I visited again after a while, but it was very disappointing. The service quality has dropped significantly: the lounge staff were absorbed in chatting with each other, and the pool staff were visibly on their smartphones the whole time. Honestly, it was discouraging. Spills and stains on chairs in the lounge were not cleaned up, and there were many insects such as ants. As others have mentioned here and there, it feels like it has become more of a Business Hotel than before—in a negative way. I truly feel disappointed because I used to think this was a great Accommodation.

    Enjoy a sophisticated, relaxing stay.

    I have stayed many times at other Terrace Hotels and at Moon Beach, but this was my first time here. Our Room was upgraded, and we were able to relax in a spacious Room with a friend. The lounge was also large, the meals and snacks were delicious, and all the Hotel staff were very pleasant—true to the Terrace style—so we felt very relaxed. However, since the water temperature is still low this season, I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a jacuzzi nearby, as it would have made the pool more enjoyable.

    It was clean and comfortable.

    Although we arrived at the Hotel just before the hors d’oeuvres and free drinks service ended, the front desk and restaurant staff coordinated well, allowing us to enjoy sparkling wine and more. The food was delicious, and the Hotel staff’s hospitality was excellent, so we had a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

    We had a luxurious time.

    I regret not staying for two nights. Although the weather was cloudy, I had a satisfying time. I arrived quite early, but the staff welcomed me with a smile and kindly guided me to my room. The room this time was exactly on the floor and facing the direction I wanted as seen on the website, so I was very satisfied! It was perfect. Since it wasn’t during winter break, I could use a large table alone in the club lounge. The staff’s service with just the right amount of attentiveness felt very comfortable for me. However, I couldn’t figure out how to use the bathtub properly and couldn’t completely drain it, which made me feel sorry! I will definitely stay again in the future.

    Being new, it is overall clean and tidy. The view from the Room is excellent. The content of the club lounge is average. It is a bit far from the center of American Village.

    A reliable and welcoming Hotel you'll want to stay at again.

    This was my second stay, and I felt comfortable and secure again. Due to circumstances, I could only stay for one night this time, but it was very cozy. I would love to book a Multiple Night Stay next time!

    Stayed at the accommodation for two consecutive New Year holidays.

    Stayed for 3 days. A higher-grade stay offers a precious place to spend time quietly. The staff were very kind, and live jazz performances in the 1st-floor lobby added charm. The lovely lady at the bar counter, whom I meet every year, had a wonderful smile. This is a luxurious condominium for adults to enjoy the best moments.

    Excellent!

    We booked a connecting room for our family of four during the New Year holidays and had a very relaxing stay. The number of guest rooms was just right, and the staff were all polite, cheerful, and excellent. The amenities were well-equipped, and the security was reliable. The jazz performance at the end of the year and the calligrapher's calendar gift at the beginning of the year were thoughtful touches that we appreciated. The food and drinks in the club lounge were delicious, making us stay longer than planned and enjoy plenty. We look forward to visiting again in another season. Thank you very much!

    We stayed for 3 nigh...

    We stayed for 3 nights with our family and had a wonderful time. The accommodation was very comfortable, and we definitely want to stay here again! We appreciated the warm greetings from the staff at all times.

    Room wear

    A modern impression accommodation It is clean, but it lacked the resort-like atmosphere found in accommodations in Onna Village or Nago. Disappointing points: Room wear and bathrobe At the front desk, I was told, "The gauze material shrinks easily, so please let us know if the size feels small," but I was shocked. The size felt tight—possibly due to shrinkage—with lint all over and a grayish color. It didn’t feel clean, so I didn’t wear it. As for the bathrobe, its length left the lower body exposed. Was this meant for children? It was surprising. Considering the Accommodation Fee, the room wear seemed subpar and should be improved. After seeing room wear full of lint, my perception of this otherwise clean accommodation became slightly negative regarding cleanliness.

    Wonderful Hotel

    This is my second stay following last year. Every year from November to December, I take a relaxing trip to warm Okinawa with a friend as a reward for working hard throughout the year. Last year, we stayed at this Hotel, and my friend was extremely pleased with the high quality of service. They even thanked me for choosing this Hotel. As mentioned in other Reviews, the ocean view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, and watching fireworks right in front of us brought childlike excitement. Breakfast under the bright morning sunlight was also very satisfying. Last year, I struggled with using the bathroom facilities, but this time there were instructions provided which were very helpful. A staff member who assisted us last year remembered us and greeted us warmly by saying, "Thank you for staying with us again this year! How have you been?" It felt like meeting an old friend after a long time. I’ve written about various impressions here but overall feel that I’ve found a truly wonderful Hotel!

    For an Adult Getaway Stay

    I stayed at MB Chatan for the first time, though I love The Busena Terrace. I stayed for 3 nights with a friend. It’s conveniently located about an hour from the airport and right next to Mihama Village, so there’s no trouble finding food or shopping. Parking is free (which is rare these days). When we checked in at 2 PM, we were greeted with a welcome drink—a craft beer from one of their affiliated restaurants! I chose a compact room type, which was sufficient. However, since the bathroom and toilet are not separate, it was slightly inconvenient when traveling with a friend. The open-style design gives a sense of spaciousness but ultimately led us to keep the blinds down most of the time. Amenities included L'Occitane products—everything from cleansing items for morning and night to brushes, toothbrushes, cotton pads, shower caps, body towels—all fully stocked without any inconvenience. Even the built-in shampoo and conditioner were L'Occitane's Verbena series! My friend was thrilled about having an extension mirror as well. All rooms come with club services: on Day 1 we enjoyed snack time at 4 PM (ham, nuts, dried fruits, marinated dishes), while on Day 2 there was sweets time starting at 2 PM (the scones were amazing; along with pudding and cookies paired with coffee or tea—it delayed our dinner!). The staff were very friendly and engaging in conversation. On Saturday evening there was live jazz music in the lobby followed by fireworks right in front of the pool. For breakfast: while Western options like bacon were delicious overall portions felt small; so I ended up ordering Japanese-style breakfast twice instead. Aside from main dishes though there’s also a buffet offering various fruits salads bread etc., which should suffice unless you have a big appetite! Soups changed daily too—clam chowder minestrone both tasted great. Since it wasn’t peak season prices were affordable making this accommodation highly satisfying!

    Various points of interest

    Facility: It takes some time for hot water to come out, but everything else is good. Breakfast: The taste is not very good. The bread is not tasty either. For Japanese-style meals, soy sauce would be appreciated. It might be better to focus more on breakfast rather than other time-limited services. Other: The size difference between XL and L room wear is too significant.

    Enjoy a relaxing stay for adults.

    Chatan, where American Village is located, has a casual vibe, but just a 10-minute walk south brings you to the area where the Hotel is situated, offering a more serene atmosphere. The experienced front desk staff, live performances in the lobby on weekends, beautifully displayed art pieces throughout the property, and shops all reflect the signature quality of Terrace Hotels. The shop features items from Rogers, a charming and long-established import select shop in Koza, showcasing excellent taste. The food and desserts at the Club Lounge were delicious. On Saturday nights, you can enjoy fireworks over the ocean from the terrace in front of the lounge. Each floor has washing machines and dryers available for use with detergent provided in your Room—very convenient. Both the building and service strike a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, creating a relaxing and luxurious space.

    Completely satisfied with everything.

    The location, L'Occitane amenities, infinity pool, evening cocktail service in the lounge for all guests, and the breakfast menu and portions were all highly satisfying. It was better than the nearby large hotels. I would love to stay here again when visiting Chatan.

    This was a Hotel I had been curious about for a long time. It exceeded my expectations. The layout felt like an apartment unit. Amenities were well-equipped. I enjoyed the resort in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, American Village is within walking distance, allowing you to experience a lively ambiance as well. For breakfast, we chose different main dishes for each family member; all were delicious, satisfying, and generously portioned. Although it was just a one-night stay this time, it was such a comfortable Hotel that I wished to stay longer.

    Enjoyed a staycation at the Hotel during summer vacation.

    We stayed at the accommodation during our family summer vacation. This is the fourth hotel we've visited operated by Terrace Hotel. The new hotel features an impressive infinity pool, and since it was the weekend, there was a jazz live performance in the lobby. We also enjoyed watching Chatan's fireworks from the lounge terrace, making it a highly satisfying stay! The lounge offers cocktail time from 4 PM to 6 PM, which is slightly early, but the snacks were plentiful—especially the plump shrimp. And for sparkling wine, they served Champagne! For dinner, there are various restaurants in Chatan within walking distance, so we dined out while enjoying a relaxing stay-in experience. During the day, we leisurely spent time at the less crowded infinity pool and enjoyed our room's bath with a view and large bathtub for ultimate relaxation. This is definitely a hotel we'd love to visit again during off-season!

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    A modern Hotel with plenty of art pieces, a beautiful courtyard design, and a stylish yet convenient atmosphere. The bathroom was lovely, the Room had a unified design theme, and even plates were provided, making it easy to enjoy meals brought in. It was highly praised by my accompanying family. The club services were excellent. After visiting Yomitan (a 20-minute drive from the Hotel), we relaxed at the Hotel and enjoyed the club services. Although we didn’t go there ourselves, American Village is within walking distance. From the Hotel, you can see the harbor and ocean; on our visit day with fireworks, the view from poolside was spectacular. The washing machine was handy to use, ice was easily accessible nearby—overall very practical. One downside: The Room lighting is too dim! Not for ambiance but purely due to insufficient brightness—it felt slightly stressful. Adding desk lamps or side lights would be helpful. Overall though, it’s an amazing Hotel where you can experience a touch of overseas vibes!
