    A clean Hotel

    The Hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. I stayed in a twin room, which was very tidy, and I appreciated that the toilet and bathroom were separate. Even though it was a weekend, the rate with breakfast included was lower than other hotels, and I enjoyed a Japanese set breakfast that was beautifully presented and just the right portion size. Overall, it was a very satisfying Hotel, and I would like to stay again.

    Accommodation primarily chosen for dinner tempura on almost every stay.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my stay this time as well. The seasonal mushrooms were delicious, but the anago from Miyagi seemed even tastier than the Edo-style ones. I look forward to staying here again if I have the chance.

    This is the first hotel I am staying at during my first visit to Yamagata Prefecture.

    A trip to Yamagata Prefecture for the first time as a couple. The hotel is in an excellent location, within a 5-minute walk from Yamagata Station. The room feels brand new, likely due to recent renovations. We arrived two hours before check-in and left our luggage at the hotel. When we asked for nearby dining recommendations, we were advised to visit "Soba-dokoro Tsurufuku." We went there immediately and truly enjoyed the delicious meal as recommended. As for the room, we were pleasantly surprised by amenities such as "ReFa" shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Additionally, women receive a complimentary set of Mikimoto amenities (a set of five items). Depending on the room type, there is also a Nespresso capsule coffee maker available. The quality is impressive! Although we initially booked without breakfast included, seeing the Japanese menu made us want to try it—and it was worth it at 2,200 yen! The breakfast features representative ingredients from Yamagata and offers great value. With its convenient location near the station, clean rooms with spacious twin beds, and delicious food options nearby—this hotel comes highly recommended!

    A small Hotel with exceptional hospitality

    This was my second stay, and it was just as comfortable as the first. I was impressed that the female staff member at the front desk remembered my name from my previous visit and greeted me when I went out. Even for a small hotel, this level of service reflects their consistent efforts. The guest room had been renovated and was very comfortable. For meals, I enjoyed Japanese cuisine on the first day and Western cuisine on the second day—both were delicious. Including "Imoni" with Western dishes is a nice touch that reflects Yamagata's local charm. While I've stayed at large hotels near the station before, I've decided to make this accommodation my regular choice in Yamagata City since my last visit. Thank you again for your excellent service!

    It was excellent!

    Close to the station, with few rooms, making it easy to come and go, and quiet for a comfortable stay. I chose the Japanese-style breakfast, which included many small dishes and was very delicious. Although there is no large public bath, the bathroom in the Room is separate from the toilet, making it convenient to use.

    A wonderful Hotel available at Business Hotel prices

    I stayed here with no meals included as a base for sightseeing in Yamagata. The hotel had high ratings, so I had high expectations, and it turned out to be even better than expected. First, the room was spacious with luxurious furniture, making it very comfortable. There was a convenient desk, perfect for business trips or remote work. The sink area was large and exceptionally clean. Although the bath was not an Onsen, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, it was separate from the toilet and very clean. The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were from ReFa, which was a pleasant surprise. The towels were as fluffy as those in luxury hotels and felt great to use. Please note that the toilet and sink area are slightly elevated compared to the rest of the room—something to be mindful of. There are plenty of restaurants near Yamagata Station, so even without meals included you won’t have trouble finding food options nearby. Being close to the station makes it convenient after a long day of sightseeing; you can return to relax in its spaciousness and cleanliness effortlessly! Highly recommended for those who prioritize cost performance over Onsen access but want to enjoy various day-use Onsens around!

    The room was clean, ...

    The room was clean, compact, and user-friendly, making for a comfortable stay. However, the front desk staff lacked warmth in their service, which was disappointing. I stay at various accommodations across the whole country about 2-3 times a month, ranging from luxury ryokans to business hotels. Recently, many business hotels provide very pleasant customer service, and perhaps I have become too accustomed to that standard. Nevertheless, I found this experience quite disappointing.

    Yamagata Ichikamo

    The tempura dinner course took 3 hours to enjoy, and it was very fulfilling. The Room's bath is a standalone type, spacious and clean. The windows are large with perfect blackout features.

    I was surprised.

    From the outside, it may look like an ordinary business hotel, but once you step into the Room, everything is exceptional. The tempura dinner is a must-try. Considering the cost-performance ratio, I would give it 99 points.

    The tempura course was exceptionally delicious.

    The meal during my previous stay was excellent, so I decided to visit again. The tempura is truly delicious and worth revisiting just for this. Looking forward to my next visit!

    Great value for money

    Reasonably priced. About a 7-minute walk from the left side of Yamagata Station East Exit. Single room; comfortable space and not too small. The Ryokan is next to an expressway and railway line, but it wasn’t noisy for me—once the windows are closed, it’s very quiet. Breakfast is a set meal with a beautiful Japanese-style presentation, but unfortunately it was overall a bit salty. The beef and vegetable soup was very good to drink.
