We had a relaxing New Year holiday.
We stayed here for an Onsen trip over the 2025–26 New Year holidays. On New Year’s Eve, after a delicious dinner, we enjoyed traditional year-end soba noodles. After having osechi at breakfast on New Year’s Day, we relaxed in our Room and took turns visiting the private baths, enjoying a peaceful and restful holiday. At dinner on the second night, however, the guests at the next table were a bit noisy, which bothered us and made it hard to fully enjoy our meal. While private dining Rooms may be difficult to arrange, adding partitions between tables in the dining area would create more privacy and make it easier to enjoy the excellent food.

Thank you very much for staying with us and for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We also sincerely apologize for the delay in our response. Thank you again for choosing to spend the important New Year holiday season with us. We are delighted to hear that you were able to relax and enjoy Toshikoshi soba, osechi on New Year’s Day, your stay in your Room, and our private bath. It is truly our greatest pleasure to know that you were able to spend a peaceful New Year with your family. On the other hand, we sincerely apologize that during dinner on your second night, the surrounding environment prevented you from fully enjoying your meal. We regret that we caused you discomfort when we should have provided a pleasant dining experience. Thank you as well for your valuable suggestion regarding partitions between tables. We will take it into consideration as an area for future improvement in creating a more comfortable space. We are pleased to share that our Accommodation will reopen after renovation in June 2026 as “Gensen Ichizu Minamiizu”. Using the feedback we have received, we are renewing both our Facility features and services with the aim of becoming an even more satisfying Accommodation. If you have another opportunity, we would be grateful if you would visit us again at our newly renewed property. We look forward to welcoming you again.
