Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Sapporo

This is my go-to Accommodation for my annual trips to Sapporo! On the first night, I stayed in a Corner Twin for the first time. The windows were large, and I had a pleasant view with the Hokkaido Government Office building right in front of me—perfect for relaxing with drinks in the Room. On the second night, since my child was Child Sharing Existing Bedding, we chose a Superior Double. The window was smaller and it felt even more compact, but it was still very functional. There was also an ice machine on the top floor, and perhaps as part of Superior perks there were bath salts provided as well, which was a nice touch. At check-in, the male staff member at reception had no expression and his service was disappointing—neither good nor bad overall. However, the male staff member at check-out was very pleasant, so I’ll call it even (lol). And what I especially recommend is breakfast. There is a wide variety of dishes with many local items, and everything—Japanese or Western—is high quality. All of the staff are friendly and it feels great. The salted bread that wasn’t available last year was delicious, so I hope you keep offering it! The only disappointment was that the breakfast crowding status shown on the in-room TV didn’t match reality. It showed “not busy,” so we went then—but there were actually 30 groups waiting. After getting my young child excited and taking them there, having to bring them back to the Room and manage their bad mood was frustrating... Still, the large public bath is very clean; we received a full set of children’s amenities for Child Sharing Existing Bedding at the front desk; there are Sekkisei amenities; and needless to say, the location is excellent... Overall, this trip once again reminded me that in Sapporo it’s Solaria all the way for me. I’m looking forward to planning another trip so we can come again next year.

This was my third stay.This time, I stayed for an extended period while changing Rooms.When I entered the Room, it was extremely quiet with excellent soundproofing, which was great.Also, the breakfast selection is plentiful, and you can fully enjoy the flavors of Hokkaido.The location is also convenient—Odori Park and Sapporo Station are within walking distance, and you can go out to eat without needing a car.That said, I have one request and one question.First, my request: regarding breakfast, it was a bit disappointing that the menu did not change from day to day.I assume many guests are on a Multiple Night Stay, so I would appreciate it if there could be even small changes each day.Next, my question: this time I stayed on the 14th floor as well as other floors, and the 14th floor was clearly of a higher grade.Only the 14th floor had Imari ware cups and a Nestlé machine, and even the hair dryer was of a higher level.Since there does not appear to be a designated club floor, I would be happy if other floors could be made similar to the 14th floor in the future.I would like to stay with you again when visiting Sapporo.
