  It was a wonderful stay.

  From check-in to check-out, the guidance was always pleasant, and questions were answered accurately, with everything I wanted to know being promptly addressed on the spot. The meals were so delicious that I ended up eating too much both in the morning and evening. All the meals were related to Iga and Mie, and I was satisfied, thinking that travel is indeed about the food. The property and the check-in facility were about a seven-minute walk apart, but it was actually good as I could walk off the overeating. I also enjoyed lunch and souvenirs at a discount using the coupons I received. This is a recommended stay for those who love castles and castle towns. I want to come again and try staying at other facilities too.

  No doubt

  Following Hiroshima, I also stayed at Iga Ueno. I requested the in-room drinking set, which was originally scheduled for after dinner, to be brought earlier, and they promptly accommodated my request. I was able to enjoy a relaxing time with the drinks I had been looking forward to. Both the meals and the facilities were excellent. The portion sizes, which I usually find too much, were just right. The bath is not a hot spring and you have to fill it yourself, so I rated it 3 stars. If possible, I would love to visit again.

  Perfect for a hotel stay.

  We were upgraded to room 201! The exterior already lifted our spirits, and the atmosphere beyond the noren and in the room was wonderful, clean, and very lovely, allowing us to relax without any inconvenience. The bath had a spacious cypress tub, and since it took some time to fill, I recommend starting the water early. You can access the courtyard, and it was nice that insect repellent sprays (for the space and for the skin) were provided. We had both dinner and breakfast, and they used a lot of Iga ingredients and products from nearby shops, allowing us to fully enjoy Iga! It was a happy time enjoying delicious meals while gazing at the courtyard. The dining venue was about a 5-minute walk, so we strolled there, but it seems they also offer a shuttle service. The room's refrigerator had alcoholic and soft drinks available for free, and you could also bring snacks and such back to the room as an additional option, so we had a fulfilling time even after finishing our meals at night. The attentiveness of the staff also helped, making it a comfortable hotel stay. We went without a car, so we transferred between the Shinkansen, train, and bus, but it was a hotel that made us glad we went. I would like to try using it in another prefecture as well.
