    Relax and unwind.

    With Hotel rates rising these days, I hadn’t had many chances to stay, but with my birthday coming up I visited again for the first time in a while. Lately, many Hotels seem busy with inbound travelers, and it’s often hard to receive Diamond member benefits, so I was truly happy that they provided them here even though the Hotel was nearly full. The Room was just as before—very clean, with large windows and a great view. It felt like a unit in a luxury apartment building, and I was able to relax completely. The service was excellent and made me want to stay for as many nights as possible. I can’t visit often, but I hope to come again soon. Thank you very much.

    Good Hotel

    As soon as I entered the Hotel, a woman with black-rimmed glasses welcomed me, and check-in was very kind and pleasant. The explanations were clear, there was a welcome drink, and compared to a luxury hotel the staff felt more approachable—everyone was great. With the all-inclusive plan, the minibar was free and there were snacks too, which was excellent. The male staff at the rooftop bar was also friendly and easy to talk to, which I really appreciated. The amenities and bathroom were also very good. It’s a comfortable Hotel that I’d definitely recommend. I couldn’t try the pancakes or Japanese breakfast this time, so I’m looking forward to it next time. It was a truly pleasant Hotel stay.

    This Hotel is exceptionally comfortable.

    The staff were all kind, courteous, and attentive. The atmosphere at the 4th-floor café was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped the Room and minibar were. I would definitely like to visit again.

    Because we were staying as a group of three, the sofa had been made up as a bed, but it would have been better if an extra chair had been provided. We only used the breakfast buffet, but we would have liked a few more options to choose from.

    Stay for a Family Trip

    This was my first stay here, and it was extremely satisfying. I stayed at Shangri-La the day before, but this exceeded my expectations (of course, I also like Shangri-La). Every staff member I met provided impeccable service, and it felt truly pleasant. They kindly accommodated a Room upgrade and late check-out as well, making it a genuinely fulfilling stay. The complimentary minibar was great, and personally I especially loved the bathroom. With the upgrade there was also laundry available, so I could do my washing—overall I was truly satisfied. Although I often stay at Shangri-La, Palace, or Ritz, I would like to recommend this place to friends as well. Sitting in the Room’s arflex chair, enjoying minibar drinks and snacks while reading—it was absolutely wonderful!! Thank you very much!!

    Unfortunately, one disappointment followed another.

    I stayed at this Accommodation on my birthday. 1. A card had been prepared in my husband’s name rather than mine. 2. I wanted to visit a museum but wasn’t sure which direction to go, so I asked which side of the road would be best to catch a taxi from. I was told they could call a taxi for me, so I left it to them. I appreciated the kindness, but at checkout an additional dispatch fee of 700 yen was added. At Hotel Okura, which I use often, I have never been charged a dispatch fee, so this surprised me. If there would be an extra fee, I wish you had mentioned it in advance. 3. My Room was upgraded as part of the Diamond member benefit (I think). From the corner Room, Aoyama Cemetery was on the right and a baseball stadium straight ahead. However, there was a large TV placed on the stadium side in front of the bed and sofa, blocking the view. Since we value the view more than watching TV, this was disappointing. 4. The person who escorted us to our Room was very pleasant. In the elevator they asked why we were staying; when I said it was for my birthday, they said they would give me a Bellcomo coupon and encouraged me to go there. After arriving at our Room, I went to the front desk about it. Perhaps it was misinformation or a misunderstanding—the staff member seemed to be scolded by an older female colleague—so it became awkward and I quietly let it go. After that no one followed up; perhaps I misheard. 5. There was a very vague letter in the Room saying that those who wished to use something at a special rate should contact them. When I asked what it meant, I was told it referred to Diamond member restaurant discounts. During verbal explanations they always prefaced it with “because you are an IKY Diamond member,” so at first I didn’t understand what they were referring to; it would be clearer if all benefits were summarized in writing instead. The restaurant we planned to use for lunch the next day unfortunately could not be used either because the entire facility had been reserved exclusively. 6.The pajamas felt great and were very comfortable to sleep in, but there was a brown stain near the chest area; since it was late at night and contacting staff felt like too much trouble then, we let it go. 7 Only one bath salt packet had been provided; since one of us used it and enjoyed a relaxing bath, we wanted another for my husband and also hoped for another bath in the morning as well—so we called requesting two additional packets—but were told only one could be provided, which was disappointing. None of these are major issues individually, but since this stay was meant as an anniversary celebration that we had looked forward to, these things left us feeling unsettled. The complimentary drinks in our Room were plentiful and appreciated.

    A Hotel where you can enjoy your stay

    Everything—from the Room and the staff to the meals—made us want to come back. The Room was truly stylish, with each item carefully selected, and we really enjoyed it; it was so relaxing that it hardly felt like we were in the city. When we mentioned at the front desk that we were staying for a birthday, they kindly prepared a birthday dessert plate at Rossi on the 20th floor and even wrote a message on a plate at breakfast, which made us very happy. We would definitely love to visit again.

    Perfect for watching a game at Jingu Stadium

    I stayed here recently while attending a baseball game at nearby Jingu Stadium. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from Gaienmae Station—and it was great to be able to leave my luggage at the Hotel and head to the stadium hands-free. The complimentary upgrade for IKYU Diamond members was not offered this time, so I assumed it wasn’t available due to high occupancy. As for the view, perhaps because I booked a Superior Queen, it wasn’t particularly impressive. The window isn’t very large, and there is an inaccessible balcony in front of it, so if you care about the view, I recommend reserving a higher room category or making a request in advance. There was one issue during my stay: after returning from the game, I wanted to rewatch it (something I often do) using DAZN on the smart TV app in the Room, but either the TV or the DAZN app had not been updated and it wouldn’t work. When I called the front desk for help, they initially said they couldn’t address it right away. However, about three hours later they informed me they had updated another Room so that DAZN would work there and kindly offered to let me use that Room instead. I truly appreciated this thoughtful solution. That Room seemed to be a Standard Garden Queen (a downgrade from my Superior Queen), so they told me I could use both my original Room and the new one. Their service was excellent and made me very happy. (That said, my plan of “back by around 9 p.m., watch three hours of baseball footage, sleep by midnight” turned into “DAZN available from midnight,” which would have meant sleeping at 3 a.m.—not realistic—so I ended up watching only part of it.) For reference, although I didn’t personally use it much, Hulu also wasn’t updated and couldn’t be used. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, U-NEXT YouTube,and AbemaTV were available. I’ve experienced occasional issues before at ORIENT in Kobe as well (such as no sound from the TV), so while their visible checklists seem thorough,the behind-the-scenes checks may be lacking.I’m grateful for how well staff handled things,but it did make me wonder whether PDS Hotel Group’s overall maintenance standards are consistent,and left me slightly uneasy about what to expect going forward. Overall,I think this Hotel is worth considering for anyone coming to watch games at Jingu Stadium or nearby fields.

    This was my third stay. Once again, I had a comfortable time in a lovely Room. The iced matcha oat latte I had in the morning at Belcomo was very delicious.

    The Japanese set breakfast featuring fermented foods is exquisite.

    The stylish interior, well-stocked minibar, and the staff’s pleasant communication were just as described in the Reviews. The bath amenities were also high quality, with clear attention to detail. For breakfast, I chose the Japanese set meal over the buffet, and it was outstanding. I truly appreciated the gently flavored dishes centered around fermented foods. This has become one of the Hotels I’d love to return to.

    The Room, meals, and location are all convenient; the only disappointment was the weeds in the courtyard.

    Right outside Gaienmae Station—very convenient location. All the in-house restaurants looked delicious. Since this is not a cheap Hotel, the food quality is high. However, perhaps due to work-style reforms, if you arrive after 9:00 p.m., Room service and last orders at the restaurants are already finished, so you end up buying food at the Seijo Ishii right in front. Surprisingly, there aren’t many nearby places where you can grab a quick meal. If you plan to enjoy dining in a pricey Room with a great view, you need to check in early. Arriving late thinking “there will be something” can be tough—please note this. I’d like this clearly stated on the website. The free minibar was helpful. For the Room rate, there weren’t particularly expensive drinks included, but at least it meant no need to go out shopping. I was surprised that the courtyard visible from the elevator hall was full of weeds. Can’t they just open a window from inside and quickly pull them out? Maybe it’s difficult because it’s behind glass, but paying a high Room rate and then looking out over a weedy courtyard is disappointing. As someone who enjoys gardening, I wanted to pull them out immediately. Breakfast was excellent: the restaurant is stylish, the menu is well thought out and high level, portions are just right, and the coffee was very good. There was no line to get in, there were few loud or ill-mannered foreign guests, and the atmosphere was pleasant—calm and relaxing. I was very satisfied and would come back just for breakfast. If you have a busy schedule and don’t need the pool/sauna/spa—just sleep and enjoy breakfast—I think this place is ideal.

    I stayed here on a business trip to Tokyo. The vintage atmosphere of the Room is very comfortable, and it’s a Hotel that makes you want to stay longer. All the staff are friendly and leave a great impression. I also appreciate being able to receive a Room upgrade with the Diamond benefits.

    Value for money

    Recently, partly due to inbound tourism, accommodation rates at hotels in central Tokyo have been soaring. This Hotel is no exception: the listed price on booking sites is around JPY 120,000 (Superior Queen; about JPY 80,000 with advance payment after a JPY 40,000 discount). Whether that feels expensive depends on the person. Some guests may look for value in luxurious furnishings, premium amenities, and a spacious front desk with an upscale atmosphere. The biggest selling point of this Hotel is the quality of its hospitality. Many of the staff are still young and at times their service etiquette felt a little inexperienced, but everyone works with a genuine spirit of “omotenashi.” As the team gains experience, I believe the service will become even better. I had a very comfortable stay. One thing I did notice was room service and the food itself; I hope to see improvements in quality, including presentation.

    This was my third stay. It reaffirmed that this Hotel is my go-to choice for a Tokyo stay. Everything exceeded my expectations. If friends ask me for a Hotel recommendation in Tokyo, I will definitely recommend this one. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

    Parking

    I was shocked by the parking attendant’s behavior, which was not what I would expect from a top-class Hotel. When I pulled up to the drop-off area to pick up a guest, I was told to leave because parking there was not allowed. When I said I only needed to wait for 10 minutes, I was told they would check with the front desk. Despite plenty of open spaces, the attendant insisted this was “their” area and that I had to do as they said. After this experience, I don’t think I will use this Hotel again.\nFor reference, we were using three Rooms under my Reservation that day.

    Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Tokyo.

    I stayed in a 19th-floor corner suite and never expected such a breathtaking panoramic view of Tokyo. Above all, watching the sunrise rise behind Tokyo Tower right in front of me is a treasure I will cherish for a lifetime!

    A very relaxing Room

    This was my third stay. Once again, I was upgraded to a wonderful Room with Diamond benefits! The message card left in the Room was addressed to someone else (an English name), so it seemed the reservation had been changed at the last minute. Because of that, I was a little disappointed that the complimentary sweets and hair care amenities I had been looking forward to were not there. I really like the hair care amenities and would like to purchase them, but I don’t know where they are sold. I mentioned this because I truly wanted them again this time, and although it felt a bit forward, they kindly brought them to me. Thank you very much. At this Hotel, everyone—from the entrance staff to the restaurant team and housekeeping—welcomes guests with a smile, making for a very pleasant stay. This time I couldn’t wake up in time and missed breakfast, but last time the fermented rice dish kept me feeling great all day. I will visit again.

    This time, there were no major issues, and the points I mentioned previously have been significantly improved. However, there are still a few concerns that I would like to address in comparison to last time. 1. Regarding the shuttle service at Haneda Airport: Last time, the driver was not waiting at the exit, but this time they were holding a placard as per regulations. The shuttle car was an Alphard; however, last time it was an older model with torn armrests. This time it was a new model and very comfortable. That said, the shuttle car from the hotel was an older model with broken seat heaters and missing window blinds, which made it too bright inside. While using an older model is acceptable, proper maintenance is essential. The driver did apologize for this issue. 2. Regarding room facilities: The sink drainage has improved since last time; bedside lighting no longer flickers; and there were no issues with TV internet connectivity either. However, although I didn’t mention this before—switching between shower modes in the bathroom is difficult; the bathtub faucet is inconveniently located; and turning on hot water at both sink faucets feels unusual compared to standard designs—all of which make water-related usability poor overall! Additionally confusing light switches remain problematic. 3 . Breakfast-wise improvements noted here too! Previously ordered via room-service cold-tasting meals disappointed greatly whereas dining directly atop-floor restaurant (20th floor) proved satisfying alternative instead! Forbes Traveler’s Guide lists only nine five-star accommodations within Tokyo such as Hotel Okura Palace-Hotel etc., yet Aoyama Grand-Hotel doesn’t even qualify under four-star category ratings unlike Booking-com where inclusion occurs amongst nearly hundred others locally alone thus lacking genuine status authenticity comparatively speaking despite similar pricing (~¥100k range shared). Hence unless airport-shuttle experiences improve further alongside value-for-money considerations better met otherwise unlikely revisiting above ¥10k thresholds personally-speaking conclusion drawn accordingly

    The Ultimate Staycation

    I visited to relax and enjoy the Room and rooftop bar. The front desk is not very noticeable, but the staff are attentive, making the experience stress-free. Their attention to detail and care made the waiting time pass quickly. I was looking forward to the rooftop bar as it was closed during my previous visit. It offered an extraordinary atmosphere that felt like being on an overseas trip, with delicious cocktails and food. The Room was comfortable, with a well-stocked free-flow service that elevated my mood. Breakfast, one of the highlights of my stay, maintained its high buffet quality this time as well, meeting expectations and leaving me satisfied. One area for improvement would be the water provided in the Room. The glass bottle with a metal pull-tab can be difficult to open; sometimes it breaks or feels like it might cut your fingers. I heard plastic bottles are provided when going out—if possible, I’d appreciate having those in the Room too. Overall, I had another satisfying stay this time! I'll definitely visit again!

    Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were very smooth, and the guidance to the room was extremely courteous. All the staff were very kind. The room upgrade as part of the Diamond Member benefits was greatly appreciated. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. The pajamas were also very comfortable to wear. Amenities were sufficient in quality. However, I noticed that the bathroom floor could be a bit slippery. The complimentary minibar exceeded expectations with its variety and generous selection of alcoholic beverages. Breakfast offered high-quality dishes, with pancakes and smoothies being particularly delicious. I would definitely like to use this accommodation again if I have another opportunity to stay in Tokyo.

    Stylish Urban Stay

    It was my first stay, but it turned out to be a comfortable experience. The room was high-sense and stylish with a great view—simply wonderful! The complimentary minibar offered more than enough with alcohol, soft drinks, and snacks. The staff were exceptionally hospitable and left a very positive impression. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet featuring carefully selected ingredients. I look forward to revisiting to try the dinner options, including tonkatsu and sushi, which I couldn't experience this time.

    Commitment to Quality

    A hotel with attention to detail, from the interior design to every single amenity. Very stylish. The target demographic seems to be in their 30s and 40s. Upon taking the elevator to the 4th floor, you’ll find a restaurant immediately, with reception located in one corner. The smooth service was satisfying even for someone impatient like me. I was amazed by the free food and drinks as shown in the photos. From wine, sake, brandy, beer to six bottles of water (both chilled and room temperature), along with carefully selected snacks—it was all very satisfying. As someone sensitive to room odors and temperature, I found it comfortable. The bed mattress and pillows were also excellent. Entering the room, I loved the view of the glass-walled bathroom and powder room—it lifted my spirits! This layout design is definitely my style. In terms of amenities, there were shampoo and conditioner (I forgot which brand but it had a refreshing scent) in addition to Oggi products—such thoughtful touches here too! The bathtub doesn’t have anti-slip features so do be cautious when using it. Regarding views: at night it wasn’t an issue but during daytime there’s a cemetery below which I tried not to look at. For this reason alone I rated satisfaction as 4 stars instead of full marks; however for being surrounded by buildings in central Tokyo it's still quite good overall! Hopefully construction next door won’t turn into another high-rise building. The beer & pasta served at their bar matched my preferences perfectly! Thanks also go towards soundproofing effects making conversations enjoyable without distractions from loud voices nearby—great ambiance! Perhaps due being Diamond Member status? Coupons plus welcome drink added extra hospitality points here too! Breakfast on top floor offered relaxed dining experience within limited seating restaurant space featuring unique menu items unlike other accommodations albeit fewer options yet still delightful selections such as curated yogurts/juices alongside artisanal bread/hams—not forgetting freshly made omelets tasting deliciously prepared fresh-to-order! Conveniently located near Gaienmae Station providing easy access Shibuya/Shinjuku/Ginza/Tokyo Station areas while having convenience stores along street adds practicality factor combined w/stylishness making future reservations likely challenging given popularity rising fast among travelers alike! Would love returning again soon—thank you very much for wonderful stay experience provided throughout entire visit duration!!

    Stylish Hotel

    This was my second stay, and this time I stayed alone. The Hotel has stylish Rooms, providing a wonderful space to relax. I especially liked that the bathroom and toilet are completely separate, and the bathroom is spacious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would love to stay here again.

    Both the restaurant and the rooms were wonderful.

    We stayed for 3 nights and were offered a Room upgrade. The amenities and glassware were stylish, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We could catch a glimpse of Tokyo Tower from the window, making our stay truly special. The restaurant was delicious—absolutely perfect! The staff greeted us with warm smiles, leaving us with wonderful memories! We would love to stay here again if we have the chance.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    This was my second stay. The free minibar and one drink service at Bell Como ensured I never lacked beverages. The Diamond benefits were plentiful, making the experience very satisfying. The Room felt as relaxing and comfortable as being at home. The bathrobe with a hood was adorable. Although the breakfast buffet had fewer options, everything was delicious, especially the French toast, which was exceptional. The staff were friendly and left a great impression. This is a Hotel I would love to revisit!
