    It was fun.

    A quiet setting and a calm atmosphere throughout the Hotel, plus a very delicious buffet and the Onsen—we really enjoyed it all! We were very satisfied! Thank you!

    The Perfect Vacation

    I had requested disability accommodations in advance, and the staff were very considerate in both the Room and the restaurant, which made my stay very comfortable. The food at the live kitchen was also delicious. However, our Room was near the entrance, and when we were on the terrace, we noticed smoke and odors coming from the smoking area. This depended on the wind direction.

    It was great!

    The Hotel itself was compact, making it easy to get around. I’m not a big fan of using elevators, so that was great. The staff’s service was excellent. The food was outstanding, right through to dessert. I’d love to come back again soon.

    An Accommodation Where You’ll End Up Eating Too Much

    This was my second visit. The first time was during the COVID period, and I believe it was shortly after opening. I came back because I vividly remembered the aroma diffused at the entrance and the two gift amenities we received, but this time there was no aroma and no gift amenities. I was very disappointed that the aroma is gone. On my first visit, meals that are normally served buffet-style were offered as a course, with unlimited refills ordered through staff and delivered to the table as a thorough infection-control measure. This time, we enjoyed the original buffet style. The sushi here—made with red rice—is truly delicious. At the live buffet counter, you choose your toppings and they prepare it right in front of you; you can also have spices added on top to your liking. The tempura and steamed scallops are served freshly made as well. There is a wide variety of appetizers, and the desserts are exceptionally high quality—I highly recommend them even for those who don’t usually eat dessert. We made our Reservation for the Standard Fish “Berju” plan, but they surprised us with a complimentary Kumano beef teppanyaki (also at a live buffet station). It was a wonderful surprise: cooked rare, incredibly tender lean meat you could bite through easily with your front teeth—delicious, moist despite being low in fat, and perfect for an adult palate. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks were all-you-can-drink, and many of the buffet dishes seemed especially well suited to wine. Breakfast was also buffet-style, with seafood rice bowls, seafood ochazuke (rice with tea broth), French toast, and sake-steamed clams available at live stations. For both the seafood bowl and ochazuke, you can choose your favorite toppings yourself—including nori seaweed and wasabi. Because we ate too much at dinner’s buffet, it was disappointing that I had to hold back at breakfast as well. The private villa building was very clean and quiet—perfect for a relaxing stay-in retreat. You can enjoy Shirahama Onsen anytime in the semi-open-air bath attached to your Room (available 24 hours). To be honest, last time I felt disappointed because it didn’t seem much different from regular bathwater—but this time it was silky-smooth water with yunohana mineral flakes floating on top; it was amazing! I don’t know why I felt disappointed before now that I’ve experienced this again—I’m completely satisfied with the bath this time. Having a ReFa hair dryer also made me happy. I had an extremely comfortable stay here again—this is one of my favorite Accommodations that I definitely want to return to."""

    An Accommodation with Dining and a Semi-Open-Air Bath

    As many Reviews mentioned, I was extremely satisfied with the food. From the live cooking to the savory dishes, I could really sense the excellent taste in seasoning that brought out the best of the ingredients. However, something unexpected happened for me, and it was disappointing that I had to check out without being able to enjoy the breakfast I was looking forward to. Next time, I definitely want to make up for it and try breakfast. I’m looking forward to visiting again. One thing that concerned me was the Room cleaning. Perhaps because it was a universal Room and not used very often, there was quite a bit of black mold in the bathroom. I also noticed dirt around the chair, shower, and door (black mold and hair, etc.). If housekeeping could be a bit more thorough, I think guests would be able to stay more comfortably.

    We had a wonderful vacation.

    This was our second stay, and it was just as wonderful. The front desk team’s service and the restaurant staff’s excellent memory were truly impressive. One family member has a wheat allergy, so we brought our own gluten-free soy sauce. When we first went to the sushi station, we told the staff that we didn’t need any soy sauce or sauces. Later, when we returned for sushi a second time, they asked us first, “You don’t need soy sauce or sauces again, correct?”—we were amazed. Thank you for paying attention to even the smallest details. I think this is outstanding hospitality. The Room was also very clean and a relaxing space where we could unwind without worrying about others. Highly recommended. We’re already discussing as a family when to come for our third visit.

    It was a charming Hotel.

    This was my first time staying here. It’s a Resort Hotel with a very charming atmosphere and looked picture-perfect. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and I even enjoyed an ikura rice bowl in the morning. It was also nice that all the staff were Japanese, which is rare, and their courteous service was much appreciated. I was glad the Room had a ReFa hair dryer, but I would have liked a mirror next to the TV as well. My daughter, who was very satisfied with our stay, left a letter in the Room.

    Perfect for anniversaries!

    The meals are such high quality you’d never guess they’re buffet-style. The menu changes with the seasons, so it never gets boring, and everything is consistently delicious every time we visit! The Rooms may seem similar at first, but the layouts and interiors vary, which makes it fun and interesting. The Surprise Plan is the best—guaranteed to become an unforgettable memory! It’s wonderful to receive, and just as fun to plan for someone else. A space where everyone is sure to feel happy! We’re truly grateful to all the staff who create this extraordinary and wonderful atmosphere.

    Both the Facility and the bath were very comfortable, and we had a wonderful time. It would be nice to have a shop on-site, as well as buses to Toretore Market and a shuttle bus from the station.

    A Relaxing Day Off

    Just as rumored, the food was truly delicious. The Room was wonderful, and the Onsen in the Room was amazing! When we opened the window leading to the balcony, it felt like an open-air bath. My husband has some difficulty with his legs, but the staff kindly carried food from the buffet to our table and seated us close to the buffet area. The food and Room were great, but we were especially moved by everyone’s thoughtful care. We will definitely come back again.

    Recommended for food-focused guests and buffet lovers.

    The dinner and breakfast buffet we had been looking forward to met our expectations. All of the many individually portioned dishes were delicious. We were also impressed by how good the desserts were. After the meal, there was a wine and snack service, but unfortunately we were too full to enjoy it. There is no view from the Room, but the cottage-style setting makes it easy to relax at a leisurely pace. This is an Accommodation we would like to visit again someday.

    I definitely want to stay here again!

    This stay was truly outstanding—I was completely satisfied! The dinner was especially amazing. Just as other Reviews mentioned, it ranked among the best buffet meals I’ve ever had. Even though it’s buffet-style, it didn’t feel like a typical all-you-can-eat at all—it felt more like being able to enjoy as many servings as you want of course-quality dishes. Everything was delicious, and because each item is portioned individually, it’s easy not to take too much. Before I knew it, I’d tried almost the entire menu. Most guests had a calm demeanor, and the whole property felt quiet and refined, which made it very comfortable. The Room was built like a private villa, so we could relax without worrying about others. The in-room Onsen bath was always filled with hot water, and it felt so good that I ended up soaking multiple times! One small note: when I opened the door to cool down after bathing at night, a lot of insects came in. It would have been even better if there were a screen door on the bath-side entrance. That said, it’s probably because nature is so close—next time I’ll just bathe earlier. I also appreciated the thoughtful details, like amenities made with recycled plastic. The in-room coffee was great, and I was happy they provided a ReFa hair dryer. It’s not an Accommodation focused on extensive room service options, but instead you can really feel how much care has gone into the Room facilities and overall comfort—an extremely satisfying Hotel. It was such a wonderful Accommodation that I’d love to return every year!

    The Most Thoughtful Accommodation

    We visited Blanchette Nanki Shirahama to enjoy a delicious buffet and the Onsen, as it is highly rated. Although we had not contacted the Accommodation in advance, the staff at check-in kindly considered my wife’s condition and promptly arranged a barrier-free Room for us. They also prepared seating at the dining venue for both dinner and breakfast that made it easy to serve food, providing wonderful hospitality that truly supports guests. Thanks to everyone’s thoughtfulness and smiles, we had a very enjoyable trip. We are truly grateful. The buffet was excellent, just as reviewed—each dish showed great care in ingredients and presentation. In particular, we were impressed by the high quality of the sweets. We enjoyed our stay at Blanchette Nanki Shirahama from check-in to check-out, and we look forward to visiting again for the delicious buffet and the staff’s warm smiles. Thank you very much.

    The dinner buffet is delicious.

    The dinner buffet was exceptionally delicious. The lean steak was the best I’ve ever had. I used to think buffets were a step down, but everything was tasty, and it was great to be able to eat what I wanted. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of options, including seafood rice bowls, and I was very satisfied. The service was excellent as well. Personally, I prefer large public baths, so I rated the bath facilities lower, but it’s an Accommodation I’d like to stay at again. Since there were only vending machines, I thought it would be nice if there were a small shop near the front desk selling souvenirs and other items.

    It was our first stay with my parents in over a decade. As they have gotten older, we’ve had fewer chances to travel together, so we were glad to relax in a Room with an Onsen. When staying as three people, an extra bed is often added, but we were happy that we could share the same bed. My parents’ appetites have become smaller, so they appreciated being able to adjust the portion sizes themselves and said the meals were delicious. Thank you as well for your thoughtful consideration, including arranging a Room close to the front desk.

    Delicious Buffet

    It’s been a while since my last stay, but I’m happy to be back. The buffet is exceptionally delicious—quality you rarely find elsewhere. Alcohol is also included, and when a bottle of sake runs out, a different label appears, which is really fun. I was also very satisfied with the Room’s circulating bath, which you can use anytime. That said, because I ended up using it so often, the pouch-sized toner and lotion weren’t enough—so I’d appreciate travel-size bottles or fixed amenities provided in the Room.

    All the staff provided outstanding hospitality. Thank you. Each Room also had a private, free-flowing Onsen, and I enjoyed it many times. The water temperature was perfect. The meals were beautifully presented, and every dish—including steak and sushi—was absolutely delicious. The starry sky and the early-morning sunrise glow were stunning; it was a Hotel that made me want to return again soon.

    Having an Onsen in the Room is wonderful.

    Being able to enjoy the in-room Onsen immediately after check-in is wonderful. However, I was slightly concerned about the detailed cleaning and some wear and tear of the Facility. This time we booked a Plan with breakfast, but I felt the selection—especially juices and breads—was limited, and the overall food quality could be improved. At the live kitchen, only French toast was available, so I thought it would be nice to have omelets and other dishes as well.

    Whenever I visit Wakayama, I always stay with you, and I’m always comforted by the delicious meals and the warm Onsen!! Every time I go, it makes me want to come back again—and I end up making a Reservation... I’ll be visiting again in search of another exciting stay!

    I stayed here for two years in a row. If possible, I’d like to stay for two nights in a row and fully enjoy the meals. With just one night, I get full before I can try everything (lol). The bathtub is large enough for about three adults to soak together comfortably. You can also adjust the water temperature, which is great.

    No mistakes.

    I was completely satisfied again this time. The points I mentioned last time had been improved, and the Room was very comfortable, so I was able to relax and unwind. The meals were, needless to say, excellent. I think it’s hard to find a Hotel that serves dishes made with ingredients of this quality. Also, I always request a Room close to the front desk building, and thank you for accommodating my request every time. I’d like to stay again in a different season.

    It was a very cold d...

    It was a very cold day, so going back and forth between the Room and the dining building was tough, but since each building is separate, we were able to relax quietly without worrying about others. The Room temperature control was perfect—my feet stayed warm, and even though I’m sensitive to the cold, I felt no chill at all even when sitting by the window. It was wonderful. Also, the meal we had been looking forward to after reading Reviews was great: there was plenty of space between tables, there was none of the crowding you often get at buffets, and we really enjoyed Wakayama’s delicious food. Next time, I’d like to invite my parents.

    To escape the cold, we traveled to Nanki-Shirahama for a warm getaway. The Room was clean, and we were very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner—we ate too much because everything was so delicious. We would love to visit again.

    Christmas Eve

    This year, I stayed at the accommodation several times, and I was delighted to spend Christmas Eve here as a perfect conclusion. The service during check-in, the room, the onsen, the meals, and the service during check-out were all absolutely satisfying. I had a wonderful Christmas Eve. The meals especially stood out for their exceptional quality every time I visit. They were truly delicious. One small concern was with the toilet in the room; I noticed some dirt on the nozzle of the bidet. Other than that, everything was perfect. I look forward to visiting again in February next year.
