    A bit disappointing...

    This stay was meant as a small appreciation gathering for my mother in her 70s and her two sisters (three sisters in total) after they had finished the memorial service for their maternal grandmother. They didn’t have time to travel far to an Onsen, but wanted to relax somewhere nearby with an Onsen Facility, so I made a Reservation. Check-in was from 15:00, so we tried to complete the procedure at the kiosk around 15:10, but it showed an error saying the Room was still undergoing final confirmation. While waiting, we put our luggage in self-service lockers and went shopping at Ariake Garden. We returned before 16:00, but it still said “Room final confirmation,” and all we received was a brief apology—no particular service or consideration. Given that the price felt surprisingly high, I was disappointed as the one who booked this so they could rest after a tiring day. At a typical Hotel, even a one-hour late check-out usually incurs a fee—so I wondered whether there would be any compensation for being delayed by an hour. This was my first experience of not being able to enter at check-in time. They said breakfast was substantial and tasty—especially the bread. Amenities were available near the front desk for guests to pick up what they needed; there were also water bottles and disposable slippers in the Room. The small sink for quickly rinsing used glasses was convenient. Since kiosk check-in would have been difficult for elderly guests, I’m glad I accompanied them just in case. Overall, considering it cost about 15,000 yen per person and we went out of our way to come to Ariake (about an hour), I’m not sure it felt fully worth it—there may have been other options worth considering.

    Direct access to the spa and Ariake Garden is incredibly convenient!

    I made a Reservation because I was looking forward to the bath. Amazingly, you can go straight to the large public bath in your loungewear. There’s also a food court on the same floor (though I assume loungewear isn’t allowed), so you can enjoy a nice “meal → bath” routine. Plus, there’s an AION supermarket in the basement, which is incredibly convenient. Honestly, it feels like you could live in this Hotel. *1 My Room door wouldn’t close properly and was left partially open. When I came back without noticing, it wasn’t fully closed at all, which really surprised me. *2 Depending on the Room, the Wi‑Fi signal is critically weak. I couldn’t get any work done.

    The seafood rice bowl was amazing!!

    The Hotel’s signature seafood bowl, highly praised in Reviews, was excellent. I tried it. This time I made a Reservation for a dinner-and-breakfast set Plan, and found that the toppings on the seafood bowl differ between dinner and breakfast. My child loves salmon roe, and we thought it would be available at dinner as well, but it wasn’t on the menu. I was relieved to learn it’s served at breakfast, but next time I think breakfast only may be enough.

    I was satisfied.

    This was our first stay as a family of three. The hotel has parking, and we enjoyed a satisfying and delicious breakfast. We were able to relax in the Room, and it is easy to access since it is connected to the mall. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    I stayed here to attend a live event.

    I stayed for two nights to balance work and attending a live show after my ticket unexpectedly won during my busiest season. Since Tokyo Garden Theater is right next door, I could keep working remotely in my Room until just before doors opened and still make it on time without stress. After the show, I was able to grab dinner, return to my Room, and get back to work—so I could enjoy the concert without feeling guilty about falling behind. When I went to Ariake Garden next door to pick up lunch, I also enjoyed the local atmosphere and took photos—something that really comes with such a convenient location. I chose this Hotel entirely for the location, but the Room was comfortable and the amenities were well stocked. The drip coffee in particular was a big help while working. One small issue: when I pressed “Don’t Disturb,” there was no towel or loungewear replacement either, which differed from what I had been told (it was only two nights so I didn’t mind too much). It would be even better if towels and loungewear could be left on the doorknob upon request. I hadn’t planned to use the Onsen or breakfast at first, but decided to add them—Onsen on the first night and breakfast on the second. The Onsen Facility is a bit of a walk, but you can get there via an indoor passageway and go in loungewear, which makes it easy. Since it’s available multiple times until 11:00 a.m. the next day, I enjoyed not only an evening soak but also a morning bath. Breakfast was delicious as well—I liked being able to try many different items in small portions. The service was excellent too; when I reached for pastries, a staff member happened to bring out freshly baked ones and kindly recommended them. Because even the most affordable Room type was sold out, I booked while thinking it would be quite an expense—but in the end I’m very satisfied. It was perfect for achieving my goal of balancing work with something fun while still getting some refreshing breaks in between. Next time, I’d love to visit when I have more time to enjoy the Hotel itself as well.

    Thank you for staying with us for a Multiple Night Stay!!

    I originally made a Reservation for two nights and later added one more night as the date approached, so I noted this in the message field. However, it didn’t seem to be communicated at check-in, which took extra time, and I was very disappointed that the female staff member handled it as if it were only natural. That said, everything else was excellent—amenities, Facilities, and location. Ariake Garden is right next door, and there is also a parking area with a drop-off zone. We stayed so comfortably that I really have no complaints. We also appreciated having an air conditioner in the Room (not centralized climate control), which was especially helpful for my family who gets cold easily because we could adjust it ourselves. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to stay at again!

    Thank you for the lovely Room.

    It seems we were upgraded to a Japanese-Western style Room on the day, and we were able to relax in a spacious Room. This was our second stay, as we had errands in Tokyo and wanted to avoid going all the way home after dinner, but next time I think it would be worth visiting just for this Hotel. For example, even in midsummer there is a Shuttle Service from Tokyo Station, so you could check in right at 3:00 PM, enjoy the open-air bath while taking in the sky views, and then savor the buffet at the Hotel restaurant—an easy travel Plan like that sounds perfect.

    A Rewarding Mini Getaway

    We stayed as a parent and child during my child’s spring break, enjoying a short getaway. We also used the nearby Ariake Garden restaurant area and the Onsen, and were able to relax right up until just before check-out. The Room was clean, and since the air conditioner is a Daikin unit with an air-purifying function, it was very comfortable. The amenities selection was smaller than at other Hotels we’ve used recently (we used the ones at the Onsen Facility). We added breakfast for 3,500 yen. Aside from the luxurious seafood rice bowl and bokkake rice bowl options, there weren’t many side dishes. As someone who prefers Japanese-style breakfasts, I felt it would have been nice to have something like tamagoyaki. Also, because the vinegared-rice cooker was lined up next to another one, some guests didn’t notice there was regular rice on the other side and murmured, “Oh… there was plain rice.” That said, being able to make your own seafood bowl in the morning was exciting! It had been a while since we could relax together as parent and child, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

    Convenient.

    I stayed here to attend a live show. It was raining, but I could get to the venue without an umbrella. It’s right next door, which is very convenient. You can also go directly to Ariake Garden from the Hotel’s 6th floor. There are plenty of dining options in the complex, which makes it fun to choose. There is a limousine bus from Haneda to Ariake Garden as well. The service was average, and the Room and building were clean. There are also several free shuttle buses, so it’s a good idea to check the schedule in advance. It would be perfect if the bathroom and toilet were separate and there was a washing area in the bath.

    Everything was great.

    The Facilities, Rooms, meals, and Onsen were all excellent—this was a truly satisfying Hotel. I would love to stay again.

    Um…

    The smoking area is too small for the size of the Hotel. The shampoo and conditioner smelled oily, and my hair felt rough and squeaky. Breakfast was delicious across the board.

    It was very comfortable!

    We stayed in a Japanese-Western style Room with three adults and a two-year-old child. The Hotel was very crowded during the three-day weekend, but both check-in and check-out were smooth with almost no waiting time. The Room was very clean and comfortable, but we deducted one star because the futon for sleeping on the tatami was very thin and felt too different from the bed. We had breakfast, and it was very satisfying—you could even make your own seafood rice bowl! My family really enjoyed it and said it was delicious. The freshly baked bread was also amazing!!! We would definitely like to stay again!

    Both check-in and check-out were completed via machine, and I declined any guidance, so there were almost no opportunities to receive in-person service. In that sense, it was straightforward, quick, and convenient. Also, the listed amenities included facial cleanser, toner, emulsion (moisturizer), makeup remover, cotton swabs, and cotton pads, but I could not find them either in the room or at the amenity station on the lobby floor. I was unsure how to fill the water tank of the humidifying air purifier in the room and was a bit confused at first. I looked it up myself and was able to use it without any issues.

    I’m satisfied.

    The Room was comfortable, and I was able to enjoy the hot bath Facility many times and relax! Breakfast was very satisfying, with freshly baked croissants and even a build-your-own seafood bowl with sushi rice. The restaurant floor connected to the Hotel has many dining options, offers takeout, and let me spend my time however I liked.

    Onsen available, enjoyable for families with children.

    The room with a Japanese-style space allows for a comfortable sleep even if you toss and turn. It also includes Magformers toys. You can access the adjacent Ariake Garden through a private indoor corridor, and there are family baths and saunas exclusively for hotel guests. Additionally, there is a super sento (large public bathhouse) in the neighboring building. *Although breakfast was not ordered this time, during a previous visit, it was served buffet-style with various dishes and drinks available, including the option to make your own seafood bowl.

    I booked the hotel for a live event, and its convenient location made transportation and dining hassle-free. Although I couldn't use the bathing facility due to circumstances, I did use the gym. The gym had more machines compared to other hotels, but there was dust around the air vents and machine corners, which raised concerns about cleanliness. For a one-night stay, it was fine; however, since I usually carry a lot of luggage and need space to spread out, I realized that for a Multiple Night Stay, only spacious rooms would be suitable.

    I had a relaxing time.

    I had visited the restaurant several times for lunch. This was my first time staying at the accommodation. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy without any waiting as staff were always available. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable to relax in. Breakfast offered a variety of options and was delicious.

    I stayed here for a live event at Ariake Arena. As it was my first time visiting the area, I got lost after getting off the train. At a convenience store near Kokusai-Tenjijo Station on the Rinkai Line, I asked for directions to Hotel Villa Fontaine and received clear guidance—much appreciated! (laughs) Even before check-in, they kindly stored my luggage, which was very helpful as I came from far away. Although I checked in after the live event using a machine, it went smoothly. There were staff members available just in case assistance was needed. The next morning, as I had an early Shinkansen to catch, I requested a taxi. The staff member who assisted me was very kind and thorough—thank you so much! The taxi driver also seemed to take the shortest route to Tokyo Station; thanks to that efficiency, I arrived early and managed to board an earlier train than planned. He was very pleasant as well. Amenities are located near the elevators behind reception and include items like coffee drips, tea bags, combs, cotton pads, etc., while nightwear is provided in your room. The room itself was clean and comfortable for resting well; however, one disappointment was finding long hair stuck on the shower wall—it wasn’t mine since it was there before use—possibly left by a previous guest? For dinner options nearby: you can eat at various places within Ariake Garden’s food court where there’s plenty of variety depending on what you feel like eating! Afterward (to kill some time), we played crane games before heading back to our room. Breakfast starts at 6 AM and exceeded expectations! Despite being early morning hours already quite many guests were dining—but going earlier seems less crowded based on observation during my stay. Special mention goes out towards Chef preparing French toast freshly cooked deliciously enough leaving wanting seconds if only more timing allowed exploring other satisfying dishes offered too!     The bathing fee was supposed to be included, but I was charged at checkout. It seems "included" may not always apply.

    The parking fee was unclear.

    The parking fee was stated as 2500 yen for 24 hours. I checked in around 10 PM, paid the 2500 yen at that time, and received a QR code. I was told that scanning this code at the parking payment machine would make the fee zero. The next day, after checking out and shopping until around 2 PM, I tried to take my car out but was charged an additional 1200 yen. When I passed by the parking payment machine after checking out to go shopping, it showed zero at that time. Was it wrong to settle the payment in advance? If it's written as "2500 yen for 24 hours," shouldn't the price remain unchanged within those 24 hours regardless of when you pay? I've never encountered a parking system like this before. At other places, paying in advance doesn't change the price within the specified period. Is this some kind of New Year's pricing? I'm not sure what’s going on here—it doesn’t make sense. For a parking system like this, there should be an explanation stating that if you settle with a QR code in advance but don’t leave immediately, additional charges will apply. Even so, it doesn’t feel right to call it "2500 yen for 24 hours." I’ve also seen reviews from others mentioning issues with parking fees here—so I believe many people have had similar experiences...

    The amenities listed...

    The amenities listed on IKYU.com included lotion and emulsion, but they did not seem to be displayed at the amenity buffet. If these items have been removed from the amenities, it is necessary to update the listing accordingly. Additionally, as I mentioned during my previous stay, using the shower in the bathroom causes water to spray unexpectedly from its base, which is inconvenient. Please fix this for future guests. I enjoyed the "Bokkake" dish during my meal. Thank you very much!

    The air conditioner ...

    The air conditioner made unusual noises, and I had to change rooms. During my previous stay, the air conditioner's remote control didn't work and had to be replaced. The temperature adjustment in the room's bath was too hot and difficult to manage. I hope proper facilities will be provided. The service quality varied; some staff were polite while others were indifferent and unpleasant. It's disappointing because the location, onsen, and breakfast during my last stay were excellent.
