    We had a very comfortable stay.

    This was my first stay here. I have stayed at many Hotels, but at this Hotel every staff member greeted guests properly, and the attentive hospitality made me feel truly refreshed. The meals—especially the breakfast buffet—offered a wide variety of options, and I was very satisfied! As for the bath area, perhaps it is designed with international guests in mind, but I would have liked a chair in the shower booth.

    A Perfect Night’s Sleep

    The Room size, bed comfort, and well-equipped bathroom were truly excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, and we enjoyed the international selection. Unfortunately, there was just one issue: it was disappointing that there was only one set of amenities provided. Other than that, everything was perfect—the balance of the bed and pillows was outstanding. I would love to stay again.

    It was wonderful.

    It was a very clean Hotel and guest room. While many properties now require guests to pick up amenities at the front desk, almost everything was provided in the room here, which made it much more comfortable to stay. We stayed with our 6-month-old baby, and they prepared a baby crib and provided a diaper disposal bin, making it a very family-friendly Hotel. The nursing room on the second floor was also well maintained and spotless. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and we were very satisfied. When we visit Yokohama again, this is definitely a Hotel we would like to stay at again.

    It was a wonderful birthday celebration.

    We had a wonderful time again. I’ve also made a two-night Reservation to celebrate my birthday in January next year. I’ll take care of my health and do my best until then.

    First Stay

    This was my first stay, so I used all of the dining options: the cafe bar and Italian restaurant on the first floor, and breakfast on the second floor. Both had a calm atmosphere, and I was able to enjoy my meals at a relaxed pace. I also ate a cream bun I bought at the shop in the evening; it was fluffy and delicious. The room was compact but comfortable, and I especially appreciated that the bathroom was separate from the toilet and easy to use. When I visit Yokohama again, I would like to stay here again.

    Hyatt Regency is the only choice.

    About three years ago, we stayed at various hotels in turn, including the Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu, the Yokohama Bay Sheraton, and the Regency. After discussing it as a couple, we agreed that the Regency is the best choice for us, so we no longer feel the need to try new city hotels in Yokohama—and it has been a real relief.

    A Hotel You'll Want to Stay at Again

    This was my first time staying here. From check-in, I was welcomed with a wonderful smile, which raised my expectations. The Room was a twin—spotlessly clean! Perfect for relaxing in a spacious setting on my own. The amenities were great, including cleansing oil that women will appreciate. The shampoo also had a lovely scent. I was able to borrow an air purifier and a hair iron for free! The lounge chair was extremely comfortable as well. Since this stay was for enjoying some solo time, I ordered room service at night: a delicious burger and the dessert of the day. I don’t like truffle fries, so I asked to switch to regular fries, and they happily accommodated my request—I really appreciated it. I definitely want to stay again. Next time, I plan to book with breakfast included. Even during the busy checkout period, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently! If there’s one thing I could ask for, it would be an even better experience if there were a late check-out Plan!

    The view is a bit disappointing.

    This was my second stay. The Room was a corner on the prefectural office side, surrounded by nearby buildings, and to be honest the night view wasn’t very good. Other than that, the furnishings, room service, housekeeping, and hospitality all felt well thought out, and I had no complaints. Also, I felt there were many attractive female porters. The price is very reasonable so I can’t ask for more, but next time I think I’ll choose an ocean-side Room even if it costs a bit more.

    View from the Room

    It was a wonderful Room with a great view of the Bay Bridge right in front of us. Relaxing by the window-side sofa, we could leisurely watch planes taking off and landing at Haneda. The spacious Room had a large bed, and the bathroom was also roomy—I really liked it. It’s close to the subway, and Chinatown is just a short walk away. It was a very satisfying stay and made for a great summer vacation.\nHowever, there was one thing that bothered me… Breakfast was decent overall, but I want to comment on the pho. First, the bowl—wasn’t it basically a rice bowl? It’s too small. Couldn’t you provide something more like a small donburi-sized bowl? Even compared with places like The Shilla or Lotte in Seoul (though I haven’t been in years), it felt noticeably unmotivated—more like “we offer it” than anything else. The soup was tasty, so it was disappointing.

    The breakfast was absolutely outstanding! The Room had a great view and a calm interior, so I was able to sleep soundly. All of the staff were true professionals and truly wonderful. Thank you for an amazing stay.

    Perfect for enjoying a luxurious stay!

    A wonderful Room that’s perfect for a first trip to Yokohama. It’s close to Yamashita Park, so we went for walks at night and in the morning. I was looking forward to the Minato Mirai night view, but I ended up more intrigued by the rooftop of a nearby low-rise building with a real local feel. In the morning, I was thrilled to see Mt. Fuji in the distance. The bath was spacious, and the shower felt great—completely satisfying. The amenities and in-Room coffee were just as expected. Breakfast is buffet-style with a wide variety of options—it was hard to choose. I wanted to eat more, but my stomach couldn’t keep up. The parking is a tower system, but they guided us properly so we felt at ease. We were completely satisfied with everything—such a lovely Hotel!

    This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

    Check-in was quick with almost no waiting, and both the Facility and the Room were clean, with new amenities. With a separate bath and toilet, I had a very comfortable stay. When not using the bathroom, you can leave the door open for an airy feel; when using it, you can close the door—very convenient. Also, when using the shower, hot water can sometimes splash quite far and wet the bath mat placed outside the door, but at this Hotel, even in similar situations, the bath mat did not get wet. It’s a modern Hotel designed in detail for a comfortable stay. I went to breakfast early so there was no line; there was a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese options. Everything was delicious, and the fresh vegetables looked very fresh and clean. After checkout, I decided to have lunch at the 1F restaurant on short notice and ordered only pasta instead of a course meal; both the sauce and noodles were excellent. The Hotel staff and restaurant staff were efficient yet kind throughout—I never had any unpleasant experience.

    We were allowed to check in before 3:00 PM. The only minor issue was that the Room fragrance felt a bit weak, but everything else was good.

    Choosing a Plan without club access may reduce guest satisfaction.

    Many of the Reviews shown here are from guests with club lounge access, but satisfaction may be lower with a standard Plan Reservation, so I’m sharing this for reference. I stayed during the Obon holiday period, and there were still Rooms available to reserve on IKYU even on the day, so it was not fully booked. When I left my suitcase before check-in, I had heard that 3:00 PM check-in would be crowded, so I returned to the Hotel at 3:30 PM. In the end, I wasn’t able to enter my Room until 3:50 PM, and my suitcase didn’t arrive in the Room until 4:00 PM. Having to wait this long when you just want to get into your Room and rest is tough. There were times when only one person was staffing a front desk that could handle 4–5 people, and a staff member who appeared to be in training (with a senior staff member standing behind them giving instructions) was handling busy check-ins in an uncertain manner. It’s hard to call it smooth operation. At check-in, we were told that breakfast would be crowded from 7:30–8:00 AM and that some guests even give up on breakfast (which is questionable in itself). So we went to the breakfast venue around 8:40 AM, but we weren’t seated until another 30 minutes later at 9:10 AM. One of my companions had work scheduled and couldn’t eat breakfast at all. This seems like an issue with the Hotel’s layout rather than something operations can easily fix now. If you stay here during peak periods, a Plan with club lounge access feels essential. The Room was clean, but I deducted stars because the bathroom mirror lighting was dim and only lit from the right side making it hard to see; as noted in other Reviews as well, the hair dryer was a cheap Panasonic model; and the coffee machine was UCC—compared with Nespresso, the taste is inferior.

    Exclusive lounge access included

    I used the lounge again this year because it was great around the same time last year. Last year there were a few hot dishes, but this year there were none at all, which was disappointing. For breakfast, I think it would be nice to have something like corn soup to go with the bread.

    Although this is a Club Floor room,

    I have been staying here about every five months recently, and this time was my second stay on the Club Floor. As soon as we entered the Room, we noticed that a piece of fabric (?) attached behind the window-side couch was hanging down. To confirm safety and to make it clear that we had not caused any damage, we immediately called the front desk. The male staff member asked whether we would like to change Rooms. When I replied that it was fine to stay as long as there were no safety concerns, he only apologized, saying housekeeping had failed to check properly, but no one came to inspect the situation in person. Despite this being such an impressive Hotel, I was disappointed by the lack of even a visual safety check. I was also surprised that there was no mention of this at all when checking out the next day. We checked out at the Club Lounge—was this issue not recorded in your system? Also, as with my previous visit, many of the Club Lounge staff gave an overall cool impression. During cocktail time, glasses and wine refills did not keep up with demand. Even when I wanted to ask for assistance, it felt difficult because all staff members looked quite stern. Although these comments are critical, I like the location and how practical and comfortable the Room is, so I will stay again. Lastly, I would like to add that the staff at the pastry shop we stopped by at the end were wonderful—truly attentive to customers—and it really lifted my spirits.

    It was amazing!

    Beautiful from the outside, with courteous staff and a spacious Room—it was excellent. I was amazed by the gold folding screen! I was nervous about not getting it dirty. If I have the chance to visit Yokohama again, I would definitely like to stay here.

    Escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

    This is a cozy hotel, and everything from the front lobby to the Room was fully satisfying. The high tea time in the bar lounge offered excellent value for money, and the service quality was so high that it made me glad I chose Regency.

    It was a family trip.

    It was a great Hotel, just as the reviews said. It was a bit disappointing that check-in took some time, but the Room was spacious and we were able to relax comfortably. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was very delicious—especially the omelet, which was outstanding. The staff were also kind and courteous, and our whole family was very satisfied. (The photo taken for us at check-out was also good.) Next time, we would like to book a Multiple Night Stay.

    I stayed here the other day. The location was good, close to Chinatown. The Facilities and atmosphere were nice, but the club lounge breakfast didn’t have anything particularly noteworthy. In addition, when I switched to the regular breakfast buffet instead of the lounge, I was charged the standard fee. If you want to enjoy the breakfast buffet, please be aware of this.

    Wonderful

    I stayed for one night in a Room with Club Lounge access. Both check-in and check-out were very smooth, and I was able to enter the Room comfortably. Due to the typhoon, the weather was unfortunately bad and the sole of my sandal came off, so I asked a staff member to find a nearby shoe repair shop. However, it would have required taking a train, so I gave up. After that, the staff member brought me adhesive as an alternative solution. I felt once again that this is truly a first-class Hotel—because they didn’t simply give up but sincerely addressed what I was struggling with. It reminded me that it’s precisely when something goes wrong that you can see an Hotel’s quality and class. I was genuinely happy that they continued to check on me and speak to me about it even until checkout. Thank you very much. I would definitely like to stay again.

    I was mostly satisfied with the Room and Facility. Dinner and breakfast were sufficient, though I had a few requests. My only complaint was that I went to the bar at night looking forward to the live music, but a group that came with a Reservation was so loud that I could hardly hear the performance or vocals. I understand that taking Reservations at a Hotel bar is sometimes unavoidable, but it felt very disrespectful not to caution a noisy group that was disturbing other guests—and especially disrespectful to the performers. I appreciated your consideration after the group left, but I sincerely hope you will be more careful about accepting this kind of group at a Hotel of this level.

    Disappointing.

    I stayed in a Club Twin room with access to the private lounge. I have used lounges at other hotels, but this one was disappointing beyond comparison. Used dishes were left on tables, and children from other countries sat on the sofa chairs wearing sandals… while the lounge staff looked the other way. The room itself was comfortable, but despite having lounge access, it ended up being an unpleasant stay.
