    A Hotel I’d Love to Visit Again

    The Japanese-style dinner included in the Plan was incredibly delicious, and I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy it at this price. Breakfast was also tasty, and the staff were kind and quick to notice when plates were empty. The Hotel itself was very clean, and since I stayed on a weekday, I received a 2,000-yen coupon that I was able to use at the souvenir shop on the second floor on my way out. It’s rare for me to find a Hotel that makes me want to come back, but I would definitely like to stay here again next time. At check-in, nothing was mentioned about my car parked in the affiliated parking lot, so I had to ask again later, but they handled it kindly.

    Dinner with Yusho

    Stayed to enjoy Yusho’s chef’s choice dinner course. The unique menu blending Osaka and Kyoto was a delight. The ingredients were fresh, and the tableware and small details were thoughtfully curated—it’s a shame the business will close in July. The front desk staff were kind. The large public bath was quiet when I went early, so it was comfortable. Breakfast offered many side dishes, and the grilled fish was delicious. It was disappointing that Osaka TV channels weren’t available. It was also disappointing that the washbasin bowl had noticeable grime and looked overly shiny/dirty. Still, I could relax even in a small Room with only a shower booth. A Hotel with great value for money.

    It was truly a wonde...

    It was truly a wonderful Hotel, just as the Reviews said. At check-in, the staff were very kind, and I had a comfortable stay. The eel was also incredibly delicious. Breakfast was gentle on the body and very tasty. The Room was spacious and felt very clean. Thank you very much. I have already made a Reservation for next time as well. Thank you in advance.

    Dinner at Yusho was delicious.

    This was my second stay. One disappointment was that, even at many Business Hotels these days, you can enjoy welcome drinks such as coffee or juice after check-in, which is relaxing—but there was nothing like that here. The Room was clean, but the washbasin area was small and not very convenient to use. This time I booked a Plan with a choice of dinner and selected the Japanese set meal at Yusho. I decided right away because I had enjoyed lunch there before. The food was delicious. I was able to enjoy a Japanese kaiseki dinner at a relaxed pace in a comfortable private room with a pleasant atmosphere, so I was very satisfied with dinner. The Hotel breakfast was average. The front desk service felt somewhat businesslike. The large public bath also had a sauna and was nice, but at night there were times when it got crowded and there weren’t enough washing stations. Overall, given the location, this Hotel has many families with children and international guests. It seems like good value for money.

    The eel was delicious!

    The eel served at the restaurant was so large and generous that I could hardly finish it. It even came with a clear liver soup, and I had never enjoyed such a luxurious eel meal at a restaurant before! The Hotel was also wonderful, with stylish interiors that truly felt like Kyoto throughout. Breakfast offered a great variety of choices and was delicious. We stayed for my husband’s birthday, and it became an unforgettable trip to Kyoto. Thank you very much!

    The dinner included in the Reservation Plan was a duck course, but thank you very much to everyone at the Hotel front desk for adjusting the meal to a vegetarian Buddhist-style menu. Thanks to your kindness, we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you again.

    This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

    I stayed at this Hotel for the first time because it’s conveniently located just one stop from Kyoto Station and has a large public bath. The air conditioner in my Room wasn’t working, so I called the front desk and they promptly moved me to another Room. Thank you for your quick response. At check-in, I received a Sasaya Iori Japanese sweets set using an in-house coupon, and I was very satisfied—it made a great Kyoto souvenir. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto.

    A Comfortable Hotel Stay

    The Room and the large public bath were spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We could also see Toji Temple’s five-story pagoda from the Room. The front desk staff were all friendly and approachable, making it easy to ask questions. It was a weekday in June, but the breakfast venue was crowded the entire time, and I was surprised by how many guests there were. We were seated right near the entrance, with people constantly coming and going, so it wasn’t relaxing. I feel the venue is too small for the number of guests. Even so, one female staff member around middle age was exceptionally considerate. She worked efficiently at all times while speaking to guests with a smile. It made me feel very happy from the morning. Umekoji Park nearby has plenty of greenery, and a morning walk there felt wonderful. Being just one stop away from Kyoto Station while still enjoying a calm surrounding area is also a great appeal. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

    We stayed here as a couple.

    It was a Hotel just one stop from Kyoto Station, making it very convenient for Shinkansen travelers. The Room was surprisingly spacious for the price, and the large public bath had everything you need (if you want more than that, you should go to an Onsen resort). Breakfast also included Kyoto-style obanzai dishes, and overall I was very satisfied. I will stay here again as a base for sightseeing in Kyoto.

    This was my second s...

    This was my second stay. All the staff were polite and pleasant. The large public bath was clean, and towels are provided there, so it’s convenient not having to bring them from the Room. The fan was covered in dust, though—I think it should be cleaned. I mentioned in advance that this was a birthday stay and requested a Room with a nice view, but nothing was noted and it ended up being a parking-lot view (lol). Last time I stayed in a Room with a bathtub, and this time I chose one with only a shower booth. Since the Room felt small, I realized again that I prefer a Room with a bathtub. I also noticed an unpleasant smell in the toilet in the Room. Breakfast is standard without anything like a live kitchen, but it tastes good. There were about two wonderful staff members at breakfast who worked efficiently with smiles—it was nice to see. There were also some younger staff who seemed spaced out, though... I booked a Plan that included lunch, and I would have appreciated photo introductions showing what kind of dishes are available at each restaurant. This time noise from the Rooms above/below carried through, and one Room kept making loud banging noises until after midnight, so I couldn’t sleep. Next time I’d like to stay in a different Room. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Highly satisfied

    Our original destination this time was Yamaguchi. Since we were driving from Tokyo, we planned to stay in Kyoto for one night along the way. I searched on IKYU for Accommodation only, and this Hotel came up. We made a Reservation for three people, and it wasn’t an extra bed—plus there was an Onsen, which was fantastic. We stayed here both on the way there and on the way back: Sunday on the outbound trip and Friday on the return trip. Since Friday was a weekday, we received a restaurant discount, which was great. We definitely want to stay here again.

    Highly satisfied

    It was close to the station, and since it’s the next station from Kyoto Station, the area around the Hotel wasn’t crowded or chaotic, which was nice. The Hotel was very clean. I was surprised at how spotless the large public bath was—cleaner than any Hotel I’ve stayed at before. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious, so I was very satisfied. For dinner, we ate at a restaurant inside the Hotel; the seafood was excellent. I thought it would be nice if there were a souvenir shop in the Hotel and another store with a wider selection where you could buy snacks and drinks to enjoy in your room.

    Wonderful Hotel

    We stayed here with our child. Since we traveled by Shinkansen, it was easy to access—just one stop from Kyoto Station. Being directly connected to the station was also a big plus when traveling with a child. There are a park, an aquarium, and the Railway Museum very close by, so there’s plenty to enjoy nearby. The Hotel has a modern feel, and the Room was very clean. On the 1st and 2nd floors there are Kyoto-style souvenir shops, a Japanese sweets shop, and restaurants, so it was convenient to take care of everything within the Hotel without having to go far. The large public bath was also clean, and we could relax in the spacious tub and recover from travel fatigue. The Nanoe hair dryer was great as well. The amenities were POLA products, which left our skin feeling smooth. We were very satisfied with the breakfast buffet too—Kyoto-style side dishes with flavorful dashi broth, delicious bread from Shinshindo, and tasty rice. We stayed two nights and had breakfast twice; since the selection of side dishes and bread changed each day, we didn’t get bored. We also appreciated being able to take coffee from the breakfast venue back to our Room. All of the Hotel staff were very polite and kind. Many spoke in Kyoto dialect as well, which made us feel even more immersed in Kyoto. Our child loved this Hotel too and kept saying they want to stay again! When we visit Kyoto again, we would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful time.

    I was very satisfied.

    Four friends and I stayed in an Emion Force Room. It was very spacious and relaxing! Maybe because it was a weekday, we got a great rate, and it also came with a ¥1,000 voucher usable at the restaurant downstairs plus a discount coupon for the souvenir shop—an excellent value. Breakfast was delicious too. It’s an Accommodation we’d definitely like to stay at again.

    Kyoto Hotel

    Just one stop from Kyoto, I was genuinely impressed by how much more affordable it was—excellent value for money. The Hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. Hotels around Kyoto Station tend to have very small Rooms and poor value, so I’d like to stay at this Hotel from now on. Breakfast is served in a relaxed restaurant (there don’t seem to be many restaurants nearby, so I recommend booking with breakfast), and the station is close and convenient. At check-in I received dining vouchers, but unfortunately they went unused because I had already eaten at the restaurant downstairs—I should have checked in before dinner. I would definitely like to stay at this Hotel again the next time I visit Kyoto.

    Enjoy a luxurious stay while indulging in the bathhouse.

    My mother, daughter, and granddaughter—three generations—stayed here during our trip to Kyoto. The beds were spacious enough, and the Room was well appointed. The interior and overall atmosphere were lovely, so we enjoyed drinks and conversation in the Room. It was also nice to be able to go to the public bath for a change of pace. One disappointment was the breakfast venue. With no windows, it felt like being shut inside a banquet hall. I had done my makeup and hair looking forward to breakfast, so the atmosphere made me feel a bit sad. That said, the food tasted great—the dashi in the miso soup, the delicious rice, and even the flavor of the pickles were all enjoyable. We also visited the market at 5:00 a.m. We could see its lively energy and catch a glimpse of people working even before dawn, which gave us an appreciation for Japan’s careful distribution system and its rich seas. It’s very close—right from the second-floor connecting passageway—so I highly recommend checking it out. It leaves quite an impression. I’m also attaching photos from my personal favorite: Pontocho’s Kamogawa Odori on Kamo River. You can enjoy it in Kyoto in May. The Gion Kobu performances during cherry blossom season are wonderful too, but for me nothing beats wisteria—you’ll be captivated by their artistry. Everyone should see it at least once. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay; if I may add just one more suggestion… We received a ticket for your partner parking lot at check-in, but it might be more helpful to provide it at check-out so guests don’t forget about it.

    Hotel near a downtown station

    This was my first stay during Golden Week. Just as the online Reviews said, there was a wide variety of breakfast options (especially many Japanese side dishes), and the Room was spacious, so I had a very comfortable stay. I spent the day sightseeing around Kyoto City, visiting museums and strolling around temples, and it was efficient to be able to use the dining-only restaurants inside the Hotel right away when I came back tired. The only drawbacks were that the large public bath felt a bit small and there is no open-air bath. Also, the front desk area had a rather strong fragrance, which some people may like and others may not. But if you ask whether I would stay again, my answer is an immediate yes—I’d definitely like to stay again next time. It’s rare to find a place in Kyoto City where you can spend time so comfortably in such a spacious building. If you’re considering where to stay in Kyoto City, this is a Hotel I would recommend.

    The breakfast was a bit disappointing.

    There were no issues with the Room, service, or the large public bath, but breakfast felt underwhelming. Especially during a Multiple Night Stay, I got tired of it, and I wished the taste were better. Other than breakfast, I think there were no problems.

    Family Trip

    This was my second stay. This time, I stayed with my family on a trip with my mother in her 80s. The Room was spacious, and we were able to spend our time comfortably. However, the large public bath was far too dark, and I felt it was dangerous—not only for my elderly mother but also because there were several families with young children. I hope this will remain a Facility that is considerate and safe for guests of all ages. The location is also convenient, with convenience stores and places to eat nearby, and I would like to stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

    Trip with My Mother

    I have stayed here many times with my mother, who has difficulty walking. Each time, the staff have been very kind and helpful.\n\nI also enjoy seeing how the shops change little by little and being able to visit the market next door.\n\nI will stay here again.

    The Hotel is great, and the pottery experience is great too.

    The Hotel was well-equipped and very clean, and the front desk staff were kind and provided wonderful service. We chose a Plan that included a pottery experience, and the instructors were also very welcoming, making it a special, memorable experience. Thank you.

    It was a great-value, clean Hotel.

    I have visited Kyoto many times, but this time I stayed here for the first time instead of my usual Hotel, because I had a great experience at Emion in Urayasu. The building is new and clean with a nice sense of quality, and the Room is spacious—at this price point, it’s rare to find this level of quality in Kyoto. Overall, I think it’s a very good Hotel. If there are areas for improvement, first and foremost the large public bath is small. It’s a lovely and very clean bath area, but compared to the number of guests staying here, it feels simply too small. You can check crowding on the Room TV, but it shows “crowded” all the time, which makes it pointless. These days many people choose a Hotel based on whether it has a large public bath or not, so I think this is worth reconsidering. Regarding the breakfast buffet: there was a decent variety and some obanzai-style dishes that gave a Kyoto feel, but overall I felt the ingredient quality was low. Inevitably, you end up expecting more of a Hotel standard. In contrast, “Arisho,” which we used with a dinner-included Plan, was excellent considering the price. I’ve mentioned two or three criticisms, but this is an outstanding Hotel in terms of both value for money and quality, so I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto next time.

    It was excellent.

    This was my first time staying for two nights, and everything was thoughtfully provided, making for a very comfortable stay. The in-Room bath was clean and separate; it was spacious with a well-equipped shower. The large public bath was also spacious, and the women’s bath even had a sauna, which helped me relax and recover from fatigue. The Room itself was clean, roomy, and easy to use. I could also enjoy a full view from the rooftop terrace, which was a great change of pace. I used the late-night room service as well—the portion size was just right and it tasted great. The on-site restaurant options were excellent, and I could use coupons too, so I never had trouble finding meals; after sightseeing, I didn’t even need to go out again when I was tired. The bus to Kyoto Station was comfortable, and with the station nearby the location couldn’t be more convenient. It truly exceeded the price, and I would definitely like to stay again.
