    The breakfast was truly wonderful!

    When I stayed previously, I didn’t have time because of my flight the next day, so I couldn’t have breakfast at the Hotel. Next time I stay, I will definitely choose a Plan that includes breakfast. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all very kind, and the service was excellent. It was a wonderful stay.

    Directly connected to Namba Station, making it very convenient. There are plenty of izakayas and restaurants nearby, which makes it fun. The Room was clean, well maintained, and easy to use. However, at check-in in the afternoon, the curtains were only open about 10 cm. I wondered why in such a bright time of day, but once I opened them I understood. It would be better if the sheer curtains were made of a thicker fabric. Breakfast was also delicious.

    It was my first stay in several years, and the kind, attentive service was outstanding. I stayed for three nights, and the breakfast offered a wide variety with thoughtful touches to keep it from feeling repetitive—I was truly impressed. Maintaining the same level of service every time is not easy, but you do it consistently. The teamwork among the staff is also excellent. With its great location above ground at Namba Station, this Hotel is perfect for active travelers. I’ll be back again.

    Directly connected to the underground passage near Kintetsu Namba Station, with a high-quality breakfast.

    I was looking for a Hotel near Namba Station and made a Reservation at this Hotel. The front desk is on the 11th floor, and the exterior is stylish. The rooms are simple but clean and nicely designed. I was surprised by the quality of the breakfast. It’s one of the best I’ve had. The bread is delicious. The Japanese dishes were also excellent—the bonito flakes were freshly shaved and truly tasty. The made-to-order omelets, Eggs Benedict, and beautifully presented pancakes were all great.

    There is an odor.

    The hospitality, service, Room size and cleanliness, and the wide range of amenities were all very satisfying—truly the quality you would expect from a Hotel. However, there was one issue: from the moment I entered the Room, there was an extremely strong odor... (I had stayed in a different Room the previous day), so I could clearly tell this was not a normal smell for a Room. It was probably strong perfume. It smelled as if someone had spilled perfume or sprayed it all over to make the Room smell the way they liked—it was that intense. If that is your Hotel’s standard scent, I will not stay again (the twin Room I stayed in the previous day did not smell at all), so it was clearly unusual. Did housekeeping not notice anything strange about that odor? All other services were sufficient, but since I paid an appropriate rate, I felt disappointed—as if guests are being taken lightly. I believe this level of consideration should be expected at a Hotel of this standard.

    Is it really a five-star Hotel???

    They confirmed at check-in that I wanted a non-smoking Room, and I said yes. Still, I wondered if there were smoking Rooms as I headed to my Room. The Room I was shown to smelled strongly of cigarettes, so I opened the window and turned on the air purifier. Since it was immediately after entering, I called the front desk and was moved to another Room on the same floor. This Hotel uses a system where you insert the room key into a holder in the Room. Because I was taken to the Room first, I didn’t have the room key yet. When I used the toilet, it wouldn’t flush. After trying various things and realizing it wouldn’t work, I called again and was told it was because the key hadn’t been inserted. As soon as I inserted it, power came on and it flushed. The air conditioner and lights were already on, so I didn’t notice. At night we went to the bar on the 20th floor and ordered a course that felt like an evening afternoon tea set. During happy hour we ordered draft beer and their recommended matcha cocktail. The matcha cocktail looked like matcha milk in a glass with just alcohol added—honestly confusing. When making my Reservation, I checked “My birthday” as the purpose of stay. There was no message or acknowledgment with dessert, so when I asked about it they said they could see that note but there would be no special birthday plate. To top it off, it was humid at night and the A/C temperature setting was 26°C, so I lowered it—but soon it got hot again. When I checked, it had returned to 26°C. Normally 26°C is comfortable for me, but this time it felt hot—maybe something was wrong with the unit? All night long this repeated: lowering the temperature, falling asleep briefly, then waking up hot again. In the morning when I called them about it, they said for some reason the main unit had been set to revert back to 26°C automatically. The only response from staff was an apology saying they hadn’t known. At checkout when I explained again that I couldn’t sleep well due to this issue: “We’ll pass this along,” plus another apology—nothing more. After checking out while sitting in front of reception area ,the guest relations manager came over later apologized saying sorry for inconvenience. Most people come to a Hotel primarily to sleep well. I believe a Hotel’s role is to ensure guests can stay comfortably. For something marketed as a five-star Hotel ,this experience felt far below expectations . Odor and temperature are fundamental factors in comfort ,and i’m honestly shocked by how dismissive their response seemed (“it must have been set by previous guest”).I never want stay here again . Also,both Rooms had very dirty windows...

    The front desk was not busy, so check-in went smoothly, and the Room and bath were comfortable. I would like to stay again.

    The staff were wonderful.

    Close to the station, with great convenience, a clean Room, and plenty of amenities. Above all, the staff were very courteous and helpful. Even when taking photos, a staff member kindly offered assistance, which made our stay comfortable. The meals were delicious as well—we were very satisfied. Thank you very much. However, it was disappointing that the window design seems difficult to clean and there was some dirt on it. I looked into it and it seems this was anticipated, but perhaps it turned out to be more challenging than expected.

    The breakfast is very delicious.

    The breakfast was very delicious. In particular, the roast beef, omelet, and rice with bonito flakes were excellent. One thing that bothered me was that at the breakfast reception desk, a male staff member loudly said things like “Three more guests haven’t arrived yet,” which made me uncomfortable. Overall, staff conversations about work are quite loud.

    Wi‑Fi is currently experiencing technical issues.

    At check-in, we were informed that there was a Wi-Fi issue, so it often would not connect, and that there was no estimated time for restoration. During our 2-night/3-day stay, it did not work at all in the mornings or evenings. It occasionally connected during the day, but overall it was almost never available, which was extremely inconvenient. I did not ask for details, but it seemed this problem had been ongoing for some time and did not start just yesterday or today. I chose this Hotel expecting it to be relatively new and good quality, so I did not expect anything like this. I also wondered why it could not be fixed quickly. Both at the front desk and in the breakfast area, many staff seemed inexperienced—often without smiles and somewhat awkward (especially in the breakfast area)—which felt inconsistent with the level of the Hotel. The breakfast itself was delicious and satisfying. The inside of the Hotel was quiet and comfortable; however, perhaps due to the neighborhood, we could hear voices and music like a demonstration from the street in front or near the station. Late at night, loud motorcycle groups passed by multiple times as well, making outside noisy and giving an impression of poor public safety. If you want a quiet Hotel stay in Osaka, you may prefer an area other than Namba.

    I have stayed here m...

    I have stayed here many times, and it is a Hotel where I feel comfortable every visit, without ever sensing aging Facilities or service becoming routine. The quality of the coffee, tea bags, water, amenities, and housekeeping has been maintained (or even improved), and at a time when more Hotels are gradually lowering quality and service levels in the name of cost-cutting or environmental initiatives, I find reassurance in this Hotel’s unwavering commitment to hospitality.

    It was a nice Hotel.

    I found this Hotel while looking for a place nearby to attend the farewell Kabuki performance at Osaka Shochikuza Theater. It was very convenient, with easy access from the station. The breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. I’ve tried omelets at many Hotels, and the omelet here was excellent. The rating stars were set to five by default and were hard to change, so almost all items ended up as five stars.

    Stay during Golden Week

    It was raining on the day of check-in, so it was very helpful to be able to enter from Namba Subway Station without getting wet. The airport limousine bus stop is also nearby, and the location is extremely convenient. Although it is not a Hotel-operated shop, the cafe on the first floor is also popular and delicious, so I would like to stay at this Hotel again.

    I stayed here with my mother in her 80s to attend a kabuki performance at Osaka Shochikuza Theatre. The location was excellent and convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The Room was, of course, wonderful, but we were especially impressed by the beautiful, colorful breakfast and the thoughtfully placed artwork throughout the property. My mother says she would like to return. We would love to stay again when we visit next time.

    I was very satisfied.

    The Room was great, and the breakfast was excellent. The manager in charge of the breakfast restaurant was very attentive, and I had a pleasant morning. The chefs were also wonderful. Next time, I’d like to take my time enjoying the artworks throughout the property. I’ll be back!

    A lovely Hotel with a great atmosphere

    This was my first stay, and in addition to the charming atmosphere suggested by the exterior, the interior design exceeded my expectations, making for a very pleasant visit. All of the staff were efficient yet friendly and courteous, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The Room was functional and easy to use, allowing me to relax in comfort. The breakfast was especially memorable—the buffet selection was extremely extensive, so much so that it made me want to go back again and again. The kimono sold on-site were also very appealing, and I wish I had purchased one. The location is also convenient with good access from Namba Station, and I would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

    High quality

    We visited the Cafe Lounge Koagari to use the complimentary drink tickets included with the Premium Room benefits. At that time, a limited-time cake inspired by “Hippopotamus,” a work by Dutch contemporary artist Florentijn Hofman currently on display in the hotel, was available, so we ordered it as well. The citrus mousse cake was light and refreshing, and very tasty. The staff’s explanation of the cake was also clear and attentive. At Restaurant HAFU, the breakfast buffet offered an excellent selection. The staff greeted guests properly, and their thoughtful service made for a pleasant start to the day.

    Upgrade

    Although it was due to the Hotel’s circumstances, thank you very much for upgrading us to a Suite Room. We were overwhelmed by the remarkable spaciousness of the Room and the large jacuzzi bathroom. Thanks to that, we were able to relax and enjoy a leisurely stay. Everything was flawless, but if I had to mention one thing, for a Suite Room it might be nice to have two bath towels per person. Breakfast offered a wide variety of items, and everything was delicious. There were many international guests that day and it was quite lively, but we were guided to a slightly separate area, allowing us to enjoy breakfast quietly and at ease. The female international staff member at the front desk who wore glasses also had a clear understanding of the parking fee system and explained it thoroughly. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much.

    A Long-Awaited Trip to Namba

    I’d been wanting to stay here if I ever had the chance to visit Namba, and it was great—so close to Takashimaya. The guest room, finished with high-quality wood, felt very calming. One slight disappointment was that, due to the building’s structure, the window view was partially blocked by pillar-like elements. Inside the Hotel, tasteful artworks were subtly displayed throughout, which I enjoyed. I tried the apple French toast at Tsuchi café on the 1st floor; it was delicious along with the coffee. It’s easy to drop by, so I recommend it. Since I received a guest discount voucher, I also visited the bar lounge UnUn on the 20th floor. The night view is stunning and truly impressive. Their original cocktail “UnUn” is especially recommended—the bubbles pop and release smoke for a dreamy effect. For breakfast, I had the buffet at Restaurant Hafuu on the 11th floor. They even offer sparkling wine in the morning—very elegant. There were many stylish, high-quality dishes like parfaits and eggs Benedict, and everything was incredibly tasty. I really enjoyed my Hotel stay—it felt like a new kind of Hotel where modern and classic styles blend beautifully. If you’re visiting Namba, definitely try staying here at least once. Highly recommended!

    No night view is available.

    The bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower, and the Room felt clean overall. There was a FamilyMart inside the Hotel, which made shopping convenient. We also used the 20% off bar coupon. At check-in, the front desk staff member was a foreigner; their Japanese was a bit halting and they spoke quietly, which made them hard to hear. The Japanese set meal room service (7,000 yen) consisted mainly of meat-based side dishes. It was also cold and didn’t taste good. I also felt there were not many types of alcohol available. The view from the Room was disappointing because something like an iron fence blocked it, so we couldn’t see much.

    Smoking Room

    I stay here every year when I go to watch the Grand Sumo Tournament. Having a smoking room, which is rare these days, is greatly appreciated. I will stay here again next year.

    A fully serviced Hotel

    The location is directly connected to the station, and the exterior beautifully recreates the Kabuki-za. It was a wonderful Accommodation with every amenity thoughtfully provided in the Room. I wasn’t bothered by any noise from neighboring Rooms, and the bathroom separated by a glass wall was comfortable, as was the toilet. They even provided bath salts, and I was completely satisfied. The breakfast buffet was excellent in both variety and quality, and I was especially impressed by the freshly shaved bonito flakes. The unheated honey was also outstanding. I would love to stay again next time, so thank you in advance. The attentive service is the best in Namba!

    We stayed here for a year-end trip. As it is a new Hotel, it was clean and well maintained. It is also directly connected to the station, with plenty of restaurants nearby, so the location is excellent. However, we were disappointed that we did not feel a clear difference in hospitality compared with nearby Business Hotels. When we arrived and headed to the front desk, the staff were chatting with each other until we stood right in front of them even though they could clearly see us, and there was no guidance about breakfast hours. These are things I would not mind at an ordinary Business Hotel, but given our expectations for this Hotel, it felt lacking in hospitality. Breakfast was enjoyable in a calm setting where we could take our time. The staff were attentive and promptly cleared empty plates, which left a good impression.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    I stayed here for a SixTONES concert. Thank you for accommodating a sudden change to my check-in time. Breakfast was also delicious. The only disappointing part was that during breakfast, staff were being instructed on how to hold plates right behind our table, which was distracting (I understand training is necessary—sorry). I would like to stay here again the next time I visit Osaka.

    We were comforted by the staff’s thoughtful care.

    We chose the buffet Plan for both breakfast and dinner, and there was a Strawberry Fair at dinner. The mousse was so delicious that I went back for seconds, but it was already sold out. A lovely female staff member immediately noticed me standing there and kindly helped me out. In the morning, when I felt the sunlight was too bright, another staff member promptly lowered the roller shade for me—always anticipating our needs with thoughtful care. Both were female staff members, and their hospitality was truly soothing. I’d love to share and promote this on social media!

    I stayed here because there was a live concert nearby. It didn’t take long even on foot, which was convenient. The Room was clean and had a calm atmosphere. There were probably many guests, but it was quiet and I could relax. Breakfast was very satisfying—I don’t think I’ve ever stayed for about an hour and a half before. Since it was Sunday morning, I thought it might be crowded, but surprisingly it felt spacious, and I could enjoy my meal at ease. The staff were very attentive, which I appreciated. I’d like to stay here again on concert days. Thank you very much.
