Convenient location
I took my partner to Kyoto for the first time, and it was a very convenient location for sightseeing, and the breakfast was very delicious. The room was sufficiently spacious, and the amenities were excellent, but all the windows were covered with shades like shoji screens, which was a bit tough for me as I have a touch of claustrophobia. The hotel as a whole was much smaller than it looked in the photos, and I got the impression that a multiple night stay might be tough. Regarding breakfast, I had informed them in advance that my partner is not fond of seafood, but they did not omit or replace it with something else. The staff were all pleasant and provided good service.

This is the hotel with the most stays among the hotels I stay at throughout the year. I like it that much. My husband says that even if we stop staying in Kyoto, we can't miss this one. Being able to take off your shoes during meals is also a relaxing point. Thank you to the manager and all the staff, as always.

It was quiet and nice.
It was a small Stays, but it was quiet and nice. The large cypress bath was soothing during the trip. The bed was large, and I slept very well, which was very satisfying. Unfortunately, I didn't choose the meal as it was meat dishes, but I went nearby for breakfast. Since I have become accustomed to Kyoto, it seemed good despite being a little inconvenient. I couldn't finish the drinks in the refrigerator. Since I don't drink alcohol, soft drinks would have been better. The pajamas were also soft and nice.

The room is designed...
The room is designed in a traditional Kyoto style. It is quiet, calm, and has a comfortable atmosphere. When leaving, they kindly helped carry our bags to the car parked a little distance away. As we said our goodbyes and drove off, I glanced in the mirror and saw the female staff waving us off until our car was out of sight. I was overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude and emotion. Thank you for the impressive hospitality.

Authentic Hidden Onsen Stays in Kyoto
The guest rooms, all 12 Rooms named after the old lunar month's aliases, are not numerous, but each Room's quality is exceptionally high, equipped with a cypress bath. The amenities and complimentary drinks provided also convey a strong sense of hospitality, making you want to visit again once you've been. I live in Kyoto, and this is my third visit. It's not just the Rooms that are wonderful; the meals are also something I look forward to every time. The course meals prepared by the meat kappo restaurant Futago-san are excellent in presentation, taste, and service, and it's rare to find such exceptional hospitality elsewhere. There is a sauna on the rooftop for an additional fee. I will visit again.
