    Summer in Kyoto

    It was my first time visiting Kyoto in summer in a while.\nSince there were three of us including my grandchild, we looked for an Accommodation that could host three people, and it exceeded our expectations.\nThe Room was clean, spacious, quiet, and well stocked with amenities.\nWe only had breakfast, but the freshly cooked rice was very delicious.\nI wanted to try rice with raw egg.\nThe service was also good.\nI think a different atmosphere from everyday life is important when traveling, and we really got to enjoy that sense of escape.\nEven my young grandchild was satisfied.

    It was a wonderful trip.

    When planning our trip to Kyoto, we chose this Accommodation because it had excellent Reviews across multiple travel sites. It turned out to be a wonderful Accommodation, just as the Reviews said. In addition to the staff’s kind service, the highly rated meals mentioned in many Reviews, and the comfortable Room, it was also conveniently located near various sightseeing spots. Thanks to that, we were able to visit famous places after check-in, after dinner, and again early in the morning. Also, the Hotel’s own branded rice served at both dinner and breakfast was cooked with exactly the right texture and moisture for our family’s taste—everyone felt it might have been the best we’ve ever had. One request: since only one towel per person was provided in the Room, we sometimes had to reuse towels that hadn’t fully dried each time we enjoyed the hinoki bath. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip—thank you very much. We will visit again in a different season.

    The Best Kyoto Trip

    The staff’s hospitality was outstanding. The Room was clean, and the bath was very relaxing. There were plenty of drinks and snacks provided, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also delicious, especially the rice-based dishes.

    We stayed as a famil...

    We stayed as a family of three. This time, we chose this Accommodation for my husband’s birthday trip, and the thoughtful care from all the staff was truly wonderful, making it a trip we will always remember. They prepared a bed for our newborn daughter and showed such attentive consideration during meals as well, so we felt at ease throughout our stay. They also arranged a surprise dessert plate for my husband, and even gave us a heartfelt gift to take home when we left—we were deeply moved. Thanks to you, it became an unforgettable birthday for him. In the Room, we enjoyed watching movies at our leisure with the projector—something we don’t often get to experience—and we were also able to spend luxurious time in the open-air bath. We are sincerely grateful that we could spend such an irreplaceable time together as a family of three in such a lovely Room. We would love to visit again in another season. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality.

    The meat kaiseki was excellent.

    This was my first stay, and I had been really looking forward to the highly rated cuisine at Nikukappo Futago. To be honest, I was a little worried that the dishes might feel too rich for me now, but those concerns were unfounded. The food was truly outstanding—despite beef being used in every dish, it never felt heavy at all. It was an excellent course meal and I was completely satisfied. Breakfast was also delicious. This time we enjoyed the summer course, and I would love to try a course from another season as well. Beyond the food, the service was also very pleasing; although many of the staff are young, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. I have no complaints about the Room or bath facilities, but if I had to mention one thing, I would like a TV in the Room even if it’s small. Other than that, there were no issues at all. I look forward to visiting again for another wonderful meal. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    This time, an electronic incense burner was provided in the Room, and the staff explained how to use it. The instructions also said the fragrance would spread throughout the Room, and it really did—the entire Room smelled wonderful. It was both calming and soothing. A little while ago, the cups by the sink were changed as well. With a great color tone and a lid featuring the Hotel name and logo, they look stylish and match the washroom perfectly. I think it’s a very good Hotel with a strong sense of consistency throughout.

    Soaking in the large...

    Soaking in the large hinoki bath lets you fully relax and wash away your fatigue. This time I had a Multiple Night Stay, and I was able to take it easy—the time flew by. There was bamboo shoot at dinner the day before, so I thought, “I’d love to have bamboo shoot rice tomorrow night,” but decided not to request it… and then—what a surprise! Bamboo shoot rice was prepared for dinner. I was so happy I could hardly contain myself (lol). Also, during my Multiple Night Stay—and even when I stayed twice in one month—you kindly changed the meal menu for me each time. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration. Dinner is perfect, and it’s rare to find a Hotel with such delicious breakfast; after eating breakfast here, other Hotel breakfasts just don’t compare.

    We stayed during the Golden Week holidays, and it is a truly wonderful Hotel. My family was very satisfied with the staff’s thoughtful hospitality and the delicious meals. It was our first trip to Kyoto, and thanks to all the support from everyone at the Hotel, we had a very fulfilling Golden Week. If we have another chance to visit Kyoto, we would definitely stay again.

    Thank you for taking care of us again this year. The first time, we wondered where on earth we were heading before we arrived, but after sightseeing, it’s perfect for us when we want to relax somewhere quiet. The comforting hospitality was just the same as always, and the in-Room welcome gift had been upgraded—we were both thrilled. The twins’ cooking was as delicious as ever, and the staff’s attentiveness was unchanged. Even our hard-to-please grandchild stayed in a great mood thanks to the lovely staff member who greeted them with a smile, so my daughter and I could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. Thank you very much. See you again next year! We look forward to it.

    I stayed at another wonderful accommodation in Kyoto.

    The entrance is a bit long and narrow, but that actually added to the Kyoto vibe and was great. The hinoki bath I was looking forward to did not disappoint—I was able to fully enjoy a wonderful fragrance that you don’t often get to experience in everyday life. I heard there’s no TV in the Room, but you kindly provided a projector (I’m not used to living without a TV…), and I enjoyed watching on a screen size you wouldn’t have at home. Breakfast was also very satisfying. Normally, I look for “Kyoto-style breakfast” elsewhere and sometimes don’t eat at the Accommodation, but choosing the breakfast plan this time was absolutely the right call. The only disappointment was that I couldn’t see the moon from the rooftop at night (as shown on your website), because it had unfortunately been turned into a sauna area.

    A Hotel Overflowing with Hospitality

    The Hotel staff were truly courteous and warm, making my stay very peaceful. The Room was exceptionally clean, with excellent amenities and supplies, and the spacious hinoki bath was absolutely wonderful! I had a blissful time feeling completely removed from everyday life.

    Spacious Room

    The Room was spacious with a separate bath and toilet, and the large hinoki bathtub was excellent. The Hotel staff, including the receptionists and cleaning staff, were all very pleasant and made me feel at ease. I would love to stay in a different Room next time. Thank you very much!

    Always satisfied with my stay. Time flies by so quickly here. This time, I had an injury on my hand, and I truly appreciate the staff's thoughtful assistance during meals. The same care was extended in the morning as well, which was very helpful. Thank you so much. The cookies given as a souvenir upon departure are delicious and bring such joy. I believe this is a Hotel that truly attracts people.

    It was excellent.

    The room was clean, and this might be one of the few hotels near Kyoto Station where you can enjoy a hinoki wood bath. All the staff had excellent hospitality, and their service was great. The hairdryer provided was ReFa, which is a nice touch for women. Overall, it’s an accommodation that offers high satisfaction. Thank you for your hospitality.

    A wonderful accommodation.

    I stayed for one night this time. The room and the bath were wonderful, and it was the most impressive accommodation I have ever experienced.     Wonderful Hotel

    The Hotel building is small and a bit hard to find, but when I called for directions, the Hotel staff kindly came out and explained everything thoroughly. The Room had no window, except for one on the bathroom side, but the view was not great. However, the overflowing hospitality of the staff made up for it. I added dinner and breakfast to my stay, and the delicious meat course at night along with attentive service truly healed both my heart and body. I was so excited about breakfast that I couldn’t wait! As a coffee lover, I was delighted to find coffee in my preferred taste available in the Room along with complimentary snacks and drinks in sufficient quantities—it was excellent. All of the staff were incredibly kind, making my stay genuinely pleasant. Thank you very much!

    "Our family has decided: whenever we visit Kyoto, we'll stay here!"

    It was the best Hotel experience our family has ever had. (Excluding room size and view, as it is located in the center of Kyoto.) Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful time. The attention to detail was impeccable, allowing us to enjoy a very comfortable stay. We chose this Hotel because of its excellent Reviews during the Reservation process, and it exceeded those expectations. The food was absolutely delicious. When traveling as a family, it's often hard to satisfy everyone's tastes—parents might love it while kids don't—but all four of us agreed that everything was amazing! Our elementary school-aged children usually leave food behind when served adult portions, but this time they ate everything because it was so good (even though they said their stomachs were full!). We initially worried about whether we could finish the beef course meal we reserved, but the portions were perfectly adjusted and thoughtfully prepared for enjoyment until the very last bite. The meal alone makes us want to return just for another taste! The timing of each dish being served matched our pace perfectly—it felt like magic! We enjoyed various ways of eating beef; it made dining fun and exciting. The freshly cooked white rice at the end was also delightful. For any leftovers, they kindly made rice balls for us to take away—we enjoyed them after using the sauna later on, and even cold, they tasted fantastic! The private sauna experience was relaxing with aromatic options provided; we had a great time as a family there too. Although it was cloudy during our visit, next time we'd love to enjoy it under clear night skies!

    The hospitality is excellent.

    Opted for the second-highest room in this small luxury accommodation. The amenities, hinoki bath, hospitality from the front desk and dining staff were excellent. However, being located in the city center meant there were no windows, which felt a bit claustrophobic and made it hard to stay for long. If meals are not included at the accommodation, the price feels a bit high. The highest-ranked rooms seem to have open-air baths and might offer more satisfaction. I highly recommend enjoying their meat kaiseki cuisine for an overall fulfilling experience. The inclusion of a hinoki bath is truly wonderful!

    Summer Trip with My Daughter

    This is our third visit this year. Kyoto offers plenty of delicious food and many wonderful Hotels, but Juné Hotel is a place we want to visit at least once a year. The staff are kind and provide heartfelt service. The Room with tatami flooring feels calming, and the hinoki bath is spacious and comfortable. Above all, the highlight of our stay is always the cuisine at "Niku Kappo Futago." Although I usually can't eat much meat, their dishes allow us to enjoy various arrangements in small portions. We are always completely satisfied. Every time we leave, we find ourselves thinking about coming back next year again. One small regret is that we're always so full that we can hardly drink the delicious-looking juices prepared in the Room (laughs). This year as well, there were fruit daifuku provided for us—they looked so tempting that I forced myself to eat them in the morning despite being full! It was worth it but definitely exceeded my stomach's capacity (laughs). Since we have a cat at home, this was just a short one-day trip for us; however, it was filled with great food and relaxation. Thank you very much to all the staff for your hospitality!

    It was the best stay!

    A small luxury hotel. The bath amenities by MIKIMOTO are a highlight. The spacious hinoki bathtub fills the air with a soothing hinoki aroma, offering satisfaction even though it is not an Onsen. Enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the on-site restaurant, featuring exquisite meat kaiseki cuisine. Both hotel and restaurant staff provided attentive service, making for a very comfortable stay.

    Wonderful hospitality

    This was my first stay. It was a cozy and lovely hotel. The bath was a large hinoki cypress bath, and the scent of the wood combined with the relaxing tub provided great comfort. I was delighted to find that drinks in the refrigerator were free to enjoy, with a wide variety available. Above all, I was impressed by the meals featuring wagyu shabu-shabu and charcoal-grilled ichibo beef in the morning—truly exceptional cuisine unique to a meat-focused establishment. It was incredibly delicious. There were even cookies as souvenirs; everything felt so thoughtful and luxurious at this wonderful hotel.

    Very good Hotel

    The reception was very polite and left a great impression. The Room was clean and comfortable to stay in. The plum cider in the Room's refrigerator was very delicious, and it’s amazing that it’s free to drink. The bathtub was spacious, allowing for a relaxing experience.

    We had a relaxing stay with my daughter and granddaughter again this time. Thank you very much. At first, I felt a bit lonely without a TV, but the quiet time was comforting, making me reflect on always having it on at home. The corners of the bed were protected with cushioning material, as someone mentioned before, which made it safe for my young granddaughter. Enjoying the delicious meals prepared by Futago-san is always one of the highlights. We look forward to visiting again!

    Beautiful Hotel with Abundant Hospitality

    I stayed at the Bamboo Suite. It was a lovely room as expected, and I was able to relax. I was pleased to find tea leaves of sencha, genmaicha, and hojicha available. Also, every time I passed the reception, the staff greeted me with a smile, and they were very kind to my child who fell ill, which made me very happy. I would like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto.
