    Hotel with a View of Mount Fuji

    I decided to see the snow-capped Mt. Fuji and stayed here with my mother on short notice. Thank you for upgrading our Room. While soaking in the open-air bath, my mother was so moved that she clasped her hands in gratitude—I could feel her emotions deeply. The dinner was delicious, and even my 90-year-old mother finished everything. The foreign female staff at the front desk provided wonderful service. The two days spent as if facing Mt. Fuji became a cherished memory for us.

    Mount Fuji

    The highlight is undoubtedly the view of Mt. Fuji from the window! It was absolutely stunning. I watched it continuously from 5 AM, just before sunrise. The weather was perfect, making it an unforgettable experience.

    Accommodation with Stunning Views of Mount Fuji and Delightful Meals

    I found an accommodation where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji on IKYU and stayed here for the first time. Here are my impressions: 1. You can truly see a stunning view of Mt. Fuji. Highly recommended for those who want to admire Mt. Fuji! 2. For dinner, I had the course meal "Le Mont," which was absolutely delicious and satisfying. Breakfast was also very tasty! 3. The bath offers an amazing view, but it is slightly small, so you might not be able to use the open-air bath when there are many people around. 4. At check-in, I was advised not to leave the windows open due to insects, so I was careful; however, unfortunately, some insects appeared in the room later on. When I reported this issue, it was handled promptly. What impressed me most came afterward. While apologies from staff visiting the room were expected, I also received words of apology and care from various other staff members such as front desk and restaurant employees whenever we met. I was amazed and moved by how they shared negative feedback effectively among their team and used it to improve their service. This is an accommodation I would definitely visit again when going to see Mt. Fuji! Highly recommended for everyone!

    Enjoy a luxurious experience with endless views of Mount Fuji!

    I had heard from my parents that the French course was delicious, and since I had plans to visit Gotemba Outlet, I was lucky to find an available room even though it was the day before. We stayed in a small suite for three people, and the view of Mt. Fuji from the room window was absolutely stunning! Then came the much-anticipated dinner. Every dish was not overly elaborate but clearly prepared with care—truly delicious cuisine. The bread was so good that even though I knew I'd feel too full, I couldn't leave any behind! At night, although the public bath is small and not as grand as those at Onsen accommodations, soaking multiple times in its silky water helped me fully relax and recover from travel fatigue. And then came morning... The sunrise over Mt. Fuji was breathtaking!! Bathing while enjoying such a view of Mt. Fuji followed by a delicious breakfast made for an incredibly luxurious experience—a truly satisfying stay. Although it can't be helped since we used an extra bed in a triple room, the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable to sleep on... But I'd love to visit again! Thank you for your hospitality!

    The dinner exceeded expectations with exceptional quality.

    We stayed at this accommodation for the first time during a family trip with two nights near Mount Fuji. For one night, we chose a more luxurious accommodation, and for the other, we opted for this place with relatively reasonable rates. The exterior and room had an older feel due to ongoing construction, but they were quite ordinary. However, the bath facilities were excellent, featuring a small sauna and an open-air bath where you could relax while enjoying views of Mount Fuji. Above all, dinner exceeded our expectations by far. Every dish was meticulously prepared with delicate flavors and surprising textures—some of the best French cuisine we've had in a long time. The restaurant is supervised by a renowned chef, yet it was reasonably priced; honestly, we didn’t expect much but were thoroughly satisfied with the experience. Unfortunately, bad weather prevented us from seeing Mount Fuji towering directly in front of our room this time around. Still, staying here just for the food would be worth it! We’d love to visit again if given another opportunity.

    It was a great stay.

    I booked a hotel with a view of Mount Fuji as requested. Since it was a last-minute reservation, this was the only available accommodation, and honestly, I didn't have high expectations. However, the staff at the front desk and restaurant were all experienced and composed, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the meals were exceptionally delicious. The Japanese-French cuisine was supervised by a renowned chef who has catered for three U.S. presidential inauguration banquets. Having visited many restaurants in Tokyo, I found the dishes here to be creative with diverse flavors and visually stunning—truly satisfying. Local ingredients from Gotemba were used thoughtfully with spices and seasonings that showed great attention to detail. We had a multiple night stay, and both dinners featured different menus over two days. Breakfasts were mostly similar but had some variations as well. Although there wasn’t any traditional Japanese breakfast available—which concerned me slightly since I traveled with my elderly mother—she didn’t experience any discomfort or indigestion from the meals provided. For those traveling by car, there was an extensive selection of non-alcoholic beverages alongside an impressive wine menu. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji from our room—it appeared incredibly large and beautiful! We could see it clearly during sunrise or just before dawn when it turned into "Red Fuji." It’s rare to find accommodation offering such an unobstructed view directly facing Mount Fuji; we were deeply moved by this experience. Although clouds occasionally obscured parts of it during our stay overall we enjoyed stunning views throughout most times.The room itself faced towards Mt.Fuji & maintained excellent cleanliness despite some reviews mentioning its age.Free bottled water & coffee along w/ tap-accessible Mt.Fuji springwater added convenience.Two TVs accommodated spacious layout.Lounge offered complimentary drinks/snacks including manga collections.Private workspaces seemed available too.Onsen facilities though compact included indoor/outdoor baths(2each)featuring high-quality springwater enhancing relaxation.GotembaOutletMall10min drive away&FujiSafariPark30-40min reachable.Parking entrance slightly tricky locating yet entire visit felt memorable thanks attentive professional service ensuring comfortable enjoyable time.Appreciate wonderful hospitality!

    It was my first time.

    It wasn't necessarily bad, but since it was a Hotel with a relatively high price, I assumed it would be quiet. The floor I stayed on had a group of students, and there was a note mentioning "school trip students," so it must have been for a school trip. They were talking loudly in the hallway, leaving their Room doors open, and moving around in large groups. As I was seeking relaxation after work, this was quite shocking. I wish there had been an announcement during the Reservation process about the presence of school trip students since it's not a large Hotel. Not being prepared for this made the experience more overwhelming than expected.

    Best for Viewing Mount Fuji

    Stayed on the Mt. Fuji side and had a great view from the room, but even on the Hakone side, there are plenty of shared observation spaces to enjoy the view. The bath and open-air bath are conveniently located on the 5th floor of the Hotel, providing peace of mind. Advice for visitors: The location is in a mountain area with nothing around (in exchange for great scenery), so bringing snacks is recommended. We planned to have dinner at an outlet mall and did not include dinner at the Hotel, which left us feeling slightly hungry later. Breakfast was a Western-style set meal. While I usually prefer buffet-style for eating more, at this Hotel it’s more meaningful to enjoy a served breakfast while taking in views of Mt. Fuji leisurely.

    Mount Fuji

    I stayed for one night with my elderly mother to see Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, the weather was not favorable, and we could only catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji through the clouds. However, the reception staff quickly brought a wheelchair for us, and the restaurant staff were very kind. Each dish was exceptionally delicious. Although it is a small Hotel, it had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My mother and I talked about wanting to visit again as we left. Thank you for making it a wonderful trip.

    A Hotel You'll Want to Visit Again

    The accommodation provided excellent support by promptly addressing concerns via email before our stay, and the pleasant service on the day made our experience very comfortable. The onsen was easily accessible from the room, and perhaps because it was a weekday, it was never crowded. We enjoyed the indoor bath, outdoor bath, sauna, and cold bath in sequence. Breakfast was delightful, with perfectly cooked eggs in the Eggs Benedict and flavorful dishes like edamame hummus. It was so delicious that we regretted not having dinner there and decided to book a dinner-inclusive stay next time. In addition to the onsen, the lounge and sports arena facilities were well-equipped and enjoyable. Although the weather was cloudy, we couldn't help but imagine how breathtaking it would be to see Mount Fuji in clear view. This is definitely a hotel worth revisiting. Cleansing products and other toiletries are available both in the room and at the large public bath, so there's no need to bring your own. However, one minor point is that the quality of the room wear and slippers provided could be improved. If you are particular about texture or comfort, it might be better to bring your own.

    I stayed here to attend the Initial D 30th Anniversary Event! It was a breakfast-only Plan, but each dish was carefully prepared and truly impressive! Everything was delicious! The staff in the dining hall were efficient and professional, with seamless service!

    Relax and enjoy to the fullest!

    I decided to go on a trip since I had some free time, and I chose this hotel based on the reviews. It was exactly as described, and I had a wonderful stay. The view of Mt. Fuji, the bath, the meals, and the staff's hospitality were truly excellent. I made another reservation because I want to see Mt. Fuji covered in snow. This is my genuine review.

    I have been a fan since the Lala Gotemba era. The service is excellent, and above all, the dinner is incredibly delicious. I’ve visited Gotemba and Hakone many times, but my main purpose for traveling now is to stay at Rembrandt Gotemba rather than sightseeing. I’d love to invite my friends next time!

    We stayed here to fulfill my elderly mother's dream of seeing Mount Fuji with her own eyes at least once. The staff at the front desk, the restaurant, and all employees were incredibly kind. We are truly grateful for their thoughtful care and attention. On the first day, we were able to see a beautiful view of Mount Fuji and shared a deeply moving moment together. It became a wonderful memory for my mother. She now has a new goal of seeing snow-capped Mount Fuji, so we look forward to staying here again when that time comes!

    This was my first stay, and I was extremely satisfied with the excellent location offering stunning views of Mt. Fuji and the incredibly delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast, showcasing the chef's exceptional skills.     I felt the warmth of hospitality.

    In August, to celebrate my birthday, I traveled a bit farther than usual and visited Gotemba for the first time. On the first day, I couldn’t see Mount Fuji at all due to summer haze. However, the next morning, I was truly moved by the clear view of Mount Fuji all the way down to its base! It really is Japan’s most magnificent mountain—so beautiful. Just gazing at it made me feel a sense of serenity and awe. The fact that you can enjoy this stunning view from any window in the Hotel is its greatest charm. The Hotel staff were all very kind, and my Room was upgraded to a suite. The celebratory chocolate plate with dessert during dinner was delicious and made me so happy! Thank you so much!

    The accommodation is located on a hill, offering beautiful views of Mount Fuji on clear days, though it was cloudy during the stay, allowing only partial views. You can enjoy activities like squash and table tennis in the arena. The lounge offers drinks such as juice and coffee, providing a relaxing time while admiring Mount Fuji. The dinner was delicious. Breakfast was tasty but felt slightly insufficient in quantity. From the room, despite the cloudy weather, partial views of Mount Fuji were visible and appreciated. The outdoor bath is small, which is a bit disappointing; however, depending on timing, you can enjoy it while gazing at Mount Fuji if no one else is around. While dependent on Mount Fuji's weather conditions, overall this hotel provides an extremely satisfying experience.

    I chose this Hotel hoping to see Mt. Fuji, but unfortunately, due to severe weather, I could only catch a glimpse during my 3-day stay. That was the only disappointment as everything else about the Hotel was exceptional. I had reserved a standard suite but was graciously upgraded to the largest suite type, for which I am very grateful. While the design and interior are older, they feature luxurious materials from the bubble era that exude elegance despite not following current trends. The room and facilities were impeccably clean and well-maintained, making for a very pleasant stay. The suite was incredibly spacious—so much so that it felt like you could run down its long hallway reminiscent of an overseas mansion. The large public bath and open-air onsen were delightful, and the French course meal was by far the best I've had in recent times! Additionally, the Lomi Lomi massage at the spa was absolutely amazing! As someone who enjoys spa treatments as a hobby and considers myself quite discerning in this area—I must say it’s rare to encounter such a skilled therapist! I’m already planning another visit within this year just to experience their massage again and savor their cuisine once more. All of the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. It truly became an unforgettable memory for me. Thank you so much!

    The pricing for the ...

    The pricing for the service seems a bit high, possibly due to the view of Mt. Fuji. The Room is a Japanese-style room on the Mt. Fuji side, spacious enough for three adults to lie side by side. Futons are prepared individually as stated in the Plan description. The basic Plan meal featured herb-grilled pork as the main dish. For those expecting a standard course with both fish and meat, it might be disappointing. The bath is not very spacious either.

    If you want to enjoy views of Mt. Fuji

    The view is spectacular. You can enjoy the majestic Mount Fuji from anywhere within the Facility. The meals and baths are not bad, but unfortunately, the building and some of the facilities are too old. A bit more effort should be made to renovate the interior and update the facilities. The deterioration of fittings, in particular, is quite noticeable. As for meals, while they are not bad, the portions may be too large for Japanese guests. A course with smaller portions focusing on quality might be a good option.

    Exciting Hotel

    I have stayed at various accommodations, but it is rare to find such a retro and highly designed hotel. The view of Mount Fuji from the entrance and the large public bath is breathtaking, like a painting. The lounge, onsen, scenery, room size, cleanliness, and staff service were all excellent, making for a very satisfying stay that keeps me coming back. If you visit Gotemba, this accommodation is definitely worth staying at least once!

    Rembrandt Premium Fuji Gotemba

    It was my first stay in years. Perhaps because it was a relatively quiet day, I hardly encountered other guests from check-in to check-out. I heard that the spacious Japanese-style Room was originally part of a corporate retreat Facility, which explains its unexpectedly luxurious design. Both the Room and the bath offer views of Mt. Fuji. Unfortunately, Mt. Fuji was obscured by haze on the day of my visit, but the staff were pleasant, and I look forward to visiting again.

    The Onsen is excellent!

    I stayed for two nights during the rainy season, but it was absolutely satisfying. The building has a solid and calm atmosphere, surrounded by nature with fresh air, stunning views, and an Onsen that made my stay very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I added breakfast to my stay and enjoyed carefully prepared dishes made with quality ingredients—it was delicious. The lounge had a large collection of manga, which kept the kids entertained! We also loved the free apple juice and coffee available there, using it multiple times. Being close to the Higashiyama area allowed for a peaceful and relaxing experience. We tried horseback riding at a nearby club for the first time, visited wind caves, and even went to an outlet mall. It was a perfect trip filled with water, Onsen relaxation, and smiles! I would love to visit again.

    Average Hotel

    At check-in, we were told our Room had been upgraded, which made us very happy. However, the Room was just spacious and felt underwhelming. The most unpleasant part was the hallway from the elevator to the Room, which had an indescribable smell that made us hold our breath while walking through it. We asked the front desk to move us back to our original Room due to the smell, but they informed us that it was already occupied by another guest. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were very delicious. It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t enjoy our stay more because of that smell.

    The meals are incredibly delicious!

    Stylish building, but the rooms have few outlets due to its age, which is a bit inconvenient. However, the meals were excellent, which brought me back for a second stay. Unique Japanese-French cuisine that you won't find elsewhere. While it's pricey, the flavors were unforgettable. The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you very much!

    Rich Table

    The rumored exquisite dining spécialité truly lived up to expectations, with even the bread being exceptional. It left us wondering when we could return next. Unfortunately, the open-air bath was unavailable due to renovations this time, but we were delighted to be accommodated in a major suite. We also enjoyed table tennis and auto tennis, and the next morning, we were treated to an unexpected snow-view bath. It was a relaxing and peaceful stay overall.
