    Whenever I’m on a business trip to Kanagawa, I always stay here as my regular Accommodation. Although this Hotel is close to the station, it’s very quiet, so I can truly relax and sleep well. This time, after checking in and doing office work in my Room, loud music was playing from the neighboring Room and it was unpleasant, so I consulted the front desk. They immediately changed me to another Room. I believe this prompt response also proves how comfortable this Hotel is. I would like to continue staying here.

    Perfect for a Hotel stay as well.

    The lobby and front desk staff always greeted us and were very polite and kind. The complimentary drink service and amenities were great. Our Room was on the top floor, with a view of Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower in the distance from the window. It’s a quiet Hotel where you can relax at ease. The smart TV was also nice. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the omelet was especially delicious. The parking staff were also helpful, making it easy to use. We will come again.

    A must-stay Hotel for concerts at Muza Kawasaki!

    This is my fifth year staying here during the annual Summer Muza festival. After the concert, avoiding the crowded streets in the intense heat and being able to walk just one minute back to the Hotel is incredibly comfortable—my little luxury. The exceptional comfort of staying at this hospitality-filled Hotel has remained unchanged for five years and has never disappointed me. It’s also wonderful that they accommodate my usual requests even when I don’t specifically ask. I’m planning to visit again in mid-month!

    This is our go-to accommodation.

    Whenever I go to Tokyo, I stay here. The bath, toilet, and washbasin are all separate, which makes it very convenient to use. Plus, the toilet is a TOTO—exactly what I want. They also upgraded my room with the Diamond benefit. There were so many breakfast options that I couldn’t finish everything. When I was younger, I would have gone back for seconds or thirds, but now once is enough—which feels a bit sad—but for now this is my regular Accommodation in Tokyo.

    I’ve become a regular guest.

    This was our first stay since having a child, and we were able to relax together in a clean Room. Breakfast was a bit hectic with our child, but we truly appreciated the staff’s thoughtful care.

    It was a comfortable and wonderful Hotel stay.

    This Hotel is conveniently located right near the station, with a shopping mall nearby as well. The check-in and check-out service was courteous and made us feel welcome. The Room was spacious, and we were thrilled to enjoy panoramic views of Tokyo Tower, the Skytree, and the Shinjuku skyline in the distance. The bed was large, and we could relax in the bathroom with a separate washing area. Breakfast was excellent—there were many Japanese dishes such as nikujaga, all very tasty. In particular, the omelet was outstanding; we could choose the fillings and sauce, and it was delicious. The staff promptly cleared used plates and glasses and always greeted us pleasantly each time, which impressed us. We would like to stay here again.

    Comfortable!

    The Hotel is close to the station and very clean, so I had a comfortable stay. I was delighted to find skincare items like toner and bath salts provided! I’d love to stay here again!

    Conveniently located near the station.

    It’s about a 5-minute walk from the ticket gates at Kawasaki Station. The location is also convenient for getting into central Tokyo, and compared with staying in Tokyo—where a Room is often around 15–20 m²—this one is over 30 m², with separate bath and toilet, so you can relax comfortably. During my stay, I couldn’t find sleepwear (pajamas) and requested an extra set, which was provided promptly. However, after searching the Room more carefully, I found that sleepwear was already there. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by my oversight.

    Very comfortable.

    I have stayed here several times, and the staff are always wonderful. The Room is clean, so I can enjoy a comfortable stay every time. This time I did not choose a Plan with meals, but the food is delicious as well, so the next time I stay near Kawasaki Station, I will definitely want to stay at Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki again.

    Thank you very much for the upgrade. The Room was very functional and spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. In particular, the bathtub was large enough to fully stretch out my legs, so I ended up soaking for quite a long time. At breakfast, I especially enjoyed the almond tofu. It had a gentle almond aroma and a refined, subtly sweet flavor that I really liked. It’s also just one JR stop from Shinagawa and takes less than 10 minutes, so considering how much Hotel prices in Tokyo have risen recently, I think this could definitely be a strong Accommodation option for business trips to Tokyo.     Convenient access, reachable via both JR and Keikyu lines Close to the station, with parking available Great that it works well whether you come by train or by car There are many shopping facilities around the station, so you won’t have trouble finding what you need The Hotel itself is new, so it’s clean and comfortable There is also a desk for studying (this time it was a table) The elevator arrives quickly, so even if you want to ride separately for infection prevention, it’s fine

    In Front of Kawasaki Station

    Easy to use Clean, quiet, and the parking lot is easy to find. Convenient whether you come by train or by car. We stayed in Rooms for studying and reserved one Room each for our family of four. We used it this time for an exam. If you’re going to Kawasaki for business or an exam, I think this is a great choice.

    It was a stylish, urban, and functional Hotel. The Room was also very practical, and I slept well.     Very good Hotel

    As soon as we entered the Hotel, the staff came running to assist us. The front desk lady greeted us with a smile and provided a detailed explanation. The guest room was clean and tidy. The restaurant served delicious food, and the service was impeccable. We truly felt the hospitality of all the staff members. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again.

    Excellent service.

    The reception service was excellent, and despite the parking lot being a shared space with other businesses, the person in charge of parking made quick decisions, allowing us to park without any issues. The Room was new, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Thank you very much!

    The view was excellent.

    This was my first stay. The accommodation is close to Kawasaki Station, and there are many restaurants nearby, so finding meals was not an issue. From the top floor, I had a great view of airplanes from Haneda Airport as well as the Bay Bridge. The room was compact, well-organized, and clean. I wished there had been a bucket in the bathroom.

    【Guest Room & Amenities】 The double room reserved for two people in two rooms was located on the 4th floor, two floors above the lobby, offering a train enthusiast's dream view of the station platform. The room was spacious enough for single use, exceptionally clean, and exuded a sense of cleanliness. The amenities in the room were well-stocked, including bubble bath products, leaving nothing lacking. Cleanliness is paramount for any accommodation. 【Service & Hospitality】 The parking system allowed early entry regardless of check-in time with a flat 24-hour rate, which was very convenient. Although there are times during late night to early morning when entry and exit are restricted, it posed no issues operationally. Hotel guests' cars were prioritized for mechanical parking depending on size; however, as it is a new facility, there was no risk of scratching tires or wheels during use. It made parking smooth and hassle-free. As this was one of several repeat stays at this hotel but with some time between visits causing memory lapses about directions between the parking lot and hotel entrance—additional signage would be helpful. 【Onsen & Bath】 There is only an en-suite bathroom in each guest room without any large public baths or Onsen facilities available; however—the bathtub inside each guestroom offered ample space while maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards that ensured comfort throughout my stay! While having access to communal bathing areas would elevate personal satisfaction levels further—this private setup ranks among top-tier experiences nonetheless! 【Facilities & Equipment】 I completely forgot about their gym located on Floor 3 until noticing lights illuminated from outside upon returning later into my stay—it jogged memories regarding laundry services nearby too! Upon visiting again indoors amidst harsh winter winds lowering outdoor temperatures drastically—a warm indoor running option proved invaluable thanks entirely due toward such thoughtful provisions provided here! 【Dining Experience】 Breakfast buffet offerings stood out positively starting earlier than usual (6:30 AM), featuring diverse selections spanning Japanese/Western/Chinese cuisines catering especially towards international travelers alongside traditional Japanese dishes like tuna sashimi being personal favorites enjoyed thoroughly myself included!     We were very satisfied.

    The Room was very clean, and the bed and bathroom were spacious, so we had a comfortable stay. The vanity area was also large, and a magnifying mirror for makeup was provided, which was very convenient. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options and was delicious. Above all, the hotel is directly connected to JR Kawasaki Station, and the affiliated parking is also convenient. If I may make one small request, I would appreciate it if a foldable chair were available at the vanity. It would be nice to be able to sit down while using the hair dryer or applying makeup at a relaxed pace.

    Wonderful Hotel

    I always use this place as it is conveniently located near Kawasaki Station. The Room is clean, with a bath that includes a washing area and a separate toilet, which is ideal. The front desk and bell service are all excellent. I will definitely choose this place when visiting the Tokyo area.

    This was my first stay. The room was very clean and well-organized. It is conveniently located near Kawasaki Station, with a shopping mall nearby, so finding meals is not an issue. My companion tried the breakfast buffet and said it was very delicious. I would love to stay at this hotel again.

    Breakfast was disappointing.

    The breakfast was very delicious during my previous stay, which is why I decided to return. However, this time, the quality seemed to have dropped significantly, which was disappointing. It would be nice to have sparkling wine in the morning or soft serve ice cream even in winter. The bread was not tasty. The miso soup was lukewarm. Having cutlery and napkins already set on the table is convenient, but it would be appreciated if wet wipes or paper napkins were also readily available without needing to ask for them each time. The staff, including those at the front desk, were very pleasant and welcoming.

    Meals and Illuminations

    I stayed at the accommodation to enjoy the hotel's meals and see Yokohama's illuminations. I initially wanted to stay for two nights, but since my legs have been hurting since around October, I decided to spend the second night at the JR Hotel in Sakuragicho this time. My companion is particularly fond of the meals here, especially the buffet (dinner last time and lunch this time), and insisted it was a must, so staying two nights in Sakuragicho was ruled out. It was our first time having breakfast here, and it seemed just as excellent. The only slight disappointment was that during my previous stays, both rooms were on the railway side with toilets located further inside; however, this time my room was on the opposite side near the door, which made it less convenient to use. The food here is tastier overall, and although I thought Sakuragicho would be far away, it actually took only about 20 minutes sitting on a train to get there. In hindsight, staying two nights here would have been a good option too!

    Scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet are on the firmer side.

    The separate bathtub and sink are convenient, and having access to U-NEXT is a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was slightly disappointing as the scrambled eggs were firm rather than creamy, and the croissants felt hard and dry unless toasted. The Facility and cleanliness are impeccable. However, it is concerning that the emergency stairs can only be used in emergencies, leaving elevators as the sole option, and the fixed windows cannot be opened during disasters.

    About the value of 4,400 yen

    I usually use the site about once a week to make a Reservation. Recently, I made a Reservation through the same site and chose the Plan listed at the top (later realizing it was for check-in at 8:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM). When I inquired whether the Room would be ready if I arrived around 6:00 PM and whether there would be any additional charges, I was told matter-of-factly by an older male front desk staff member that it would cost 2,200 yen per hour. I was quite surprised by his businesslike response. Just now, I compared the same Room's Plan and price on the same site again. The difference between an 8:00 PM check-in and a 6:00 PM check-in is only 362 yen, while the difference between an 8:00 PM check-in and a standard (3:00 PM) check-in is just 718 yen. Honestly speaking, I felt disappointed. While it may not be possible to say something like "If you rebook your Reservation, you can Change it for just a difference of 362 yen," it seems strange that they couldn't even mention something like "Please note your arrival time as we offer various Plans." My arrival time and checkout time have always been consistent every time I've stayed here over this past year. While I'm not asking them to remember me specifically, other Hotels in Tokyo where I stay weekly provide genuine hospitality that makes me wonder what accounts for this stark contrast. (Of course, there are also very pleasant front desk staff members here.) It feels like such wasted potential. If possible, I'd like to have a proper conversation with someone in charge or management about this issue because it's my first experience feeling that an additional fee of 4,400 yen seemed so expensive. While I'm aware that mistakenly booking this Plan was my own fault, I still wanted to share my surprise through this post.

    Thank you for a comfortable stay.

    I had previously made a Reservation for the Metropolitan Hotel at Haneda for next spring, but after reading great Reviews, I decided to stay here in Kawasaki as I had some errands in the area. Upon arrival and departure, the staff immediately noticed me and kindly greeted me, which made me feel very grateful. I had made a Room request over the phone beforehand, and their guidance during that call was very polite, just as described in the Reviews. The Room prepared was exactly as requested. This time, I booked a 23-hour stay Plan with IKYU's special offer. Time flew by so quickly because it was so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave. Although my Room was on the railway side near the elevator, only faint train sounds could be heard and no human voices at all; thus, I slept soundly through the night. If I have another chance to visit Kawasaki again, I would definitely like to stay here once more. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    My regular accommodation in Kanto!

    A Room with a bathroom featuring a washing area, excellent access to the airport and bullet train, and convenience with places like Lazona and convenience stores nearby— this is my favorite Hotel that fulfills all my wishes! The front desk staff are kind, making for a comfortable stay. Last time, I enjoyed a mini concert at night. This time, thank you for preparing a room with a great view as part of the Diamond benefits. I look forward to staying again!

    First Time in Kawasaki

    I stayed at the hotel because it was the closest to Muza Kawasaki Hall, where a concert was held. It was my first time visiting Kawasaki, and I found it to be a very convenient area. The hotel was also very comfortable. I especially appreciated that the bathroom and toilet were separate, which made it more user-friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and having cutlery already set on the table was very helpful. The staff were incredibly kind and provided excellent service—thank you so much! They even arranged a taxi for me to Haneda Airport, and I realized how close Kawasaki is to Haneda Airport, making access very convenient. Thank you for everything! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Kawasaki.

    Favorite Hotel & Restaurant

    Mr. K at the lobby was very kind and made me happy. Mr. K at the front desk was also polite and perfect. Mr. N and Mr. I at the restaurant were true professionals in hospitality, and another Mr. I had beautiful manners. Chef K's omelet from the live kitchen was a collaboration of beauty and taste. This high-level Hotel & Restaurant is truly a pride of Japan. However, one disappointing thing: since October, there have been no replies from the Hotel to reviews anymore. I believe a good Hotel is created through communication between the Hotel side and its guests, so it's unfortunate that it has become one-sided now. Some guests still receive replies though, which makes me sad as it feels like different treatment for different customers. I really like this Hotel & Restaurant, so I would love to visit again. However, this will be my last review here.
