    The best hotel I have stayed at! The room's bath was great!! However, the food... The breakfast buffet was fine! For dinner, we had both Western and Japanese cuisine.     This was my second stay. I enjoyed the consistently delicious meals. At the restaurant, I dined at a counter with a poolside view, savoring the relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, due to ashfall from Shinmoedake, the open-air bath was unavailable this time. Ash had also accumulated in the private open-air bath in my room, and since the shower couldn't reach it, I had to give up using it. It was an unavoidable natural phenomenon. The spacious room allowed me to relax comfortably, and I look forward to staying in the same type of room next time as well.

    I had a pleasant stay with my beloved dog and elderly mother.

    I wanted to take my elderly mother to stay at a place with an Onsen, and I found one where we could also bring our beloved dog. The Room was not far from the Onsen, and my mother was delighted with the relaxing experience. The staff always greeted us with warm smiles, which left a great impression. Since we don't eat much, we opted out of meals, but we were thoroughly satisfied with the comfort of the Onsen and the excellent service typical of Dormy Inn hotels. We also enjoyed sparkling Koshu wine in mini bottles recommended by the restaurant, sipping it in flute glasses in our Room—it was perfect!

    Excellent!

    We stayed with our dog and were amazed by the impeccable service throughout the facility and room. The meals and bath were absolutely fantastic! We're already talking about coming back with everyone again.

    Premium Onsen

    I recently visited Kagoshima after a long time. Unfortunately, heavy rain prevented me from exploring the area, but indulging in Onsen at the Hotel was truly exceptional. Both the indoor and outdoor baths had perfect water temperature and quality, providing complete relaxation for both body and mind. However, during my time in the outdoor bath, I found the koto music playing in the background slightly distracting. In a space surrounded by natural sounds like frogs croaking, trees swaying in the wind, and the gentle flow of Onsen water, artificial sounds felt out of place. For someone seeking tranquility away from urban noise, I believe an absence of such artificial sounds would enhance serenity even further. Additionally, coffee beans were provided in my Room, allowing me to enjoy a fragrant cup of coffee. The balcony also featured an outdoor bath that I look forward to trying on my next visit. I hope to return soon to experience this luxurious time surrounded by nature and Onsen once again.

    Quiet Rooms

    We chose Kirishima Onsen as our destination for a trip with my 80-year-old mother, as it is about an hour and a half away from Kansai to Kumamoto. For our three-generation family of four, this Hotel was perfect with its separate toilet and bath, Japanese-Western style room or four beds, and private onsen baths available for emergencies. The two-bed private room allowed my mother to maintain her usual lifestyle rhythm without disruption by going to bed early. Meanwhile, my daughters enjoyed chatting while soaking their feet in the open-air onsen under the night sky. The three private onsen baths were not reservation-based but operated on a first-come-first-served basis indicated by panel lights. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use them as they were always occupied when we checked. A reservation system might be more convenient. We had breakfast at the Hotel; it was delicious with a wide variety of dishes. We requested a room near the elevator for my mother’s convenience. Although rooms near elevators can sometimes be noisy due to foot traffic in other hotels, this Hotel was quiet with no disturbances from hallways or neighboring rooms. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. It’s definitely a Hotel we would like to visit again!

    This was our first trip to Kagoshima, and we chose this accommodation because of its great reviews. The location was excellent, the room was clean, and the onsen was amazing! The meals were also delightful, with a Western-style course for dinner and a buffet-style breakfast. Everything tasted wonderful! However, the drinks we tried to order for the kids were quite expensive; it would be nice if there were more reasonably priced options available. We arrived just in time this visit and felt a bit rushed, so next time we plan to arrive earlier and enjoy our stay more leisurely. Our family had an amazing experience overall. Thank you for your hospitality—we will definitely return!

    It was excellent.

    I stayed for one night with breakfast included. The staff welcomed me warmly at the entrance. The private open-air bath was relaxing, especially at night with the sound of insects in the background. The morning bath was also fantastic. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and even though I usually skip breakfast, I couldn't stop eating. I will definitely stay here again. It was a Hotel that perfectly relieved my daily fatigue. Thank you very much!

    Stayed after hiking in Kirishima with a breakfast-included plan. When I inquired about dinner, I was informed it required a reservation by 5 PM. Unfortunately, while deciding, the time ran out, and I couldn't have dinner. However, the breakfast and bath provided the usual satisfaction unique to Kyoritsu. The private open-air bath attached to the room was nice, but the large public bath was overwhelmingly better. I would love to visit again!

    La Vista Kirishima: Rich in Hospitality

    I usually don't write reviews, but I was highly satisfied with my stay and deeply appreciated the staff's hospitality, so I decided to share my experience. This facility offers excellent hospitality from the staff, spacious onsen areas, and rooms that are well-maintained with a clean and stylish design. The balcony, bathtub, bedroom, and living room in the room were all impeccable. It was a very satisfying stay—thank you! While there are many great facilities nearby, I can definitely recommend this one. One thing to note is that meals are served in two shifts: at 5:20 PM and 8:00 PM. Please be aware that if you don't make your request early enough, you might not get your preferred time for dining.

    An accommodation with a rare onsen facility offering open-air baths, private open-air baths (free), reclining baths, semi-open-air baths with onsen in the room, pot baths, stone saunas, dry saunas, and steam saunas.     Fun Hotel!!

    I love saunas, and I am a big fan of the Kyoritsu Resort Group Hotels. This time, I decided to use airline miles for a trip to Kagoshima and made a reservation at this hotel. Thank you for upgrading me to a spacious room during check-in; it allowed me to relax comfortably. Dinner was an Italian course meal, but after the main dish, there was an unexpected service of seasoned rice and soup if you still had room—this was delicious! The restaurant staff were young and very pleasant. Additionally, there was a little treat waiting just outside the restaurant: the familiar "Yonaki Soba" service offered by Kyoritsu Resort, with even a tomato-flavored option that was delightful. The sauna and onsen were excellent, and gazing at the star-filled sky from the open-air bath was breathtaking. In the morning, I could enjoy beautiful views of Sakurajima from my room. From check-in to check-out, there were so many enjoyable services that I can't list them all here. I would love to stay again if given another opportunity!

    Excellent staff training.

    I was impressed by the full-force smile and friendliness that almost made me step back, as well as the pleasant greetings. You can feel that employee training is thoroughly implemented everywhere, and I felt like I saw a complete form of hospitality. There are so many things to learn from. The most exciting moment was when I received complimentary shochu and snacks served until 8 PM. I was completely ready in my Room before dinner (´艸｀*).

    I was asked to buy a local shochu as a souvenir, and since I wasn't familiar with it, I asked at the front desk. They were very helpful and attentive, which was a great help. We were also upgraded to a better room and were able to relax with our family. If given the opportunity, I would definitely like to use this property again.

    We were able to relax and enjoy our time as a couple.

    Upon arriving at the Hotel, the staff greeted us with a smile at the entrance, and at the front desk, the staff also explained various things about the Room with a smile, making the check-in process very pleasant. Upon entering the Room, there was a heart-shaped open-air bath attached, and with just one button from the Room, we could fill it with hot water and enter immediately. The open-air bath had a sulfur scent and was very pleasant. The meals were also delicious, with dinner at the restaurant and breakfast as a buffet. Additionally, the private open-air bath was extremely pleasant. We were able to relax as a couple, and we would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Enjoy Onsen in Kirishima in December

    As it is December, I started longing for an onsen and decided to use this facility at Kirishima Onsen after watching reviews on YouTube. "Kirishima Art Forest" and "Kirishima Shrine" are nearby, and it is about 30 minutes from Kagoshima Airport, making it easily accessible. I checked in after 4 PM, and the front desk was not crowded, perhaps because it was a weekday, so the process was smooth. I stayed in a La Vista Twin room on the 4th floor, but I hadn't confirmed the information about the lounge use until 5 PM, so I hurried there. The lounge was also empty, and I enjoyed beer for about 30 minutes. My wife had reserved the spa at 5:30 PM, so afterward, she relaxed and enjoyed the onsen in the large public bath. There are also three private baths, which we could use without waiting. Dinner was an Italian course menu, which I was most looking forward to, and I ordered a bottle of red wine, but the menu felt like Western food with Italian dishes, which was disappointing. We were served rice and miso soup, but I would have preferred authentic Italian. After dinner, I spent a pleasant time in the heart-shaped open-air bath in the room, watching the steam from the onsen springing up right in front of me, and slept comfortably... It was quiet at night, and I slept soundly. Breakfast was buffet-style, allowing us to choose what we liked... The vegetable salad items were few, and the specialty chicken rice had a thin broth, which was also disappointing. I hope for an upgrade in the food content and menu as the restaurant's atmosphere is good. After breakfast, I was healed by the onsen again and checked out...     The dinner is disappointing.

    I thought the dinner would be Italian, but it was quite disappointing. I think it would be better to have an Italian lunch for 3500 yen in Nagoya. Other than that, it was good. The breakfast is generally fine.

    Sakurajima was breathtaking.

    The Room and bath, especially the private open-air bath, were excellent. I was surprised when I was told that dinner would start at 20:00 after arrival. It was an unusual start time, and I thought I could have managed by having a late lunch if I had been informed in advance. Breakfast also involves lining up as many people use the buffet style at the same time. Other than the meals, I think everything was very good.

    I was attracted to the room with a private open-air bath at the onsen and stayed there. Of course, I used it and was satisfied, but there are also three private baths and a large public bath, which was spacious and not crowded, allowing me to fully enjoy it. Additionally, there were Dormy Inn services, such as tomato ramen for the night soba and Yoguruppe in the morning, which I personally liked. As for the meals, I felt there were not many vegetables for both breakfast and dinner, but considering the price, it was satisfactory.

    I stayed on the 4th floor, and the sense of happiness from seeing the morning sea of clouds and Sakurajima view from the Room’s open-air bath was incredible. I’d love to stay again in another season.
