    We enjoyed our stay.

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with our grandchildren’s family and our dog. We were satisfied with the meals and the bath. Since we had children with us, we would have liked the pool to be open for longer hours.

    Nice hot bath

    The hot water is great and very relaxing. I think the Room is nice and standard. I just wish the breakfast were better. It’s also nice that you can use the large public bath as many times as you like. It would be helpful if bath towels were available at the large public bath, because you have to bring them from your Room, and if you go in several times, they start to feel cold. Other than that, I’m satisfied.

    Well-equipped Facilities

    This was our first time staying here. I stayed with my wife and our 0-year-old baby. Everything was simply wonderful. We were truly impressed by the thoughtful attention to detail and excellent service throughout. My wife and I agreed that when we come to Kirishima again, we would like to book a Multiple Night Stay here. Thank you very much.

    It was amazing, to say the least.

    Everything was excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, and it was wonderful to enjoy it with such a great view. The Room was spacious, the in-room bath was fantastic, and the shared baths—especially the open-air bath—had an amazing view. Needless to say, the private bath was also outstanding. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Every Room comes with a private open-air bath fed by natural Onsen water, so you can enjoy the Onsen anytime you like—this was the best part. There are also three free private baths that require no Reservation, and it’s a great bonus that you can use them as many times as you want whenever they’re available. Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet with a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties, and we were completely satisfied from the morning. As you’d expect from an Accommodation operated by Kyoritsu Maintenance, there are plenty of complimentary services such as the familiar “Yonaki Soba” late-night noodles and post-bath refreshments. The in-house loungewear is also a separate top-and-bottom set, making it extremely comfortable for relaxing after bathing or spending time in your Room.

    Lives up to the Reviews

    On my third night in Kagoshima, the Room, bath, and meals were all excellent. I was able to relax and enjoy my solo trip. The driver who picked me up at Kirishima-Jingu Station kindly guided me and even took me to see a waterfall—it was wonderful. The only thing is that I think the in-house loungewear should be replaced with newer ones.

    A bath with a view of Sakurajima—simply the best!

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. The atmosphere of the Room and the scenery allowed us to spend a truly relaxing time. The service and warm smile of the male staff at the restaurant made it a moment that made us feel, “We’re glad we came.” Thank you again. My wife’s hometown is Miyakonojo, so when we visit Kirishima, we would love to stay again.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen.

    No matter where you stay, La Vista consistently meets a high standard, so you can feel at ease. This time as well, we had a relaxing stay with no particular complaints. However, it was disappointing that the view was poor due to bad weather. The Onsen offers three private baths with different atmospheres, and you can use them right away if they are available. We happened to find them open and tried all three. Combined with the in-Room Onsen, it was excellent.

    I trust Kyoritsu Resort and always look there first.\nI was really looking forward to staying at Kirishima Hills as well.\nI was satisfied with the baths, the Room, and the service, but I was a little disappointed with dinner.\nThe day before my stay, when you called to confirm, I was told that dinner time preferences would be asked at check-in. So I assumed it would be first-come, first-served and checked in a bit early (around 4:00 p.m.). However, I was then told that because there was a group booking that day, dinner would have to start at 8:00 p.m.\nI took a bath and so on, but there was too much time until 8:00 p.m.; I got tired of waiting and even lost my appetite.\nSomeone I rode the elevator with also said it was too late.\nStarting at 8:00 p.m., it was about a two-hour course (ending around 10:00 p.m.), and I didn’t feel like drinking caffeinated coffee at the end at that hour.\nThe seats were also side-by-side facing outside into complete darkness. If there had been a night view it would have been fine, but all we could see in the window was our own reflection.\nSaying “Well…,” my companion and I ate anyway.\nDinner ended at that time, so we were full and it was immediately time to sleep.\nIt was my first time ever having dinner that late.\nMaybe I felt that way because of my age,\nbut from next time on, I’ll make sure to confirm dinner times carefully when choosing an Accommodation.

    I took my parents on...

    I took my parents on a family trip for the first time in 10 years. At first, I was a bit worried because the building felt old, but the Onsen and hospitality were excellent, and my parents were very happy. During dinner I had to leave the table because I wasn’t feeling well, and they kindly made rice porridge for me. The next day they also checked on how I was doing, and their thoughtful care was almost more than we deserved. We were able to make wonderful memories—thank you very much. One small note: dinner was fixed as Western-style, and my father would have preferred Japanese cuisine, so it would have been even better if we could choose.

    We would love to stay here again.

    We stayed here on our way back from watching a soccer match in Kagoshima City. We made a Reservation for the Lucian Force Room for three family members and one dog, and the size and layout were just right.\n\nThere is a dedicated lobby right in front of the parking lot, and the route to the guest Room is short, making it very easy to get around. It doesn’t feel like a brand-new Facility, but everything was thoroughly cleaned and we had a very comfortable stay.\n\nFree drinks such as coffee were available, and we also appreciated the complimentary late-night soba service. Both the bath and breakfast exceeded our expectations.\n\nAt dinner time, we had to leave our dog alone in the Room, so we hoped service could be a bit quicker so we could finish our meal sooner. (We were told in-Room dining was possible, but it requires an additional fee, and we worried the food might get cold—so we decided against it.)\n\nIn any case, the staff’s warm hospitality with genuine smiles meant a lot to us. Our family member who travels all over The whole country for business also spoke very highly of this Hotel. We would definitely like to stay again.

    It was truly wonderful.

    Unusually for Kyoritsu Resort, they also offer a Shuttle Service. The baths were amazing. The open-air bath in the Room was also an Onsen, and the heart-shaped tub was adorable. The meals were Italian, but they also used ingredients from Kagoshima, and even though it was Italian cuisine, we were served sakura shrimp takikomi rice along with red miso soup and pickles as a palate refresher—so we were completely full. I had been looking forward to the late-night tomato ramen, but had to give it a miss. There is also a large dog run, so I’d like to recommend it to friends who have dogs. It turned into a wonderful trip.

    A Highly Satisfying Golden Week Trip to Kagoshima (3 Days, 2 Nights)

    Although I had set foot at Shibushi Port over the past 60-plus years, this was my first time staying overnight in Kagoshima. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great that day, so we arrived after 2:00 p.m., but we were promptly shown to our Room. The Room was a Standard Fourth, and it was well laid out and very comfortable. Dinner started at 5:20 p.m. and was an Italian course meal. For the main dish, we could choose either roasted Japanese Black Wagyu beef or roasted Kurobuta pork. We wanted to try both, so our family shared them—and it was hard to say which was better because both were delicious. There were also sakura shrimp rice and miso soup that weren’t listed on the menu, and we left completely full. The Room has an open-air bath, but there were many baths in the large public bath as well, with temperatures just how I like them, so I didn’t end up using the bath in the Room. If I have another chance to stay overnight in Kagoshima, this is definitely a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

    It was the perfect vacation in every way.

    On our previous visit, we came to celebrate my parents’ 77th birthday, and this time I stayed with my mother for a trip for two. The hot spring water quality, the Room, the meals, the hospitality, and the service were all wonderful—it was a truly relaxing 2-night, 3-day stay that left us feeling refreshed.     A family bath shrouded in the morning mist feels truly magical.

    The baths were excellent. The in-Room bath and the large public bath both had wonderful hot spring water. In particular, the early-morning private family bath was the best. It felt luxurious to have the open space and a large garden wrapped in mist all to myself. If you go, the private family bath is a must. The meals were also great—especially the dinner with Japanese Black Wagyu beef, which was generous in portion and very delicious. The next morning after checkout, I lost my wallet. When I contacted them, they searched around and even checked the Room, but said they couldn’t find it. Just when I had given up, it seems they went to check all the way to the parking lot and found it for me. I’m truly grateful. I will stay again.

    Kirishima Onsen Hotel

    We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. My wife really loved the Southern European-style design and color scheme, and I was able to relax as well. The weather was bad, so the next morning we had a blizzard and couldn’t enjoy the view, but the Facility—including the Onsen—was clean and well maintained. The meals were delicious, though there was a bit too much for us as a middle-aged couple, and it felt a little too lively; however, I think it’s a great choice for younger travelers or families with children. The staff were kind and helpful, including providing information about snowfall. The next morning we visited nearby Kirishima Shrine before heading home. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

    It was amazing!!!

    This was my first stay at the accommodation. I booked a room with an open-air bath, but unfortunately, it was so cold that day—there were even reports of the first snow in many parts of the whole country—that I didn’t feel like using it (laughs). Other than the narrow space to take off shoes right at the entrance of the room, everything else was perfect! Especially during breakfast, the restaurant staff had such a pleasant smile and way of speaking despite being young, which made me smile too. Unfortunately, dinner required a reservation, so that was a no-go. However, we found "Satsuma-ji," just about 2 minutes away by car from the hotel—very reasonably priced and run by an elderly couple—and everything there was absolutely delicious! I hope to stay at La Vista Kirishima Hills again someday and visit Satsuma-ji once more!!!

    Stayed with a pet

    This was my second stay. The food was delicious last time, and the accommodations for pets made me want to come back again. The bath was very relaxing and enjoyable. Above all, the facility is clean. However, when I moved the bed, there was dust and trash underneath, and there wasn’t a duster available, which caused some inconvenience. I also noticed it felt dry in the room; it would be great if humidifiers were available for rent. The breakfast buffet was very tasty as well. It felt a bit lonely that there weren’t many “Good mornings” from the staff in the morning—perhaps because the night staff left such a good impression! We’re already talking about coming back next year. Keep up the great work!

    Excellent customer service

    We stayed with a total of 19 people to celebrate an 88th birthday. All the rooms were arranged on the same floor for our convenience. A private dining room was prepared for us, and we were able to hold a small celebration after the meal. The staff kindly took group photos from various angles and distances, resulting in wonderful pictures. The private bath was very helpful as we had an infant with us. The meals were also delicious. It was a hotel where everyone, from 0-year-olds to 88-year-olds, could enjoy a comfortable stay.

    This was my first time using this service to find a Hotel where I could stay with my dog. The Hotel lived up to the Reviews, and I was very satisfied. The private open-air bath was especially wonderful. The breakfast also lived up to its reputation.

    Onsen is the best!

    The room came with an Onsen open-air bath, allowing us to enjoy the Onsen privately and at our own pace. The room was neither too big nor too small, just the right size for a couple, and very comfortable. The meals were reasonably delicious, though the serving pace felt a bit fast. Staff service was average.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    We travel to Onsen destinations across the whole country about 20 times a year as a couple. This time, we stayed for 2 nights. The sense of space design was outstanding, the service provided by well-trained staff was top-notch, and both the Onsen and meals were impeccable.     The open-air bath was wonderful.

    I made a reservation at this accommodation for an onsen trip to celebrate my wife's birthday. The open-air bath with its stunning views was truly exceptional. The staff's hospitality was warm and attentive, leaving us with a strong desire to visit again. Additionally, we were kindly upgraded to a higher-grade room than the one we originally reserved, allowing both my wife and me to enjoy an incredibly comfortable stay.     The best hotel I have stayed at! The room's bath was great!! However, the food... The breakfast buffet was fine! For dinner, we had both Western and Japanese cuisine. It was a cold day with heavy rain, and most of the dishes were served cold, which upset my stomach... Even my middle school son didn’t enjoy the taste, and I felt the same way. The Japanese cuisine was easier to eat compared to the Western dishes. I would like to stay again if given another opportunity!
