    We thoroughly enjoyed dining and the dog run with our furry friend.

    We stayed for two nights as a couple with our Maltipoo. Both dinner and breakfast were served in the Room, allowing us to enjoy meals together with our dog. The food was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. Despite it being a Multiple Night Stay, the menu was completely changed each day—thank you for that! While there were many dishes, each portion was small enough that we could enjoy everything, including dessert at the end. The entire facility is dog-friendly; on the sunny first day, we played at the outdoor dog run, and on the rainy third day, we used the indoor dog run on the fourth floor. We also enjoyed soaking in our private open-air bath every day while breathing in fresh forest air. Sengokuhara was beautiful during this season of pampas grass. We would love to visit again during another season!

    The Hotel was clean ...

    The Hotel was clean and well-maintained, with an air purifier in the Room, giving a good impression overall. However, I noticed a stain on the floor next to the bed from a previous guest's pet accident. Without that issue, my satisfaction would have been higher. The meal portions were just right, and my husband was pleased that he could get rice refills. The front desk provided dog diapers and free drinks, and there were items at the entrance for wiping dogs' paws, which was a nice touch. The Hotel staff were all kind and helpful; however, during check-in, the male staff member at the front desk seemed formal without any smile or eye contact throughout the process, which left me slightly concerned.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night. Although the weather was not great and I was a bit worried, the staff's thoughtful gesture of lending me an umbrella made my stay comfortable. It was a bit disappointing that there were some issues with the sparkling wine at dinner and the small dishes at breakfast, but overall, the meals were delicious. I would like to stay here again.

    We stayed with our barking dog and received very kind assistance from everyone. The woman serving the meals was especially gentle, and our dog was overjoyed every time she brought the food. Since this is a hotel exclusively for dogs, having professionals who know how to handle them made it relaxing for us as well. We were completely satisfied with the meals, onsen, and room. The next day, we stayed at a luxury accommodation nearby, but overall, we felt this accommodation was better. We would love to visit again!

    Regina Resort, third visit.

    This was our third visit, following Kawaguchiko and Izu. Among the three places, this might have been the best. First of all, Hakone is conveniently located near Gotemba for easy access. Additionally, with in-room dining, even dogs like ours who find it difficult to interact with other dogs can stay stress-free. Though not very large, there is also a public bath available. The staff's hospitality was just as excellent as the other two places we visited. Thank you very much!

    First Stay with Your Beloved Dog

    The Hotel where I could stay with my beloved dog was amazing. The meals were delicious, and the dishes and presentation were all satisfying. I would love to stay there again. The private bath and large public bath were very relaxing. I also enjoyed a forest bath, which was truly soothing. The indoor dog run was convenient and comfortable as well.

    Excellent

    We recently stayed with our three dogs, my spouse, and our daughter. While we have visited other Reginas before, this was our first time in Hakone. In one word: an excellent accommodation. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hospitality was outstanding. The meals served in the room were delicious and very satisfying. The bath facilities were also perfect. As avid travelers who visit various accommodations, Regina always stands out as exceptional. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hakone.     Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

    This was supposed to be our second stay with my beloved dog, but the day before our reservation, my dog suddenly crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Amidst the shock and confusion, I contacted the accommodation to explain the situation. Despite it being on such short notice, they kindly allowed me to change the reservation date. This time, I stayed with a photo of my dog. It was bittersweet recalling our stay together exactly one year ago, but I was deeply comforted by the staff's thoughtful gestures. I was especially touched by their kindness in preparing flowers, water, and food in front of my dog's photo. Even without being accompanied by a pet, I realized that it’s possible to have such a meaningful experience here. All living beings eventually part ways someday; amidst that sadness, this place allowed me to reminisce about precious moments spent together... It became an invaluable journey for me. Once again, I sincerely thank all of the staff for their heartfelt care and consideration.

    It was perfect in every way.

    The facility was impeccable and left nothing to be desired. However, our dog, while friendly on the surface, is very cautious when it comes to sleeping and eating. It seemed that during bedtime, there might have been lingering scents of previous dogs in the room (undetectable to us humans), which made our dog restless and unable to settle down. It's unfortunate because it was such a wonderful place otherwise.

    This was our first visit, accompanied by my elderly parents, family, and a toy poodle. The check-in welcome was warm and attentive, not just following a manual but with genuine care that made us feel at ease. The room was spacious with large windows offering beautiful views of fresh greenery; it was quiet and relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations for an accommodation catering to guests with pets—the quality was surprising, the meals were carefully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The staff serving the meals were young, some wearing "in training" badges, but their service was impeccable nonetheless. One family member planned to join us later in the evening after dinner when we went to pick them up at Hakone-Yumoto. When we asked about restaurants where they could eat upon arrival, the staff kindly suggested places that didn’t require reservations or shared their favorite izakaya recommendations—creating enjoyable conversations that brought smiles to our faces. We even discussed as a family how well-selected these kind-hearted and considerate staff members must be! The public bath was incredibly refreshing; I used it multiple times! The cleanliness of both the bath area and our room stood out—it felt like everything had been meticulously maintained. The location is also convenient—about 20 minutes from Hakone-Yumoto Station by car—and perfect if you’re driving. Both humans and our dog had an amazing stay at this accommodation! We would love to visit again in the future! Thank you very much!

    Update

    Escape the scorching heat of Tokyo and revisit Sengokuhara after a long time. As always, this accommodation offers lush greenery and tranquility. It feels calming, allowing for deeper breaths. The meals have become even more delicious and enjoyable. The Sawani Nabe, with its soup infused with various vegetable flavors, pairs perfectly with Wagyu beef. Truly delightful! Even our dog seemed fully satisfied with the dessert cake. Thanks to this stay, we were able to refresh both body and mind for the latter half of the year ahead.

    This was my third stay!

    We stayed here to celebrate my husband's birthday with our two beloved dogs. The meals at Regina are always delicious, and while we have used other facilities, this is our third stay here because of the in-room dining option. The public bath is a bit small but very clean, including the changing area, and well-equipped with amenities. The hot spring quality is excellent. The accommodation is clean throughout, and since it’s not a large facility, it’s easy to get around and very convenient. This is one of the accommodations we’d like to visit regularly.

    Very satisfied!

    This was my first stay! I chose this accommodation because of the option for in-room dining and the attractive onsen. I was very satisfied, and it turned out to be a great trip! The room was clean, odor-free, and very comfortable. Above all, the staff's hospitality was excellent, and even my dog enjoyed playing around happily. The onsen had wonderful water, and I used it multiple times. I would love to stay here again.

    Stayed with the Pet Plan. Good points: Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious and enjoyable. The service from the front desk and Room dining staff was excellent. Disappointing points: Even considering it had rained, the Room had a strong smell of pet urine, which was quite noticeable. The large public bath had wonderful water, but it was disappointing that there was no open-air bath. If the Room odor issue is resolved, I would definitely like to stay again!

    The facility and the Room were clean and comfortable.

    The accommodation and room were clean, the meals were delicious, and it was very comfortable. The description mentioned a milky white onsen, but it was actually colorless and transparent, so I rated the onsen 3 stars. By the way, the open-air bath in the room used tap water. The dog run right outside the entrance was well-covered with wood chips, so even in rainy weather, it was great that my pet could use it without getting dirty.

    An Accommodation You'll Want to Visit Again

    This is my second visit. After six years of caring for my mother, I was finally able to return here with my 16-year-old beloved dog this March, following her admission to an accommodation facility. Since it had been a long time, I came back with fond memories of the first visit, especially impressed by the variety and deliciousness of the meals. After our previous stay, we even joked at home that arranging various dishes in small bowls felt like being at Reginna! Perhaps my expectations were too high this time, but I felt a bit disappointed that the number of dishes had decreased (both dinner and breakfast). Of course, the taste remains excellent and satisfying; however, compared to before, it feels more ordinary now and seems to have lost some of its unique charm. Hence the 4-star rating. Still, it remains a wonderful accommodation overall, so I plan to visit again!

    Highly Rated Accommodation with Guaranteed Repeat Stays

    In-room dining for both breakfast and dinner was truly impressive! The indoor dog run was great as it wasn't affected by the weather. The staff were very courteous. We appreciated that even with a twin stroller placed in front of the Room, we could still move in and out easily. Both our dog and children seemed to have a great time, making it a highly satisfying stay.

    I am a repeat guest.

    This is our second stay. It’s a favorite accommodation for both our family and our dogs. Our dog tends to bark when meeting other dogs, so having meals in the room is stress-free and very convenient for us. The service is excellent, and we are extremely satisfied.     We recently traveled...

    We recently traveled with our 10-year-old dog. It was comforting for our dog, who doesn't like being left alone, to be able to dine together in the room. Our son, who has allergies, was also able to enjoy his meal without worry as we informed the hotel in advance and they carefully ensured that allergens were excluded from his food. Above all, the food was delicious and made the whole family happy. The staff were kind and even spoke gently to our dog, which we appreciated. The only downside was that there was only one Onsen available in a large public bath area; having a sauna would have been nice too. Overall, it’s a wonderful hotel that truly prioritizes dogs!

    I stayed with my beloved dog, and it was truly an amazing experience! The spacious dog run and the well-equipped facilities seemed to satisfy my dog as well. There were plenty of supplies for dogs, so I could stay without bringing anything. The staff were all kind, and their warm hospitality left a deep impression on me. The meals were delicious and perfectly portioned. I also appreciated the provided samue, which allowed me to relax comfortably. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to create wonderful memories with their furry friend! There was even an indoor dog run, which was incredibly helpful since it rained during our stay. I would love to stay here again!

    Room dining is excellent!

    Our dog tends to bark in the restaurant, so having in-room dining was absolutely perfect and stress-free. The food was also delicious! The bath wasn't very large considering the number of rooms, and there was no open-air bath. However, there was a heated Goemon-style open-air bath in the room. The Onsen had a nice sulfur scent and was very comfortable!

    Both humans and dogs were completely satisfied!

    We stayed to celebrate a family birthday. The room and the facility were very clean, and the staff provided excellent service, allowing both people and dogs to enjoy a relaxing stay. The bath loses one star because in the large public bath, there was a group with an elementary school-aged child who displayed poor manners—leaving the door open while others were present or swimming in the bath—which made it less relaxing. While this is not the fault of the facility, we wished for better etiquette suited to such a place. Pet supplies were so well-prepared that we didn’t need to bring anything with us. Although it was unfortunate that it rained on our visit, we enjoyed using the indoor dog run. Meals were served in our room, allowing us to enjoy dinner together as a family at our own pace. Next time, we hope to stay for multiple nights for an even more leisurely experience.
