    A Perfect 100-Point Hotel

    I have stayed here several times. This time, I was upgraded to a corner Room, which made my stay even more enjoyable. There were absolutely no negative points. A comfortable Room, refreshing service, and a delicious breakfast. I will definitely visit again.

    Breakfast at Koan is excellent.

    All of the staff were wonderful, and I was truly impressed. Their service was consistently polite and warm, and their friendliness stood out, making my stay very comfortable. The Hotel was clean and well maintained, so I could relax comfortably. The breakfast venue was also lovely, and the food was delicious. The Facility and meals were of course great as well, but above all, the outstanding service from the staff left a lasting impression. It’s a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

    This is a very quiet...

    This is a very quiet and wonderful Hotel. I have stayed at many Hotels in this area, and despite the frequent crowds from weddings and heavy foot traffic, everything from arrival to check-out was smooth, calm, and extremely comfortable. The room was excellent—spacious enough, well-equipped (including amenities), and very clean. It is also conveniently located right by Nagatacho Station on the subway. The meals were delicious as well; both breakfast and lunch were thoughtfully accommodated in various ways. This is a truly outstanding hidden gem in the city center.

    I think it’s a wonderful Hotel.

    Although it is located right in the city center, it is quiet, calm, and spacious, and the Room and Facility themselves are very comfortable. I appreciated the turndown service, and the amenities are well stocked (though there is no makeup remover, etc.). Drinks in the refrigerator are complimentary. The TV was not a smart TV. There are some wonderful staff members, but there were more staff members who left me puzzled, and even after returning home I still can’t shake the feeling of “???”. At the cafe lounge—perhaps because they were new—the staff member was flustered and rushing around the entire time. I could also hear them repeating my order several times in the back while giggling. Regarding in-house credit as well, I could hear them relaying my words exactly to a supervisor in the back, which made me very uncomfortable. The food is delicious so I considered adding breakfast, but decided not to. I wish a supervisor would keep an eye on the floor to ensure guests aren’t being made uncomfortable. Other small issues: I requested a wine cooler but an ice bucket arrived instead; and even though a staff member was standing by near the elevator and greeted me, they didn’t call the elevator for me… little things like that here and there. At checkout I asked for my suitcase to be shipped. The porter only took it downstairs and told me to ask the front desk about shipping details; however, my questions were not shared with reception at all. Then at reception they didn’t know either—again looking flustered and going back and forth. Wandering around with shipping slips separated from luggage can lead to loss or misdelivery, so it’s better not to do that. When staff seem anxious or unsure, it makes guests feel anxious too. Even after getting home, questions kept coming up—like whether I should have handled things differently. If you stay in your Room and only interact with certain good staff members, I think this is a comfortable Hotel.

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night. I arrived at the Hotel early and planned to wait in the lobby, but the staff kindly informed me that my Room was ready and allowed me to check in early. Thank you. The breakfast was delicious, and the snacks provided in the Room were also very good. This is definitely a Hotel I will return to.

    Indulge in a Little Luxury

    Stayed in a Superior Twin. I stayed here with my daughter, who is preparing for entrance exams, for a relaxing break. The amenities were well stocked, the complimentary drink service was excellent, and we could unwind in the spacious room. There was also a Bluetooth speaker, which helped my daughter focus on her studying. I enjoyed getting in a bit of exercise at the fitness area—it was great. We hardly ran into other guests, and we liked the discreet, private feel.

    This Hotel upheld th...

    This Hotel upheld the fundamentals of hospitality, was in a great location, and everyone was kind. Although it isn’t a very large Hotel, it had bell staff and even provided writing paper—something you rarely see these days (few Hotels still keep stamps available at the front desk). The amenities were fully stocked, and drinks in the refrigerator were free.\n\nThis is just my personal impression, but I would have liked a partition in the changing area. Since the bathroom has a washing area, it would also be nice to have a wash bucket and stool.\n\nAlso, there was no explanation of Diamond member benefits (perhaps out of consideration for other guests). Rather than simply applying them without saying anything, I think it’s important that guests understand that their benefits have been applied.\n\nI also had lunch at this Hotel’s restaurant. The ingredients and cooking methods were carefully chosen, the presentation was beautiful, and the food was excellent.\n\nThe next day I could also walk to the Suntory Museum of Art, which made for a wonderful day.\nThank you very much.

    So cozy you won’t want to leave your Room—this Hotel is the perfect retreat.

    I finally had the chance to stay here, something I’d been hoping to do for a long time. The size was neither too large nor too small, and both the Hotel and the Room had a calm atmosphere—extremely comfortable. Of all the Hotels I’ve stayed at through IKYU, this is probably the best. The Room was spacious, and everything—from the furnishings and amenities to the comfort of the bed and the quality of the towels—was perfect. I also appreciated having a small sink. Also, which is rare for a Hotel in this class, there was a coin laundry in the basement, which was very helpful. If I had to be picky, I would have liked a few more items with the Western breakfast. The Japanese breakfast was excellent in both taste and variety. I will definitely return again soon. It’s given me one more reason to look forward to visiting Tokyo.

    It was comfortable!

    Conveniently located just steps from Nagatacho Station in a very safe area. Quiet as well. The front desk staff mentioned it is a small Hotel, but that actually makes it a very comfortable space. Everything was spotless—better than any Hotel I’ve stayed at before! I had a very pleasant stay. The only request I have is to add a full-length mirror near the closet by the Room entrance. There is one in the bathroom at the back, but I’d like to check my whole outfit before heading out.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    This is one of my favorite Hotels in Tokyo. Even the standard Room is spacious, and the bathtub with a washing area is very convenient. As an IKYU Diamond member, having a 1:00 PM checkout is also great because it lets you relax and take your time. The breakfast drinks are delicious, but I would appreciate it if you could bring juice and coffee at the same time.

    Kitano Hotel Tokyo

    This was my first stay, and I stayed for two nights. The location in Hirakawacho was convenient for training sessions and dining. The Room amenities and cleanliness were excellent, and the staff were very helpful.

    A stylish, minimalist Hotel

    From the Hotel entrance, it had a clean and stylish atmosphere. After arriving, we enjoyed drinks on the rooftop. A pleasant breeze was blowing, and I had a delicious drink with a wasabi aroma. Breakfast was also delicious, and we were able to relax. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again when I have the chance.

    I usually choose a Hotel in Chuo Ward, but I stayed here because the Room was spacious. All of the staff were truly outstanding—the best I’ve experienced at any Hotel so far. If I could ask for one thing, it would be a chair in the bathroom. Also, although it’s a very quiet Hotel, I heard a few loud thuds—I'm not sure if they came from upstairs or next door, and I don’t think it was related to the Hotel itself. I had hoped to have dinner there, but it was reserved for a private event, which was disappointing. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

    Holiday Stay

    We stay here every long weekend with my wife. We sleep well and wake up refreshed, so we are very satisfied. We enjoyed breakfast in a quiet restaurant; the quality and portions were just right, and everything was excellent. The doorman, restaurant staff, and front desk staff all greeted us with smiles, which made our stay very pleasant. We will definitely stay again on our next visit. Thank you. ,

    A Comfortable Stay

    Excellent access—just steps from Nagatacho Station!! They kindly upgraded my Room, and I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The amenities were impressive: not only bath salts to soothe fatigue, but also foot-relief sheets and even items to relax your fingertips—everything you could ask for. Breakfast Plan included; I chose the Western set. It looked lovely, like an afternoon tea presentation, with four kinds of bread beautifully arranged. However, the croissant was overly burnt, so I left more than half. The homemade yogurt in the starter set (4 items) was delicious, with vanilla beans mixed in. I planned to eat the fruit later, but it was cleared away without being asked, which surprised me. I chose an omelet for the egg dish, but it had almost no flavor and there was no sauce; I would have liked sauce served on the side. I also felt they should confirm the timing for serving drinks. Breakfast was disappointing, but the front desk staff and the Room were excellent.

    It was amazing!

    We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you sincerely for upgrading our Room beyond the Plan we made at the time of Reservation. The Room was excellent, and thanks to the staff’s cheerful greetings and wonderful hospitality, we had an unforgettable stay. Although it is a small Hotel, the Room was spacious, well designed, and very comfortable. The location was also outstanding—easy to access and convenient for getting anywhere. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Tokyo.

    A very clean Hotel

    Someone described it as “like a hidden retreat,” and that was exactly right. The approach from the calm lobby to the Room is lovely, and it is a very clean Hotel. They allowed us to check in early, and while we were dining at the Hotel restaurant, our luggage was delivered to the Room. The service felt pleasant from the very beginning. The Room was so spotless it felt like it had just reopened after a renovation. The carpet was a muted pink, and I was surprised there wasn’t a single stain on such a light color—it's that clean. Since the bathroom has a glass door, it might be a little awkward if you’re staying with someone other than family. Was there perhaps a shade? On the plus side, there were plenty of amenities such as toothbrushes, which was great. I also appreciated that the drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary. However, since cola is not for everyone, I think it would have been even better to have some healthier options. There were two disappointments. During turndown service, none of the Nespresso capsules were replenished (tea and other items were restocked properly). Also, at breakfast when I ordered an omelet without cheese, it still came with cheese—apparently my companion’s order was served by mistake. It wasn’t an allergy issue for me, but I do think this should be handled more carefully. Thanks to my IKYU Diamond member benefit, checkout was extended until 1:00 p.m., so we could relax at our own pace. I wanted to see the rooftop at the end as well, but unfortunately it wasn’t accessible outside of opening hours. At departure, however, the interaction felt somewhat mechanical—there was no comment such as “How was your stay?” All staff members are kind, but with slightly more guest-focused hospitality overall, I feel their service rating could have been even better.

    A calm Hotel for adults

    The staff’s thoughtful hospitality was just right, and the Room was spacious. With carefully selected Facilities and amenities, it was a high-quality Hotel where you could truly relax in your Room. (Drinks and welcome sweets, plus the comfort of the Room’s Facilities and spaciousness) If I had to mention one thing, since the other Facilities and amenities in the Room were so well equipped, I would have liked a slightly better hair dryer.

    This is a quiet Hotel overall.

    I stayed here to attend a concert at Suntory Hall. Being warmly welcomed by the doorman immediately lifted my spirits. At check-in, they thoughtfully offered an oshibori (hot towel). They also upgraded me since there was availability. While it offers full Hotel service, it’s also a quiet place that feels relaxing and comforting. The road noise can be noticeable, but you might get used to it after a few stays.

    Hotel staff, Room

    The Hotel staff are very polite and kind. The Room is lovely, and in my personal opinion the bed was very comfortable—I slept well on an Airweave mattress! Cleaning is thorough, and everything provided was clean. There is also a wide variety of amenities, which I really appreciated.

    No. 1 in Hospitality

    I’ve stayed at many luxury hotels in Tokyo, and I feel that Kitano Hotel is the most welcoming and truly full of hospitality. Beyond the hospitality, I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, the staff who greeted me in coats and hats, and the seasonal decorations—thoughtful touches throughout that create a sense of small luxury. The location is also quiet and very convenient, close to Kioi Garden Terrace. I’d love to stay again. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

    The perfect balance of elegance and practicality.

    My spouse and I stayed here for a relaxing staycation in Tokyo. It was a wonderful Hotel with outstanding value for money. Compared with other international brands, it felt calm and refined, and the bathroom with a separate washing area—something many Japanese guests appreciate—was very comfortable. The bar was quiet with great views, and all the staff were extremely kind. We had a truly relaxing stay. We would definitely like to use it again for future staycations in Tokyo.

    I was able to relax both physically and mentally.

    I had been wanting to visit for some time. We were truly able to relax until the 1:00 PM checkout. Thank you as well for your warm hospitality and for kindly accommodating even our small requests. The Room, bath, and linens were thoughtfully cared for down to the smallest details, and both the in-room dinner and breakfast were delicious. The amenities were more than sufficient—if I had to mention one thing, it would be that there didn’t seem to be makeup remover or basic skincare items. We felt completely refreshed and would love to return when our schedule allows. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff.

    A Quiet Bamboo Hotel in Nagatacho

    It’s a new, clean Hotel, and perhaps because it has only a small number of Rooms, it was quiet and breakfast was not crowded. The service was excellent. The Room was spacious and quiet, and it was great that the in-room drinks were free. Unfortunately, there was no view from the Room, but the stunning bamboo inside the Hotel is impressive. Nagatacho is quiet on weekends, and you can relax at this Hotel. The price was reasonable as well.

    During turndown service, the bath mat was missing, and amenities were not replenished. I ordered breakfast via room service for 9:30 AM, but it did not arrive. When I called to check, it seemed to have been forgotten. It arrived about 10 minutes later without any apology. While it falls short compared to other five-star accommodations I usually stay at, considering the price and benefits such as turndown service, guaranteed late check-out at 1 PM, and complimentary room service breakfast options, the value for money is good. Please ensure there are no mistakes in the future.

    This was my first time staying here. Thank you for accommodating my request for commemorative flowers and even researching white roses, as well as cooperating with my preferences regarding the timing to place them in the Room. The front desk staff's courteous response when I arrived early was exceptional, and I was even offered tea, which deeply impressed me. I feel that long-term visitors from overseas would also find a peaceful moment in Japan here and be very satisfied. I will definitely stay again.
