It was a wonderful trip.
I stayed here as a solo female traveler. It was a Thursday–Friday stay, and maybe it was just by chance, but there were many other women traveling alone, which made it very comfortable. There were lots of books, and I could read beautiful books as much as I wanted. I could go back to my Room and read slowly in a great chair, or read in a hammock while listening to birds—an irresistible environment for book lovers. I even bought one favorite book to take home. The service and the food were also excellent. Just one point: as others have mentioned in their reviews, I noticed a faint smell on the bed sheets and pillowcases—like they hadn’t fully dried. Since I went into the Onsen in the morning afterward, it wasn’t an issue for me, but I thought some people might be sensitive to it. Other than that, everything was truly wonderful: plenty of complimentary drinks and snacks, and I could even enjoy Häagen-Dazs after bathing—two perfect days. There were many lovely reading chairs as well, and I’m thinking that someday I’d like to buy the same chair that this Hotel uses. I will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

We had a relaxing stay.
I was overwhelmed and delighted by the sheer number of books that greeted me the moment I opened the door. All the interior decor was stylish as well. Each Room has its own Onsen, and there is also a large communal bath, so I was very satisfied. Coffee, juice, and Häagen-Dazs are free, and beer is available until 10:00. I was able to spend a relaxing time reading while enjoying drinks or watching the mini theater. However, meals are served in a performance-style format together with other guests, so it didn’t feel very relaxing, and the food did not live up to my expectations (everything felt rather plain and not memorable). Breakfast in particular felt like vegetarian Buddhist cuisine and wasn’t filling enough… Neither dinner nor breakfast had colorful dishes that look good in photos. The portions may also be small. In addition, cicadas and moths came into the in-room bath area, which caught me off guard. Also, the amenity toothbrush does not come with toothpaste attached, so it’s better to bring your own. That said, it’s an Accommodation where you can truly unwind without worrying about time, and I would like to visit again. If the meals were improved, it would be perfect.

The atmosphere and the food were excellent.
Every meal we enjoyed in the stylish space surrounded by an impressive wall of bookshelves was outstanding. All of the food was truly delicious, and both the tableware and presentation were beautiful, allowing us to spend a wonderfully elegant and memorable time. We also enjoyed a wide variety of interesting books—not only novels, but also titles on design, handicrafts, cooking, and many other genres. However, there was one disappointing issue... When I got into bed, I found hair on the pillow, and the duvet cover had a strong damp smell that was quite unpleasant. I could also see several strands of hair inside the sheets (between the mattress and the sheet), which made me worry that perhaps the sheets or pillowcases hadn’t been changed. Other than that, we were truly very satisfied!

A Happy Space
Both types of Onsen and the meals were wonderful, and we were able to spend a relaxing, luxurious time. The many books are not just for display—they are arranged neatly and easy to browse, taking you into many different worlds, both new and nostalgic. Above all, the staff were genuinely warm and made us feel truly comfortable.

It became a wonderful memory.
I stayed for one night as a birthday treat for myself. Not only was the Hotel’s atmosphere wonderful, but above all, every member of staff was incredibly kind and warm, making my entire stay truly comfortable. On the tour I joined before dinner, everything was explained with great care—from the Hotel’s history to stories related to the cuisine—so I enjoyed the meal even more afterward. I was genuinely impressed by everyone’s professionalism. Every dish was delicious, and the service was excellent. The other guests were also calm and considerate, so there was no noise or anything unpleasant at all, and I could relax from the bottom of my heart. The Room was clean and comfortable—an extremely satisfying stay in every way. Just one note about access: if you get off at the wrong cable car stop, you’ll end up walking about 16 minutes along a mountain path to reach the Hotel. (It isn’t long time-wise, but there are some very steep slopes, so it was a bit tough.) Since I’m not used to cable cars and didn’t know you can’t cross to the opposite platform after getting off, I thought it might be clearer for first-time visitors if your website included guidance such as “Please exit on the right.” I would love to visit again as another treat for myself. Thank you very much for such an unforgettable experience and wonderful memories.

Ideal for solo travelers
I stayed again on a solo trip. As always, the meals were absolutely delicious, and I had a wonderful time once again. I also had the chance to chat with another solo guest seated next to me, which reminded me what a lovely Accommodation this is—one where even women traveling alone can relax and enjoy an unhurried, grown-up getaway. I also appreciated the ice cream service near the baths, as well as the Diamond member perks such as sake and champagne prepared in my Room. Compared with my previous stay, there were even more thoughtful services than before, and I truly felt your attentive hospitality. On the other hand, there were a few points I noticed. I share them in the hope that this Accommodation will become even better. First, regarding odor in the Room: this time there was an unpleasant smell (similar to body odor). Although deodorizing spray was provided, it did not improve much, so I kept the windows open during my stay. I had a similar impression on my previous visit as well, so I would be grateful if you could consider regular cleaning and maintenance for items that easily retain such odors—such as cushion covers and bedding. Also, many high-quality Hotels have recently introduced professional aroma diffusers to enhance the overall atmosphere of their spaces. Since scent greatly affects guest satisfaction during a stay, I feel that introducing an aroma service like this could make your space even more comfortable and pleasant. In addition, looking closely at both the Room and the large public bath area, I noticed some small details such as dust on ceilings, areas where cleaning seemed incomplete, and posted notices left in a damaged condition. These may be minor points; however, addressing them would further improve the overall impression of the Accommodation. I would be happy if you could place extra focus on daily cleaning and maintenance. Regarding pajamas mentioned last time: they had been replaced with new ones this time around, and they were very comfortable to use. Thank you for your kind response. I am always very satisfied with your meals and service; if upkeep of facilities and detailed maintenance are further enhanced throughout the property، it will undoubtedly be a five-star Accommodation for me. I would love to continue staying here in future visits، و look forward to your continued growth and improvement.

I've never experienced such a continuous series of surprises before.
Due to work running late into the evening, I urgently looked for an Accommodation in Hakone, and this Hotel came up first. I was planning to book a Plan with breakfast, and they had exactly what I wanted. The Hotel Reviews were also highly rated. A colleague had stayed at a sister property before and told me, “I’ve been curious about Hakone too—please tell me how it is,” so I arrived looking forward to my stay. When I entered through the main gate, no one was there… Even after ringing the bell, there was no response, so I waited for a while while looking at the books lined up. Eventually someone came—apparently kitchen staff—and said, “Please wait a moment,” and I was kept waiting again (it seemed they went to look for the concierge). When they returned, that same person ended up handling everything?! They guided me to my Room while earnestly checking what looked like an information booklet meant to be shown to guests, but their explanations were hesitant and uncertain—“Maybe it’s like this… I think so…” Seeing how hard they were trying made me say instead, “It’s okay.” When I asked if there wasn’t a concierge available, they replied very frankly, “Yes—we’re short-staffed,” which made me give an awkward smile. (I honestly don’t understand why this Plan exists.) I then thought I’d relax with a bath, but the loungewear that we were told could be worn around the property was far too big—even when tied tightly, the pants kept slipping down… I considered asking if it could be exchanged for another size…but remembering that comment about being short-staffed, I gave up. At the large public bath area, part of the handwritten warning sign saying “Please be careful on your way to the open-air bath” had faded away midway… The temperature of the clear bath was just right, but I didn’t realize the cloudy one was actually cold water—I got in and was shocked! There wasn’t even a sauna; why have a cold bath? It felt strange. After leaving the large public bath area there was a place to rest, with water plus three kinds of Häagen-Dazs and three kinds of drinks. When I went to eat some Häagen-Dazs—wait… where are the spoons? There were still more moments like that. The staff all responded with smiles so it’s hard to complain, but I want to believe my stay just happened to coincide with one issue after another (or is this somehow part of their concept?). It was also my first time not having anyone help carry my luggage. For various reasons—I’m sorry—I couldn’t understand why this Hotel has such high ratings.

Wonderful accommodation.
My husband and I stayed here the other day. The rain was heavy, and we really appreciated that you suggested options like an early check-in when we arrived earlier than planned. Overall it was very good, but these are our thoughts as well as what we hoped could be even better. [What we liked] - The Room is spacious. - The atmosphere of the in-room bath is wonderful. - A great selection of snacks and drinks. - The breakfast portion size was just right, and being able to get refills of the barley rice was nice. - Staff kindly accommodated small requests. [What could be improved] - The refrigerator noise was noticeable and a bit distracting. - The Wi-Fi signal was weak. - Dinner felt a little light; as a couple with big appetites, we ended up wishing for a late-night snack. We listed quite a few requests, but both the bath and the Room were lovely, and it was very comfortable to stay here. []

Cuisine Inspired by the Tokaido Route
I recently stayed at Hakone Honbako. The concept of an Accommodation “designed for spending time with books” was even more comforting than I imagined, and time felt as if it flowed more slowly during my stay. The property offers a wide range of genres, and the chance to discover an unexpected book is part of the appeal. The guest room was calm and relaxing, and enjoying a good read after soaking in the Onsen was truly special. The meals were thoughtfully prepared using local ingredients, with care evident in every dish. I highly recommend this Accommodation to anyone looking to step away from a busy routine and reset both mind and spirit. I’d love to return in another season.

As always, it’s fantastic!
I’ve stayed here so many times that it’s practically my regular Accommodation. No matter how often I visit, I always get to enjoy the carefully crafted meals. The “Tokaido Gastronomy,” which you can only experience at Hakone Honbako and not just anywhere, never gets old. The newly updated tea pairing was also outstanding. Honestly, I’d love to come more often, but lately it’s been hard to secure a Reservation… Since I often Reserve at the last minute, just finding availability when the mood strikes already puts me in the best spirits from the moment I Complete the Reservation. And no matter how many times I return, all of the staff welcome me with such warmth. Hearing “Welcome back” makes me feel relieved—like I’ve come home to a second home. My goal last year was to visit every month, but I’ve already had to give that up—still, I’ll find time again and look forward to coming back!

It may be a matter of personal preference.
This was an Accommodation I’d been wanting to visit since last year. When I was shown to my Room and stepped inside, it was dark—far too dim to read. When I asked to borrow a lamp, they kindly changed my Room. It ended up being an upgrade with a great view and was very comfortable, for which I’m truly grateful. However, the meals may be a matter of personal preference. After returning home, I found myself craving a proper feast. The menu may be carefully curated, but it felt somewhat like vegetarian Buddhist-style cuisine (especially breakfast), and it didn’t lift my spirits. At my age, I’m happy with just a little of something delicious—but this made me feel it was the right decision not to bring my husband… It also left me feeling that guests are expected to pay and adapt themselves to the Hotel’s concept, which didn’t sit quite right with me.

@Aspiring Traveler / Woman in her 30s
I stayed in a Room with a round open-air bath. Spending time soaking in the open-air bath without thinking about anything was pure bliss. Dinner was served one dish at a time, so we could enjoy each course freshly prepared. Every dish had its own story, and the staff presented it to us, which made it possible to enjoy delicious food while having fun. Also, the main lobby—lined with books from floor to ceiling—is connected by a winding staircase, and you can even browse books in nearby chairs; it was an exciting experience unlike any other. The service was attentive as well—thank you for two wonderful days. If you want to relax and unwind alone or with close companions, I highly recommend visiting.

Immerse yourself in the wellspring of wisdom and healing.
I stayed on a weekday Monday with colleagues from work. We each spent time in separate Rooms in a “stay-in” style, and I stayed in a second-floor Room with an open-air bath. This Accommodation is said to be a renovated former company retreat for a book-related business, and the approach from the entrance—surrounded by towering bookshelves—was truly breathtaking. I arrived a little early, and the wonderfully warm staff kindly offered me a welcome drink while my Room was being prepared, so I relaxed on the terrace with a beer. It seems that stays for children below elementary school age are discouraged, which made it perfect for someone like me who wanted quiet time to unwind—pure bliss. The books lined up throughout the main hall felt designed to spark serendipitous encounters, arranged at random across genres and sizes. Simply walking between the shelves while admiring the covers made my solo time feel richer. Since I’d been quite tired, I didn’t go anywhere—I just immersed myself in books and soaked in the bath—but dinner was suddenly lively and delightful. It was presented alongside stories about Hakone’s land and history, yet there was still plenty of time to savor each dish at an unhurried pace; after keeping to myself in my Room all day, it became such an enjoyable evening. I was also struck by guests dining with books placed beside them—an unexpectedly beautiful scene you rarely see at other Hotels. And all of the books inside are available for purchase. It became a special stay where I could fully soak in both “knowledge” and “healing.” Thank you very much to all of the staff—I would love to visit again.

The Perfect Place to Spend Time with a Book
I used the occasionally available “[Advance Payment / Entry After 7:30 PM Only]” 1-night breakfast Plan. I thought it might be more of a “trial course,” but aside from the shorter stay time, you can enjoy almost the same services as the full Plan. In return, the “check-in from 7:30 PM” rule is strictly enforced, and even if you arrive early you can’t wait in the lobby (they did let me in one minute early, though). If you can accept that, you’re free to browse the books on display throughout the property, and you can enjoy complimentary drinks (including beer), snacks, and ice cream available in various spots. The drink selection is extensive—you might need a 2–3 day stay to try everything. My Room had an open-air bath, and even the drinks in the fridge (including alcohol) were free—I almost felt guilty. There’s no TV, but an iPad is provided. At first I thought it was only for accessing property information, but I could watch YouTube normally. There’s also a large public bath where you can soak in two different hot spring sources. Even though there seemed to be quite a few other guests, I somehow had it all to myself both at night and in the morning. Breakfast was also higher quality than expected—excellent. I’d like to give it about a 6 out of 5 for satisfaction!

I’m definitely coming back.
I was so satisfied that I wanted to give all 5s. However, if I had to be picky, I felt that older guests like me might not have been fully considered. For example, it was hard to figure out how to use the Room safe and the coffee machine (the instructions were in English and/or the text was too small), and in the large public bath the labels on items like shampoo had faded and were unreadable. Also, I got lost on the way back. Still, I was able to relax deeply. The meals were excellent—I didn’t want to leave. I’ll buy new reading glasses and come again.

The only Accommodation in Hakone where you can enjoy books, an Onsen, and dining.
We traveled from Hakone-Yumoto Station by the Hakone Tozan Railway and cable car. Along with Hakone’s rich nature, we also enjoyed the journey itself, including the railway’s switchbacks (I think it would be even more enjoyable during hydrangea season from mid-June onward). From the cable car station, it was easy to reach on a mostly flat path with hardly any uphill. This time, I stayed with my son, who loves books. I don’t think there is another Accommodation in Hakone where you can enjoy all three—books, Onsen, and dining—in one place. We don’t usually have very deep conversations, but talking through books helped me learn what he is interested in. Throughout the building there were many cozy “hideaway” spots. We could enjoy reading and chatting together in our Room, while when he wanted to focus on reading alone, my son would go to one of those spaces. Even at mealtimes, we were able to relax at an unhurried pace by enjoying a full course while watching the live kitchen—almost like spending time reading a book (we also heard little stories about the dishes; it truly felt like “reading through food”). I also recommend trying the drink pairings to make the meal even better. With only about 18 Rooms in total, it never felt crowded; depending on the time of day, the large public bath felt almost private and we didn’t have to worry about other guests. The large public bath was open all night until 10:00 a.m., and our Room also had a bath on the balcony, so we could enjoy Onsen both at night and in the morning. Coffee and juice as well as snacks and ice cream were always available in the lounge and on the floor with the large public bath—perfect companions for reading or soaking. The collection of books inside—and even the mountains of Hakone visible from our Room—will surely change their character with each season. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of view awaits us next time.

Clear Accommodation
This was my third visit. It’s my favorite Accommodation. Between reading, the Onsen, and the food (all amazing!), this time I ended up staying in the mini theater. There are so many hidden spots besides the mini theater where you can really focus on reading that you’ll forget to check your phone—an effortless digital detox. The Tokaido-themed dishes are also fascinating. And the pairing was outstanding—I’m glad I ordered it.

Recommended even for your first solo trip.
I stayed here before with my spouse, and this time I took my first solo trip and spent a relaxing time reading. In the quiet setting, I enjoyed reading while sipping coffee or herbal tea, sometimes snacking on cookies. The Onsen offers two types of spring water; my recommendation is the open-air bath with a gentle sulfur scent. The ice cream after the bath was also pure bliss. The meals were gentle on the stomach, and it reminded me how important it is to eat slowly and savor each bite—they were delicious. Thank you very much. I would love to visit again for some healing time.

This is my second stay.
I stayed for one night previously and had a very pleasant time, so this was my second visit. Compared to last time, the chef had changed, the welcome drink was different, and cider was no longer on the menu. Some of the finer service details had changed, but there were thoughtful touches throughout, and I enjoyed another comfortable stay. There were also many international guests staying here, seemingly from Europe and North America. Next time, if possible, I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay and spend more time reading.

Everything was excellent!
This was my first stay, and I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. The Onsen in the Room felt wonderfully open, and soaking while listening to the Japanese bush warbler was the best—I went in many times. They also took care to vary the meals so we didn’t have the same menu twice. The course dinners had a story behind them, featuring ingredients inspired by the Tokaido route, and everything was delicious. I had a hamburger steak for lunch on the second day, and it was great as well. The theater Room and the open-air bath were both fantastic. Above all, I loved being able to relax, discover books I wouldn’t normally pick up, and get completely absorbed in reading—books, Onsen, books, Onsen, meals, books, Onsen… I loved that rhythm of time. I will definitely come again!

Luxury Library
I had a wonderful time surrounded by so many books. There was little explanation about the Facility, but I explored freely and helped myself to drinks and snacks as I liked. It was fun discovering various hidden spots. Both the Room and the bath were calming, and time passed slowly. What was disappointing: There was no advance explanation that the rice served at dinner and breakfast would not be plain white rice, which felt somewhat lacking in consideration (for example, if someone dislikes barley rice or wants to adjust the portion). In the shared space, someone was speaking quite loudly on a remote call; while everyone else was quietly enjoying themselves, it was unpleasant.

Solo travel is the best.
This was my third visit. I drive, but most guests come by train, so the parking lot is usually empty. When I’m here, I just keep repeating the same routine: browsing books, taking a bath, and enjoying tea and alcohol. The ice cream in front of the bath has been changed to Häagen-Dazs this time, which quietly made me happy. The indoor bath in the large public bath is always lukewarm—actually just plain warm at best—so that’s minus one star for me. The open-air bath has milky white water and is at a comfortable temperature. Also, the bath in my Room stays at the perfect temperature all night, which is amazing. Meals always follow a theme each time, and both the presentation style and dishes can be quite polarizing depending on personal taste. For women, each plate may feel small, but there are many courses, so you end up very full if you finish everything. I especially like the orange-flavored olive oil for dipping bread and have purchased it here. Breakfast also seems to have more side dishes for rice than before. I’d like to stay again soon.

An Accommodation You’ll Want to Return to Again — Hakone Honbako
There are Accommodations you find yourself wanting to return to again and again. Hakone Honbako. One day, I suddenly had some free time and took the wheel. I hadn’t decided where to go—I just drove wherever the mood took me, and before I knew it, I was in the mountains of Hakone. Then it occurred to me: that’s it—I’ll stay at Honbako. It had only been about two weeks since my last visit, yet I wanted to experience that soothing time once more. When I arrived, a staff member greeted me. “Welcome back.” Perhaps because it hadn’t been long since my previous stay, they seemed to remember me. That kind of quiet thoughtfulness made me happy. Dinner also reflects what makes this Accommodation special. Inspired by Hakone’s connection to the Tokaido route, the meal is designed around the Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido. Each dish comes with its own story, and one of the staff members serving explains its origins and background like a storyteller. That time is part of the enjoyment. Last time, what stayed with me most was venison game meat—so clean-tasting you wouldn’t notice any gaminess unless told what it was. You can tell how carefully it has been prepared and treated. Served rare, it had an astonishingly clear flavor; if you ate it without knowing, you might mistake it for beef. This time brought a different lineup altogether—likely adjusted so each visit feels like a new journey: fried kinmedai (splendid alfonsino), gently cooked beef, and dessert. As you eat, you feel as though you’re traveling along the old Tokaido road itself. That playful spirit is part of this Accommodation’s charm. All kinds of guests come here—families spending time together, couples sharing quiet moments. Traveling solo can sometimes mean searching for where you belong—but not here. The staff speak to you naturally, and those small exchanges quietly loosen your heart. Another thing that leaves a strong impression here is “sound.” There’s no excessive music throughout the building; only during meals does soft music play in the restaurant. Yet it isn’t complete silence either—you catch snippets of book conversations somewhere nearby or voices chatting about their stay. Those subtle signs of life reach your ears now and then—and they feel comforting. Next time, maybe I’ll bring my daughter instead of coming alone. And yet I can also imagine another day when I take the wheel for no particular reason—and find myself driving along Hakone’s mountain roads again before realizing it. Either way, I’ve gained another place where even on my own I can relax without trying too hard."""

First Multiple Night Stay
This was my first Multiple Night Stay on my third visit. The welcome cafe available until 5:00 PM was wonderful—the sake lees cake was delicious. After soaking in the Onsen in my Room, I headed to dinner. I was the only Japanese guest, but everything was kindly explained to me individually in Japanese. Thank you for your time despite being so busy. The large public bath has a white outdoor Onsen that truly warms you up. After the bath, I enjoyed a bite-sized ice cream. After breakfast, I spent time reading and taking a nap, and before I knew it, it was lunchtime. I requested the hamburger steak in advance. It wasn’t a counter seat but a private room, and the Y chair was very comfortable to sit in. Since different ingredients arrive each day, the menu doesn’t overlap with the previous night’s. For breakfast during a Multiple Night Stay, it was Western-style as well. I also enjoyed chatting with the staff. I’ll be back again as a treat for myself. Thank you very much.

A Cozy Accommodation
I stayed one night as a solo traveler at Hakone Honbako, a place I’d been curious about for some time, booking just a week in advance. The day after making my Reservation, my schedule changed and I contacted them; they kindly adjusted my Plan, which I truly appreciated. Their flexible and courteous response made it clear this is an excellent Accommodation. As the concept suggests, the stay was calm and relaxing, surrounded by books. The staff’s unobtrusive attentiveness—giving me space in the best way—made it very comfortable. I also felt their attention to detail in the interior design, including the chairs. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, thoughtfully prepared with great respect for the ingredients, and it gave me a chance to reflect on food again. I also visited the bath downstairs; light snow was falling at just the right time, and soaking in the open-air bath while watching the snow was wonderful. The bath in my Room was also an Onsen, and having a bathrobe provided was a nice touch. With plenty of time, I browsed genres I wouldn’t normally choose and found unexpected discoveries that made it fun. This time, rather than reading deeply, I spent my time lightly browsing and choosing books with lots of photos—so I ended up enjoying more books overall—and that pace suited my mood perfectly. It allowed me to truly unwind. It was also great to be able to make tea freely in the café space while reading, along with complimentary dried fruit. The bottled milk available only in the morning was delicious and added to the experience. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I found a hidden gem!
I finally had the chance to visit Hakone Honbako, a place I’d been curious about for a long time! First, I was thrilled by the spacious feel of the Room and the fact that each Room has its own open-air bath. The food was outstanding, and there were thoughtful touches throughout the property. Above all, the staff’s warm hospitality and attentiveness were exceptional! It’s become a place I definitely want to return to.

A Space and Hospitality That Will Make You Want to Come Back Again
I’d been wanting to stay at the Accommodation “Hakone Honbako” for a long time. True to its name, the huge bookshelf stretching from the entrance up to the second floor, along with reading nooks throughout the building, creates a true “space for reading.” It’s a place where turning pages becomes the main event of your stay. There’s also free-flow beer on tap and a coffee station, which makes it even nicer to relax with a book in hand. Read quietly, take an occasional sip—time passes naturally in that kind of luxury. What I especially want to highlight about this Accommodation is the outstanding hospitality of the staff. I arrived a little before check-in time, but they greeted me at the entrance by name. They likely inferred it from my Reservation details such as party size and ages. In the lobby, at reception, and in the restaurant—everywhere you go—their attentiveness is consistent. At the restaurant, their teamwork was also impressive. They communicate naturally and support each other without fuss. That good rapport shapes the atmosphere of the entire space and feels genuinely calming to watch. I’d highly recommend this Accommodation for solo travelers as well. Even if dining alone makes you hesitate, you can feel comfortable here. Perhaps because of its book-lover concept, there are plenty of guests visiting on their own, and staff look out for you in an unobtrusive way. You can spend your time at ease without unnecessary self-consciousness. An Accommodation that makes you want to return when you suddenly feel like taking a trip again. It was a place that gently made me think “I want to come back,” as I opened a book and savored quiet moments.

A relaxing and soothing stay.
A cozy, home-like atmosphere, an Onsen with a gentle sulfur scent, books to enjoy, and a café lounge with complimentary drinks—perfect for relaxing at your own pace and feeling refreshed. Thank you for the warm “welcome back” greeting. We’ll be back again.

Second time.
I was able to immerse myself in a book in a quiet, comfortable Room and truly relax. I was looking forward to the meals because I was so impressed last time, and this time they were genuinely wonderful as well. One thing I noticed was the scent of fabric softener on the loungewear. Some guests may be sensitive to it, so I would appreciate it if you could switch to an unscented option. Also, I was bothered by the sound of the humidifier automatically adjusting its intensity. It made it hard to focus on reading, so I turned it off. As others have mentioned, the send-off at departure felt rather brief. It felt quite different from how warm and attentive the staff had been up until then, which left me a little sad. That said, this is truly a wonderful Hotel. I will definitely visit again, and I’m also looking forward to seeing what books you add next.
