It was a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches.
I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay to celebrate my birthday, and thanks to the Hotel’s thoughtful consideration, they prepared a wonderful Room for me, making my stay very pleasant.

The view from the window.
This time, we stayed in the Arai building. The view from the window was the parking lot. It was our first stay with someone very important to me. I had requested consideration regarding the Room, but it was disappointing. The amenities were also limited.

It was a very clean ...
It was a very clean and relaxing Hotel. The service was courteous, and it’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. There are plenty of activities for children, so everyone from kids to adults will be very satisfied. Since there is a lot to explain at check-in, it’s understandable that it takes time for each guest, but there were only two staff members assisting, so a long line formed. I think it would be even better if this could be improved.

Children will enjoy their stay.
The Room has only basic amenities, but it is clean. As for service, staffing may vary by day, and there were some worrying points—such as receiving different guidance than the previous day and a bus Reservation not being secured—but overall I would say the service is average. The Onsen also feels clean, but it is inconvenient that you need to bring towels from your Room. What concerned me most was that children of elementary school age or older were using the bath of the opposite sex. Since I have a child around the same age, this really stood out to me. I think this should be strictly enforced. There are plenty of activities such as an athletic area, so you can play all day without getting bored. Regarding the pool, are guests with tattoos allowed to enter? Lastly, about dining: at Steakhouse Beko, the staff were attentive and everything felt clean, so I was satisfied. However, at the Western-style buffet, many dishes appeared poorly washed with visible stains in places, which was very disappointing. Because the price is not very high, it may be unavoidable to some extent, but I believe a minimum standard of cleanliness and service is still necessary.

I hope for improvements in noise levels and cleanliness.
Because I was assigned a Room near the entrance to the Onsen Facility, the sound of the Hoshizora Onsen door opening and closing was very loud and echoed inside my Room from early morning until late at night. The noise bothered me throughout my stay. I was very disappointed to be placed in such a noisy Room even though I did not book a discounted or special-condition Room. I was also concerned that there was a dead frog floating in the open-air bath at Hoshizora Onsen, and that the floor around the hair dryers was covered with hair, which felt unhygienic. I would appreciate regular cleaning and inspections by staff. Going forward, I hope you will either inform guests in advance about Rooms that may be noisy, or improve the door noise on the Onsen side and strengthen soundproofing measures to create a more comfortable environment for guests.

We had a great time.
I stayed here as a child more than 20 years ago, back in the SONY days. This time I visited with my own children, and it was just as kid-friendly as I remembered—if anything, even better with the wide range of activities. It was the perfect Accommodation for families with children. By chance, it brought back memories through a detective feature on a Wednesday TV show, and I’m truly glad to have been reminded of those times. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything!

Not making good use of the facilities.
[Building & Facilities] As you’d expect from a bubble-era Hotel, it’s spread across multiple buildings and feels lavishly built. However, some aspects felt dated—two-handle faucets and old-style cylinder Room keys with the Room number printed on them stood out. The grounds are huge, but because each Facility is scattered around, routes are complicated and signage is insufficient, making it hard to find your way. The large public bath is also impressive, but tattoos are allowed, and there were some intimidating guests around—so I didn’t feel comfortable bringing children. [Service] Overall, the lack of hospitality was noticeable. First, parking areas and front desks differ by building, yet there was not enough guidance either at the time of Reservation or on-site signage. At 7:00 p.m. on a holiday there was only one person at the front desk; staff seemed inexperienced and wait times were long throughout. For Facility information at check-in we were only given a single photocopied map that was hard to read due to blurred text. The website accessed via QR code also lacked clear explanations, and in general there were too few maps and signs inside the property—making navigation very difficult. [Dining] We skipped dinner because Reviews were poor and went to restaurants down at the base instead. Breakfast had about as much variety as a decent Business Hotel, and since it isn’t reservation-based it was extremely crowded. We were told Western-style breakfast would be less busy than the Japanese venue, so we walked five minutes to another location—but it was still crowded and we had to wait. That pretty much sums up the experience. It felt like a resort running an unpleasant business model: buying an extravagant property while cutting staffing and food costs to operate it cheaply.

Enjoy both skiing and snow play while staying at the resort.
We stayed as a family for two nights and three days during the snow season. With great snow conditions, we enjoyed skiing and playing in the snow, while also relaxing in lovely, calm guest rooms that feel like an overseas Hotel, along with dining options such as a steakhouse and an open-air bath—making it easy to enjoy both active fun and a restful resort stay. It felt like more than half of the guests were visitors from Europe and North America, but we did not see anyone with poor manners; everyone left a very courteous impression. Check-in took some time, and I would be happier if it could be a bit smoother.

Service issues.
There was a staff member at the front desk who could not communicate in either Japanese or English, which caused problems. In the end, a Japanese staff member came out and assisted us, but please do not assign customer-facing duties to staff who cannot speak either Japanese or English. (We stayed in the Club Building; the staff member was a young woman around 30.) The indoor corridor is far too cold. There are yukata in the Room, but no haori jacket, so it is too cold to go to the bath wearing only a yukata. It may be better to provide an English notice about how bathrobes should be used. Some foreign guests mistakenly think they can walk around inside the building wearing either the in-room yukata or a bathrobe, which is very unpleasant. Perhaps they are confusing yukata with bathrobes. It was also unpleasant that some guests left trash in the indoor corridor. They may be mistaking the indoor corridor for an outdoor street.

[2 Nights, 3 Days with 2 Meals] Family-Friendly Plan
【Overall】 We visited during the autumn foliage season before the snow season. The hotel offered a wide range of activities that kept our young children (early elementary school and preschool age) entertained, along with a stunning natural environment, spacious onsen, and convenient access from Tokyo. Both adults and children had a highly satisfying experience. Considering all this, the price was surprisingly reasonable, offering great value for money. We would love to visit again. However, there were some concerns regarding certain aspects of service which will be detailed below. 【Highlights】 - **Extensive Activities & Facilities** The hotel provided numerous activities and facilities for children to enjoy such as tubing down slopes on inflatable rings, ziplining, an indoor playground, pool, gondola rides, treasure hunting games, tree adventures and more. Everything could be enjoyed within the hotel premises itself—making it convenient for adults while ensuring kids had a fantastic time. - **Stunning Natural Environment** We took the autumn foliage gondola ride directly from within the hotel's grounds and were amazed by the breathtaking nature surrounding us. The fresh air added to the sense of escape from daily life; it was truly refreshing for adults as well. - **Onsen** The facility was very clean with spacious open-air baths where we could relax comfortably. - **Accessibility** It takes less than two hours by Shinkansen from Tokyo followed by about 20–30 minutes on a clean large bus from the nearest station to reach the accommodation. Since there weren’t many passengers on board during our trip back-and-forth via bus—it allowed full reclining seats making travel even more comfortable. 【Concerns】 - **Towel Rental Policy** Only one set of towels per guest is provided in each room; guests are expected to bring these towels when using public baths as well unless they pay extra fees if additional ones are needed according to staff instructions—but inconsistencies arose since some staff mentioned otherwise without clarity overall leaving mixed impressions regarding cost-cutting measures applied toward amenities feeling slightly unbalanced overall here too unfortunately! - **Staff Guidance Quality Variations** There seemed noticeable differences between individual team members' knowledge levels leading sometimes uncertain responses given upon inquiries made alongside varying answers depending whom approached instead though conversely encountered exceptional service rendered elsewhere amongst personnel present This does not seem to be a Hotel suitable for Japanese guests.
Some staff members do not speak Japanese, and even for Japanese guests, the service lacked the meticulousness typically associated with Japan. It seems that relying on web-based systems for various reservations may be a contributing factor. The dinner buffet at The Plate had an extremely limited selection and was not tasty at all. The Onsen was very crowded in the evening, likely due to many day-trip visitors, most of whom were international guests, some with tattoos. However, during the morning bath time, it was almost empty and provided a comfortable experience. The Room was clean. I travel 4-5 times a year but felt this Hotel is not catered towards Japanese guests.

I made a same-day re...
I made a same-day reservation after reading good reviews, but I couldn't get through on the phone at all. I wanted to ask about the shuttle service, but despite calling all day from morning, the line never connected and kept getting cut off. Eventually, I managed to get information by contacting someone in accounting. The staff who answered the phone were pleasant, but it’s meaningless if you can’t reach them in the first place. Upon arrival, I noticed that the hallway leading to the Western-style dinner buffet was covered in dust bunnies, raising questions about how often cleaning is done. The room itself was clean; however, due to thin walls, hallway conversations and even coughing or sneezing from neighboring rooms were clearly audible at night and quite unpleasant. Regarding meals: The Western-style dinner buffet had a limited selection of dishes that were cold and lacked flavor. Even plain white rice was served cold and hardened quickly while selecting other food items—there was hardly anything edible available. Empty plates weren’t replenished either; some plates with hair on them were left unattended as well. While there were some kind restaurant staff members, others seemed unresponsive or unfriendly, which left me very disappointed. Breakfast (Western-style due to time constraints) had similar issues. For baths: Each guest is provided one large towel and one small towel in their room for use both at sinks and when visiting public baths. If you wish to bathe before or after meals multiple times during your stay, exchanging towels takes time as well. Amenities are minimal—besides lotion and moisturizer—items like combs or cotton swabs are not provided; guests must bring everything themselves without any bags offered for convenience. The bath itself wasn’t crowded though—I enjoyed a snowy open-air bath experience. Having stayed at another hotel last autumn with exceptionally high satisfaction levels made this experience feel even more disappointing by comparison—I will not be returning here again.

Spacious European-style Hotel
In mid-November, enjoy the autumn leaves of Myoko as you pass through rice fields with harvested stalks, heading towards the lodge building within a spacious property. This is my first stay at this accommodation, which I recognized as an onsen-equipped hotel type. After parking in the large parking lot and checking in at reception, I headed to my room but encountered a group of overseas guests arriving. I waited for the elevator to become available. A retired couple in their late 60s living on a pension had searched for reasonable rates and were upgraded to a lodge room with early reservation benefits. Although they prepaid a small amount, they were impressed by the grand building. Once the group left, the spacious lobby became quiet all of a sudden. Having previously chosen budget ryokans that often smelled musty, this place had a pleasant aroma throughout its interior. Guided to our room while navigating through the facility, we arrived at our 40-square-meter spacious room featuring no odor, large beds, and big-screen TVs with well-stocked amenities. Opening the window revealed Myoko's summit up close. Regarding onsen use: wearing yukata is allowed only when going to or from it; however, there was no onsen towel provided! Realizing it’s indeed more like staying at hotels than traditional ryokans where such items might typically come included—luckily brought along personal nylon body towels instead! Setting out dressed comfortably yet casually (yukata & slippers), reaching onsens took over five minutes walking across partially exposed roof-covered pathways enduring chilly weather conditions before finally arriving inside clean changing rooms leading into expansive baths featuring outdoor sections under clear starry skies accommodating around thirty people simultaneously without feeling crowded since groups hadn’t entered yet allowing peaceful enjoyment overall. Post-bath attire changes followed dinner service expectations initially skeptical about buffet-style offerings turned pleasantly surprised discovering high-quality dishes ranging steak cuts alongside fresh seafood sushi plates paired nicely against regional Shinshu soba noodles—all tasting delicious despite occasional shortages caused by earlier larger parties consuming portions beforehand though staff promptly replenished upon request ensuring satisfaction ultimately overeating slightly due indulgence opportunities presented therein albeit refraining alcoholic beverages priced higher reflecting typical hotel markups balancing affordable lodging costs otherwise detracting unnecessarily avoided altogether instead opting restraint measures accordingly. Early morning bath visits required layering additional down jackets atop sleepwear yukatas proving effective insulation combating cooler temperatures outdoors en route successfully maintaining comfort levels adequately prepared ahead time-wise adjustments made breakfast queues forming later resulting thirty-minute waits better avoided prioritizing earlier arrivals securing seating arrangements minimizing delays experienced others encountering similar situations subsequently learning lessons applied future stays planned repeat visits bringing along personal towels next occasion anticipated fondly remembering positive impressions left behind overall exceptional value-for-money experiences enjoyed thoroughly recommending wholeheartedly prospective travelers seeking comparable accommodations nearby regions exploring further possibilities expanding horizons beyond initial expectations exceeded greatly appreciated moments cherished forevermore lasting memories created shared loved ones alike treasured deeply meaningful ways connecting nature surroundings harmoniously blending seamlessly together unforgettable journeys embarked upon relived countless times thereafter reminiscing fondly always warmly embraced cherished dearly eternally grateful opportunities afforded blessed abundantly richly rewarded immeasurably fulfilled contentedly satisfied completely whole-heartedly enriched profoundly inspired motivated encouraged uplifted rejuvenated revitalized refreshed renewed invigorated energized empowered emboldened strengthened fortified resolute determined steadfast unwavering committed dedicated passionate enthusiastic optimistic hopeful confident assured secure safe sound protected nurtured cared supported valued respected honored esteemed admired revered celebrated acknowledged appreciated recognized praised commended applauded congratulated thanked sincerely genuinely authentically truthfully honestly openly transparently candidly forthrightly straightforwardly directly unequivocally unreservedly wholeheartedly fully entirely comprehensively inclusively universally globally cosmically infinitely eternally timelessly perpetually endlessly limitlessly boundlessly expansively extensively broadly widely far-reaching vast immense enormous colossal monumental gigantic massive tremendous extraordinary phenomenal remarkable outstanding exceptional unparalleled unmatched unrivaled incomparable peerless supreme ultimate apex pinnacle zenith summit peak climax culmination crowning glory triumph victory conquest achievement accomplishment success attainment realization fulfillment completion perfection excellence mastery expertise proficiency skill artistry craftsmanship ingenuity creativity innovation originality uniqueness distinction individuality personality character identity essence spirit soul heart mind body being existence presence life vitality energy force power strength courage determination perseverance resilience tenacity grit resolve will drive ambition aspiration dream vision goal purpose mission objective aim target intention desire wish hope longing yearning craving hunger thirst passion enthusiasm excitement joy happiness delight pleasure satisfaction contentment peace tranquility serenity calmness stillness quietude silence solitude harmony balance equilibrium symmetry proportion order structure organization system method process procedure protocol standard norm rule regulation guideline policy principle law custom tradition culture heritage legacy history ancestry lineage genealogy roots origin source foundation basis core center nucleus hub focal point axis pivot fulcrum keystone cornerstone bedrock anchor mooring grounding grounding grounding

Why is it different from last time?
We request that the check-in staff be fluent in Japanese. The meals are delicious, and the buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, which is great. However, the restaurant seems understaffed, especially during breakfast. Plates and bowls run out without anyone noticing, food replenishment is slow, and it resulted in a disappointing dining experience. This did not happen during our previous visit in spring, so it makes us wonder if the service quality varies depending on the day.

The overall satisfaction was very high, but it was disappointing that the food was lukewarm.
The Room was very clean, and I had a wonderful time. Both breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of dishes, which was satisfying. However, it was truly disappointing that the Western-style dishes at the dinner buffet were lukewarm despite their delicious taste. Although they were displayed on warming trays, it seemed like the power might not have been on as even dishes like Nikujaga and miso soup were lukewarm. Since I prefer my warm dishes to be served hot regardless of taste, this was quite disheartening. I would love to stay here again, so I hope this issue can be improved in the future.

Watch TV programs and stay at the accommodation.
I stayed here after watching it featured on a variety show and became interested. The accommodation has several buildings surrounding a plaza, giving it a small DisneySea-like vibe. I stayed one night in the lodge building. I enjoyed the onsen in the Arai building, and dinner was at the hotel's steak restaurant. The facility is spacious and open, with great views, making it a relaxing experience. The food was, of course, delicious, and I was very satisfied. For families with young children, there are plenty of indoor and outdoor activity plans, so there were many families with elementary school-aged kids and even babies, creating a lively atmosphere. Amenities in the room included a toothbrush, razor, cotton, and hair ties, but no cosmetics, so I was glad I brought my own. Instead of pajamas or loungewear, they provide yukata, but I noticed some men walking in the hallway with knee-length yukata, which made me wonder if larger sizes were unavailable. When going to the onsen, you need to bring your own bath towel and face towel from the room, but there are no bags or baskets provided, so it might be a good idea to bring your own. The distance from the room to the onsen is quite far, and you have to go outside, so it can be inconvenient depending on the weather. Towels are limited to one per person. The onsen does not provide lotion or other cosmetics, and in front of the mirror, there is only a locked hairdryer and tissues. Perhaps this is to prevent items from being taken? The service is minimal, almost refreshingly so, with nothing extra provided. However, the onsen entrance has automatic doors, and there is a water server conveniently located in the dressing room right after exiting the bath, so the facilities are well-equipped and sufficient. The buffet does not have a large variety of dishes, but I found it just right, as some hotels offer more than you can eat. It felt like a luxurious, well-equipped mountain lodge where I could truly relax. Next time, I’d like to stay with a ski plan.

Experience the extraordinary.
We were upgraded and stayed in the lodge building. The interior and furnishings were absolutely stunning, perfect for experiencing an extraordinary stay. However, the distance to the bath was too far, and it was unfortunate that we had to go outside temporarily. This could be challenging for elderly guests or during colder seasons. As it is a large facility, navigating through various areas can be difficult. It would be nice if the buffet had a bit more variety of dishes. Lastly, I hope for more courteous service from the male staff at the front desk. For first-time guests, even an abundance of explanations would be appreciated. While your daily tasks may feel repetitive, please approach each guest with a spirit of "once-in-a-lifetime" hospitality. This has become one of the accommodations I’d like to visit again!

The Facility is simply clean.
The facility is clean, but that's about it. The most important point to note is that the plan claiming you can choose your dining location might be misleading. Please confirm in advance. I booked a plan that stated you could choose between two dining locations, but at check-in, I was informed it was a designated buffet plan. I rechecked the reservation page, and there was no such mention; it clearly listed two dining facilities under the dinner section. When I pointed this out, I was told it was an issue with how it was listed on IKYU, not the hotel's fault, and ended up going to the buffet. Since the hotel claimed no fault, there was no apology. It seems there are plans with such descriptions, so I believe it was a mistake on the hotel's part, not IKYU. The system seems outdated. I chose this hotel to avoid buffets, but I feel deceived. You must call to confirm dining locations. - The buffet had limited options, was not tasty, and mostly consisted of frozen food. At the very least, hot dishes should be served hot, and cold dishes cold. Surprising that they use the LOTTE name without issue. It felt like a 500-yen business hotel breakfast had more variety. Personally, I was disappointed there were no desserts. - The dining area's capacity does not match the number of rooms in the hotel. Despite being the off-season, the restaurant was overcrowded. Tables were placed so close to the buffet shelves that it was hard to pass through. Please consider the guests' experience. The number of people exceeded what the space could handle. I can't imagine how it would be during peak season. The overcrowding alone significantly lowered satisfaction. - The onsen was very empty. However, the water temperature was noticeably different from what was stated on the signboard, either too low or too high. The outdoor bath, in particular, was lukewarm—barely warmer than a heated pool. The signboard claimed 41°C or higher, but the actual temperature was far off. Why even display it? - The bath chairs were too low, the front desk service was poor, and there was lipstick on a glass before use. It felt like the hotel was cutting costs with minimal staff, even if it inconvenienced guests. At least try to hide it. This time, I stayed on a cheap plan, but the issues unrelated to the plan were so bad that I would never pay full price to stay here. I should have realized it was just a hotel attached to a ski resort. If you're traveling with kids and looking for activities, you might be satisfied. Otherwise, there are better options elsewhere, and I won't be returning.

A secluded oasis with a sense of exclusivity
A wonderful and private resort space. Although I thought it might be a bit far, the room (stayed in the lodge building) had a very calming interior. Since it was off-season after summer vacation, there weren’t many people around, and I’m glad I chose this accommodation. ■ Meals: Delicious! The dishes served at the steakhouse were all excellent. I booked a two-meal plan, but note that the restaurants available vary depending on the date. The Western-style dinner buffet was average, but I enjoyed the Japanese breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, they didn’t serve Japanese cuisine for dinner during my stay—something to try next time! ■ Bath: Excellent! The outdoor jacuzzi was on the hotter side, which I liked. The women’s bath featured a mist sauna instead of dry and even had a rare cold bath (with mild temperature). However, there were no amenities like lotion or facial cleanser at the sink area, so you’ll need to bring your own. ■ Staff: Generally friendly with polite service overall. As with many hotels operating with limited staff numbers these days, some areas felt understaffed—for example during breakfast buffets where finished tables weren’t cleared promptly despite good seating being available nearby. When asking staff if they could clear one such table for us to use their response initially seemed hesitant though eventually resolved positively afterward once another team member stepped up later helping out kindly amidst busyness appreciated nonetheless yet smoother handling upfront would've been ideal here too perhaps improving guest experience further overall impression-wise similarly regarding spa access info missing check-in moment missed opportunity planning ahead better disappointing aspect otherwise fine stay generally speaking

The building is old but comfortable.
The building is old, and the rooms in the Arai wing are small. (It is said that the rooms in the Lodge wing are spacious and comfortable, so I would like to stay there next time.) The restaurant served delicious Japanese cuisine, and the service was very polite. Additionally, at Steak Restaurant BECO, you can enjoy a course meal that might cost twice as much in Tokyo for about 6,500 yen. It was very delicious and highly recommended. For lunch, curry at the cottage was about 1,600 yen—spicy and tasty. The kids' curry for 500 yen came with pudding. Children seemed to have a great time playing in the Koala's March baby room.

4th repeat visit
For the past four years, I have been visiting every summer. The stunning scenery and the comfortable morning and evening climate always help me refresh both body and mind. There have been some changes in services over time; this year, towel rentals for Onsen and pool use became a paid service, and the night pool was no longer included in the Plan. There were also changes to the dinner menu. Perhaps it was an exceptional value before. Despite such a large facility, everything is clean and well-maintained, which must be thanks to the hard work of many staff members. I look forward to visiting again!

I stayed here during summer vacation!
The young staff member at the Tree Adventure was kind, but the oldest staff member seemed unfriendly and intimidating. At the cafeteria under the gondola, the student-like staff were cheerful and left a good impression with their friendly service. However, they were casually snacking on watermelon with bare hands while cutting it, showing no intention of hiding it as they ate. The blonde staff member at the pool provided excellent service! She was friendly and attentive, and we appreciated her smile. The male staff also helped inflate our float ring, which was very helpful!

The facility is clean and lovely, but there are many areas that feel quite warm. The number of staff seemed limited, and sometimes no one answered the phone at the front desk. The large public bath was very pleasant and highly satisfying, though it would be nice if the amenities were more comprehensive. Including activities, the children were very satisfied. Since we stayed in the Club Building, traveling to the Arai Building was a bit far and challenging. However, considering the price, it was well worth it overall.

Exceptional value for money
Located just 20 minutes by Shuttle Service from the Shinkansen station, the location is excellent. Since it was not ski season, the guest rooms, meals, and Facility were luxurious and comfortable yet surprisingly affordable. The option for late check-out at 2 hours for 2200 yen was also a great feature. Activities within the Hotel (such as ziplining and tubing sliders) are priced at around 4000 yen per person, which is slightly high but enjoyable for both adults and children.

Decline in Service
I have used this accommodation multiple times, but I cannot help but feel a decline in service. First, the check-in process. There was only one staff member, and I was made to wait without even a simple "please wait for a moment." When I mentioned that it was a repeat visit, I was told, "No explanation is needed then," and simply handed the key. At the very least, I would have appreciated receiving a sheet with important information such as rules or meal times. Since it caused inconvenience later on, I had to go back to request one myself. The most confusing part of this stay was dinner. I made an online reservation for the steak restaurant only to be told upon arrival that "an additional fee is required because this is an accommodation plan limited to specific dining venues." This information wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the reservation page at all (though later research showed some plans did include such details). Even though all restaurants have the same standard dinner price, it seemed unreasonable that an extra charge of 3,000 yen per person applied here. However, arguing with restaurant staff wouldn’t solve anything so we paid as requested. There were other guests who appeared equally confused and dissatisfied about this issue; clearly many were not informed properly either. This should be addressed by ensuring clear explanations during booking or including such details in confirmation emails after completing reservations—or at least informing guests during check-in! Incidents like these make me hesitant about making future reservations out of concern for similar issues arising again. Additionally concerning: Onsen amenities like lotion are no longer provided—something unexpected for accommodations of this class level! Several guests expressed disappointment over its absence too... While eco-friendliness & cost-cutting measures matter greatly today—I urge reconsideration regarding guest comfort here. On a positive note—the Japanese breakfast served at your newly tried restaurant stood out wonderfully! It is a good Hotel.
I stayed at the hotel for the first time last year and had a great experience, so I decided to stay again this year. I liked that it was not crowded and there were no foreign tourists. Overall, the service was good, but the room cleaning was delayed. When I returned to my room around 3 PM, it hadn't been cleaned yet. I called the front desk and was told they would check on it, but it took about 30 minutes for the cleaning staff to arrive. Ideally, cleaning should be completed in the morning or at least by early afternoon. Since my stay was on a weekday, there was no night pool available, which was a bit disappointing. It would be even better if there were fireworks at night!

Items to be added
The weather was perfect, and it was a relaxing trip after a long time. This accommodation was my first time staying for one night. However, there were a few points of concern: Regarding the bath... It was disappointing that the facilities for men and women, such as saunas, were different but did not switch between morning and evening. This time, men had access to the sauna while women had access to the steam room. Also, the cold bath water was too lukewarm. There were no moisturizing amenities provided after bathing either. Another point is about meals... For small children, there weren’t many enjoyable food options available during meals. For example: At dinner—ice cream or similar treats would have been nice; At breakfast—sausages, bacon, nuggets, scrambled eggs could be included more prominently. Additionally, we had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated for breakfast which caused changes in our schedule afterward. Since most guests plan their day around their stay at accommodations like this one in advance—a 30-minute delay can significantly impact plans. Compared with international hotels I usually stay at (such as H Hotel or M Hotel), this experience felt slightly lacking overall.

I wanted to see this resort developed by Hideo Morita.
It was a Facility where Lotte's philosophy towards their business could be observed, for better or worse. I would like to visit again during the ski season to see how it is then.
