    A Resort Hotel in the City

    The room was stylish, and the amenities were excellent. The lounge offered a wide variety of drinks and an attractive selection of books, allowing for a relaxing time. Although I had made a reservation for breakfast, the long waiting time was disappointing. The galette was delicious.

    The sauna was excellent.

    I was really looking forward to this stay after a long time. After checking in, I relaxed a bit in the lounge and then headed straight to my main goal—the sauna! With the sauna set prepared by the hotel, I went to the sauna room... but forgot to wear slippers, so be careful as the floor can get quite hot. After that, I alternated between cold baths and the pool 2-3 times and felt more refreshed than expected. Later, I enjoyed some drinks in the lounge and had a relaxing time. The breakfast at the lounge the next morning was slightly uncomfortable due to sinking chairs, but everything else was very satisfying.

    Second Stay

    I travel about 10 times a year. This was my second stay here, the first in three years. The accommodation called the day before our stay, and I requested a baby bed. From check-in to check-out, the service was excellent. The main reason I decided to stay here again was the breakfast. During my previous visit, I hadn’t researched much but was impressed by the à la carte menu and thought that if I had another chance to visit Saga, I would definitely choose this accommodation again. However, since my expectations were high, it was disappointing that what used to be Saga beef steak three years ago had been replaced with a thinner cut of meat. Given current circumstances, it might be unavoidable. Although the weather wasn’t great this time around, we managed to swim in the pool as it was only drizzling lightly. The children enjoyed it very much as there were three depth levels—shallow, medium, and deep—making it safe even for our 4-year-old and infant. We also appreciated being able to borrow ponchos and beach sandals. As for areas of improvement: both teaspoons in our room were dirty; additionally, we noticed mold on the laundry basket so we avoided putting personal items inside and used it only for towels after use. Overall though, this stay was highly satisfying once again! If you could bring back Saga beef steak in future stays—it would definitely earn five stars from me! Thank you very much!

    I stayed with my ele...

    I stayed with my elementary school daughter. The Chinese dinner was delicious, and we enjoyed every bite! The morning galette was also very tasty. The sauna by the pool was pleasantly hot, and with a relaxed checkout time, my child happily played in the pool for a long time while I enjoyed the gym and lounge. We had a highly satisfying staycation. Thank you very much!

    Beyond expectations

    Great value for money. Amazing breakfast. A must-visit when traveling in Saga! The pool and sauna are excellent. Although I want to keep it a secret, highly recommended to everyone!

    Rediscover the essence of travel.

    Due to the nationwide rise in accommodation prices, staying at a hotel had become more of a necessity after sightseeing rather than an enjoyable experience, as long as there were no major negatives (like low water pressure or minor cleanliness issues). However, staying here reminded me that staying at a hotel can also be part of the joy of traveling. The hospitality of the staff, the soothing scent, the high-ceilinged room with an outdoor jacuzzi, and the spacious balcony providing a sense of openness were all wonderful. The meals were delicious as well. I ordered room service and appreciated how they ensured dishes stayed warm for enjoyment. While it might seem expensive compared to other reservations on the same date, considering its quality and satisfaction level, I found it reasonably priced.

    This was my first stay. The hotel's design and layout were stylish, and the room was very functional. The basics were well thought out, allowing for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast is a set menu with additional options, and even just the galette breakfast offered variety, making it enjoyable even for a multiple night stay. Additionally, the consideration for days when I had to leave early and couldn't match the breakfast time was excellent.

    A resort experience in the heart of Saga City!

    The Hotel lobby is small but filled with a pleasant aroma, instantly giving a resort-like feel. The entire interior is beautifully stylish. This was my second stay, and the lounge offerings had improved. The drink selection, including alcoholic beverages, was extensive, and there were more varieties of sweets to enjoy at leisure. Most notably, as I felt during my previous visit, the breakfast is outstanding! You can choose between Japanese or Western-style meals and also select from an à la carte menu. Local dishes like squid shumai, mini steak, Sicilian rice, and magenta are available alongside pancakes and ice cream for a diverse and satisfying meal. The Room was clean with well-stocked amenities. It’s definitely a Hotel I’d love to stay at again!

    I had a pleasant stay.

    Although my check-in was late and the stay was short, I had a pleasant experience. The reviews for breakfast were good, but perhaps my expectations were too high as it wasn't an exceptional experience. Improved hospitality in serving and cooking could have made a better impression. If I visit Saga again, I would like to stay here once more.

    Lovely Hotel

    It was a very lovely Hotel. The staff's service was polite, and the Facility and Room were new and comfortable. The bathroom was stylish, allowing for a very relaxing experience. I would love to stay at this Hotel again if I have the chance.

    It was a comfortable Hotel stay.

    We stayed as a family of three with our 6-month-old baby. The provision of a diaper pail and Nemulila during meals was very helpful. Although we couldn't use the cottage due to the rain, the Room was lovely, and we had an enjoyable Hotel stay.

    Good Hotel

    The Hotel was clean and the staff's explanations and hospitality were excellent! The amenities were more complete compared to other Hotels, with packs, lotions, emulsions, etc., so I thought it would be fine even if I came empty-handed! I think I'll stay here again when I travel to this area next time!

    I always use it when...

    I always use it when I go to Saga. The Room is clean, and in addition to the lounge and fitness, a sauna has recently been added, making the Facility perfect. Above all, the breakfast unique to the Garden Terrace Hotel Group is the biggest attraction, with free drinks including champagne and local gourmet à la carte. A Hotel worth visiting just for breakfast!

    I arrived late and left early, so I couldn't use it this time, but the terrace sauna was lovely. I understand that it is part of the same group as Urari at Takeo Onsen where I stayed the previous day. I hope to relax next time.

    Time flows leisurely.

    It was a Hotel where you could feel a very pleasant and leisurely flow of time. The interior was simple and understated, which paradoxically felt rich, conveying the idea that the people spending time there are the main characters.     This is a highly satisfactory Hotel.

    I have stayed several times and was able to relax again this time. The staff at check-in were very courteous and left a good impression. The room is also clean. Room service was very delicious. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western (galette), and there are several free a la carte options, which made me full. Overall, I think it is a highly satisfying hotel.

    Wonderful Stays Experience!

    This was my first time using the Garden Terrace Saga Hotel. Everything was in excellent condition, including the staff's customer service, the well-equipped lounge facility, and the comfortable accommodation environment. The quality and variety of the breakfast menu were particularly outstanding. The teppanyaki dinner the previous night was also excellent, but the breakfast was so exceptional that I would like to visit again just for it, as it was an experience unlike any other.

    It became a wonderful memory!

    This time, we stayed for 2 days and 1 night with a family of four, including an elementary school student! In celebration of our child's birthday, we were able to arrange a cake and change the dinner in advance with a pleasant phone response, allowing us to approach the day with peace of mind. On the day of our stay, we were welcomed into a truly wonderful room, with chocolates prepared for the child as a birthday perk, and the club lounge was extremely comfortable. The teppanyaki dinner was visually appealing and delicious, leaving us very full! The Acqua Pazza was the best! We felt sorry that our child ate too many snacks beforehand and left a little food. The galette for breakfast the next day was something we wanted to go back for immediately! The ability to choose from an à la carte menu and enjoy alcohol from the morning was fantastic! We were able to celebrate a truly wonderful birthday with our family, and the children were all delighted to have stayed here, which I believe is thanks to the various thoughtful gestures of the staff. We will use this Property again when we come to Saga. Thank you very much for the wonderful memories.

    Favorite Hotel

    I stayed in a Deluxe Room this time, and the room was spacious, allowing me to relax comfortably. I liked the room with a terrace and it was my favorite, but I liked the Deluxe Room even more. After checking in, I spent some relaxing time in the lounge, and after returning to the room, I enjoyed a luxurious time listening to music. The sound quality from the BOSE speakers was excellent, which is one of the reasons my husband loves this hotel. Since I wanted to relax in the room, I opted for room service for dinner, which was also delicious. For breakfast, I enjoyed some a la carte dishes with sparkling wine and was quite full. With a checkout time of 12:00, I was able to relax and listen to music in the room after breakfast without rushing. This is my favorite hotel where I can unwind like at home and enjoy luxurious time that I can't at home, freeing myself from the hectic daily life. The hospitality and service were impeccable, and I left thinking I would like to stay again. Thank you for taking care of us.

    Resort Design Hotel Stay

    The cold Ureshino tea served at check-in was very delicious. The Room had lovely interiors with a spacious terrace, providing a sense of openness. For dinner, I ordered Chinese food through room service, which was delicious. The lounge had a quiet and accessible atmosphere, offering drinks and local sweets, which I enjoyed. When I consulted about the room's wifi, I received very kind assistance, allowing me to have a comfortable stay. I chose Japanese cuisine for breakfast, and everything was delicious. I particularly liked the white miso soup, which was very tasty. In the morning, I was lucky to see several balloons floating in the western sky from the hallway. The Hotel staff provided pleasant service, and I am truly grateful for their thoughtfulness. The Hotel's design made it feel like a resort just by being inside.

    I chose a plan with breakfast because it was said to be delicious, but due to the influence of the national sports festival, there was no availability at my desired breakfast time, and I ended up eating a cold sandwich alone in my room, which was disappointing. I think it would have been possible to confirm the breakfast time when the reservation was confirmed two days prior. Also, I believe it could have been possible to have the regular breakfast delivered to the room, or at least include some warm soup. The difference between having breakfast included and not was about 10,000 yen, so it was very disappointing.

    I was very satisfied with both the meals and the service.

    I made a reservation based on reviews on the site. The dinner looked delicious on the website, so I booked a plan that included teppanyaki. The ingredients and dishes were more delicious than expected, and I was especially thrilled to see the meat being grilled in front of me with a flame show. For the final dessert, they squeezed the chestnut paste for the Mont Blanc right in front of us. The Saga galette and local specialty squid shumai for breakfast the next morning were also delicious. The service from the staff was perfect. However, the fact that there was only one card key for the room and the room was slightly narrow, with only enough space for one person to pass by my husband, was a minus one star. I thought I might choose a slightly larger room next time.
