On the rooftop open-air bath, you can enjoy the refreshing autumn breeze while occasionally spotting white-tailed eagles soaring above. The facility offers three barrel baths with varying temperatures—mild, medium, and hot—to suit your preference. Additionally, there are rock baths and cypress baths; it would be delightful if one of them featured milder temperatures or special options like yuzu or herbal-infused water for a unique experience.

    A mother-daughter trip created wonderful memories.

    I stayed for one night with my mother, and the Room was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. There were various types of baths with beautiful views, which my mother also enjoyed. We chose Italian cuisine for our meal, and every dish was delicious and satisfying. I would love to stay here again!

    I had a relaxing and refreshing time.

    I had a comfortable stay in a "quiet room with a great view" as I had hoped. The onsen was spacious and relaxing, and I was guided to good seats for both dinner and breakfast. Dinner was Italian, exceeding my expectations in both quality and quantity, so I ended up eating a bit too much. Breakfast was Japanese-style with plenty of variety and very delicious. As for the facility, two points caught my attention: the bedside nightlight was too far to operate while lying down, and the water flow in the sink was weak, taking time to fill a glass (this might be adjustable). Additionally, it would be more convenient if toothbrushes were provided in different colors among consumables. The staff welcomed me warmly upon arrival and sent me off kindly at departure; their hospitality made me want to stay here again.

    The Finest Hospitality

    We visited on a Saturday weekend when the intense summer heat had finally subsided. Despite the rain, we were warmly greeted outside and guided to the entrance. The Room featured tatami flooring, allowing for bare feet comfort. The low beds were designed for relaxation and ease. The large public bath offered multiple tubs to enjoy, though the number of washing stations felt slightly limited. The creative Italian dinner was perfect in portion, taste, and timing of service. Breakfast was not a buffet style, allowing us to enjoy it calmly at our table. The Room was fully equipped with coffee, tea, cups, glasses—everything you could need. In addition to the towel set provided in a basket for use at the public bath, separate bath towels were also prepared for use in the Room's shower. It was hospitality at its finest. You can truly feel that all staff members are dedicated to providing thoughtful service at this wonderful Hotel.

    The view from the bath is excellent. The dog-friendly room is...

    The large public bath on the 7th floor offers a variety of options, is spacious, and has an excellent view. While it is appreciated that dogs are allowed to stay in the same room, the pathways for movement and access to the dog run feel inadequate, giving an impression of using less popular rooms. If possible, it would be great if the room on the first floor used for late-night meals could also be utilized during dinner time with dogs.

    The panoramic Onsen large bath was amazing!

    I stayed for one night with my wife. We were looking forward to the panoramic onsen bath, and it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the chirping of birds, refreshing breeze, and beautiful scenery while bathing. Imagining how stunning it would be during the autumn foliage season made us linger in the onsen until we almost felt overheated. The room also offered a wonderful view of Nasu's landscape. Dinner was Italian cuisine, featuring local ingredients with excellent seasoning—it was absolutely delicious. We shared one pizza between us and were quite full, but a staff member kindly mentioned that we could have free refills if we wanted more. My wife and I exchanged smiles saying "We're so full!" It was perfectly timed hospitality that made us feel very welcome. The staff members are all incredibly hospitable, making our stay truly comfortable. This is an accommodation we'd love to visit again—hopefully during the autumn foliage season next time!

    The Italian cuisine was excellent.

    The Italian dinner was excellent. The freshly baked pizza was very delicious, and the system allowing for refills added to the satisfaction. Additionally, while many hotels now offer buffet breakfasts, this Hotel provided a proper set Western-style breakfast with a rich variety of options, allowing for a calm and enjoyable dining experience. The quality of the meals makes me want to revisit just for the food. The bath on the top floor offered great views and had a wide variety of tubs, making it very fulfilling.

    The Onsen felt like a private experience as it was not crowded, which was great. The meals were just the right amount and delicious, leaving us very satisfied. Since there’s nothing around, it’s perfect for those who want to relax. It might not be suitable for families with children.

    I made a Reservation...

    I made a Reservation through IKYU and noted an arrival time of 3:00 PM. However, as we planned to stop by Rindo Lake, I called the Hotel two days prior to inform them that we might arrive later than 3:00 PM. They advised me to contact them if our arrival would be after 7:00 PM. We proceeded as planned and arrived at around 4:30 PM. At check-in, I was informed that dinner would start at 5:20 PM and was told curtly, "This is because you mentioned a 3:00 PM arrival." Surprised, I asked, "Isn't this quite early for dinner?" Despite having called in advance, there was no explanation provided beforehand. The staff's lack of friendliness when answering my questions left me feeling disappointed from the start. Traveling with elderly parents, we had hoped for some time to relax in the Room before dinner. The dinner itself was decent but unremarkable in terms of quantity and variety. A student part-time staff member serving us stood out with their polite service. While other staff members were also courteous overall, it felt unsettling being repeatedly checked on whether we had finished eating. The Onsen and views were excellent and very enjoyable. However, the Room felt cramped for four people; with futons already laid out upon our arrival, it seemed even more confined. Despite these comments above, thank you for your hospitality during our stay!

    The bath is excellent.

    We stayed at this accommodation as it allows dogs. The onsen was absolutely amazing, and the view of the Nasu mountain range from the rooftop large bath was breathtaking and truly liberating. The open-air baths were well-equipped, and we enjoyed multiple soaks with perfectly warm water. The sauna added to the relaxation experience. It’s clear why this place is selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Accommodations by professionals. The hotel offers various events such as a summer triangle stargazing tour, marshmallow roasting gatherings, and corn harvesting experiences—highly recommended for creating lasting memories. At breakfast, we were served freshly picked corn which was incredibly delicious. Moving around within the hotel was stress-free without endless hallways to walk through, making it convenient even for elderly guests. The dog run brought immense joy to our dog who ran around happily; we loved its greenery and spaciousness. Relaxing in a nearby hammock while gazing at the sky was incredibly soothing—highly recommended. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you very much!

    With Your Dog

    We stayed at the accommodation on our way back home with my spouse and two beloved dogs. The room was impeccably clean, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable stay. For dinner, we had Japanese cuisine, which was not only visually stunning but also absolutely delicious, leaving us completely satisfied. The timing of the service was perfect, making it an exceptional experience. For breakfast, we chose Western-style dishes featuring freshly baked bread and poached eggs alongside a table full of delightful options—all of which were delicious. Even my husband, who usually prefers Japanese food, was deeply impressed. Above all else, the staff members were incredibly kind and attentive in their service; their professionalism truly stood out and left us amazed by how well-trained they are. The amenities for dogs were excellent as well! The spacious dog run felt like a private space since we used it early in the morning—and even balls were provided for playtime! It was such a thoughtful touch that made us very happy. Additionally, since there is elevator access from the lobby to the room area, having a pet cart would be quite convenient. It turned out to be an extremely pleasant stay overall—we definitely look forward to visiting again next year!

    The bath is excellent.

    The Room was on the 6th floor with a great view and a clean atmosphere. Amenities were plentiful. The large public bath was excellent, with many baths available and comfortable temperatures. However, the shower water pressure was weak, which was inconvenient. For dinner, we chose Italian cuisine, but there were issues with the serving time. Despite being a set course meal, the appetizers and desserts took a long time to be served. However, the taste was delicious. Overall, I think it is reasonably priced for what is offered.

    First-time stay. Here are the pros and cons of my experience: **Pros:** - Upon arrival, a staff member greeted us at the parking lot, helped with our luggage, and assisted with check-in. Very helpful! - The amenities were abundant and made for a comfortable stay. - The man at the front desk wearing glasses provided excellent service. - The bath was very relaxing! During my visit, it was almost empty, allowing me to unwind peacefully. The open-air bath was spacious as well. **Cons:** - Some dishes were slightly bland overall. Both breakfast and dinner soups and side dishes lacked seasoning; I even had to request extra salt separately. - One male waiter seemed inattentive—he placed plates on top of menus we were reading, and his fingers touched inside the plates while serving them, which felt unhygienic to use afterward. - Dust had accumulated in some areas like the TV stand or air purifier in the room—it caught my attention. - Understandably due to the season, but there were many bugs around the bath area (a bit distracting). - I was looking forward to enjoying drinks at the bar counter in the evening; however, it wasn’t open during my visit (though when I asked at reception they kindly prepared drinks for me—but having them on a lobby sofa wasn’t quite what I expected). The most noticeable issue for me was related to food quality since I had high expectations beforehand—but aside from that aspect—I thoroughly enjoyed my stay overall! Rated 4 stars out of 5!

    Second stay. My husband loved the bath, so we decided to use it again. Both the Room and bath are excellent, but apart from meals, there was no interaction with the staff, which made it feel less welcoming. The reception is automated, which felt a bit lonely.

    Mother-Daughter Trip

    It was our first trip with my mother and three daughters. The meals were delicious, the open-air bath was beautiful, and the scenery was wonderful. However, regarding the Room, it had a slight partition with two beds and a Japanese-style area. Since there were four of us, one futon was placed at the foot of the beds and another in the Japanese-style area. The table in the tatami room was pushed to the side, making it feel very cramped and not suitable for relaxing. It felt like a two-person Room with two additional futons added. The Room itself was clean, which made this aspect disappointing. Overall though, we were very satisfied and would consider staying again while keeping in mind the size of the Room.

    I felt very relaxed!

    We stayed for one night from 4/25 with my spouse and our beloved dog. It was our first time, but the staff were incredibly kind, and we felt truly relaxed. The room was spacious and clean, the dog run was large enough for our dog to run around freely, and the meals were absolutely delicious! We even had seconds of the pizza. Thank you for accommodating us by preparing meals so that we could take turns dining without leaving our dog alone in the room. And above all, the bath was amazing. The open-air bath was so perfect with its scenery and water temperature that I wanted to stay in it forever. We’ve already made a reservation to visit again during summer vacation with my parents and sister’s family! Looking forward to it!

    The bath is the number one among all accommodations I have stayed at.

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with our dog. The staff's attentiveness and hospitality were excellent. The bath was the best we've experienced among all the accommodations we've stayed at so far. Both the Italian and Japanese meals were very delicious, with just the right portions. However, one thing that caught our attention was that on the second morning, the salad, yogurt, and fruits for breakfast were already set on our table as well as others' when we arrived. While this is common in many hotels, even after some guests had finished their meals and left their seats, there were still untouched salads, fruits, and yogurts sitting out for other guests who hadn't arrived yet. Although we enjoyed them ourselves without issue, it would have been better if they could serve fresh salads with a crisp texture or chilled yogurt and fruits upon seating to enhance the experience further. It’s a small detail considering how delicious everything was—it felt like a missed opportunity to make it perfect! Nonetheless, we definitely want to stay here again next time! Thank you so much to all of your wonderful staff!

    During the Golden We...

    During the Golden Week, it seems that many part-time high school students were working. The service during meal times and explanations about the food were disappointing. It's a shame because the hot spring was excellent. We understand that managing staff during busy and quiet periods can be challenging, but stricter adherence to manuals or better training might help improve the experience.

    It was excellent!

    We visited as a couple with our dog. In conclusion, it was truly worth the visit. The Hotel is new, so everything is clean. As a homemaker, I couldn't help but notice how well-maintained everything was (the Room, hallways, large bath, etc.). All the staff were kind and attentive. The meals were delicious and perfectly portioned. The view from the Hotel was also wonderful. There were plenty of amenities for dogs as well. This might have been coincidental, but all the other guests with dogs were lovely people too, making it a delightful experience overall. Thank you very much!

    The bath was excellent!

    Stayed with my beloved dog and 10-month-old baby! It was my baby's first trip, so I was a bit anxious, but the staff were kind and talked to us a lot, which kept the baby happy. The dining area was accessible with a stroller, which was very convenient as it coincided with nap time. Our dog stayed in the room while we dined, but unfortunately barked quite a bit—apologies for that. Since I was worried about my dog and my child became fussy due to sleepiness, we requested faster meal service, and they kindly accommodated us. The bath had an amazing view and was truly relaxing! Baby chairs and baby baths were provided so even our child could enjoy the Onsen experience—it made us very satisfied. One issue: when we entered the room, there were many hairs under the table that clearly weren’t ours—it felt unpleasant. We cleaned it up ourselves using a lint roller... Other than that, the room was quiet without any dog smell; everything else allowed for a very comfortable stay. Thank you so much!!

    A solo trip to relax and unwind in an Onsen led me to choose this accommodation through IKYU. The Onsen water was silky smooth, and the outdoor baths offered various options with breathtaking views! Other guests also praised the quality of the water. The complimentary ice cream after a bath was a delightful touch! Then came the much-anticipated dinner! The portions and flavors were just right for my taste, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely meal even though I was dining alone. The croissants at breakfast were so delicious that I couldn't resist having seconds. The amenities and room furnishings were flawless. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that I wished the vending machines were placed in more accessible locations; going all the way up to the top floor felt inconvenient, so I ended up skipping it. Next time, I'd love to visit with someone else!

    It was a very good accommodation.

    We stayed for one night as a family of four, including three adults and one child. The interior and rooms had an antique style with a great atmosphere, and above all, everything was clean and comfortable. The amenities were well-prepared, and we were impressed by the individual basket bags provided for each person to carry towels to the bath! At the dining area, the friendly staff with warm smiles made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed delicious Italian cuisine in a delightful setting. They even surprised us by celebrating our child's special occasion, which made us very happy.

    We chose to stay here because we could bring our dog. Although there weren't many Rooms specifically for pets, everything necessary was well-prepared, and we had no inconveniences. The bath was excellent. For meals, we opted for creative Italian cuisine, which was very delicious. We could get pizza refills, and the whitebait pizza was so tasty that we had seconds and left feeling full. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

    This accommodation offers stunning views from the 7th-floor onsen and rooms. The rooms are compact but clean and comfortable, and the Italian course meals were delicious.     There was a slight issue this time.

    This is my fourth time using this place. I like the Onsen on the rooftop, so I use it every year. However, this time I had to lower the rating. The reason is that the water temperature of the three pot baths was too low, and even though they were outdoors, it was too cold to enter. When I contacted the front desk and had them check, it turned out to be a Facility malfunction, so I couldn't use it during my stay. I wish they had checked the water temperature after cleaning and taken measures in advance. Also, during breakfast, no staff came even after pressing the table bell several times, and when I checked, the power was off. I would like these things to be checked in advance as well. During dinner, I was initially guided to the wrong table. It was okay because I noticed before starting the meal. When I checked in and entered the Room, there was a smell like tobacco. I don't think anyone smoked since it was a non-smoking Room, but the smell of smokers lingers quite a bit, so I hope they thoroughly ventilate during cleaning. I thought I could have a calm stay when the number of guests decreased significantly after the New Year. It was quiet and nice, but there were some minor issues this time. I've written mostly complaints, but all the staff were pleasant, and there was no problem with that. I use it because I like the variety of open-air baths on the rooftop and the view of the Nasu mountains from there. I will probably go again.

    We went on an Onsen trip with our beloved dog and family. The staff were kind, the food was delicious, and we were very satisfied with the open-air bath. We would like to use it again. The free ice candy service after the bath was also a delight.

    We visited for my parents' wedding celebration. The restaurant staff were very kind, and my parents were very pleased. We were touched by the wonderful service, including a message plate and taking photos for us. The photos came with handwritten messages, which made us feel warm.
