    Fishing Port View

    Stayed in a Room on the 4th floor with a fishing port view. The Facility, Room, meals, and service were of exceptional Hyatt quality and very satisfying. Regarding the view from the window, stepping out onto the terrace reveals that about 2/3 of the view consists of a parking lot and fishing port in the foreground, with Busena in the distance, while 1/3 is occupied by Hotel buildings. While inside the guest room, I hardly noticed the parking lot or Hotel buildings. Of course, preferences may vary depending on individual expectations (and considering the price), but it didn’t particularly bother me. (It seems there are also Rooms not facing Busena.)

    The parking lot is narrow, and I was nervous about not hitting the rental car against the pillars. Check-in took about 30 minutes. Meals included dinner and breakfast, both of which were very delicious and highly satisfying. The French toast at breakfast was so good that I ended up eating five pieces by myself. The room in the Beach House building was spacious and comfortable. However, it rained heavily during breakfast, so I thought staying in the Island building might have been better. The coin laundry fees seemed a bit high. The staff's service was excellent; they flexibly accommodated my request to slightly change the dinner reservation time as it was tight. Since the meals were particularly great, I would like to stay here again!

    I chose this accommodation with confidence due to good reviews and the Hyatt brand, but unfortunately, I had several disappointing experiences, possibly because the staff seemed inexperienced. For a restaurant reservation for 4 adults and 2 toddlers, I requested two toddler chairs in the comment section when booking online. Upon arrival at reception, I was told the number of people in my reservation was incorrect. Although we were eventually guided to our table, only one toddler chair was prepared. We had to fetch another chair ourselves from the back of the restaurant. When we asked for toddler plates, only one was brought out (despite there being two toddlers). The next morning at breakfast buffet, while our reserved seats were correctly prepared this time, again only one toddler chair was provided. It seemed unnoticed that without a proper seat for both toddlers, one would have to sit at an adult's table where it would be uncomfortably high for them. Additionally, despite being there early in the morning when it wasn’t crowded yet, there was only one child’s cup available; even after asking staff to replenish them and waiting 10 minutes or more—nothing happened. These may seem like minor issues but such items like cups and cutlery should have been ready beforehand. The staff appeared very busy throughout. It made me wonder if they can handle peak seasons like summer holidays properly under these circumstances. On a positive note: The room itself was clean and well-maintained as expected from Hyatt standards—it left a great impression overall! However unfortunately dining experience within hotel fell short significantly compared expectations due lack attentiveness efficiency among team members working there during stay period . Hoping improvements will come soon ensuring better care responsiveness future guests alike !

    A Hotel to Stay Every Summer and Autumn

    From the moment of arrival at the Hotel, every location was fantastic, and we spent the entire day enjoying the Gusuku Pool. The Daytime Beverage Pass was available from 10:00 to 17:00, allowing us to relax while taking in the beautiful scenery. I believe this Hotel offers the best breakfast in Okinawa, and I was looking forward to it again this time—it was absolutely delicious! Next time, I’d love to try out the tent sauna during winter.

    It was excellent.

    The staff were all kind and made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The pool with a sea view was spectacular, and the children enjoyed playing there. We would love to visit again!

    A Disappointing Birthday

    Celebrated my 50th birthday with my high school daughter, staying for two nights (Saturday and Sunday) with a breakfast-included Plan. On Sunday morning, the breakfast area was extremely crowded with long lines, and many families made it difficult to enjoy a relaxing meal. Feeling disappointed, I casually checked the Hotel's website and discovered that during our stay, the Saturday and Sunday breakfast buffet could be exchanged for a lunch buffet. However, when I hurriedly inquired at the front desk, I was informed that the lunch buffet had already ended. Since Monday did not offer a lunch buffet option, no exchange was possible. The explanation ended there without any alternative solutions provided. It would have been helpful if this information had been clearly communicated to eligible guests during check-in. To make matters worse, it turned out to be my favorite Hawaiian-themed buffet—my daughter and I left feeling very sad about how our birthday stay concluded.

    Wonderful Hotel

    As the reviews mentioned, it was a wonderful hotel from the moment we arrived. We used the all-you-can-drink plan by the night poolside, which offered a wide variety of drinks. The pool was a beautiful space both during the day and at night. The hotel's service was also excellent. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from.

    We stayed with child...

    We stayed with children. The access between the pool and the room was smooth. The kids were very satisfied with the pool, and being able to swim until 21:00 was fantastic. The dryer and air pump were also helpful. When we went to Cerale on the first floor around 7:30, there was a wait of 60 groups. Having lounge access was a great help. The service from the lounge staff was pleasant as well. Our children want to visit again, so we will definitely return!

    Staff shortages were noticeable.

    Third stay at the accommodation. Previously stayed in February 2019 right after its opening and again in February 2020 just before COVID-19. The first time, the facility was brand new and beautiful, leaving us very satisfied. Both previous stays were in winter, so this time we decided to experience the summer pool by staying during summer for the first time. My husband and I had one room, while our son had another. At check-in, the front desk staff kindly arranged adjacent rooms for us. So far so good. However, when a Chinese staff member escorted us to our rooms via elevator, they said in broken Japanese, "Please choose whichever room you like." This confused me since specific rooms had already been assigned at check-in. Nevertheless, we split up and entered separate rooms. The staff then mentioned that "If you leave the balcony door open for 3 or 5 seconds, the air conditioning will stop immediately," which surprised my husband and me as it seemed inconvenient. Due to their limited Japanese skills, we felt bad asking too many questions and let them leave quickly. As we unpacked our luggage—brought along due to preparations for our daughter's wedding—and stored everything neatly in closets, I realized that my husband’s and my room only had one key card while my son received two cards with his paper case. It turned out that we were given each other’s rooms by mistake. We considered calling reception to simply exchange keys but couldn’t get through on the phone; plus all charges were set under my name as I was listed as the primary guest with billing tied to our room number. Reluctantly accepting this mix-up meant moving all of our belongings between two adjacent rooms located directly across from an elevator hall where passersby curiously watched us shuffle items back-and-forth with both doors propped open using slippers—a tiring ordeal indeed. Finally settled into what should have been “our” correct room setup; stepping onto its balcony prompted me saying aloud: “Let’s hurry closing windows before AC stops within seconds!” My son replied amusedly: “That same staff told *me* earlier about minutes—not seconds—it makes no sense otherwise.” Fair point! It seems understaffing issues force reliance upon inadequately trained personnel whose language barriers hinder smooth service delivery—understandable yet disappointing considering expectations associated w/Hyatt branding standards seemingly lowered significantly here lately… Dinner @robata grill took frustratingly long (~35 mins waiting per order arrival), though food quality remained excellent overall! Meanwhile yoga activity offered during stay proved absolutely fantastic!

    Anniversary Use

    We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. This time, it was just the two of us without kids, so we chose a hotel where adults could enjoy themselves. Right after check-in, we enjoyed the beach → dinner → night pool → breakfast → pool until just before check-out → exploring the hotel! In Okinawa, we often choose locally-owned accommodations, and this was our first time at Hyatt Regency. The staff at the front desk, room service, restaurant kitchen and hall all made our anniversary unforgettable with their warm hospitality over these two days. For dinner, we sat at the counter of Shirakachi Robata and were touched by the beautiful sunset and celebratory plate. Although our room faced eastward on the 7th floor as arranged for us, it offered a stunning view of calm seas through its wide windows! The spacious room exceeded expectations with its beautiful scenery and bathroom facilities. The cassette coffee provided in-room was delicious; we enjoyed it on the terrace. The beach had many couples from overseas while staff members seemed to come from various countries too—enhancing that travel vibe! While having a public bath would be nice additionally appreciated feature overall convenience within private bathrooms suffices perfectly fine here instead. Since property isn’t overly large itself during peak summer vacation periods when families arrive likely potential overcrowding concerns arise regarding both beaches/pools capacity limits yet visiting off-season ensures comfortable experience altogether instead! Lastly location-wise convenient proximity airport minimizes wasted transit times enabling smoother sightseeing opportunities nearby attractions alike overall thank-you memorable stay wonderful moments shared together

    I would love to stay here again and again.

    Enjoy a discounted stay with our time sale! My daughter found it and we booked immediately. On the last day of summer vacation, it was lively with families, but the location was unbeatable... We spent hours gazing at the ocean from the poolside. The breakfast is delicious! The staff's smiles make for a pleasant start to the day. Next time, we’d love to stay for a multiple night stay!

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time staying here. The Hotel was new and very clean. The pool was also comfortable. There were two elevators, one on the lobby side and one on the pool side, which made movement efficient and allowed for a pleasant stay. The coin laundry was cashless, making it convenient to use. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. You could even reserve your spot for breakfast online, which eliminated any stress from waiting in line. Carts were running regularly between the Hotel and the parking lot, making transportation easy as well. I would love to stay here again!

    It was the best 2-night, 3-day stay.

    This was our first stay at this accommodation, which had been on our shortlist for a while. It was so amazing that I wished we had stayed here earlier! We had requested a baby crib in advance, and they even provided an anti-slip mat for the bathroom without us asking—such thoughtful service! The lobby was beautiful, the room was spacious and clean, and we were very satisfied with everything. For dinner on the first night, we dined at Shirakachi Robata. The food was delicious, featuring dishes made with Okinawan ingredients. We enjoyed it while watching the sunset—it was truly satisfying. When making the reservation, I selected "birthday" in one of the options but didn’t mention anything specific. However, they surprised us with a dessert plate that had a "Happy Birthday" message on it. For breakfast, I looked forward to their famous French toast. Even my husband, who doesn’t usually enjoy sweet foods, loved it so much that he ate it two days in a row! There were many types of pools available; our kids especially liked the pool with balls in it. Most facilities don’t allow children in night pools, but here they do—something we really appreciated. The only downside was that the parking lot felt narrow. Although I drive daily and rented a smaller car (Yaris Cross) than my usual one at home, I didn’t feel confident driving there due to tight spaces near gates and between cars—I left it to my husband instead. We also parked where no cars were next to us because opening doors felt risky. On this trip, we visited Jungleia on day two and ended up spending less time at the hotel than planned. Next time we’ll make sure to allocate more time for enjoying our stay here fully! Thank you for such a wonderful trip!

    The facility itself is new and clean, but the hospitality is a bit disappointing.

    Good Points The accommodation is still new and clean. Having an indoor pool was convenient, especially on rainy days. The meals were luxurious and excellent. Both the Eggs Benedict and French Toast lived up to their reputation for being delicious. Amenities such as skincare products, bathrobes, and beach shoes were provided, which was satisfying. Disappointing Points The facility's guidance was unclear, and I couldn't find the pool without asking the staff for directions. The cleanliness of the restroom next to the pool bar was terrible. Additionally, although it may have been my own carelessness, the glass-tiled floor of the pool area was slippery, causing me to fall on the pool stairs. There were about two lifeguard staff members just 1 meter behind me who showed no reaction at all, which surprised me. While I wasn't a child or drowning in the pool at that moment, I wondered if ensuring overall safety in the pool area wasn't part of their job... This being my first stay here with high expectations for great hospitality made this experience quite disappointing.

    Hyatt is the best.

    This time we stayed at the beach house. The Room was spacious and had a daybed, so even three of us could stay comfortably. All of the Hotel staff were truly pleasant, friendly, and kind. The night pool was wonderful and well worth visiting. The breakfast buffet was also very delicious. This is a Hotel we would like to stay at again when we come to Okinawa.

    The best breakfast! A truly satisfying stay.

    The French toast for breakfast was truly delicious! The variety of dishes was impressive and very satisfying. The Italian course dinner was also tasty and very filling. The pool and marine activities were excellent, and the Room was clean, luxurious, and very relaxing. The only downside was the long wait time during check-in, but even with that, I am extremely satisfied. I will definitely visit again!

    This was my second stay, and it was a very satisfying trip.

    It was our second stay after visiting six years ago. During our first visit, our child was only two years old, so we spent a short time in the pool in the evening and explored other tourist spots. This time, with our child now in elementary school, we enjoyed the pool in the morning and evening, dined at the restaurant, and even experienced the night pool. We spent most of our time at Hyatt Regency. The snorkeling tour was also very convenient as we could board directly from the hotel. The restaurants offered a variety of cuisines, allowing us to enjoy delicious meals without getting bored. The staff were cheerful and kind, making it possible for us to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay throughout. Although I’d like to explore various accommodations in Okinawa someday, I love the relaxed atmosphere of this hotel so much that I might end up staying here again!

    Stayed for 3 nights with an ocean view and experienced no inconvenience. The staff's service, the Room, meals, pool, private beach, and more were flawless. The fireworks and scenery were absolutely stunning. Will definitely visit again.

    I stayed on the second floor of the beach house. I was looking forward to the view, but unfortunately, I could only see trees and not the ocean, which was very disappointing. Other than that, the staff, pool, and breakfast were excellent.

    We revisited because we had such a great time last year. The stunning view, clean Room, large refrigerator, and microwave are perfect for families with children. However, we were disappointed that the robatayaki menu had changed since last year. The lounge was as comfortable as ever, with a wide variety of menu options. Breakfast included omelets, which made our child very happy. That said, the hot coffee tasted very strange—was there an issue? The next morning, my husband and I wondered if it would be better and tried the hot coffee again... but no luck. What happened to the coffee? In the end, we added plenty of milk to iced coffee to make a latte instead. It was delicious! If only the coffee had been good—it would have been perfect! Such a shame.

    Check this out if you're staying in the Beach House building!

    I stayed at the Beach House building for the first time for a 2-night stay. After check-in, I found an insect in the room and had to deal with it before entering, which felt like a tropical experience. The beach view and the Island building across from the room were breathtakingly oceanic. The room was clean, landscaping well-maintained, and decorations throughout added a tropical touch. However, it was disappointing that there were no staff stationed at the Beach House and that checkout required going to the Island building to drop off keys in an envelope instead of returning them at reception. If you expect luxury or exclusivity from the Beach House, you might feel underwhelmed as facilities and services are primarily centered around the Island building. Additionally, there were no towel racks on balconies for drying swimsuits; everyone seemed to hang them awkwardly on hangers outside, which affected aesthetics. The use of bar soap in bathrooms—perhaps environmentally conscious?—would be better replaced with liquid hand soap unless explained otherwise. A vending machine in the Beach House would also be appreciated. Lastly, there was no clear explanation about where to find spin dryers in this area. The hotel offers three pools—all enjoyable—and sunsets were magical. Towels were replenished frequently, and multiple lifeguards ensured safety. Night swimming until 9 PM with drinks available added fun; live music occasionally would make it even better! My child participated in stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). On windy days when boards drifted away easily due to strong winds, instructors kindly guided participants back safely—a reminder that physical strength is essential under such conditions. Breakfast was highly satisfying overall but could improve by offering roast beef options other than pork or freshly squeezed juices if possible! Rotating meat/fruit selections daily delighted multiple night stay guests like us too! Contrary to some reviews mentioning long waits during breakfast service times—we didn’t experience delays perhaps because priority seating arrangements favored those staying within specific buildings? For example: Day One seating occurred near Front Bar Area while Day Two shifted towards Serale Breakfast Venue ensuring variety between mornings spent dining atmospherically distinct settings respectively! Dinner reservations led us toward Shirakaki restaurant featuring Japanese course meals albeit smaller portions compensated visually engaging live kitchen performances enhancing culinary experiences further enhanced availability expanded children-friendly menu items catering younger diners’ preferences alike! Apart from limited smiles observed among non-Japanese female staff members encountered throughout stays here otherwise overwhelmingly positive impressions left behind ultimately recommending everyone consider visiting themselves firsthand soon enough!

    Stylish Resort Hotel

    This was our first stay. We stayed for two nights with our family of four, including a preschooler and an elementary school child. As expected from a prestigious international accommodation, the design and atmosphere of each facility were excellent. The room was simple yet stylishly designed. The staff seemed somewhat reserved, possibly due to the nature of an international hotel, which might come across as distant to some guests. However, two experienced gentlemen at the Italian restaurant were exceptionally polite and friendly, making our dining experience very pleasant. The breakfast buffet offered slight variations each day with high-quality dishes that left us satisfied. Both the Italian and steak courses at dinner were incredibly delicious as well. For lunch by the poolside, we enjoyed pasta freshly prepared in the kitchen after ordering—this too was of very high quality. The pool area had varied layouts for enjoyment, and it was relatively close to the beach as well. Overall, this is a hotel where families with young children can have a great time. One downside would be that cleaning could be improved slightly; dust on small protrusions or floor cleanliness stood out at times. There were even cobwebs on higher shelves. Despite this minor issue, it remains an excellent hotel overall!

    It was a good Hotel.

    I stayed on the hotel side. The size of the hotel was just right, and the uncrowded space was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well-organized to avoid congestion, allowing for a relaxing experience. The service provided by the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room design made it feel spacious and very comfortable to stay in. However, there were a few disappointing points: the room wear had an odor, the quality of shampoo and conditioner did not suit me, and at dinner in the restaurant, I noticed a chipped glass that I reported to staff but it was not replaced, which surprised me.

    Kids will love it!

    We stayed as a group of 3 adults and 1 child. The view from the beach house was amazing, and the child loved the pool. The Room was very lovely, and we enjoyed a relaxing moment on the terrace with coffee made from the Nespresso machine provided in the Room. Breakfast was included, offering plenty of choices, and the French toast was particularly delicious. For dinner, we dined at the same restaurant with an Italian à la carte menu, where we especially enjoyed the trofie pasta. We would love to stay here again!

    Experience the resort vibe

    As expected from Hyatt, the resort atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the sunset views were stunning! It’s a Hotel I would love to stay at again.
