    We were very satisfied with our one-night, two-day stay.

    I was surprised to find someone waiting to welcome us at the entrance when we arrived by car. We were greeted by the scent of lilies, and while waiting our turn for check-in, my husband quickly started enjoying a beer. Our Room was on the 3rd floor and felt more spacious than expected. The tatami flooring made it very comfortable. The view from the window was wonderful, and we kept it open for a while just to enjoy it. The amenities were well stocked, and we didn’t feel any inconvenience. One thing I noticed was that there was quite a large step up into the in-room toilet, which made me a little worried about tripping if I got up during the night. What stood out most was the wide variety of dishes at dinner. The boat platter we reserved was extremely fresh, and the sushi prepared right in front of us was delicious as well. I love grilled seafood, and I went back for it twice. The steak was also excellent. We couldn’t possibly try everything—of course there wasn’t any room left for late-night ramen, so I’d like to have that next time (laugh). We made our Reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and they surprised us by bringing dessert and taking photos for us—it became a truly happy memory. Breakfast was also buffet-style. In the morning, I made my own seafood rice bowl and enjoyed it very much. The freshly cooked French toast was delicious too. There were so many dishes that we couldn’t finish them all—it was a one-night stay filled with food that delighted both our eyes and taste buds. Lastly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff who always greeted us with smiles—we had a very pleasant stay at your Accommodation. We will visit again.

    The staff are wonderful!

    Not only the meals, amenities, and Facilities, but also the person who stood at the entrance holding an umbrella in the rain, the front desk staff, and everyone at the dining venue were wonderful. Thank you very much.

    A stomach-bursting experience!

    The fish was delicious! And not only that—every other dish was excellent as well. Many staff members are from Myanmar, and their attentive, detail-oriented service made our stay truly satisfying. Thank you very much. My husband just got home and is already asking when we can go again (lol).

    After contacting the...

    After contacting the Hotel in advance to let them know I use a cane, they kindly kept a parking space open near the entrance, which was very helpful. They also helped move our luggage, and it was a thoughtful Hotel overall. The meals were buffet-style; normally you’re seated wherever is available in order of arrival, but this Hotel had prepared seats close to the food. They even provided a cart for carrying dishes, which I really appreciated. There was a wide variety of menu items, and all-you-can-drink alcohol was included.\nI think it’s perfect for families and group trips. The funaburi sashimi platter presentation was also entertaining.\nOn departure, an international staff member saw us off politely—it made for a great trip.

    The silky-smooth Onsen and fresh seafood are outstanding!

    I stayed at Senri no Kaze because I wanted to enjoy seafood! From the moment I arrived, the staff provided wonderful service. In the lobby, there were drinks and snacks available, which I enjoyed on the terrace. Dinner was amazing—luxurious sashimi boat platters, sushi, grilled seafood, crab, and local specialties. Breakfast was also excellent: a DIY seafood rice bowl, delicious freshly grilled dried fish, and make-your-own freshly baked croissant waffles. And the thick, silky black-water Onsen was incredible—I loved it so much I went in three times! This was such a fantastic Accommodation that it made me want to come back again.

    I’d definitely stay here again.

    I requested the Shuttle Service from Tateyama Station, and a very gentlemanly driver picked me up. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the Hotel staff—something rare these days—and as soon as I entered the building, it smelled wonderful. In the lobby, welcome drinks were available—beer, soft drinks, and chocolate fondue—so I could relax for a while. The open-air bath in my Room was designed so it couldn’t be seen from outside, so I could soak in peace. There is also a large public bath on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view. Since it was my husband’s 60th birthday celebration, dinner included a sashimi platter with a celebratory flag and a special dessert as well. Dinner was buffet-style with both alcohol and soft drinks included. Breakfast was also buffet-style, where you can create your own “topped bowl” to your liking. Everything was delicious. All of the staff were polite and kind, which I really appreciated. Personally, I loved the clover-shaped toothbrush holder at the sink in my Room. The only disappointments were that there were no sweets at breakfast and that the shampoo didn’t quite suit my hair.

    I’ll definitely be coming back.

    We were very satisfied with the Room (1st floor with an open-air bath) and the service. We stayed as a couple, and we liked the size and layout of the Room as well as the amenities. If we may share one request, we reserved the sashimi platter course this time, but it felt a bit noisy and not very relaxing. We would love to have a dining course in a calmer atmosphere.

    I stayed in a room with an open-air bath with my elderly mother for the first time in a year. The welcome drink beer server always helps relieve the fatigue of driving. The buffet seems to get tastier every time we visit, with improved menus and ingredients. In addition to the thick, fresh sashimi platter that was almost too much to finish, this time we were impressed by the all-you-can-eat grouper carpaccio—it was incredibly delicious. We also appreciated the thoughtful arrangements for our buffet cart and seating. Interacting with the owner and chef made for an enjoyable experience, and it was a wonderful Christmas dinner. The bath was clean, well-equipped with amenities, and left nothing to be desired. A stepping stool requested during our previous stay for my elderly mother had been prepared this time as well—such attentive service is truly commendable. However, it was slightly disappointing that the indoor Onsen in the large public bath was too hot to stay in for long. If I may add one suggestion: it would be helpful if there were handrails along the slightly sloped corridor leading from rooms with open-air baths. Personally, I loved browsing through picture books available in the lobby—titles like Tatsuya Miyanishi's works or "The Friends" series and "14 Mice" series are my favorites! I hope adults will enjoy them too. This is an accommodation I look forward to visiting again!

    I will not go again.

    I chose this accommodation based on other reviews, but for the price, I didn't find it particularly delicious. The noise from the neighboring room was bothersome, and I wonder why there was such a long line for breakfast in the morning. I would like this to be addressed. There won't be a second time for me.

    That's unfortunate.

    A week before the accommodation date, I received a call. Unable to answer due to work, I called back later only to be kept waiting on the line for a while. The staff confirmed details such as "The accommodation date is approaching, are there any changes to your plans?" and "We noticed an allergy to certain fruits in your reservation; we will take care of it." It made me question whether the call was necessary. On the day of my stay, during dinner, I was served a birthday dessert plate that included the very fruit I had listed as an allergy during reservation. This raised concerns about their service quality. Additionally, while I understand that staff were busy, the lobby felt chaotic with staff rushing around and speaking quickly without composure. Considering this was a relatively high-priced plan, it left me disappointed and underwhelmed. The number of dishes and their taste were average at best; however, the quality of the onsen was excellent.

    Luxurious sashimi platter with no compromises. The buffet offers an astonishing variety, including unexpected Kue hot pot. The Onsen features jet-black water with excellent heat retention. Enjoy complimentary ice cream after the bath and unlimited beer in the lounge. End your night with a bowl of "Yonaki Soba" for a truly satisfying experience.

    It was quite good!

    What I was most looking forward to was neither the Room nor the Onsen, but the dinner and breakfast. The taste, variety, quality, and hospitality were impeccable—add free drinks to that, and it’s a perfect package. With complimentary lounge access and even late-night ramen service, it felt like an all-out effort to impress guests. The breakfast buffet offered an astonishing selection of dishes. Even if told not to come back, I would still become a repeat guest! Lastly, the fried horse mackerel at the dinner buffet was more than enough to satisfy this fried mackerel enthusiast. It deserves a spot in my top 5 fried mackerel rankings!

    Accommodation in Minamiboso

    The foreign staff were very friendly, and I was able to relax. It was my first time trying the all-you-can-drink option, and the strength of the highball was just right for me.

    The service provided by our international staff is excellent.

    The staff, many of whom are foreigners, provided excellent service. Their smiles made the experience very pleasant. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that the Facility is a bit old. For example, the toilets felt narrow and somewhat inconvenient to use. However, overall, I enjoyed the meals and had a great time.

    The staff at the live kitchen in the buffet area were too unfriendly, making it uncomfortable to approach. I didn’t notice the birthday flag on the sashimi boat at all until a staff member asked if I wanted to take it home when clearing the table. Later, at another table, a staff member who brought out a sashimi boat loudly said, "Happy Birthday! Congratulations from the bottom of our hearts! We are truly delighted as well!" This made me wonder if their attitude changes depending on the guest or if it’s because they are repeat customers. It left me feeling uneasy during dinner. Overall, there was a lack of energy in customer service (though some staff did greet us with lovely smiles), giving an inconsistent and somewhat incomplete impression of the Hotel. At other hotels, even after the welcome drink corner closes, there’s unlimited alcohol available until 10 PM in another area with plenty of drink options. That was what disappointed me most.

    I was satisfied as it lived up to its reputation.

    Overall, it met our expectations. The Room's open-air bath was spacious and clean, the meals were delicious, and the portions were more than enough to finish. The staff at the parking lot, front desk, and restaurant were all very polite and kind. The lounge with unlimited beer was also great. The only downside was that the Room felt a bit cramped for three people.

    Everything exceeded expectations.

    I checked in wondering if this accommodation, which was reasonably priced, would be good, but everything exceeded my expectations until check-out. It was truly wonderful. ○ The staff's service was very polite. ○ The room was clean, and the onsen in the room was excellent. Even though it rained, I stayed in for a long time. ○ Dinner featured yakiniku and a buffet style; everything was high quality and delicious. ○ The late-night snack service was also great. ○ At the breakfast buffet, the fresh fish "nokke-don" was incredibly tasty. My girlfriend, who usually doesn't eat much, finished it all quickly to my surprise! What impressed her most were the croissant dough waffles—she kept saying how delicious they were. If I had to point out one thing that could be improved: after checking out when we brought our car to leave from the hotel entrance area, there were no staff members present at that moment—it felt a bit unfortunate but understandable given how busy that time of day must have been. I would love to visit this accommodation again! Thank you very much!

    When asked about the purpose of our stay, we mentioned that it was for our wedding anniversary. We received kind congratulatory words, and the next morning, a commemorative fruit plate with a message was delivered to our room. Thank you very much; we truly appreciate it. The bath was pleasant, the meals were satisfying, and everything felt very relaxing and enjoyable. If possible, having a wider variety of alcoholic beverages would make it perfect. However, the view of the sea from our room was wonderful and very relaxing. With karaoke available as well, our entire family had a great time. Thank you for everything!

    I had a meaningful and enjoyable time.

    The weather was perfect on the day of our stay, allowing us to have a very meaningful and enjoyable time. The staff's hospitality was polite and pleasant, making it possible for us to enjoy our long-awaited vacation. The meal was impressive, especially the splendid sashimi platter served in a boat style. However, the seating arrangement was predetermined, and instead of a face-to-face table seat, we were seated at a counter by the window. This made it difficult to enjoy our meal while having conversations together. Although it was slightly disappointing, considering how busy it was during this season, I understand that it couldn't be helped. If possible next time, we would prefer a table seat. The buffet offered many delicious options; there were so many choices that I couldn’t decide what to pick—I wanted to try everything but found that impossible! Among them all, the crab stood out as exceptional and left me very satisfied. Regarding the large public bath hours: The closing time felt slightly inconvenient as there wasn’t enough leeway if you wanted to relax for just a bit longer. Extending the hours would be greatly appreciated. This was my first stay at your accommodation overall; I am mostly satisfied with my experience here and will consider staying again in the future.     This was my first time staying at this accommodation. I had high expectations for the sashimi platter served at dinner, but perhaps due to the season, it wasn't very tasty. The grilled seafood was delivered to our table after being cooked, which was convenient. The grilled salmon and fresh waffles at breakfast were delicious. The onsen in the large public bath (outdoor) was very relaxing, and I enjoyed the beautiful view of the starry sky. It would be great if the usage hours could be extended by about an hour. I also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a staff member who ran after us after check-out to give us candies for heatstroke prevention. I would love to stay at this hotel again when visiting this area!

    Protect your own life yourself.

    In the early hours of June 7, 2025, the fire alarm went off while I was sleeping, accompanied by an automated voice announcing "Fire." Startled awake, I checked the clock and saw it was just past 3:30 a.m. After quickly changing clothes and waiting briefly, the alarm continued without stopping. Eventually, the automated voice changed to "Please evacuate," so I decided to head outside. Taking only my valuables with me, I stepped into the hallway and realized there had been no emergency exit guidance provided during check-in. Unsure of which direction to go but seeing no smoke or fire, I descended via the central staircase to reach the front lobby. There, many other guests were gathered both in and outside of the entrance area as alarms continued blaring. It must have been about 20–30 minutes since the initial alarm sounded when I noticed that there had been no instructions or guidance from staff at all—no announcements beyond those from the automated system—and staff members were nowhere in sight. About another half-hour later, someone who appeared to be a staff member walked around telling people that it seemed like a false alarm and they could return to their rooms. Some guests asked for further explanation but were told that an announcement would be made later within the facility. However, no such announcement occurred before checkout on my departure day. This is what actually happened during my stay. It left me feeling uneasy about what might have happened if this had been a real fire or another disaster like an earthquake or tsunami. On another note: as many others have mentioned here before me—the meals were enjoyable; however, while some reviews noted insufficient cleaning in certain areas of accommodations such as baths—it felt average overall yet secondary compared against addressing safety protocols first foremost!

    It was great.

    All-inclusive with a variety of buffet options, including a boat platter at night, was impressive. The Room was clean, but I was surprised that it only had a shower booth. I visited on a humid day, and the interior of the facility felt hot, which was slightly inconvenient.

    It was incredibly relaxing!

    I stayed at the accommodation after participating in the Tateyama Triathlon Race. Upon arrival, two staff members noticed that I had participated in the triathlon and kindly said, "Great job!" I was surprised by their attentiveness. It seemed there was another group staying as well, but I was impressed by the staff's keen observation skills and their efficient information-sharing system. During dinner at the buffet, I was touched to receive a surprise dessert plate with a message saying "Great job!" It was such a delightful gesture! The room we stayed in was slightly luxurious as it included a private open-air onsen bath to celebrate my 60th birthday. The room's design was beautiful, and high-quality items like bedding and hairdryers were used, which made our stay very satisfying. The private open-air onsen bath had plenty of space and featured the same type of onsen water as the large public bath, which added to our satisfaction. There were many foreign staff members as well, but everyone provided excellent service, reflecting thorough hospitality training. Overall, it was an incredibly satisfying accommodation experience. I would love to stay here again! Thank you very much!

    The staff at the Hot...

    The staff at the Hotel provided excellent service. Most of them were foreigners, but they seemed well-trained, spoke Japanese fluently, and were very accommodating. The Facility felt a bit outdated. The slippers were worn out, and the samue and yukata also seemed old. As for the meals, the sashimi boat and grilled seafood were great, but the buffet had limited options. It felt like I wouldn't consider staying here a second time.

    I was deeply moved by the hospitality of the foreign staff.

    Meals are not entirely buffet-style; you’ll be served a small appetizer upon being seated, followed by drinks and then the buffet. The beautifully presented sashimi platter is also served to your table, adding a nice touch. What stood out the most was the heartfelt hospitality from the staff, including foreign team members at the front desk and restaurant. Their warm and thoughtful communication was truly comforting. While there were minor points like needing caution in the dark-colored bathwater where visibility is low or wishing for a cold plunge pool, these details pale in comparison to the overall experience. The handmade Mont Blanc dessert was exceptional, and having massages available after bathing was an added delight. Overall, everything was forgiven thanks to their outstanding hospitality—truly grateful from the heart!

    An accommodation you'll want to recommend to others.

    It was an accommodation that truly made us glad we stayed. We stayed in a room with an open-air bath, and everything about the room's interior, the open-air bath, and the amenities was absolutely perfect. The meals had a wide variety of options and were incredibly delicious. Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding. The hospitality was excellent, and we had a very pleasant experience from check-in to check-out. At the end, when we were leaving (long after the official check-out time), our daughter became emotional seeing other guests leave and said "Everyone is gone" while crying in the lobby. A staff member noticed this and kindly called other staff members to come over. They all saw us off together, which allowed us to leave with smiles on our faces. Our daughter even said before going to bed, "Let's go again," showing how completely satisfied we were with this accommodation full of exceptional hospitality.

    It was a memorable birthday trip!

    I came to Chiba for a birthday trip, and when checking into the Hotel, the staff noticed that my birthday was near. They wrote a birthday message on the sashimi boat served during the buffet! They also gave me a dessert with a message plate. I was truly delighted!
