    Other than check-in assistance...

    I’d been interested in this Hotel for a while and was looking forward to my stay. It was my first time staying here, but at check-in there was no explanation at all about breakfast or the Hotel, which really surprised me. The male staff member processed the payment matter-of-factly and didn’t seem very friendly. I’ve stayed at many Hotels, but this was the first time I experienced service like this. The Hotel itself was great—the Room felt very clean, and the amenities were good—but the staff’s response was very disappointing. I think they should improve their training a bit more.

    We enjoyed a relaxing stay with a little extra sense of something special.

    The moderately American-style Room decor feels thoughtfully different from a typical Business Hotel. It was a new, clean Room. I was surprised that the bath and toilet were clearly separated. (The bathtub and shower felt like something you’d have at home.) The lighting in the Room is well designed, there are plenty of outlets, and it’s highly functional—overall, the hospitality far exceeded expectations for this price. Breakfast was also very satisfying in quality, and the other guests gave an elegant impression. There were a couple of moments when I noticed the soundproofing, but it was quiet at night.

    I enjoyed my previous stay, so

    Because my previous stay was very good, I stayed here again. As before, there are various shops nearby and the parking lot is close by, which is very convenient. The Room was quiet, and I was able to relax and spend time comfortably. I would like to stay here again when I visit Shiga.

    Just a one-minute walk from Kusatsu Station.

    My first trip to Shiga—choosing this Hotel with “easy and hassle-free” as the priority was absolutely the right decision! The Room was spacious, the view bath was comfortable, and I wasn’t bothered by train noise. Breakfast had a great variety of Shiga specialties, and I really enjoyed it. One small thing I noticed was that no staff spoke to me even once in the lobby or inside the Hotel. I stayed two nights, but aside from the breakfast venue staff and housekeeping, everyone else just passed by. It was probably just by chance. The front desk service and phone support were excellent. So I’ll be back!

    This was a Plan that...

    This was a Plan that included an Omi beef steak course. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was delicious and easy to enjoy. We added the 2,500 yen free-flow option, which offered a wide variety including organic wines, and the staff promptly asked about our next drink whenever our glasses were close to empty—so we ended up drinking a bit too much (lol). The location is so convenient it’s practically directly connected to the station, the Room was clean, and even with great meals included, the price felt very reasonable. If I have a chance to stop by Kusatsu again, I’d definitely like to return. Thank you very much.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed for one night to sightsee in Shiga. The location was great right in front of the station, and the Room was clean. I also appreciated that the toilet and bath were separate. The complimentary water and snacks in the refrigerator were a nice touch. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and I especially liked the curry and mixed juice. It was very convenient for sightseeing around Lake Biwa, and it made for an excellent trip.

    Close to the station, and the Room is comfortable.

    Conveniently located in front of the Kusatsu Station rotary, making it easy to get around and shop. As the name suggests, the interior has an American-style atmosphere. There are restaurants and takeout options so you can dine in your Room, and there is also a convenience store. The Room is spacious, with separate bath and toilet; the bathroom also has a washing area, making it comfortable. The refrigerator includes complimentary drinks and snacks. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety, and the taste is decent. I would like to stay here again when visiting this area.

    A lovely Hotel near the station

    This Hotel is so close to the station that you can hear platform announcements and train noise from the station-side Room, but it wasn’t bothersome with the windows closed. The bathroom was clean, with a large showerhead, and I appreciated that the toilet light was motion-sensor activated. During our Multiple Night Stay, they kindly replaced bath towels and sheets, and even replenished complimentary snacks, bottled water, and bath salts. There is a LAWSON on the first floor, which was very convenient. The only minor issues were that the Room felt warm so I opened the window slightly to let in fresh air, and I noticed dust on the ventilation filter above the door; overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

    It was very good.

    Conveniently located near the station, with a variety of shops nearby. It was a great location. Having a convenience store on the first floor was also very helpful. The parking lot was close by as well, which was great. The Room was spacious and very clean, making it comfortable to stay in. I requested a humidifier in the Room when making my Reservation, and it had been properly set up. It produced plenty of mist, so I didn’t feel any dryness and it was excellent. The staff were also very helpful, and it was a pleasant stay.

    I stayed here as I had plans in Kyoto and wanted to explore Shiga the next day. The accommodation is conveniently located just a short walk from the west exit of Kusatsu Station. The double room had a large desk, making it easy to work on my computer with documents spread out. The refrigerator was stocked with water and tea, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was by the window, allowing me to enjoy the view while taking a bath, which was very relaxing. The room side of the bathroom is see-through, so you can watch TV while bathing (speakers are available for rent at the front desk). Note that skincare products are not provided as amenities, so it's recommended to bring your own if needed. For meals, I chose a plan that included dinner and breakfast. As I enjoy wine, I appreciated being able to select an all-you-can-drink plan even for one person. There were many drink options available, and the food was delicious as well. On the previous day, I stayed in another room through an EX Shinkansen & Accommodation package deal but appreciated that they moved my luggage for me when switching rooms. Although only single rooms were available through EX packages, they also featured separate bath and toilet areas for convenience and had larger beds that made for a comfortable stay.

    Relax your mind and body.

    It is rare to find a Hotel where you can relax by taking a bath while watching a movie or listening to music. I had a precious time here. It feels more relaxing than the large public bath.

    Watch TV dramas while enjoying a bath.

    I skipped breakfast due to an all-night work schedule, but I was very satisfied with the lunch I had at the first-floor restaurant after checkout. At night, I discovered that the TV could be seen through the glass and even heard while bathing—if only I had known earlier, I would have enjoyed a relaxing bath time that made me forget about work. Looking forward to staying again next time!

    A Hotel Worth More Than Its Price

    12,000 yen per night with breakfast is excellent value for money. The Room was clean, and the bath was also well-maintained. I would love to stay again.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    Thank you very much. The Boston-style interior is excellent, and the "view bath" in the Room on a high floor allowed us to enjoy the night view of Kusatsu Station while feeling like we were in an open-air bath.

    Well-maintained and comfortable Hotel

    The Hotel was conveniently located near the station and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The bath with a washing area allowed for a relaxing experience, making it very pleasant. The highly-rated breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and seemed to be carefully prepared without relying on commercial products. However, it was slightly disappointing that the taste did not quite match our preferences as a couple. Other than that, it was an excellent value-for-money Hotel with high satisfaction overall.

    It was wonderful.

    This was my second stay. The meals are incredibly delicious, so I stayed for one night on my way back from a trip to Kyoto. The room had been renovated, making it even more comfortable than the last time. Since it is located in front of Kusatsu Station, there are many restaurants around the hotel, but I highly recommend the hotel's restaurant. It’s no exaggeration to say that we stay here mainly for the food. I look forward to staying again. Thank you very much!

    Unfortunately, there was no duvet cover (upper sheet) provided.

    The room was renovated, clean, and thoughtfully designed for convenience. The service was pleasant, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Its proximity to the station and having a convenience store downstairs made it incredibly convenient. However, there was one major issue for me... The duvet did not have a cover; instead, there was an upper sheet tucked under it with the top folded over towards the duvet side. This made me uncomfortable as the sheet would easily shift, causing direct contact with the duvet that others had used before. I couldn't relax because of this as I am particularly sensitive about such things. The exposed duvet felt unhygienic considering its shared use by many guests. While I can overlook this at very budget accommodations or ryokans, it felt disappointing given how excellent everything else was at this hotel. I understand that using duvet covers may significantly increase bed-making time and cleaning costs. However, since I would love to stay at this hotel again in the future, I hope they could consider offering rooms with clean duvet covers as an option. Thank you for understanding my feedback!

    We stayed as a coupl...

    We stayed as a couple for sightseeing and were very satisfied with the reasonable price and quality. The Room was spacious, bright, and functional. The dinner (Japanese cuisine) was incredibly delicious, and the breakfast was also fulfilling. Although it is close to the station, it was quiet and relaxing. The restaurant staff were kind as well. If there were a large public bath, it would be a great place to gather with our children’s families who have small grandchildren.

    Best value for money!

    Enjoyed a plan with two meals included on sale. The price was as affordable as a No Meals Included stay at a Business Hotel, yet the spacious Room with separate bath and toilet felt like an incredible deal. Both dinner and breakfast exceeded expectations in quality. The meals, especially, were elaborate with a homemade touch, tasted amazing, and left us completely satisfied.

    Conveniently located next to Kusatsu Station. The Hotel offers a wide range of amenities, including complimentary tea, bottled water, and two types of snacks in the refrigerator. The spacious bath allows you to relax and unwind. On the first floor, you'll find the back entrance of a convenience store right in front of the elevator, making it easy to shop and head straight back to your Room. The restaurant on the first floor has a bright American traditional atmosphere with cozy tables in the back for a more relaxed setting. Breakfast is abundant with various local dishes, bread, green tea soba noodles, curry, and even desserts. A perfect Hotel for a relaxing 2-3 night stay!

    It was a user-friendly Hotel.

    I stayed here while walking along the Tokaido, from Tsuchiyama Accommodation in Shiga Prefecture to Kyoto. The service from the front desk and staff was excellent. Although it was slightly disappointing that there was no variation in the menu during my multiple night stay, the quality of the breakfast buffet was more than sufficient. The convenience of using Kusatsu Station West Exit parking and its direct connection to the station made my stay very comfortable. I would definitely like to use this hotel again if I have the chance.

    The washing area and the bathtub are separate, making it very convenient to use. However, it would be even better if bath chairs and buckets were provided. Offering them for rent upon request could also be a good option.

    A stable and comfortable stay.

    Our family of four stayed in two twin rooms for a multiple night stay of three nights. Although we had made separate reservations for each night due to certain circumstances, we requested to stay in the same rooms for all three days. Despite checking in after 9 PM on the first day, the staff kindly accommodated our request and arranged two adjacent rooms with separate bath and toilet facilities that had been recently renovated. Every morning, we placed a cleaning request plate on the door before heading out, and each day our rooms were cleaned thoroughly. Thanks to this excellent service, we enjoyed a very comfortable four-day stay. Thank you so much!

    The room has great taste.

    Always a satisfying Hotel. The Room design is excellent, and this time I stayed in a twin Room. The beds are arranged like a king-size bed, making it convenient for one or two people to use. Although there is no large public bath or Onsen, the bathroom is separate from the toilet, providing spacious and hygienic use. Having a separate sink area is especially appreciated by women, and the colors and interior design were lovely as well. I will definitely stay here again!

    Very satisfied.

    I had business in Kyoto, but the accommodations were too expensive, so I decided to make a reservation at this hotel. First of all, it's very convenient being close to the station. The room was clean, and I appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks. The breakfast was also very delicious, with soft serve ice cream and zenzai available in the morning (especially since I have a sweet tooth), which lifted my spirits. If I have another opportunity, I would definitely like to use it again. Thank you very much.

    Favorite Hotel

    I have used it several times. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a spacious entrance, and on the second-floor lobby, the sound of a white piano playing fills the air. In the hallway, paintings and photographs that evoke America from an era full of old power are displayed, and a life-sized President Kennedy welcomes you. The Room is also spacious and tastefully decorated, with delightful drinks and snacks provided. During the COVID period, breakfast was a bit lonely, but this time I enjoyed plenty of it. The Property is close to the station with reasonable accommodation fees; it's conveniently located for visiting both Shiga and Kyoto, so I would like to use it again.
