    It was very comfortable!

    The Room was spacious, and although it was on the first floor, the view was great. It was very comfortable with two toilets, two bathrooms, two refrigerators, and two sinks. Water, sanpin tea, and ice were provided in the refrigerator and replenished daily when we ran low, which was excellent. All of the staff (both Japanese and non-Japanese) were very pleasant as well. One thing: I would really like to see improvements to the lounge, as its hours are short (only until 6:00 PM) and the food menu is limited. If it stayed open until around 8:00 PM and offered some hot food, I think satisfaction would be even higher. I will definitely stay again!

    Repeat Done

    I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this very lovely Hotel, making me regret staying for only one night. I prepared both dinner and breakfast in the Room's kitchen, so I did not dine within the Hotel, but the sata andagi in the lounge were absolutely delicious. As others have mentioned, I initially did not notice there was a microwave and assumed there wasn’t one. It would also be helpful if kitchen paper could be provided. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and hope to stay longer next year. Additionally, I look forward to seeing the new furniture updates you mentioned!

    This trip to Ishigak...

    This trip to Ishigaki was a solo journey without a car, so I was looking for an accommodation where I could relax quietly and leisurely. I chose this hotel for its townhouse-like exterior reminiscent of America and its convenient access from the airport. It’s about 15 minutes from the airport, and it cost 1,200 yen by taxi. The exterior truly resembles a Hawaiian townhouse, which immediately lifted my spirits upon arrival. The beautifully maintained garden is surrounded by tropical plants, making it ideal for those who dislike noisy environments or wish to stay with a sense of living there. Each room has its own gate at the entrance, creating excitement as soon as you open the door. When I opened the living room door, I couldn’t help but gasp at the stunning ocean view that spread out before me. The interior seemed newly renovated and was very clean; plus, I didn’t hear any noise or voices from neighboring rooms—a major highlight for me. Since there’s nothing much around without a car, I opted for breakfast included in my stay. Breakfast allowed you to choose one main dish from four options while salads, bread, and drinks were free-flow style. However, since the free salad and bread were the same every day during my stay, some variety would have been nice. If staying mainly within the hotel premises is your plan like mine was this time around—it would be great if lunch or dinner options inside could offer more variety too! Amenities provided were by LaGaia from Australia—so good that they improved both hair & skin conditions during my stay; honestly wished these items were available on sale! Due to unfavorable weather conditions causing island tours' cancellation—I mentioned considering canoeing along Miyara River instead when chatting casually w/ staff members—they kindly informed me about availability right starting directly off their garden area itself! Thanks entirely due-to-this helpful tip shared last-minute arrangements worked-out perfectly allowing participation same-day itself exploring mangroves peacefully via canoe felt incredibly soothing overall experience-wise! From front desk personnel through restaurant team alongside gardening/cleaning crew alike everyone encountered exchanged warm greetings consistently reflecting exceptional hospitality standards throughout entire duration spent here ensuring utmost comfortability levels achieved altogether seamlessly altogether leaving lasting positive impression genuinely appreciated wholeheartedly already looking forward returning someday soon hopefully again eventually someday future ahead assuredly undoubtedly!!

    Three Days of Summer Again

    Amazing place! Ocean view from the room, with vibrant bougainvillea flowers on the right. The spacious room comes with a kitchen, so we enjoyed shopping in the city and cooking multiple times. Ishigaki Island also offers delicious bread. Waking up to the beautiful ocean through large windows is simply breathtaking. The bathroom is spacious and adds to the relaxing experience. This has become my favorite spot in Okinawa Prefecture. While it's nice that they leave you alone, the room cleaning is thorough. Three days flew by quickly, and before leaving, I made an 8-night reservation for April. A Bluetooth speaker would be a great addition though! A wonderful room with stunning views!

    A Serene and Exceptional Resort

    My husband and I stayed for the first time for two nights. The well-maintained garden with tropical plants and numerous flowers, along with the view of a quiet sea and a stunning sunset, is unforgettable. The staff were all very welcoming with warm smiles, making us feel at ease. It seemed that everyone, including families, was enjoying their time happily. Originally, we planned to stay at a large famous hotel, but choosing this spacious and serene resort-like accommodation turned out to be the perfect decision. (Just one request: please consider installing a microwave in the room.) We definitely hope to visit again!

    Spacious! So spacious! I felt like I wanted to live here!

    This HOTEL was a place I had passed by many times before or visited the outer garden for marine activities, but I had excluded it as an accommodation option because the exterior looked old. When I unknowingly made an online reservation and arrived, I was surprised to realize it was this place. The room was either beautifully renovated or well-maintained, as it was sparkling clean and felt like new. The entrance and hallways were long and spacious, with two sinks in the bathroom area, a large bathtub space, a wide kitchen, comfortable sofas, and excellent beds. Although we stayed only one night, it felt like a home (room) where we could live forever. Unfortunately, due to bad weather with heavy rain lasting two days like squalls, we couldn’t go outside or use the pool or jacuzzi; however, we were able to relax in the amazing room. We thought we couldn’t use the club lounge plan but were informed about it during check-in; although it was just 20 minutes of access time there, we enjoyed Orion beer and snacks thoroughly. In our room’s large refrigerator were 2 liters of jasmine tea (sanpin-cha), natural water bottles along with two bags of ice already provided—this overlapped what we'd bought from supermarkets unnecessarily! We purchased groceries at nearby stores enjoying drinks inside comfortably within our accommodation itself afterward! Basic seasonings such as salt-pepper-oil-soy sauce could be borrowed while frying pans/plates/cooking utensils etc., everything necessary seemed available too! However missing items included dishcloths/paper napkins/kitchen towels which led us using tissues & bath-towels instead inconveniently during meal-preparations hence suggesting adding hand-towels/paper-napkin provisions would make things perfect overall hereon forward perhaps? Regarding amenities: facial skincare products/bath salts inclusion might enhance experiences further likewise towel quantities appeared limited comparatively given high-class standards expected ideally extra sets placed separately near kitchens/washrooms beneficially improving convenience levels avoiding shared damp usage situations between companions otherwise encountered presently noted therein observations shared constructively hoping improvements implemented accordingly future stays ahead positively envisioned altogether sincerely appreciated efforts extended meanwhile genuinely grateful heartfelt thanks expressed warmly concluding remarks reiterated fond memories cherished always remembered fondly looking forward revisiting Ishigaki Island soonest possible opportunity arises     Spacious and perfect for families with babies.

    Stayed for 3 nights in a second-floor room. The ocean view was breathtaking. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 toilets, 2 kitchens, and 2 bathrooms. Parking is conveniently located directly below the room, making luggage transfer effortless. This hotel is perfect for trips with two families. While the building isn’t new, it has a solid structure with high ceilings and excellent soundproofing. A Panasonic fully automatic washer-dryer was provided, which was very convenient for traveling with a baby. They also offered many baby-friendly items such as a high-low chair, dining chair, bed guard, baby soap, baby crib, and warming pad on loan. The large kitchen made it easy to prepare baby food. We opted for shabu-shabu dinner as an add-on option; however, the pre-prepared ingredients stored in the refrigerator were somewhat dry and unappealing—buying fresh ingredients or dining out might be better alternatives. The accommodation is very close to the airport but slightly distant from downtown areas. There’s only one simple restaurant within the facility; thus driving about 20 minutes by rental car or taking a taxi is necessary for meals. With fewer guests around during our stay, this hotel is ideal for those seeking privacy and relaxation without encountering other visitors often.     It seems there was a management transition, but I was satisfied.

    It seems the operation was transitioning, so it wasn't in the "best condition," but the staff were very accommodating. The Room is equipped with a laundry machine, which is convenient. The Room is spacious, and the resort-like atmosphere of the entire Facility is great. Dinner was served in-room, but for dishes like BBQ, the entire Room (including floors) can get greasy, so this could be improved. As mentioned earlier, since it's during an operational transition period, things seem to be changing daily.

    Expectations were high at PDS Hotel, but it was a bit disappointing.

    I stayed for two nights this time. The hotel name at the time of reservation and the hotel name in the "Your Stay is Approaching" email were different, so I looked into it and found out that it was part of the same PDS HOTELS group as my favorite Southwest Grand Hotel in Naha! My expectations skyrocketed. After renting a car at Ishigaki Airport, I arrived at the hotel using GPS navigation. At the front building, I parked behind another car where staff were assisting guests. I waited for someone to approach me but they went inside without even glancing my way. Thinking someone would eventually come out, I waited but no one did, so I got out of the car and headed to reception myself. Even after entering through the door, none of the staff seemed to notice me until I called out from across the counter when they finally assisted me. However, perhaps due to being busy, they asked me to sit on a sofa away from the counter before proceeding with check-in after some delay. Once attended to, their service was standard. I received a 2,000 yen coupon as an IKYU benefit; however, its usability was very limited (as there wasn’t much of a shop available and it could only be used for meals), which could use some reconsideration. The room was spacious with a resort-like villa atmosphere—absolutely fantastic! The bathroom had not only a bathtub and washing area but also an additional shower room that felt almost excessive in size. Since there was also a kitchen included in our room setup, we initially planned on enjoying local cuisine downtown but ended up buying groceries instead and cooking ourselves. The next morning during breakfast service: after being seated by staff members and placing orders beyond just buffet items—I left my seat briefly to get food from said buffet—only upon returning did we find other guests had been seated at our table! Thankfully another attentive staff member noticed this mistake promptly relocating us elsewhere. One thing that stood out both during check-in interactions or breakfast moments alike—the lackluster smiles among certain team members struck odd compared against what’s expected within hospitality norms (though admittedly subjective).     It was excellent.

    We stayed here for a girls' trip. The space was incredibly spacious and open, with high ceilings—almost too luxurious for just two people. The kitchen allowed us to prepare breakfast with ingredients from the supermarket, while we dined out for lunch and dinner. Taxis could be arranged within about 10 minutes upon request, and reservations were also possible. The gym was clean and excellent, and the pool offered great views and was almost exclusively ours to enjoy. We were able to create unforgettable memories here—thank you so much!

    Wonderful Hotel

    Choosing this Hotel made for the best trip ever. Recently, even at famous facilities costing over 100,000 yen per night, you often find eco-labeled but flimsy toilet paper, minimal amenities aimed at cost-saving, and price tags all around the fridge. Artificially arranged nature that feels unnatural. Many facilities feel overly commercialized and fail to provide true relaxation. However, this stay was truly exceptional. Highlights: - Spacious rooms with only 33 rooms in total, ensuring no sense of overcrowding - Ground floor rooms allow direct access to the pool or sea (river) from the patio for ultimate convenience - Parking right in front of your Room makes it easy to access without encountering others after returning from the beach - Clean and luxurious interior design with user-friendly features throughout - 2-liter bottles of jasmine tea and water as well as ice provided in-room—perfect for groups - Breakfast offers a wide variety; while it takes some time to prepare, each dish is freshly made with care and tastes deliciously warm and comforting - Staff are natural yet polite—creating a relaxing atmosphere without any stress or discomfort - Nature and architecture are presented naturally rather than artificially staged - No price tags visible anywhere inside the Room This Facility was perfectly prepared in every way for an incredibly comfortable stay. If I had to mention one minor issue: there was a washing machine listed as available so we packed fewer clothes; however, likely due to frequent use with sand exposure by other guests, even after cleaning its filter thoroughly, the dryer function didn’t work well. (There were outdoor drying racks available along with what seemed like laundry services offered onsite though—so this won’t be an issue next time.) Everyone who stayed together agreed—we want to come back again! Thank you for such a wonderful stay and unforgettable memories here!

    Thank you for the wonderful time.

    This was our first stay, and we stayed for 4 nights with a family of 7. Despite being a large group, the rooms at this hotel were spacious, with two bathrooms, kitchens, and toilets each, making it very comfortable for two families to stay without worrying about each other. The children were thrilled as soon as they entered the room with its high ceilings and spacious layout—they couldn't stop running around in excitement. The washing machine with a drying function and the bathroom's drying feature were truly excellent; it was incredibly helpful to be able to take care of laundry every day during our trip. One of our children fell ill during the stay, but we received such kind support from the staff that we are deeply grateful. We had meals in the room during our stay; everything was well-equipped and comfortable. Plenty of towels were provided, along with refills of tea and water—it made for an extremely pleasant experience. Access to the pool was great too! The kids enjoyed heading to the pool every day while looking out at the ocean from the balcony. The view connecting Miyara River to the sea was stunning as well—on walks we saw many crabs and hermit crabs, which became a wonderful experience for them. I heard that this hotel has recently changed under PDS management—I wasn’t aware when making my reservation but am excited about how things will evolve moving forward! Being able to enjoy Basque cheesecake like I’ve had before at Kobe’s Oriental Hotel is also a nice touch. If I may suggest one thing for future improvement: given your excellent location surrounded by many tour companies nearby, offering introductions or recommendations for activities like kayaking could meet demand effectively. We had such an amazing time staying here that we’ll definitely return when visiting Ishigaki Island again. Thank you so much!!

    The Best Hotel!!!

    We stayed for 2 nights on May 30th and 31st as a family of four adults. The entrance, living room, and terrace were spacious, and there were two bedrooms, bathrooms, and toilets, all very clean. The living room offered an incredible ocean view during high tide, making our stay extremely comfortable. After researching many other hotels on YouTube, we are so glad we chose this Hotel. The breakfast had four options to choose from and was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly kind and even accommodated my son's allergy with great care. We've already decided to return to this Hotel next year! Highly recommended!!!

    Suitable for those who enjoy cooking or families with many members.

    The hotel name has been changed, but the old name is still displayed. This should at least be updated. I was confused. Very spacious. Free ice in the refrigerator is a great feature. The 2-liter tea is also nice. The Room stays well-cooled. There’s almost nothing you can buy with the 2000 yen for Diamond members; at least some snacks would be appreciated. I used it for lunch and had steak—it was delicious! It seems suitable for long-term stays, offering a relaxing experience. I didn’t use the pool, but having direct access to it from the living area is excellent. Being able to park right in front of the Room is also convenient. Looking forward to improvements in the future!

    Stayed 5 nights in a one-bedroom without meals.

    A condominium-style Hotel near Shiraho Beach with clean and spacious Rooms, separate bath and toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen was the reason for our choice. The Room was spacious, clean, quiet at night, and very comfortable. Since it was a no-meal Plan, the well-equipped kitchen was extremely convenient. My wife even said she wanted to stay for about a month! There was a carport near the Room which was very convenient; being covered kept the car cool and made driving comfortable. The room service provided frozen jasmine tea which was incredibly useful during our hot Ishigaki Island drives. A drum-type washing machine with detergent provided allowed us to do laundry several times during our stay. Since we had lots of luggage, staff kindly helped us check the weight of our airline baggage (within 20kg) using their scale—it really helped! At the airport scale, it showed 20kg or 20.02kg—thank you so much for your assistance! We plan to stay longer next time and will definitely return again!

    Fully satisfied with the condominium-style Hotel.

    This was our second visit to Ishigaki Island. The first time, we stayed at a Hotel with our children as a family of four, but this time it was a trip for just the two of us as a couple celebrating my 60th birthday. We chose a condominium-style Hotel with a kitchen and washing machine for our 3-night stay, aiming to relax while enjoying the ocean view. The experience exceeded our expectations. The view from the Room featured tropical plants, the sea, and the sky. The air carried the sweet scent of flowers, which was delightful. For meals, we kept it simple: breakfast at the Hotel restaurant, lunch out at local eateries, and dinner prepared in our Room using ingredients bought from local supermarkets. This style suited us perfectly as an older couple seeking comfort and ease. We enjoyed leisurely walks by stepping out directly from our Room's balcony area to admire the ocean views. It was fascinating to see how the scenery changed with the tides in both morning and afternoon—it left a lasting impression on us. The staff were warm and made us feel secure throughout our stay. When we sought advice about visiting Kohama Island for a day trip, they provided detailed guidance that helped create wonderful memories there as well. Having parking available right in front of our Room’s entrance was incredibly convenient too. This is definitely a Hotel we'd love to visit again someday—thank you so much! P.S.: We had breakfast at the restaurant each morning. The Danish bread infused with miso left such an impression—it was rich in flavor and absolutely delicious!

    We stayed for two ni...

    We stayed for two nights as a family. While there are no shops nearby, it was not an issue at all as long as you prepare in advance. The location is truly quiet at night, and we were very satisfied with the excellent facility and amenities. However, what stood out even more was the warm greetings and wonderful smiles of all the staff during our stay. From those maintaining the garden and facilities early in the morning to those who cleaned our room, everyone’s dedication made our stay incredibly comfortable. One small suggestion would be to add a bit more volume to the fish served in the Japanese breakfast option. That said, when we visit Ishigaki Island again, my entire family agrees that we’d love to stay longer at this hotel instead of just two nights! As mentioned in other reviews, we were also amazed by how spacious the room was (laughs). Thank you for making our memorable stay so special with your wonderful smiles!

    It was recommended on IKYU, but it was disappointing.

    The room and bath were spacious and nice. However, that was about the only positive aspect. The breakfast had the same menu every day, and the quantity and quality did not match the accommodation cost. The amenities were basic items you could find at a drugstore, which was very disappointing. The car rental service had been discontinued months ago, which I wish I had known before booking; otherwise, I wouldn't have chosen this accommodation. At the breakfast area, staff were chatting constantly, and it was uncomfortably cold due to excessive air conditioning. The reception staff's attitude was also underwhelming. Considering the high accommodation cost, it was disappointing overall. I do not recommend staying here.

    Relaxing Moments

    The guest rooms are beautifully designed, providing an elegant and comfortable stay. The Hotel's pool and greenery offered a relaxing and peaceful time. With a fully equipped kitchen and washer-dryer, it is ideal for self-catering and long-term stays. This time, I stayed for 3 nights with breakfast included. While you can choose between Western or Japanese-style breakfast, the menu was the same every morning, without options like pineapple or yogurt. I had both breakfast and dinner during my stay, but the meals were slightly disappointing. The shop also had very limited items available. It would be great if improvements could be made to the meals and shop offerings. Even considering that, it was a wonderful experience at this lovely Hotel. Thank you very much!

    Wonderful!

    Thank you for the wonderful experience. Everything was perfect, both in terms of service and facilities. Later, I discovered that the establishment is managed by the same group as one of my favorite restaurants in Kyoto, which made perfect sense. I would love to visit again!

    Surprisingly spacious

    The hardware aspects were very satisfying. Cooking in the kitchen and taking a bath were both enjoyable! The appliances came with manuals, so we had no trouble using them. The Room was spacious, with two bathrooms and two toilets, allowing our family to stay comfortably without worrying about each other. If I may add a wish, it would have been nice if the TV in the bedroom was internet-enabled. We couldn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms at all—the hardware aspects were excellent! However, there was an issue during check-in that left us disappointed. While we appreciated the room upgrade as an apology for making us wait, this wasn't really about that—it felt unsafe in various ways. Additionally, we were shocked when someone from the neighboring Room flew a drone for filming purposes. When my companion contacted the front desk about it, they casually responded with something like "Oh yes, they're filming next door," which left us speechless. If such activities are known beforehand, shouldn't there be some prior notice? Having a drone suddenly flying outside our Room is not pleasant and doesn't allow for relaxation—in fact, it's outright bothersome. We also question why such actions are permitted at all. There were several disappointing aspects on the service side (software). That said, since the hardware is excellent overall, I would still consider staying again in hopes of improvements being made!

    Everything was taken care of.

    This was my third (or maybe fourth) trip to Ishigaki Island. I usually stay at a Hotel with a club lounge, but after enjoying local Ishigaki food in lounges and restaurants, I wanted to try cooking it myself, so I chose this place. It was absolutely the right choice. We rented a car for shopping, and it was very helpful that seasonings were available to borrow. All the cooking utensils and consumable items were properly provided. There was also an oven, and the pots and pans were good quality, so we could cook and enjoy Ishigaki ingredients for three days without any stress. Since we could use the car anytime, we were also able to go out here and there easily. Just as other Reviews said, all the staff were very pleasant. Next month we’ll be staying at our usual Hotel again, but next season I’d love to come back here and cook with Ishigaki vegetables. Thank you very much.

    A resort hotel facin...

    A resort hotel facing Miyara Bay in Ishigaki. Perhaps because it was the off-season in February, I was able to stay for just over 20,000 yen with breakfast included. The room is extremely spacious, with each room being over 100 square meters and having two bedrooms and two bathrooms each. With a fully equipped kitchen, it's perfect for a large group on a multiple night stay. The balcony offers an ocean view with an outstanding view. There is also a washing machine. The pool was closed due to the winter season, but since it faces the sea, it might have an infinity-like feel in summer. Although not very large, there are shallow zones so it's safe for families with children. Breakfast is at the back of the first-floor lobby. The menu only includes Eggs Benedict, which might be a bit disappointing. Additionally, there is almost nothing within walking distance around here, so a car or taxi is essential. Overall, the interior of the hotel was very clean and provided an extremely comfortable stay.

    Very nice Hotel

    We stayed with my mother-in-law, wife, and one child (3 years old) to celebrate my mother-in-law's retirement. The room was very spacious, and the child was extremely excited while my mother-in-law was taken aback. The room was so good that even when we went sightseeing, the child wanted to return to the hotel, which affected our sightseeing plans. It was a perfect hotel for spending time with two generations—mother-in-law and grandchild—as we could play tag and hide-and-seek. There was also a free Shuttle Service available, and they arranged cakes and rental cars for us; it was truly accommodating. It would have been even better if smoking on the balcony were allowed, but that's just my personal opinion; it's a recommended hotel for non-smokers on family trips. We received a 2000 yen restaurant coupon as an IKYU Diamond benefit but unfortunately didn't have time to use it; it’s quite regrettable because once back at the Hotel Room, you forget about the 2000 yen coupon due to how nice it is. All of the staff were kind and very approachable.

    The best hospitality.

    Since it is not a large Hotel, the staff paid attention to details and provided attentive service. We were able to enjoy a relaxed time that cannot be experienced in a large Hotel, and it was very comfortable. The meals skillfully incorporated local ingredients and were very delicious. It is a Hotel I would like to visit again. Thank you very much.
