    Your First Time in Takamatsu

    I stayed here and had a wonderful experience. It’s close to the station and right in the heart of a lively area, so the location was excellent. The atmosphere inside the hotel, as well as the Room size and layout, were all more than satisfactory, and I was able to relax comfortably. I was also surprised that it was all-inclusive at this price point. I visited the lounge for cocktail time and breakfast, and I was very satisfied with what was offered. If I have the chance, I would love to stay again.

    The lounge’s bar hours are great.

    After check-in, we enjoyed bar time in the lounge from early evening until 7:30 PM, with unlimited sparkling wine and soft drinks. We had an early dinner and relaxed there for about an hour. There were also light snacks, and the lounge had an upscale atmosphere, which made it feel like a great bonus. The location was very convenient—about a 5-minute walk from Kawaramachi Station—and it was also about a 10-minute walk to Ikkaku Takamatsu, famous for bone-in chicken. Overall, everything was highly convenient.

    As always, The Royal Park is a reliable choice.

    The Facility feels somewhat dated overall, but the quality of service (some differences from the flagship are understandable) was still very much what you’d expect from The Royal Park. This time, the key highlight was access to the club lounge. We used it for both tea time and cocktail time and were able to enjoy a refined, relaxing experience. We will definitely return when visiting Takamatsu again.

    Wonderful

    It was a classic, calm, and elegant Hotel. I stayed here about 30 years ago as well, and my good impression has not changed—this is a Hotel I would like to stay at again. If breakfast were offered as a buffet, it would be even better. Also, it would be ideal if the Premium Lounge served alcohol in the evening.

    We enjoyed the club lounge.

    We had tea in the club lounge, enjoyed a light drink, and then went out for drinks at a friend’s place. The lounge sweets and snacks were a bit limited, but considering the price, it’s understandable. Since it’s set up as a library, it would be nice if the book selection were updated more often. As always, the breakfast plates filled up the table, and I wished there were a bit more space.

    I stayed here on a business trip. I arrived a bit early, but the Room had already been cleaned, so I was able to check in slightly ahead of time, which made everything afterward go smoothly. The Room was spacious and clean. Thank you very much.

    I’m satisfied, but…

    Thank you for your hospitality. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, but there was a strong odor in the bathroom of the guest room. I used a deodorizing spray, but it did not help much. Since this is not a particularly inexpensive Accommodation, I would appreciate it if you could address the unpleasant odor (similar to body odor).

    The lounge food was underwhelming, and there was a drain odor in the Room.

    The Hotel felt dimly lit overall, perhaps aiming for a chic atmosphere, but I thought it might be better to update the image to suit the times. The Room was spacious and clean, but when I woke up in the morning, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the drain. It may be due to the Hotel being older, but I would recommend taking measures to address it. Also, since I stayed for business, it would be even better if charging cables and similar items needed to charge phones were provided in the Room.

    We had a comfortable stay.

    Though compact, the space had everything needed without excess and was very comfortable. It was also well cleaned and well maintained. I think the bring-your-own-amenities style is efficient and a great idea. The staff kept a comfortable level of distance, which made my stay pleasant. Thank you very much.

    A well-located Hotel where you can relax in a calm setting

    I stayed here during my visit to Takamatsu. The Hotel is located in the city center, with many restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient. It was easy to get around for sightseeing and dining, which was a big help. The interior and guest room were clean and had a calm atmosphere, so I could relax comfortably. The room size was more than sufficient for a solo stay, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to rest well. The Facility amenities were well equipped with everything I needed, and I didn’t feel any inconvenience. The staff were polite, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. I didn’t use the lounge service this time, but overall it was a highly satisfying stay. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a conveniently located place in Takamatsu. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

    Business trip

    It was a typical Business Hotel. It’s quite a walk to Takamatsu Station. While there are some touches that seem to aim for an upscale feel, it’s no different from a Business Hotel. Breakfast is not buffet-style; it is a set meal (Japanese or Western). Compared with hotels at the same price in nearby Okayama and Hiroshima, I didn’t find it appealing. I hope there will be better hotels in Takamatsu City.

    It was a comfortable and lovely Hotel.

    Although my stay was short due to an early departure the next day, I had a wonderful experience. The room was compact yet beautifully designed and comfortable, with a Simmons bed that ensured a good night's sleep. While there was no large public bath or onsen, the bathroom was spacious enough. The accommodation was quiet and impeccably clean, which made for a very satisfying stay. The service deserves special mention—I would rate it 10 stars if possible! The staff were incredibly attentive, assisting with luggage shipping and arranging taxis, which I greatly appreciated. This is definitely a hotel I would love to stay at again when visiting Takamatsu.

    Hotel is part of the service industry, isn't it?

    I was disappointed with the staff's response at check-in. I mistakenly parked in the wrong garage, and their reaction was without a smile: "You need to move your car as it's in the wrong location; otherwise, we cannot apply the garage service fee." There are several garages with the same name around the Hotel, and since it was my first time in Takamatsu relying on navigation, I made a mistake. If it were me, I would have responded with a smile: "There are many garages with similar names; you must have mistaken one. It's hot outside, so let us hold your luggage here while you kindly move your car." Additionally, despite having already paid for my accommodation in advance, they charged me again without confirming. When I informed them that payment had been completed earlier, they simply said, "Oh yes, it's already paid." It made me wonder what would have happened if someone traveling with me had accidentally paid again. The female staff member's attitude left an even worse impression. However, during check-out, the male staff member provided very polite service and allowed us to leave feeling good about that part of our stay. Still, I don't think I'll be staying here again.

    This was my first time staying at this accommodation, and I was pleased with the warm and pleasant service at the reception. Additionally, the room was temperature-controlled before entry, clean, and comfortable.

    This was my second stay, but unfortunately, the service from the staff and the lounge offerings were worse than before. The lounge no longer provided snacks during tea time. In the room, there was an unpleasant smell like garlic chives coming from the bathroom, possibly because it hadn't been used for a while. However, breakfast was delicious as before, and the staff's attentive service made it satisfying.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    I stayed at the accommodation for an event at Anabuki Arena. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and pleasant. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was relaxing, providing a comfortable stay. The udon restaurant I planned to visit was within walking distance, allowing me to enjoy Takamatsu fully. If I have another chance to visit Takamatsu, I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you very much!

    Questions about the guide

    It was not explained at check-in that items such as toothbrushes were not provided in the Room, so I went to the Room without realizing it and later faced inconvenience. Also, I was informed that the air conditioning was the type that could only be turned on or off, so I should turn it off if it got too hot. However, it was actually temperature-adjustable. I would like to request appropriate guidance, even if it is minimal.

    The lounge is nice.

    The room was on the same floor as the lounge, so it was convenient to stop by immediately. The lounge had a compact presentation, but considering the accommodation fee, I thought it was sufficient. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

    Since the entire building is air-conditioned, please be cautious during seasonal transitions.

    I stayed at the end of November, but the air conditioning was only blowing air and the heating was not working. Since it is a central air conditioning system, it cannot be heated unless a contractor is brought in to switch it. I spent the mornings and evenings shivering in the cold. I think it's better to be careful when staying during the change of seasons.

    A relaxing Hotel

    I was able to relax in the club lounge. There was a time (in the evening) when the voices of inbound guests were loud and noticeable. It was a bit disappointing that there was no morning newspaper on the second night.

    You can hear the voices from the adjacent room.

    Stayed for 2 days, but the walls with the adjacent room were thin, so conversations between men and women and the sound of hangers being hung on the wall could be heard so clearly that it drowned out the TV sound, making it difficult to have a peaceful stay. It was so bad that I considered requesting a room change. On the first night, there were 2 sets, but on the second night, hand towels and bath towels were not replenished.

    Great value Hotel

    Stayed 6 years ago, and this is my second time, but I was very satisfied as before. The interior and room are clean and have a calm atmosphere, providing comfort. The lounge is also very relaxing, and I was satisfied with both the drinks and food. The service was good, especially the woman in the lounge on the first day was wonderful. The cost performance is very high, and I will stay again when I come to Takamatsu.
