    This is a Facility where you can relax and enjoy your stay.

    The Facility was beautifully maintained with well-kept trees and flowers, giving it a tropical vibe, and it was fun to stroll around while music played. Both breakfast and dinner offered a good variety and were delicious. I’m glad we chose a Room that included tickets to a nearby Onsen. It had many different baths, was spacious, and was excellent.

    Minimum

    When I went to the Room shown on my card key, the door would not open no matter how many times I tapped it. When I pressed the doorbell, someone inside answered. Wondering why, I explained the situation, and they contacted the front desk for me. It turned out that the Room number on the card key holder was incorrect. It was a terrible experience, and there was no apology from the Hotel.

    I stayed for two nig...

    I stayed for two nights in the Premier Terrace (with garden). The Room layout felt open and spacious, which was great. The Italian dishes at the buffet were delicious, and overall the staff were very helpful. I would like to stay again in the future, so I hope the following points will be improved by then. - The glass was dirty. The Room windows were covered with fingerprints. In the buffet area, there were too many visible wipe marks left behind. - There are too few paid drink options at the buffet. Despite being in a Yamada Nishiki Special A district, it was disappointing that there was only one type of inexpensive sake with no specific designation. - There are far too few drinks in both the Premier Terrace exclusive lounge and the in-Room refrigerator. The lounge had only one typical family-restaurant-style drink machine and ice. The refrigerator selection also felt incomplete and unappealing. At this point, I think it would be better to leave it empty altogether—or make it paid if necessary—but stock it with items that look exciting when you open it.

    Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

    The Onsen was excellent. We also enjoyed a delicious BBQ in a comfortable Facility. One area for improvement is the lack of cohesion across the resort as a whole—it feels somewhat disjointed. If this can be addressed, I think it will become an even more pleasant place to stay.

    A Hotel with a Public Bath

    This was my first time staying in the Main Building rather than the Terrace, but it can be difficult for guests with mobility impairments, as there are steps in the Room, it may be far from the elevator, and it may be far from the parking lot. The staff were very kind and helpful, and I felt it would be a good place for healthy families to stay.

    The Maisonette Suite...

    The Maisonette Suite Villa was spacious and very comfortable, and it was quiet and relaxing. It was thoroughly cleaned and pleasant to stay in. The refrigerator was well stocked with drinks, and we really appreciated that they were free of charge.

    A cute Room that will make you feel like a kid again!

    I came here on a recommendation. My first time at the main Tokai no Yu—so spacious! Stayed on Monday the 22nd. We planned to visit the Christmas Market over two days. On the night of our stay, we went to Tokai no Yu—spacious, but cold. The open-air bath might be better in warmer weather?! (We drove from the Hotel to Tokai no Yu.) In the morning, the Hotel’s large public bath was simply nice, both indoors and the open-air bath. We used the breakfast buffet plan. Thank you very much.

    We had a great time staying here as a group.

    Our group each booked our own Room and enjoyed dinner and the baths together. The crab at dinner was served buffet-style, and just when we thought it had run out because of the guests ahead of us, it was replenished at the perfect time—we were very happy. We chose a Japanese-style breakfast, and every dish was delicious. On the second day, we went to the outdoor Facility, where the children fully enjoyed the activities—gliding on Sky Eagle and rolling down a slope inside a sphere called Canyon Drop. After that, we were also able to warm up our chilled bodies in midwinter at “Jukkai no Yu” in a separate building, making it a truly fulfilling two-day stay. Thank you very much.

    Hidden Gem Recommendations

    I visited on a weekday during the off-season, and everything from activities to service and hospitality was excellent. I definitely want to visit again. If I had to mention one thing, we chose BBQ for dinner, and while we were given a booklet on how to light the fire, it was quite challenging and took about twice as long as expected. It would be helpful if staff could provide assistance or tips. That said, figuring it out ourselves could also be part of the fun!

    I had stayed here several times until last year. Although the illumination event was canceled this year, there were noticeable changes in various aspects. In particular, the quality of the meals was completely different from before and quite disappointing. Perhaps it is tailored to guests from Asia? I used to enjoy the Onsen and Hotel dinner, but it seems that the management policy has changed, which is unfortunate.

    3rd time at Nesta

    This was our third visit to Nesta. We stayed in the Maisonette Suite Villa with our dog. Since we had a great experience during our second stay in the spacious and clean Maisonette Suite Villa, we decided to book it again. However, this time, the room felt smaller than before, and the dog crate seemed unstable and on the verge of breaking. We had a barbecue on the terrace, but due to the season, there were many mosquitoes! When I asked at reception if they had mosquito coils, they said there were only insect repellent sprays and indoor mosquito coils available in the Room. It would be helpful if outdoor options were provided during this season. The small dog run nearby was overgrown with grass and muddy, making it unusable for our dog because of mosquitoes as well. Last time we visited during winter when everything was well-maintained with clean lawns—perhaps that made a difference? We brought our own food for barbecue on the terrace but were surprised by a 2,200 yen per person fee for bringing outside items—totaling 11,000 yen for five adults! This seems excessive; charging per villa instead would make more sense. We wanted to use the pool but couldn’t leave our dog alone in Room without supervision. When we requested early check-in to accommodate this need, it cost an additional 10,000 yen—everything felt overpriced! The map of facilities within the property remains confusing as ever; it's hard to figure out where things are located even now after multiple visits—a clearer map is much needed. What upset us most was being given lounge access cards stating service until 11:00 PM with complimentary drinks mentioned explicitly by staff upon check-in—but when visiting around 10:00 PM after enjoying Onsen relaxation earlier—the lounge offered no beverages left whatsoever! Upon calling reception about clarification—they informed us complimentary drink services ended at 6:00 PM instead contrary-to-expectations based-on-card-details provided initially which caused unnecessary inconvenience/disappointment overall ruining family trip mood significantly compared-to-past experiences here previously enjoyed better quality standards/services consistency-wise overall impression-wise unfortunately diminished greatly except Onsen itself remaining highlight-worthy aspect amidst otherwise lackluster aspects encountered throughout recent stay experience altogether     We stayed again this...

    We stayed again this year as we did last year because our child loved the pool and bath. The pool was not crowded since summer vacation had ended, so we could enjoy it at a relaxed pace and were very satisfied. However, it was disappointing that the spin dryer had been removed. In the Room, we noticed dust accumulated on the air conditioner, which was concerning. We had both breakfast and dinner, and compared to last year, the layout was more convenient for serving ourselves, and the menu was even more luxurious and delicious. The French toast in the morning was a favorite of our child who happily ate it. We used Hotel's large public bath in the morning; however, neither of the changing rooms for men or women had their lights on initially, making us enter cautiously. The lights turned on after a while but it felt slightly scary at first.

    Stay for 2 adults. Dinner could be more fulfilling. Only buffet and Japanese cuisine available. There is a bar, but it seems to be closed on weekdays.

    This was my first visit to Nesta Resort. I stayed in the Premier Terrace (Garden Terrace), and while the room itself was spacious and well-equipped with towels, the drink machine in the Oasis Lounge was out of order and unusable. It seemed that maintenance might not be thorough, possibly due to fewer guests staying at this terrace. Additionally, the breakfast buffet's last order time was 9:30 AM. Since I had children with me, we ended up entering the venue after 8:40 AM, which felt a bit rushed. I would prefer if they extended the last order time to 10:00 AM (and kept it open until at least 10:30 AM). For dinner, the barbecue had a lot of meat but very few vegetables. It would be better if they reduced some of the meat options and offered more vegetables instead. As for my overall impression of Nesta Resort, I felt that there were relatively few attractions available.

    Disappointed as the activity facility was unavailable.

    Arrived at the Hotel around 11:30 and tried to purchase tickets for activity facilities, but was told that the main activity facilities were already fully booked for the day. Unable to check in until 3 PM, I entered a less popular activity facility but still had to purchase a 1-day ticket, resulting in an expensive and disappointing day. The reception explained coldly, "Our activity facilities cannot be reserved; you need to line up. That’s our concept." I was looking forward to experiencing Nesta Resort produced by Mr. Morioka, but it turned out to be a letdown.

    Himitsu no Kichi Accommodation

    We stayed in this Room with a bunk bed at the request of our elementary school children. Since there wasn't much information about "Himitsu no Kichi," I hope this helps someone. We stayed in the Himitsu no Kichi C-Type Room. Being on the 7th floor, we enjoyed a wonderful park view overlooking Nesta, which was very pleasant. At night, the sparkling illumination lights were beautiful as well. The C-Type Room also has a bathroom with a spacious washing area and a bathtub where you can stretch your legs comfortably. The toilet is separate, very spacious, and clean. Amenities are provided in the Room, so there's no need to pick them up at the lobby. However, basic skincare items like makeup remover or lotion are not included—it would have been nice to have them since there’s an in-room bath available. In addition to yukata robes, separate top-and-bottom loungewear (or pajamas) is provided for both adults and children. Each bed has charging outlets (both power sockets and USB ports) on the wall near its headboard—very convenient! The upper bunk also has low walls even on the staircase side for safety; it seems safe enough for elementary school-aged kids not to fall off. Since our Room was on the 7th floor, it felt slightly far from vending machines located on the 2nd floor—don’t forget to buy drinks beforehand as going back later might be inconvenient. With high ceilings providing an open atmosphere, we found this Room very comfortable overall. Our kids had so much fun playing around both levels of their beds while adults relaxed enjoying scenic views. It was truly an enjoyable time for everyone!

    It was great!

    The facility is well-maintained and kept in a clean condition. The open-air bath in the room requires swimwear, but it allows for a relaxing experience. The Onsen had a slightly salty taste, leaving you warm and cozy after bathing. With various facilities available, staying for about two nights would be ideal to fully enjoy everything. Thank you very much!

    A place where families can relax and have fun.

    We stayed in a Universal Room with an outdoor bath on the Premier Terrace because we have a 1 year and 4-month-old child. We could park the car right in front of the room, and the room itself was barrier-free with a style where you take off your shoes, so our child could stay safely. Since our child is not yet independent in using the toilet and the large public bath seemed dangerous, having an Onsen bath on the balcony allowed us to bathe at night and in the morning without worrying about time, making our stay comfortable. Since we visited in February, it was very cold with snow flurries, but we only needed to go to the main building for meals. We chose a buffet for dinner, but there was a long line for crab, which was tiring. In the morning, we enjoyed a leisurely time at a Japanese restaurant. The room came with a cart like those found at golf courses, which made moving around fun. Additionally, there were three types of clean playground equipment near the room, suitable for different ages, allowing our child to play during spare moments. The nighttime illumination was beautiful, and I think even babies can enjoy watching it (though it is extremely cold in winter). We received attraction tickets, but for a one-year-old, only the animal area, air trampoline area, illumination, and free playground equipment near the room were enjoyable, but our family was very satisfied. We also received tickets for Jukkai no Yu, and our child was very satisfied with just the lunch and kids' play area. There were no people on the day, which was nice, but I think it would be better if the kids' room were larger and had more things to play with (adults took turns bathing, and the Onsen was nice). Overall, I think we would like to visit again when it gets a bit warmer and our child is a bit older. We had a fun time.

    Parent and child

    I used the facility. Although it was cold, I was able to upgrade to a 1.5-day ticket and enjoyed it thoroughly. Adults could enjoy it even more than children, and the Onsen was excellent. I just wished the buffet could have been a bit better! But considering the price, it was reasonable.

    Everything except the meals was good.

    We stayed as a family of four with an elementary school student and a 3-year-old boy. The children were thrilled with the bunk beds, and they were delighted with the activities. However, there were slightly fewer options available for the 3-year-old. The bath in the Hotel's large public bath was average, but the Jukkai no Yu was excellent. We mistakenly registered the 3-year-old as an infant, but the activity staff noticed, and eventually, we received a refund from the Hotel. Thank you for your courteous assistance. However, the buffet meal was disappointing in terms of both taste and variety. There was also a spider web in the corner of the Room. We ordered the all-you-can-drink option, but the selection was limited. I believe it was the off-season, but I hope for improvements.

    An easy-to-reach Facility where you can relax at your own pace.

    Great access by car as it’s right off the expressway. However, it’s so close that there are no convenience stores nearby, so be aware (there is no convenience-store-style shop inside the Facility either). This was my second stay code but compared with a few years ago—perhaps management has changed—the Accommodation is clean, but the service has declined somewhat. Even with a Premier plan, check-in is at the main building, there is no welcome service, and they can’t accommodate even simple requests. The Room was very clean and well maintained, but it was disappointing that there were no USB ports and no background music. Because it was the off-season, the buffet was moved to a temporary venue and the quality was terrible: few menu items; food that was cold or dried out; and overall not tasty. The drink corner was inconveniently located outside as well. I don’t see a future in deciding not to maintain quality even with fewer guests. Staff were generally excellent except for the cook at breakfast time. Most activities were suspended due to worsening weather, so the 1-day pass felt like a waste. I’d like you to consider converting it into something else such as a fast pass for next time or bathing tickets. “Jukkai-no-Yu” seems to have been renamed since before, but it looked essentially the same. It was disappointing that part of my favorite open-air bath area was closed off. Cleanliness, maintenance, staff, and even the taste at the dining area were all satisfying. One thing: a smoking area isn’t necessary; fruit milk is necessary. Guests should be allowed to re-enter for another bath session after checking out as well.

    Good for families

    The buffet was satisfying, and we could eat to our heart's content! The activities were great too! The Onsen was amazing! Weekdays are less crowded, which is perfect!

    First Time at NESTA Resort

    I visited for the purpose of Onsen. The Onsen at both the Hotel and the Onsen facility was very good. We requested a Japanese-style breakfast, and even though it was just my husband and me, they served us a delicious breakfast. Thank you very much. Unfortunately, the table in front of the elevator on the 4th floor, where the phone and alcohol disinfectant are placed, was covered in dust. I would like not only the Room but also other areas to be kept clean.

    We enjoyed a relaxing time on our three-generation trip.

    This was my first time using the service. I was very satisfied with the quality of the Room and the amenities as a Property! The spacious Room with calm furnishings allowed both the children and grandma to relax comfortably. I am very satisfied, but there is one point. The number 4 cart in front of the Room ran out of charge, and even after charging, it stopped on the slope without carrying the family, so please replace it with a new one.

    Quality in everything...

    - Despite the congestion at check-in, there was no guidance from the staff, and we were made to wait for over an hour. - As for the buffet, it falls far short of Mercure, with the same menu every day and a limited variety. The omelet was a hard rolled egg, and most dishes, including pizza and takoyaki, were cold. The selection of all-you-can-drink alcohol was also cheap. The replenishment of ingredients was poor, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. - Above all, the tables and shabby hall reminiscent of a community center were the worst, and the tables where the food was served were dirty. - The staff at all the dining establishments were unfriendly, and the service was inadequate. - Although the concept and planning are good, as it is produced by the highly reputed Mr. Morioka, the level of the staff operating it is low, resulting in a sense of negligence and cheapness throughout. - The attractions were exhausting due to long-distance travel, making it a stressful 3-day, 2-night stay.

    It was comfortable.

    This is my second visit. It's a good Hotel where you can enjoy a resort nearby, and the rating itself is perfect, but... Since this is my second time, I thought about changing the Plan, but I'm not sure where the building is for the Plan that is not in the Hotel building. I also don't know the distance to the large public bath. There is a Room hot pot meal, but what about drinks? The summer BBQ is at night, so I can endure the heat, but is there outdoor heating in this season? Is the breakfast burger cold? There were too many uncertainties, so I gave up. If I were serious about going, I would check in advance, but since it was just a consideration, I chose a safe and reliable Plan. I think providing as much information as possible would enhance the appeal. I intended to ask at the front desk, but I completely forgot and left. I would like to challenge it again someday.

    Spacious and relaxing with beautiful surrounding nature.

    I was surprised when I visited for the first time in a while, having used it several times when it first opened. The Hotel rooms have been renovated. The Premier Terrace and Glamping Cabin, which were under construction at the time, and the Sky Eagle, among others, have been significantly improved and enhanced. I couldn't help but smile at the peaceful scene of high school students cheering as they flew majestically through the sky and families enjoying canoeing. The surroundings are spacious and set in a beautiful natural environment. The autumn leaves are beautiful and soothing at this time of year. I was also able to enjoy the Onsen comfortably. Especially the Jukkai no Yu is wonderful. Back then, I looked forward to having Cremia soft serve ice cream and coffee at the back of the lobby upon arrival, but it was a bit disappointing that it was no longer available. However, the staff were friendly and kind in their service. I will use it again.

    For the price...

    Although there is a benefit of being able to enter 30 minutes before opening, the cost performance of the Room and meals is poor for the price... I was surprised by the buffet dinner, as it was the first buffet I experienced... Next time, I think I'll book a Hotel outside.

    The unfriendly attit...

    The unfriendly attitude of the staff at the luggage storage before the Canyon Drop left our family speechless with an unpleasant atmosphere. It didn't become a fun memory, so there won't be a next time.
