    I had a relaxing stay.

    It was a long-awaited visit, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the hospitality, amenities, facilities, and meals, all of which were very refined. Previously, I stayed in the main building quite some time ago, but this time I stayed on the 4th floor of the Residence Wing with a room offering a great view of Mt. Fuji. Although the room bath was not an open-air bath, I appreciated being able to use a private open-air bath. The meals were also excellent; they kindly adjusted them according to my wife's dietary preferences as informed in advance. Everything was delicious. The staff provided warm and pleasant service throughout our stay, making it an enjoyable experience overall. I would love to stay here again in the future. (The only downside was that the room bath in the morning felt slightly lukewarm.)

    Exceptional hospitality and excellent dining

    We stayed as a family, and I was pregnant at the time. The staff were very considerate in many ways, including the meals, allowing me to have a comfortable and worry-free stay. My parents also enjoyed the wonderful food. Thank you very much!

    A great value and lovely Hotel

    Overall, everything was not bad. One concern was the musty smell from the cupboard in the Room. When opening the door to take out a wine glass, a moldy odor was noticeable. Please ensure thorough drying of the cupboard. Other than that, it was perfect. The luxurious scent in the public spaces was delightful, and the Onsen in the private Room available all day long was excellent. Additionally, dinner was very delicious; especially, the dessert "Reika Kashi" was outstanding. The only downside is that the Room felt slightly small, but considering privacy, it’s understandable.

    We provided a peaceful and relaxing stay.

    I have stayed here several times and always feel very relaxed. The staff provides just the right level of attentive service. Soaking in the Onsen multiple times from early morning rejuvenates me and helps me return to work feeling refreshed. This time, I didn’t have dinner here, but as always, the breakfast was delicious—it’s "the best breakfast in the world" for me. However, for the first time, I noticed an odor from the sofa in my Room and used a deodorizing spray. I look forward to staying here again soon!

    The staff provides excellent service.

    Located deep in the mountains of Hakone at a high altitude, this is an ideal retreat for those seeking privacy. The staff provides exceptional hospitality, which we found truly remarkable. Despite being in the middle of summer, it was pleasantly cool. Thanks to the high altitude, even with the windows open, insects did not come inside—something that amazed us greatly.

    It was a highly satisfying stay.

    This was my first time staying here. The Hotel entrance had a quiet and serene atmosphere, and the Room was spacious and relaxing. The private open-air bath was incredibly pleasant, and the meals were delicious. It was my first visit to Hakone, but I would love to stay here again.

    It was a wonderful stay.

    This year, we once again visited Hiramatsu, a place our family loves. As always, the exceptional hospitality, delicious cuisine, and meticulously maintained facilities exceeded our expectations. We were touched that the staff remembered us and deeply appreciated their warm consideration for my elderly mother. We are already looking forward to our next visit.     First Room Experience

    This time, after a 4-month interval, I stayed on the first floor for the first time. Although it has the same size as the DX room on the third floor, it felt completely different, almost like staying at a different accommodation. The beautiful greenery of the garden was incredibly soothing. The dinner featured a summer menu, with seasonal corn being particularly delicious. The menu for the second night was fresh and satisfying, though breakfast could use a little more creativity. As always, the hostess's gentle and warm smile was delightful. I look forward to visiting again.

    The amenities and facilities were well-equipped. However, it would be appreciated if the mold on the bathroom door could be cleaned. It was a bit concerning that younger staff served in silence, but overall, the effort of the team to provide their best service was evident.

    Disappointing

    When choosing an Accommodation I want to visit, I usually rely on Reviews and blogs, but my honest impression was that the dining quality was significantly lower than what I had seen in various blogs. The presentation lacked flair, and there wasn’t a single dish that exceeded what I imagined from the menu or left a lasting impression. Portions were also small... On my previous and second-previous trips, I stayed at Hotels in the same price range offering French cuisine, and compared with those, the portions here felt almost half. As for the main duck dish, it was just one piece, and it was very disappointing that the side dishes were larger in quantity. The dessert was very creative and delicious, which improved my impression somewhat, but overall the course meal fell far short of expectations. On the other hand, I was very satisfied with the Hotel facilities, guest room comfort, and the quality of amenities. The private open-air bath was also excellent; however, there seemed to be few guests and plenty of open Reservation slots available, so I wish you had offered guidance about making a second Reservation as well. Finally, at checkout—even though I had prepaid—it seemed not to have been processed correctly and I was charged for the stay. In addition to being kept waiting quite a while for confirmation and reissuing my Receipt with little apology offered afterward—although I did stay at a better rate during a sale period—this response was disappointing for an Accommodation in this price range.

    It was excellent.

    "It was so wonderful that my husband and I found ourselves saying, 'Why didn't we come here sooner?' From the room, we could enjoy views of fresh greenery, and the Onsen experience in that space was truly exceptional. I imagine the autumn foliage would offer a completely different kind of beauty. What impressed us most was the food. It was visually stunning, delicious in taste, and made us determined to visit again."

    The expectations were too high.

    I had high expectations for this Hotel, but unfortunately, the disappointing aspects left a stronger impression. [Disappointing Points] ● Room Cleaning There was dust accumulated on the wall above the refrigerator. Dust on the bathroom floor was noticeable. The dark-colored floor and strong lighting made it particularly stand out. There was a black stain on the wall next to the mirror in the sink area (it looked like dried liquid). ● Room Bath While I understand it’s not an onsen with continuous flow, I was very dissatisfied that I couldn’t control the water volume or temperature in my room. It was shocking that I had to call reception every time just to get hot water into the bathtub. [Positive Points] ● Private Open-Air Bath It was very spacious, clean, and even had automatic doors, which impressed me greatly. Given my dissatisfaction with the room bath, this stood out even more positively. ● Breakfast The presentation of dishes was beautiful with vibrant colors; portions were just right and everything tasted delicious.

    I was very satisfied.

    I booked a hotel known for its delicious cuisine, and I am extremely satisfied. Not only was the food exceptional, but the experience was elevated with touches like slicing truffles in front of you and desserts shaped like fruits, offering a feast for the eyes as well. I would love to visit again.

    Experience the extraordinary

    Thank you for your hospitality. Unfortunately, the weather was as forecasted with rain and fog for two days. If the weather had been better, I could have enjoyed a walk around the Hotel or appreciated nature more, which is a bit disappointing. Since Hiramatsu in Karuizawa Miyota is one of my favorite Hotels, I visited again with high expectations this time. **[Impressive Points]** - All the staff were very kind and pleasant to interact with. - The meals were thoughtfully prepared with various creative touches. I especially liked "Fava Bean and Pecorino Romano Tart with Fava Bean Soup" and "Premium Yashio Trout Mosaic Style with Spring Cabbage Espuma and Fromage Plan." While it may sound presumptuous, I felt there could be a balance between elaborate dishes and simpler ones. - Despite the stormy weather, I enjoyed using the open-air bath on the first floor while feeling connected to dynamic nature—it turned out to be quite fun! Since this was a solo trip for me, 40 minutes of usage time was sufficient; however, it might feel rushed if each person enters separately during group visits. - Thank you for the Diamond Member benefit gift—I am looking forward to enjoying it! **[Two Concerns I'd Like to Share]** - Every time I opened my Room's toilet door, there was a distinctive smell that wasn't very pleasant. Additionally, since the shelf above seemed somewhat bare in appearance, perhaps placing flowers or aromatics there could improve both scent and ambiance? Also, having dedicated slippers for use in the toilet would feel more comfortable. - Breakfast felt ordinary without anything particularly exciting about it—something more inspiring would have been delightful (apologies if this sounds presumptuous). It was an enjoyable two days where I got to experience something extraordinary—and now I'm recharged to work hard again starting tomorrow! Thank you so much!

    It was my first visit in six months, and I was reminded once again that this is a place where both body and mind can be healed, offering a sense of liberation. The interior resembles an art museum, with layers of fresh greenery visible through the windows, complemented by visually delightful and delicious dishes.     Hiramatsu Luxury

    I often visit Hiramatsu restaurants, but this was my first time staying at the Hotel. The Room was comfortable and the amenities were excellent. I enjoyed a delicious course meal from Hiramatsu at a leisurely pace. The gift from IKYU was also a delightful surprise. I would love to visit again around autumn.

    It was the perfect refreshing trip!

    Recently, I stayed at the accommodation with my mother. Every dish we tried was delicious, and my mother was deeply impressed by each plate, saying it was the best she had ever tasted. The open-air bath and indoor bath were clean and comfortable, allowing us to fully enjoy our time there. During our stay, we were continuously moved by the staff's attentive hospitality and the wonderful meals. My mother was especially touched by how you accommodated her food allergies. Since her allergy is quite rare, she usually experiences dishes being omitted rather than substituted. However, your team provided alternatives and explained everything thoroughly—we are truly grateful for this thoughtful care. This trip was a spontaneous plan for a refreshing getaway, but I would love to visit again in the future. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

    Comfortable Stay

    The meals made with carefully selected ingredients were delicious, and the service was adjusted to our dining pace, which was delightful. We enjoyed both the private bath and the Room bath. However, we noticed that the labels on the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the private bath were fading and hard to read for those with poor eyesight. Additionally, no matter how much conditioner was applied, it left hair feeling rough and wasn't very pleasant to use. The double sink setup at the vanity area is excellent as it allows you to designate usage spots beforehand, avoiding stress when using it simultaneously with a companion. Both loungewear and pajamas are provided; however, I accidentally slept in my loungewear without changing into pajamas at bedtime. It would be even better if there were explanations about loungewear versus pajamas as well as indoor footwear versus slippers (I asked about this during the explanation of the private bath). Since we checked in late this time, I hope to check in earlier next time so I can enjoy more time at the Hotel!

    Exceptional hospitality.

    This was my second stay, and both times were truly wonderful. The facility is excellent, but the care and hospitality of the staff are exceptional. Both visits were with a baby, and the provision of baby items allowed us to relax comfortably in our room. During dinner, there is a dedicated area for children, so even if they cry a little, you can enjoy your meal without worry. They also warmed up baby food and transferred it to a dish, which made my child happy to eat. Since it was close to my child's birthday on the day of our visit, they even prepared a special plate for us at short notice, creating an unforgettable memory. I would love to visit another Hiramatsu property as well as return here to Hiramatsu Sengokuhara again!

    I had a relaxing stay.

    I stayed for two nights and three days as a solo male traveler. The Room was spacious, clean, and allowed for a quiet stay. I was initially worried about standing out during dinner as I was dining alone, but there were several other solo male travelers from abroad as well. The meals were elaborate and delicious, with excellent wine pairings. The only downside was having to walk to the closet with shoes on.

    I used this accommodation to celebrate a birthday. The room with an open-air onsen was truly exceptional, showcasing the unique charm of Hiramatsu's hotels. I would love to stay at their Sengokuhara location or other Hiramatsu hotels in the future. <Highlights> - The luxurious atmosphere and hospitality that offered an extraordinary experience were outstanding. - The staff provided thorough answers to all our questions, demonstrating their high level of professionalism. - The private onsen had a different feel from the one in the room and was spacious. - As expected from Hiramatsu, the food was incredibly delicious. It’s rare to find accommodations where even meals are so satisfying, which made me happy. They also accommodated our wine requests perfectly. - It was great that drinks in the room were included in the price. <Points of Concern> - I noticed some wear and tear on furniture due to aging. - Breakfast portions were modest, and there was redundancy with soup dishes (potage and stew), so it would be nice if adjustments could be made. - While overall cleanliness met expectations, I found a shrink wrap from a water bottle presumably left by previous guests near the edge of the bath in our room. - Since I made this reservation for my husband’s celebration, it felt inconsiderate that explanations and payment inquiries were directed toward him instead of me; more attention here would be appreciated.

    It was a truly satisfying day.

    I stayed at HIRAMATSU in March as a reward trip for myself during my birthday month. I was deeply impressed by the staff's attentive service and exceptional hospitality. The meals were incredibly delicious, and the room was sophisticated and very comfortable to stay in. Although I hadn't informed them about my birthday month, one of the staff noticed and kindly offered me celebratory words during dinner. It made me truly happy—thank you so much!     Everything was satisfying.

    It was my first time using IKYU.com, and everything was satisfying. The service, meals, amenities, and bath were all excellent, allowing me to have an enjoyable time. If I had to point out something, the most affordable Room we chose was a bit small with only one sofa, and the lighting at the sink area was dim. From welcoming us at the car to explaining amenities and ingredients, the staff took great care of us—thank you very much. I would like to use other Hotels in this group again. I travel about twice a month, and IKYU's recommendations are always reliable. Thank you!
