    Is this what you call a Room Gacha?

    This was my second stay at this Hotel. Last time, I stayed in a twin room with a train view, offering a great panoramic view that I enjoyed with the curtains open. This time, I booked a Moderate Double Room and was looking forward to the view. However, when I opened the curtains, I was surprised to see it faced south towards JR Central Towers and was filled with air conditioning fans below. The neighboring elevator was also clearly visible. If it had been clear that this room had no view, I wouldn’t have been disappointed. However, the photos on the reservation page showed images of rooms with far-reaching views, which made it quite shocking for me. The location is excellent, and I'd like to stay here again when visiting Nagoya. It would be reassuring if we could choose the direction of the room during Reservation next time!

    Close to the station

    It is a relatively new Hotel and very convenient to use. Being close to the station, it was extremely helpful for getting around. However, the elevator was shared with the general public and often quite crowded. A dedicated elevator for Hotel guests would be appreciated.

    There was no noise from the construction of the linear station as previously mentioned, and I enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable breakfast buffet. I also appreciate the courteous response regarding my forgotten item in the common space. If I may suggest, having mirrors on the sides of the sink would be convenient for putting on contact lenses or applying makeup. Alternatively, it would be helpful to have a tabletop mirror available for loan so guests can groom themselves in a well-lit Room.

    Complicated and disappointing check-in process, pillows are well deodorized.

    I have been a repeat guest for nearly 100 stays over the past 7-8 years. When booking through IKYU, other Hotels only require a signature and minimal checks, but starting this year, the process has expanded to three screens including entering my date of birth, which is frustrating. Also, I would appreciate more attention to deodorizing the pillows. Other than that, it’s an excellent Hotel that I am very satisfied with.

    The service was excellent.

    I chose this Hotel because of its reputation for delicious breakfast, but I was disappointed as the variety of dishes was limited and there were hardly any desserts. The front desk staff were polite, cheerful, and very pleasant, which made it even more unfortunate. Being located above the station, I expected to hear train noises at night, but I could hear quite a few trains passing by.

    Convenient and user-friendly

    Conveniently located above the station. The bathroom drainage was poor, but it was promptly addressed. The response was quick. It would be better if the Room were a bit more spacious.

    Very good.

    I always choose this place for my business trips to Nagoya. It's conveniently located inside the station. The breakfast is also delicious. Absolutely no complaints. Just one thing. I always bring and use a portable body towel from MUJI, but this time, as I stayed for two nights, I left the towel in the bathroom, and it was disposed of. The same thing happened last time, and I wondered why. Upon closer inspection, it seems that the hotel's provided body towel looks similar to mine, so it was likely mistaken and disposed of. It's understandable as it's hard to distinguish, and I'm not asking for compensation, but I hope something can be done about this. This is not a complaint at all, just for your reference.

    Functional and smart. A Hotel you'll want to revisit.

    I was drawn to the Hotel for its direct access to the station and excellent breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised by the well-stocked amenities, a convenience store-like shop nearby, comfortable pillows, a coffee machine, and complimentary water. Even aspects I hadn't considered were well-prepared, making my stay highly satisfying. The service was straightforward—neither outstanding nor lacking—but the breakfast stood out with its variety of Nagoya specialties and sophistication. The takeaway corner offering not just coffee but also mini donuts added a charming Nagoya touch. Overall, it was incredibly convenient with great sleep quality and breakfast, making for a pleasant stay. If I had more time, I would have liked to try the in-room massage service. This Hotel strikes an excellent balance in every aspect.

    A Hotel That Meets Your Expectations

    I used this accommodation for a baseball game. The direct connection to Nagoya Station and the high-quality breakfast were major reasons for my choice. As mentioned in the reviews, the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including Nagoya specialties. Additionally, the staff responded appropriately to my inquiries. Despite delays caused by a typhoon affecting the Shinkansen, I managed to arrive in time for the game. I would definitely like to stay here again next time!

    The elevator was quick and comfortable. The Nagoya-style breakfast was also very satisfying. I would love to stay again. The access route to the parking lot was a bit confusing on the first day.

    Opened in 2017, this accommodation is relatively new, with clean, simple, and functional facilities. Although I live in Nagoya City, I stayed here for convenience when using the Shinkansen. Being located above the station building made it very comfortable to rest immediately after returning on the last train. You can find everything you need at the station building—from groceries and clothing to electronics and daily necessities—making your trip hassle-free and enjoyable. Depending on the room, there might be windows facing other buildings with shades that cannot be raised, which was a bit disappointing. I would love to stay in a different room next time. It was a very comfortable stay. Thank you!

    Stayed for a baseball game. Very convenient as it is located above Nagoya Station. There was an issue with the courier service during check-out (not the hotel's fault), but the front desk staff handled the situation carefully and professionally, which gave me peace of mind. I would like to stay here again when visiting Nagoya.

    Both the convenience and the Room were excellent.

    It was my first time in Nagoya to meet a friend. The hotel is directly connected to the station, making it very convenient. The Room and staff were wonderful. I opted for a meal plan but missed it due to oversleeping, so I’ll make sure to enjoy it next time I visit.

    The check-in system changes are very disappointing.

    The location, room amenities, and cleanliness are impeccable. However, the check-in system has been made more complicated this month. Previously, a simple signature with a name was sufficient, but now it has become overly cumbersome. Since the booking was made through IKYU and the information should already be provided, it feels unnecessarily tedious, especially as a loyal guest who has stayed here dozens of times over the past five years. Please consider reverting to the previous system.

    The Room was standard, but the bathtub was spacious and nice. The breakfast buffet was very delicious, and the red bean butter sandwich offered for takeaway was also very tasty!

    About Dinner

    I chose a Plan with dinner included for my elderly parents. When they sat down, there was wine on the table, and they thought it was part of the Plan, so they drank it. However, they were later charged for it and felt surprised. As the one who gifted them this experience, I also felt sorry about this situation. It would have been nice if the staff had mentioned that additional charges would apply. (If an explanation was given but not understood due to their age, I apologize.)

    I was impressed.

    When my wife accidentally dropped and broke the shampoo container, we reported it to the front desk staff. The first thing they said was, "Are you okay? Were you hurt?" Their concern for us as guests was truly touching and taught me the importance of prioritizing customer care. It warmed my heart. Thank you very much.

    Impeccably clean!

    The Room was upgraded for my mother's 77th birthday celebration, and she was delighted to receive a message card as a gift. It became a memorable trip. The convenience of the location allowed us to travel, eat, shop, and explore without any trouble as planned. I would definitely like to use this service again next time. Talking with the staff was enjoyable as well. After dinner, we visited the Starbucks on the 15th floor and had a lovely time chatting with my mother while enjoying the night view.

    It is excellent.

    This is my go-to place whenever I’m on a business trip to Nagoya. The location is, of course, very convenient, but the Room also stands out with its attention to detail. It’s incredibly comfortable to stay here. Highly recommended for everyone!

    Comfortable Station Hotel

    I chose to make a Reservation at this Hotel because it seemed convenient for visiting Ghibli Park. The deciding factor was the free Child Sharing Existing Bedding policy for elementary school children. They kindly stored our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. On the front floor, there’s a pharmacy, convenience store, and Starbucks—everything you might need in one place, making it an incredibly convenient Hotel. As for the room, there were many things I liked: the spacious bath area was perfect for bathing with kids, and the Margaret Josefin shampoo provided as an amenity felt amazing to use. It truly helped relieve travel fatigue!

    The hospitality was ...

    The hospitality was excellent. We had breakfast, and everything suited our taste, including my husband's. One suggestion would be to have an air purifier in the Room. We would love to stay again.

    Front Desk

    The check-in process was not very satisfactory. A group of three people checked in individually before me, which took some time to complete. When it was finally my turn, the staff member walked over to another staff member for a chat and observed the growing line for a while. Eventually, they returned to their station and proceeded with my check-in. I had been standing in line waiting and hoped for quicker assistance once it was my turn, but the experience felt disappointing. For a 4-star Hotel... On the other hand, the breakfast staff were all very kind and made the experience pleasant. Thank you!
