    Hoping for Reviews

    I was looking forward to my stay because there were so many good Reviews, but... I arrived a little early and waited in the lobby until exactly check-in time. The Room was spacious, but there were some oddly unused areas. The refrigerator had only water, and I had to bring both a towel and bath towel from the Room to go to the large public bath—it felt like a budget Hotel I stayed at when I was younger. Breakfast is buffet-style, but it was disappointing that items like the salad dressing seemed to be standard store-bought products with no special touch.

    We stayed here for m...

    We stayed here for my husband’s birthday trip. Our Room faced Mt. Fuji, and the view was amazing—we could see Mt. Fuji clearly even from the open-air bath. The meals also included Mt. Fuji-themed dishes, which we enjoyed with all five senses. There was a fireworks festival at Lake Kawaguchi, and the hotel prepared special seating on the rooftop so we could watch comfortably. We were also able to make a Reservation for a surprise birthday cake through the website, and it was served at our requested time. The service was excellent, and we would love to stay again.

    The breakfast buffet was the best!

    The breakfast buffet was absolutely the best! If you offered it at dinner as well, I’d love to come back. I’d like a bit more privacy screening for the open-air bath. The staff were kind and helpful, which was great. Because the weather was bad, I arrived about 20 minutes early for check-in, but I ended up waiting quite a while.

    Both the staff and the other guests at the Accommodation were very kind. The coffee near the front desk was incredibly delicious to me. Compared with a nearby coffee shop, it was stronger and I liked it! One disappointing point: the Room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. There was some small, hard debris on the floor. I had informed them in advance that we had a baby, so that was the only letdown.

    I was a bit disappointed.

    This was our second stay. We booked for three guests, but this time the Room was prepared for only two. There were not enough room cards, futons, cups, etc.—especially the room cards, which was inconvenient. Also, the coffee server and coffee cup sizes did not match. The cup was too small and almost overflowed, so it felt like it might spill while carrying it. However, the staff member in charge of our Room last year remembered us. I remembered them as well, so I was very happy.

    It was a wonderful Ryokan where we could fully enjoy both the cuisine and the scenery.

    This time we stayed in a lake-side Room overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, and the view from the balcony with a private open-air bath was amazing. From the rooftop footbath terrace, we could enjoy both Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi! The Room was spotless and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful amenities that made it easy to relax and unwind. The Onsen facilities included an open-air bath, waterfall shower, bubble bath, sauna, and cold plunge, and we were able to fully enjoy the mild, soothing water quality. Meals featured a wide variety of carefully prepared dishes using ingredients such as rainbow trout and bamboo shoots—everything was plentiful and absolutely satisfying. Although there were many international guests due to Mt. Fuji’s popularity, the number of groups staying was relatively small, so we could take our time enjoying both meals and baths throughout our stay.

    Thoughtful attention to every last detail

    Seeking a break from everyday life, I stayed at this Accommodation by a quiet lakeside. I felt that paying just a little more attention to small details could leave an even better impression. Specifically, the bedside clock in the room was about 15 minutes off when I arrived. I adjusted it for the next guest, but I hope you will consider how guests spend their time in the room. “Forgetting time and relaxing” is different from “the time being incorrect.” Some guests may feel as though they are being pulled back into reality. Because this is an Accommodation that can be highly praised for its Onsen and meals, it feels especially unfortunate that such minor lapses stand out. Though it is a small point, speaking as someone who has worked in hospitality as well, I hope you will reflect on the fundamentals of true hospitality.

    A Trip Timed for the Fireworks Festival

    Coming here for the fireworks festival was absolutely the right choice. Fireworks were launched from just steps away from our Room, and I’ve never been able to watch any fireworks show from this close—it became a once-in-a-lifetime memory. The Room was clean, and the food was delicious. The staff who assisted us were polite and pleasant, and they greeted us even as we walked around the property. We stayed here on our last day, and it was also very convenient—close to the station on our way back, and we could easily stop by Kachi-Kachi Yama as well. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

    Excellent!

    When I stayed here before, it was so comfortable that I didn’t want to go home—and this time, I still didn’t want to leave (lol). You can truly enjoy the best part of traveling: a special escape from everyday life. I actually stayed somewhere else the night before, but it wasn’t satisfying, so I made a last-minute Reservation because I knew Konansou was the right choice. The views are wonderful, and both the baths and meals are excellent. The staff are also very pleasant. I want to visit many times a year!

    This Hotel is very close to the cable car station, and there are many restaurants nearby. We stayed in a renovated Room. We could see Mt. Fuji from the Room. The Room was comfortable. We had dinner in our Room. All dishes except dessert were already set out on the table.

    Private Onsen is disappointing.

    I reserved a room with a private onsen. The open-air bath was available, but it had a strong chlorine smell, similar to a swimming pool. Due to the strong odor, I couldn't stay in for long, and my skin felt dry afterward. Dinner was average. The room faced Mount Fuji and was spacious. On clear days, you can enjoy an amazing view. While it's a good hotel for enjoying the scenery, I wouldn't recommend reserving a room with a private onsen.

    Rediscover the charm of a Ryokan.

    We stayed for two nights from August 10th as a party of two. From the pick-up service, front desk, to the room staff, everyone paid attention to every detail, allowing us to enjoy an absolutely wonderful holiday. We had always stayed at Hotels before, but on our way home, we found ourselves saying, "From now on, it's definitely Ryokan!" At the very end of our stay, I made a mistake that caused some trouble for the staff—my sincere apologies—but seeing how they handled it left my companion deeply moved as well. We hope to have another opportunity to stay with you again. Thank you so much!

    Accommodation with Excellent Location and Hospitality

    We stayed here for our family summer vacation. Due to the high season, the price was on the higher side, but we decided to splurge and make a reservation. The result was a very satisfying accommodation experience. At check-in, we were warmly welcomed by many staff members. The entire hotel was clean and comfortable. The meals were beautifully presented with fine details, and both the taste and portions were highly satisfying. One highlight is the footbath with a view of Mt. Fuji—we visited it multiple times! Additionally, this hotel has an excellent location. The ropeway station and sightseeing boat dock are very close by, as well as convenience stores and souvenir shops within walking distance. This time, we stayed in a room with a view of Lake Kawaguchi—it offered such stunning scenery that we could gaze at it endlessly!

    Stayed for one night and two days. This accommodation offers exceptional hospitality. The room is divided into a bedroom and a tatami area, with an incredible view of Lake Kawaguchi right in front of you. However, Mount Fuji is not included in the view depending on the room orientation. The highlight of this accommodation is the food. Dinner is served in-room as part of the dining plan. The dishes are carefully prepared, and even dietary restrictions like fish allergies were fully accommodated with vegetable-based miso soup instead of fish stock, which was highly appreciated by my companion. The regular meals also feature a variety of delicious dishes served at just the right timing to ensure optimal taste. Breakfast was buffet-style with an impressive selection that amazed us—everything was delicious! Even simple items like fried eggs were offered in both firm and soft options, along with many other egg dishes and ancient rice varieties that surprised us with their flavor. The spacious dining area added to the relaxing atmosphere. The facility includes a lounge where you can enjoy complimentary drinks while taking in views of Lake Kawaguchi—a favorite spot for relaxation. The terrace seating exudes resort vibes, and wine is also available here for an additional charge. Our room had an open-air bath where we could soak while enjoying views of Lake Kawaguchi (though Mount Fuji wasn't visible from our side). The facility's public baths include large communal baths, saunas, and open-air baths—all very satisfying experiences offering views of Mount Fuji as well. I bathed four times during my stay! On the rooftop, there’s also a footbath facility where you can relax while gazing at Lake Kawaguchi or use telescopes and smartphone stands to enjoy stunning views of Mount Fuji or take photos—this alone feels like premium entertainment included within your stay. Even after forgetting something at checkout and returning later in the evening, I was allowed to use the footbath again while enjoying different evening scenery around Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi—a testament to their outstanding customer service that makes me want to return without hesitation. This one-night-two-day stay felt far more enriching than expected—thank you so much for such an unforgettable experience!

    A bit disappointing for the price range.

    Good Points: - The view from the room is excellent. You can enjoy the view of Lake Kawaguchi while taking a bath. - Dinner is reasonably delicious for an accommodation in this price range. Bad Points: - Service level is low. Dinner time is restricted, and drinks ordered were served very late, even after finishing the meal. - Breakfast buffet is comparable to that of a business hotel. Steamed vegetables were frozen ones, which was disappointing. - The provided samue sizes are either too large or too small (child-sized). Considering the average height of Japanese women being 158cm, many female guests might find this inconvenient. The front desk's response regarding yukata availability was not satisfactory either.

    Comfortable Accommodation by Lake Kawaguchi

    Relax and unwind while catching a glimpse of Mt. Fuji from the rooftop footbath. The shuttle service to Kawaguchiko Station is prompt and friendly, much appreciated. The breakfast buffet is delicious and satisfying. Highly recommended accommodation.

    It was a cozy and lovely accommodation.

    I stayed at this accommodation after attending a concert at Kawaguchiko Stellar Theater. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be an unexpectedly comfortable and wonderful accommodation. The room was renovated and very clean, the facility was spacious and relaxing, and it was pleasantly quiet. The large public bath had the latest hairdryers installed, and the room's washbasin had a small mirror that was very convenient for makeup. The best part was the breakfast. Since it was a buffet, I honestly didn't expect much, but everything was incredibly delicious, allowing me to enjoy a relaxing morning.

    Majestic Mount Fuji and Relaxing Baths

    The location was excellent, with stunning views of Mount Fuji from the rooftop and the large public bath. The Onsen and meals were highly satisfying. The large public bath included features like a waterfall bath and sauna, allowing for a relaxing and comfortable experience without feeling crowded. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes, so much that it was hard to finish everything, and they were absolutely delicious. As for the traditional Ryokan style with in-room dining and staff preparing futons in your room, preferences may vary, but I enjoyed chatting with the staff during their visits. Both the room and dining area were spacious and clean, making this accommodation feel more impressive than its exterior appearance suggested.

    Used for a birthday celebration!

    Visited for a birthday trip. Despite the unfortunate rain, we managed to catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji! The staff were incredibly helpful in assisting with preparations like the cake for the birthday celebration, including communication on the day itself—truly appreciated! The Onsen was almost like a private experience, possibly because there were many international guests and our meal time was later. The facilities, including the rest area, were clean and very comfortable to use.

    The day we arrived, it rained until around noon, so we couldn't see much of Mt. Fuji, which was disappointing. However, the next day had great weather, and we were moved by the beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from the rooftop terrace and footbath. From our Room, we could also enjoy a lovely view of Lake Kawaguchi. The staff were all kind, and the meals were delicious. We could even admire Mt. Fuji from the bath, making it a truly relaxing experience with wonderful scenery, food, and baths to enjoy.

    The building, rooms, and hallways are all impeccably clean. Despite the number of guests, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. There was no noise from other guests in the hallways. The room faced Lake Kawaguchi, and the view from the spacious balcony was breathtaking—you could gaze at it for hours. Additionally, the view of Mount Fuji from the rooftop footbath is stunning and offers a luxurious experience. Dinner was delicious enough, but I was particularly impressed by the breakfast buffet's quality and variety—it even included "Hoto" noodles. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about except that the bath facilities were just average—not bad but ordinary. However, there are complimentary massage chairs in the changing area as well as free ice pops available for guests to enjoy. One night felt too short; I definitely want to stay here again!

    The service and meals were excellent.

    We stayed for one night as a couple in our 30s and had a wonderful experience. The services provided before check-in and after check-out were excellent, and the meals were incredibly delicious. You can enjoy dishes that reflect the chef's dedication not only at dinner but also at the breakfast buffet. It would have been even better if we could have been asked about the portion of rice for dinner (considering recent rice price increases, we feel hesitant to leave any uneaten. Some couples may find one pot of rice sufficient for two people instead of one per person, so it might be helpful to ask during dinner time arrangements). The view of Mt. Fuji from our room was breathtaking! We could also see it clearly from the bath in our room, making the morning bath especially delightful. This was an accommodation we would love to stay at again when visiting Lake Kawaguchi. We look forward to enjoying the chef's cuisine again!

    Very satisfied.

    We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. The room was very clean and we were extremely satisfied. We could see Lake Kawaguchi from the room, and with a balcony, we were able to relax. Although Mount Fuji wasn't visible from the room, it was beautifully visible from the footbath and large public bath on the 8th floor. The baths and changing rooms were spacious, and since it was a weekday, they weren't crowded, which was great. The in-room dinner had excellent portions and taste. The breakfast buffet catered to adults with Japanese, Western, and Chinese options; the variety of dishes was also impressive. Choosing this highly-rated accommodation turned out to be an excellent decision!

    It was a nice Stays.

    It is conveniently located in front of Lake Kawaguchi, making it ideal for sightseeing. I imagined it to be a purely Japanese-style Stays, but it has been renovated into a modern Japanese style, and it was clean and comfortable. There is a foot bath on the rooftop, offering a location where you can enjoy both Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji. The Onsen is lukewarm in both the large public bath and the open-air bath in the Room, but the large public bath has a sauna to compensate for the cold. For dinner, we chose a Plan with in-room dining. Since it was New Year's, we had a Japanese-style New Year's feast, which was perfectly seasoned and delicious, but the course was too much to finish. Breakfast was served at the buffet venue. Although the variety seemed limited, it was a safe choice of Japanese and Western dishes. The buffet table was large, and the spacing was wide, so we could enjoy our meal without any congestion or queues. What caught my eye during the stay were the items for small children, such as toilet seats, bath chairs, and tableware. They were well-prepared, so families with babies can stay with peace of mind. Overall, it was a satisfying Property, but if I may say, I would be happy if they could consider the checkout time and the installation of towels in the large public bath.
