Everything was five-star!
I love villa-type accommodations with an onsen and have stayed at many, but this one was No.1. Heartfelt hospitality, perfectly timed dishes, and a comfortable and relaxing room. The recommended champagne was also very delicious. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you very much!

The sea and Mount Fuji are breathtaking.
We live in Saitama, a landlocked prefecture where we cannot see Mt. Fuji due to its location, which makes us love the sea and Mt. Fuji even more. The view of Suruga Bay with Mt. Fuji in the background was absolutely stunning. We were completely satisfied with the food, Room, and service. We would love to visit again!

This is a highly recommended Ryokan.
The scenery allowed us to enjoy Mount Fuji, the sunset, and the starry sky. The meals were particularly delicious, especially the sashimi, steak, and crab porridge. We could stretch our legs and relax in the Onsen. All of the staff were dedicated and provided pleasant service. This is a Ryokan I can recommend.

I used it to celebrate my husband's birthday!
I usually stay at an onsen property in winter, but this time I made a reservation here for the first time! Since it's adults-only, it wasn't overly noisy and I was able to spend my time very comfortably. The semi-open-air bath allows you to step out onto the terrace with just one door, so when it got too hot in the bath, I would go out onto the terrace to cool down. It was truly amazing. Mount Fuji was beautiful and at night the starry sky was perfect; I didn't want to leave. As soon as we arrived, the staff rushed over to help with our luggage and during check-in waiting time we were surprised with welcome drinks and desserts. The hospitality was truly wonderful. Every meal was delicious; I was impressed. The proprietress went around each table to greet us; she was a lovely person!! In any case, everything about this property is excellent and it's definitely a place you should stay at. I'll absolutely be back again!!

I was able to relax.
The scenery and the facility were wonderful, and I was able to spend my time comfortably! It was a small property, and the quality of the guests was good, which also contributed to a pleasant stay. The meals were delicious and served at the right timing. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again.

I am satisfied.
The Room was "Hohoemi." Check-out was challenging due to the many stairs, which made it tough with a carry-on case. Additionally, there was a lattice wall near the bedside, and the bright emergency light at the entrance required some creativity to block out using a yukata for sleeping. However, overall, the place was clean, service was excellent, and during dinner, even the hostess came by to greet us. It turned out to be a heartwarming and satisfying trip for us as a couple.

A retreat accommodation to fully enjoy meals and Mount Fuji.
An accommodation where you can enjoy a private stay for your special trip, offering a nearly exclusive space from check-in to check-out. The room's open-air bath provides breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji, allowing you to fully relax before and after dinner or breakfast. Dinner features a course menu with rich dashi broth, local vegetables, fresh seafood, and premium Wagyu beef—enjoyed leisurely over two and a half hours of satisfaction. For breakfast, we opted for the Western-style meal after much deliberation and were equally satisfied; however, next time we’d love to try the Japanese-style option as well. From the warm welcome to the farewell send-off, the staff provided attentive yet unobtrusive service that made our stay truly pleasant. When should we plan our next visit?

It was a wonderful t...
It was a wonderful trip with a very quiet atmosphere, views of Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji, and a sky full of stars at night. The heated flooring extended even to the sink area, which was a great point! The highlight was the incredibly delicious meals that left us deeply impressed. Service, ambiance, food, bath, and room—everything was excellent. However, I deducted one star due to the noticeable smell from what seemed like drainage in the garden and bath area.

First-time use
This time, I stayed at this property for two nights. Overall, it was a good property, but I remember there were a few areas for improvement. The first disappointment was that the sink did not drain properly, causing water to accumulate quickly. The second was that there were places where the wallpaper in the changing room was peeling off. Aside from those issues, the attentiveness of the property staff, as well as the meals and services, were satisfactory. I would like to visit this property again if I have the opportunity.

I want to visit again!
The property and room were very clean, and both the cypress open-air bath and room were spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The meals were incredibly delicious and impressive! They were also visually enjoyable! The staff were very polite and easy to talk to, which was great. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very good, so it was a shame not to be able to see Mt. Fuji. Nevertheless, it was a very satisfying stay!

A view of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay that can only be seen from here.
It was a trip to West Izu, enjoying one night at Shuzenji Onsen and one night at Toi Onsen after traveling to Mishima by Shinkansen. Despite the cloudy skies and occasional rain, we traveled from Shuzenji to Toi and then to Fujimien Station, the 61st stop, by local bus. The coastal scenery overlooking Suruga Bay was breathtaking. We were moved by the sense of relief upon arrival, the thoughtfulness of the staff who welcomed us, and the luxury of the upgraded room. Dinner featured seafood, black Wagyu beef, and dishes with fragrant dashi. The seafood hot pot was particularly outstanding. Although we couldn't see the starry sky due to the drizzling rain at night, the next morning, the view from the room's terrace and the open-air bath was stunning, with Mount Fuji clearly and vividly merging with Suruga Bay.

Not worth the amount paid.
I was looking forward to it, but it was a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, I had to roll my suitcase from the parking lot to the front desk (normally, you would wait or a cart would be provided). After completing the check-in process at the front desk, I was shown to my room, rolling my suitcase all the way there. After receiving an explanation of the facilities, the staff left the room, leaving my wife and me feeling let down. During the dinner we had been looking forward to, midway through the menu, a sorbet was served as a palate cleanser. To my surprise, while my wife's portion was normal, mine was only about a spoonful. The food itself was delicious, but the hospitality was lacking. At breakfast, there were several side dishes like seaweed and tsukudani in a long, narrow dish with dividers, but there was no main dish. Rice and miso soup were served, and that was it. There was no explanation from the staff, so we started eating. After about 15 to 20 minutes, having finished everything, warm tea was served. While drinking it, to my surprise, grilled fish was brought out. With no rice left, I had to eat the fish on its own. After finishing, there was a long wait before dessert arrived. I usually don't complain, but the hospitality was so poor that it felt like being in a foreign hotel. More than anything, having paid 190,000 yen for this stay, I am very disappointed. I will not be going back.
