    The view from the Room is amazing.

    I was very satisfied to be able to watch the sunset from my Room. This time I used it for day use, but next time I would like to stay overnight.

    The view from the Room was great, and we could even see the tides. It was quiet and relaxing. The large public bath was described as an Onsen, but it didn’t really feel like one, which was disappointing. There were so many kinds of dishes that we couldn’t finish them all, and everything was delicious. If we have the chance, we’d like to visit again.

    The club lounge was excellent.

    Hotel Mikazuki is well-known from TV commercials and the like, and I had avoided it because I assumed the meals and large public bath would just be crowded. However, I heard great reviews about the Club Lounge Room, so I decided to give it a try. As a result, the Club Lounge Facility and services were excellent, and I had a truly comfortable stay. Since it was peak season, I skipped the spa and focused on spending time in the lounge. When we arrived by car, we were guided to parking near the entrance. The lounge is open 24 hours with alcoholic drinks available, plus frozen bread so you never go hungry. The afternoon tea sweets were incredibly delicious. Dinner buffet time was very crowded, but we were taken to priority seating with no waiting at all. We even received souvenirs on departure—overall, I was completely satisfied with everything about the lounge. We also stopped by Festival Land on our way out; it was nice that crane games cost a reasonable 100 yen per play. To be honest, I only noticed the Onsen information when I rechecked the website the day before. Since this was an announcement from the Accommodation side, I feel a brief advance note by email would have been helpful. In any case, there were extremely strong winds and it was impossible to use the rooftop open-air bath; even if you tried, you’d have to stay behind something because it felt like being blasted sideways like a shower. I didn’t expect to be this satisfied even without using what is probably their main attraction—the Onsen or spa. This was thanks to the wonderful hospitality of everyone at the Club Lounge. I also thought fireworks might not happen for us either, but unexpectedly we could see them quite close from our Room, which made for another great experience. Next time, I’d love to visit during a less busy period and fully enjoy both the spa and lounge!

    This is an excellent Hotel.

    This was one of the top three Hotels I’ve ever stayed at in terms of overall satisfaction. However, it was extremely disappointing that the Onsen was not actually an Onsen due to a malfunction in the filtration system. In our family, it has become a running joke that the Hotel’s “Onsen” was basically bath additive (like Bathclin). My second son even gets teased—when he gets into a bath with Bathclin at home, people say, “Is this Mikazuki?” You should have informed guests before arrival that it had broken down and would not be an Onsen. Please have it repaired by next time. Normally, I think you should offer some form of compensation for next time—such as a service voucher or a special dish during meals. If it had been an Onsen as advertised, my satisfaction would have been perfect.

    Onsen temporarily unavailable...

    This was our first stay. My spouse and I take Onsen trips about twice a month, so it was very disappointing that the baths were not Onsen. Our Room had an ocean view, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t great… Still, the semi-open-air bath in the Room was wonderful. Since it is originally heated water, we were able to enjoy it with bath salts. The buffet and the variety of alcoholic drinks were also great. We also used only the baths in the spa building; there is an open-air bath as well, and we would have enjoyed it even more if the weather had been better. We stayed at a very good price thanks to a sale, so we were satisfied in terms of value. Because the weather wasn’t ideal, once the Onsen supply returns (it seems it still hasn’t resumed even more than a month after our visit…), we’d like to come back for another try.

    A Hotel the kids love most!

    We stayed during the Golden Week holidays, and it cost under 60,000 yen for one adult and two elementary school children. My kids used to say that a certain Hotel—with ocean fishing, a pool, an arcade, and a buffet-style meal—was the best, but they said this Hotel was the first one to surpass it. Since it’s a Hotel that’s been around since I was little, I honestly didn’t expect that much. But after reading everyone’s Reviews and thinking my kids would enjoy it, we decided to stay. The meals were excellent—there was crab, alcohol options, and even Häagen-Dazs ice cream. We stayed in a standard Room and it was comfortable, though I did wish it were a bit more spacious. (I suppose upgrading the Room would solve that...) The view from the balcony was amazing! Just after 4:00 a.m., we watched the moon set into the sea. When we stepped out to the corridor side, we could see the sunrise—it was well worth waking up early! We then went straight to the morning bath, where Mt. Fuji was clearly visible too—I’m so glad we came! It was disappointing that it wasn’t an Onsen... The amenities were well stocked overall, but there wasn’t a basic hair tie/elastic band—having one would have been nice. The next morning we visited what looked like a zoo right in front of us. Even though it’s small, there were lots of different animals and we enjoyed about an hour there! We’d love to come again!

    The Room is new and very convenient to use.

    The soundproofing was excellent; even though the Room was in front of the elevator, noise was not an issue. The Room amenities were high quality and very nice. Dinner was disappointing despite my expectations—the crab had little substance, and the sashimi was cut into small pieces. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much else that stood out as delicious. Breakfast omelet was tasty. It was a wonderful surprise to be able to see fireworks from the Room. Overall, it was a very good Facility aside from the meals. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Be sure to enjoy our live kitchen, where freshly prepared dishes are at their best—our buffet is sure to delight.

    The oceanfront lobby offers complimentary drinks, plus everyone’s favorites—biscuits, gummies, and chocolate. The cute Calpis is fun for adults too. My companion loved the buffet. Since they like the Momiji Onsen in the large public bath, they visit often and raved that it was “way better than the buffet at a Karuizawa ○○○○ Hotel.” For me, the live-kitchen steak is the top pick: delicious fat, perfectly rare doneness, and the gravy sauce with fried garlic and horseradish makes it even better. The tempura and grilled scallops were also great. The clam ramen was popular too. Another person enjoyed mixing the free-flow liqueurs with milk. “To enjoy everything, you need to stay two nights,” we both said. The fireworks were easy to see up close, with many different types—much better than we expected. We made a Reservation because of the promise of a Mt. Fuji view from our Room. Unfortunately it was cloudy, but we could still see Yokohama and even Tokyo Skytree beyond the Aqua-Line. Because of an issue with the large public bath(?), we learned from a notice that it wasn’t Onsen water. Next time when it’s back to Onsen again, we’d love to return—and hopefully enjoy that Mt. Fuji view then!

    Second stay—satisfied across the board.

    I stayed here to visit the outlet mall. However, it was a bit disappointing that the Onsen was out of order that day. Unlike my stay last year, I was surprised to find draft beer available as a welcome drink. I was also disappointed that the complimentary extra dish at dinner had been discontinued. As before, the 90-minute dinner time limit makes it hard to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace; I feel 100 minutes would make a difference.

    Large Hotel for Families

    When I think of Hotel Mikazuki, I remember what happened during the COVID-19 pandemic. I never stayed there at the time, but I had always hoped to visit someday. The Room was spacious and comfortable with an ocean view. We could watch the sunset and planes flying by, which was a nice touch. I can see they are making efforts and trying different ideas with the meals, but there were simply too many children, and the layout felt cluttered, making it hard to choose food. The quality was also just so-so. The steak, for example, was cut into small pieces rather roughly, which made it look unappealing and felt like a waste of good meat. On the positive side, there was a wide selection of alcohol. I already knew about the Onsen in advance, so it was disappointing that I couldn’t fully enjoy it; however, the regular bath (not an in-room Onsen) was sufficient for me. I accidentally left something behind when checking out, and I really appreciate how politely and carefully you handled it—thank you very much. This time we paid about half price thanks to Earn Points and campaigns, so it felt acceptable; however, at the regular price I don’t think I would have been satisfied—especially with the meals. If things improve in some way in the future, I would consider staying again.

    The food is delicious!!

    We’ve stayed at several all-inclusive Accommodations recently, and we were truly impressed by the cuisine at Ryugujo Mikazuki Fujimitei. The dishes made great use of local Chiba ingredients and were delicious. There was also a wide selection of drinks—beer, wine, and sake—and our family of five adults felt very satisfied and happy. The staff’s hospitality was excellent as well. Inside the building, guests are asked to use the Room slippers, but they were too large for women and caused us to lean forward; this could be especially dangerous for anyone with mobility issues, so I think they should be changed. We used the slippers on the balcony instead. The balcony slippers fit securely and feel safer. It seems we happened to be there on a day when fireworks were scheduled, and watching them sparkle in the night sky from our Room made us feel like kids again—it was so much fun. We’re very grateful for such a wonderful experience. It also made us want to visit Mikazuki in Vietnam too.

    It’s a shame there’s no Onsen.

    This was my first stay in 20 years. First of all, I was very disappointed to learn at the front desk that the Onsen had been shut down due to equipment issues. If I had known, I would have changed my dates even if it meant paying a Cancellation Fee, so an advance notice would have been appreciated. The meals were excellent in both quantity and taste. Dinner was almost private, which felt reassuring even with children. Also, the international staff served the dishes accurately and efficiently, and we really appreciated the comfortable pacing of the meal. To get to the pool, you have to go down stairs from the women’s changing room, and going down wet stairs in a swimsuit while accompanying children felt unsafe.

    The views are spectacular.

    As we were traveling with an elderly person, thank you for arranging a wheelchair rental and preparing a Room near the elevator. Overall, we were satisfied with both the bath and the meals. One thing that concerned us was the smell in the restroom (perhaps from an air freshener?), which was strong enough to notice even outside the restroom. It’s close to Tokyo and we can enjoy the scenery, so we would like to stay again.

    The food and setting are unbelievably good for this price.

    Four adults stayed at Fujimitei. It was my fault for not researching properly. I underestimated listings on IKYU. We paid nearly 230,000 yen for one night for four people, and it was terrible. Too many steps in the Room, and it was far too small. Worst of all was the dining area: noisy, bad food, and dirty. Checkout is a fixed 10:00 a.m., and the elevator just wouldn’t come. It was an awful experience. We threw our money away. You really need to research carefully before booking.

    We’re glad we had availability.

    Weekday stay. Overall, it felt more like an old-established place—or perhaps just showing its age. If it’s truly focused on families, I can accept that, but considering that, the Accommodation still felt a bit pricey. Since it was quiet overall right after spring break on weekdays, we enjoyed it well enough. However, staying two nights and having the exact same buffet both days was a letdown. Next time, if there are places nearby where we can eat out, we might do that instead.

    We were disappointed that we were not informed at all that the Onsen was unavailable.

    When considering a stay in Kisarazu, we chose this Hotel because it had an Onsen. However, we were surprised to be told at check-in on the day that the Onsen Facility was out of order and unavailable (we were told the breakdown occurred after our Reservation was changed). When we mentioned that we had not been notified in advance by email or otherwise, we were told, “We posted about it on social media...”. It’s difficult for guests to proactively check an Accommodation’s social media constantly. We felt it was dishonest not to contact us directly. In addition, our request for room setup (such as a child’s bed) that we had emailed in advance did not seem to have been communicated at all, so we had to explain again on the day and have it arranged then. Overall, the follow-up response also felt lacking, and we are left dissatisfied. We likely will not use this Hotel again. Thank you.

    It was the best stay experience.

    The ocean-view Room was wonderful, and the view from the semi-open-air bath in the Room made it even better. The Room was clean, easy to use, and spacious—we were able to relax comfortably with four adults. The amenities didn’t feel cheap at all; they were excellent. The beds were roomy, and the mattress under the futon laid out in the Japanese-style room was very comfortable. We were also very satisfied with the buffet meals. There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. There were many international staff members in the restaurant, but everyone provided truly pleasant service. The club lounge was the best I’ve experienced among all the Hotels I’ve stayed at, so next time I definitely plan to make a Reservation for a Room that includes access again. Until 10:00 p.m., attentive staff provide excellent service; after that, you can enter 24 hours using a password and help yourself to drinks (including alcohol), snacks, and bread. Parking spaces are secured in a convenient area for guests staying overnight, which felt reassuring. I travel to many places, but this Hotel is top-rated overall for me. Even looking at it critically—Facility features, location, staff, food—I had absolutely no complaints. It’s a Hotel that makes you want to come back again soon—and I’m actually trying to make another Reservation now.

    Our family trip with our 13-month-old daughter was wonderful—we were very satisfied!

    This was our first trip as a family of three with our 13-month-old daughter, and we chose this place because it’s only about an hour’s drive from central Tokyo. With a buffet, a Japanese-Western style Room, and an in-room bath, it was perfect for traveling with a child. Thanks to an IKYU sale, we stayed Friday and Saturday for just over JPY 20,000 per person per night—excellent quality for the price. We stayed at Fujimitei. We arrived early and were able to use the on-site pool free of charge. It was our daughter’s first time in a pool and she had a great time. (Swim diapers were available at the shop for around JPY 600 with plenty in stock, so no worries. We could also buy a float there, and since the pool is heated she enjoyed it without crying.) After the pool we checked in, took a short break, then went to the dinner buffet from 5:00 PM. There were kid-friendly options like bananas, French fries, cherry tomatoes, rice, and rolled omelet (tamagoyaki), which was reassuring. She didn’t eat much that day at first, but they also provided baby food and she ended up eating well. There were plenty of dishes that adults could enjoy too. After that we bathed our daughter in the Room. They provide cleansing oil and face wash as well; however, it’s better to bring children’s moisturizer and soap. (At Ryugujo baths they did have baby soap.) The Room didn’t have anything our daughter might knock over or break easily, so we felt comfortable letting her move around. (If the door between the entrance area and the Room could be locked it would feel even safer so she couldn’t wander toward the entrance on her own.) The next morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the large public bath. Since our daughter wakes up early anyway, we were able to relax right up until checkout at 10:00 AM. When she gets older I think there will be even more ways to enjoy Ryugujo—like the arcade game center, fishing pond area,, pool,, shooting gallery—and I’d love to come back again.

    Family-friendly Hotel

    We visited as a couple, but there were more families and children than we expected, so it felt quite busy throughout. The food was delicious, but the atmosphere stayed lively the whole time. Drinks were free-flow, so you could have as much as you liked. Unfortunately, due to timing we couldn’t use the Onsen, but the panoramic bath was great. The Room had just been renovated and was very clean and comfortable.

    Excellent hospitality

    This was our fifth stay. The pool changing rooms and other facilities are kept extremely clean, and we truly appreciate the thoughtful services provided throughout the property. In the changing room, for example, there was a play pen set up for toddlers who are just starting to walk, which made me feel that the staff sincerely listen to guests’ feedback and implement improvements right away. The Room also has an amazing location, and the amenities are more than sufficient. We happened to forget my daughters’ hair ties this time, so I thought it would be nice if there were some in the bath area—but that may be asking too much. All of the staff greet you with a smile when you pass by. At breakfast, I mistakenly asked them to clear our tray with my child’s orthodontic appliance still on it and panicked a bit, but once I spoke to a staff member they coordinated immediately and even offered a polite apology (it was entirely our mistake). Our child was able to enjoy their favorite things without any stress, and the hospitality is outstanding—we would love to make this our family’s regular Accommodation! Thank you very much.

    I’ve stayed here many times.

    My elementary school-aged son loves this place, and we’ve stayed here many times. This time, it was disappointing that the futon wasn’t laid out while we were at dinner. After waiting for a while, I called the front desk and they came right away, but it happened at a time when we wanted to relax after our meal, so that was the only downside. My son enjoys the meals, the pool, the Onsen, and the festival plaza. And I look forward to the body scrub and massage in the large public bath every time.

    Shockingly… it’s not worth the price.

    We stayed as a family of three on the last weekend of spring break. With the regular rate at 200,000 yen per night (about 140,000 yen with a discount), we had high expectations, but compared with Mikazuki Awa-Kamogawa, which we visited around the same time last year with the same number of guests at about 50,000 yen per night, the quality here was similar or even worse. What really bothered us was that after the bath we tried to buy tea from a vending machine, but it was sold out. About half of the items—including water—were sold out. We assumed they would be restocked, but nothing changed until checkout. The vending machines on each floor were the same. The alcohol vending machine didn’t accept old banknotes or the new 500-yen coins. Of course there was no contactless payment either—if that’s the case, they should at least provide a change machine. Even though we checked in after 3:00 p.m., breakfast only had one available time slot (7:00), so we skipped it. Maybe that’s unavoidable for such a large Hotel. The good points were the view from our Room and the baths. We had to line up before entering for dinner, but the food was decent. The staff working at this Hotel were doing their best and were pleasant. Overall, it simply wasn’t worth the price.

    A long-awaited Mikazuki

    Our family of three generations stayed here. We checked in early and had lunch at a Japanese restaurant in Festival Land, but the prices were on the high side. It seemed one item we ordered was forgotten, yet the bill arrived even though it hadn’t been served. They apologized, but said, “We’re making them in order.” Meanwhile, the others who ordered with us had already finished eating. Since it was spring break season, the pool was extremely crowded. The stairs from the women’s changing room to the pool were slippery and felt dangerous. Still, the kids really enjoyed it. Because we completed pre-check-in in advance, we only needed to pick up the key at 3:00 PM and could enter our Room smoothly. The Hotel felt very clean, and everything—from the view to the amenities—was excellent and comfortable. The fireworks seen from our Room were powerful and beautiful! Meals were buffet-style with a wide variety; highlights included tender simmered abalone, crab, steak, sushi, and more. With such a large crowd there were many lines and it felt rushed—I wish there had been two hours. I’d wanted to visit for a long time, so it became a wonderful memory.

    The morning buffet offered a wide variety of options, and our whole family enjoyed the meal. Since four of us stayed in the Room, we were able to gather and have a great time together. With fireworks displays, a pool, and a large public bath, we could enjoy ourselves within the Hotel, making it a wonderful holiday.

    I’m a repeat guest and very satisfied.

    We visited again around the same time as last year. It was a three-generation trip, and it’s great that our young grandchildren can enjoy so many activities all in one place. We also enjoyed the newly added strawberry picking. This time we chose a Plan with meals at the dining venue, and it was nice to relax and take our time. It happened to be our granddaughter’s birthday, and the staff sang “Happy Birthday” while playing the ukulele. The guests at other tables also applauded, which made her—experiencing this for the first time—look truly delighted.

    Fun for three generations of the family

    Perfect for a trip with my grandchild—great even on a rainy day. Even when traveling by train, there was a Shuttle Service, and they also provided a Shuttle Service from the Hotel to the spa, which made us feel at ease. The pools were warm both indoors and outdoors, so we arrived early and played for hours. We also enjoyed the neighboring festival plaza together as a family with activities like shooting games and table tennis. It was an all-female group except for my 7-year-old grandson. Since the changing room on the first floor was for men while the women’s was on the third floor, I worried about meeting up at the pool entrance, but we managed it and felt relieved. It was our first time at Fujimitei, and both the lobby and hallways were spacious. Our ocean-view Room was large and comfortable. The semi-open-air bath felt wonderfully open, and it also had a washing area, so we could relax in it with the kids. The fireworks bursting right in front of us from the balcony were truly spectacular. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both lavish—crab, steak, sushi, seafood bowls—and the kids loved Häagen-Dazs ice cream and donuts. Everyone was very satisfied. Before heading home we played again at the festival plaza, then took the Shuttle Service to the station to start our journey back. It became a great memory—we’d love to come again. A few disappointing points: The women’s changing room is on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs down to the pool The sink in our Room looked stylish, but I couldn’t adjust the water flow well; it splashed several times and got my clothes wet At dinner there were very long lines at times, so some freshly made items had cooled by the time we ate them In the morning, some station-bound Shuttle Service buses did not stop at the festival plaza; we had to go via Ryugutei instead On that day it wasn’t an Onsen I hope these areas will be improved so future stays can be even more comfortable.     Very satisfied

    The all-you-can-eat food and unlimited alcoholic drinks were very satisfying. The spa and pool were also great. My child went into an area where they couldn’t touch the bottom and almost drowned, but the staff helped immediately, and thankfully it didn’t become serious. We would like to visit again.

    Family Trip

    We visited the Hotel the day after staying at the Disneyland Hotel to help our children remember their late mother, but right after check-in we were told that the Onsen was out of order. I understand that these things happen, but these days it’s unacceptable not to notify guests in advance. If we had been informed beforehand, we could have canceled or changed the date. After telling us only that, the front desk simply handed us a map of the facilities and our key, and that was it. It felt like staff training at reception was lacking. At dinner buffet time, it was extremely crowded. Even though we were seated far from the food, there weren’t enough carts to carry dishes back to our table. With a time limit in place, we had to wait for a cart to become available, and no one seemed to care. The food itself was delicious, which made it even more disappointing. Breakfast buffet was similar—we were again placed in a corner with no consideration given, and it was crowded again in the morning. We didn’t have much time; when we returned with our food we were told “It ends in 15 minutes,” with an attitude that felt like “Hurry up and leave—we can’t finish cleaning otherwise.” We could barely eat anything and ended up stopping at a convenience store after leaving the Hotel to buy breakfast again. Travel is supposed to be a chance to forget everyday life and enjoy a luxurious time through meals and bathing facilities, so this experience was truly disappointing. At this point, we would have been better off staying two nights at the Disneyland Hotel for nearly the same price. Are all hotels in the Mikazuki Group like this?
