    So Much Fun in the Pool

    We had a wonderful time as a family. Thank you so much. We’d love to visit again—definitely. P.S. It was our two dogs’ first time in the pool. They were such terrible swimmers that we couldn’t stop laughing.

    Wonderful Hotel

    The surroundings were wonderful, and this has become a Hotel we’d love to stay at again. The walking paths were lovely, and our dog looked like they really enjoyed the walks. There’s also an animal hospital nearby, which was reassuring. We’ll be back. It rained on the day we left this time, so next time we hope to visit when it’s sunny… There also seem to be some great shops nearby, so we’d like to explore them.

    We had a very comfortable stay.

    Because our trip was canceled due to a typhoon, we quickly switched to a one-night stay here. The Room and the entire property were very clean and well maintained, so we had a comfortable stay. Morning walks and using the dog run were also enjoyable. Breakfast was bread only, but we would be even happier if rice were available as an option. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Everything was very delicious.

    We stayed with our dog and a family of four. With four adults plus our dog, the Room felt a bit small. Since we ate at the restaurant, we only used the Room for sleeping, so it wasn’t an issue. The meals were very delicious—French course cuisine—and we could also choose the main dish. We were also able to request a meal for our dog at check-in, which was great. At the restaurant, when one dog barked, others would join in too, making it a very fun dining experience. We would have been happy to have a large public bath, but the in-Room bath was spacious enough. There were dog foot-washing stations at every entrance inside the property, which we really appreciated. The morning walk was also very pleasant. The staff were kind and helpful as well. We felt that everyone truly loves dogs.

    This was my first stay. I stayed in a twin Room on the second floor, and it was very clean and comfortable. The view from the terrace was great, and it’s in a convenient location where you can quickly head out for a walk with your dog to the Mikage Irrigation Canal. There is also a dog run, and they have all the basic pet amenities provided. The meals were delicious as well, and I appreciated being able to dine together with my dog. The staff were very courteous, too, and I’d like to visit again. However, for smokers, it was disappointing that the smoking area requires walking over to the side of the parking lot and has no roof—just an outdoor ashtray—and that the second-floor smoking area does not allow regular cigarettes.

    The microwave in the Room is excellent.

    Many places offer a No Meals Included Plan, but having a microwave right in the Room is amazing even though it’s often shared elsewhere. It also makes it easy to bring food that needs reheating. The refrigerator is large too, which is really appreciated for guests on a dinner-not-included plan. There’s no large public bath, so it’s an in-room bath, but I was happy to find stylish herbal bath salts. The terrace of the second-floor Room was nicely cleaned, so I stepped out for a bit—and the hammock was so unusual that I had to try it (laugh).

    Wonderful attention to detail

    We stayed at Regina Resort Kyu-Karuizawa on our previous trip and loved it, so this time we chose the Accommodation near Mikage Canal. We traveled with two adults, two dogs, and one infant, and thanks to the staff’s thoughtful care, we had a very comfortable stay. At dinner, we were quite busy feeding the dogs and giving our baby weaning food. The staff noticed and kindly suggested that combining the tables into one might make things easier for breakfast the next morning. We were truly impressed by such attentive consideration. The food was also excellent. I still can’t forget how delicious the homemade bacon in the breakfast risotto was—I would have bought some to take home if it had been for sale! Thank you so much to all the staff for being so kind to both our dogs and our child. We would love to stay here again when we visit Karuizawa.

    I have visited Karui...

    I have visited Karuizawa many times, but this was my first stay here. I had been interested for a long time after seeing it featured on a celebrity’s Instagram. The location and setting are excellent, and I especially liked being able to go for a walk directly from the Room. The staff were also very friendly to our dog, and our dog seemed very relaxed. We were also able to interact with other guests’ dogs, which was irresistible for dog lovers like us. And the food was outstanding. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. Also, perhaps due to unusual weather, it was very warm for February—almost like spring. Mt. Asama was beautiful as well, and we were able to enjoy the view. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Thank you for your kind hospitality, including the Shuttle Service. Everyone provided warm and attentive service. The Facility was clean, beautifully designed with a simple and tasteful touch, making it very comfortable. The Halloween decorations were adorable and perfect for taking photos. Another positive point was the lack of noise from outside. If I may point out one thing, the screen door was a bit shaky and difficult to open and close. Also, I couldn't help but wish this place had an Onsen. If it did, like in Old Karuizawa, I would definitely visit multiple times a year—it's the only thing that felt missing!

    It was my first time staying, and I was very satisfied with how clean it was!

    It was my first time staying at Regina Resort. I have a sensitive sense of smell, but there was no dog odor at all, and it was a very clean and comfortable Hotel. The bath was spacious, and the food was delicious. I was also very happy that the staff called my dog's name. I would love to try another Hotel as well. Thank you very much!

    Once again, I had a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the wine selection during dinner, which was both helpful and educational. This Hotel is truly wonderful for families with beloved dogs.

    The atmosphere was excellent.

    Overall, it was very good. The meals were served warm when they should be warm and cold when they should be cold, and the taste was excellent. Our beloved dog also seemed very satisfied.

    Travel with Your Beloved Dog

    Thank you for your hospitality the other day. This time, I had to make a sudden trip to Karuizawa with my dog and found and made a Reservation through IKYU. I chose a Room on the second floor with a terrace. The Room was spacious enough, and I had a pleasant stay. One of the reasons I chose the second floor was because the bathroom faced the terrace, allowing me to enjoy the outdoor view. It was my first experience dining at a restaurant with my dog, but since my dog stayed quietly in the cart, I could enjoy my meal at ease. All other dogs at different tables were also well-behaved and adorable. I am grateful to Regina Resort for creating such a pet-friendly Hotel. I look forward to using various Regina Resorts in the future. Thank you very much. July 3, 2025

    It was a dog-friendly Hotel!

    We chose a room with a private dog run, and right outside the dog run, there was a wonderful walking course that our dog absolutely loved! Meals can be enjoyed together with your dog, making it very dog-friendly. The staff even remembered our dog's name, and we were extremely satisfied with their service! We ended up becoming members of Regina Resort!

    Excellent

    The service is pleasant. The Facility and Room are so clean that it doesn't feel like a pet-friendly Hotel. The food is delicious. Overall, it's an excellent Hotel. I would love to stay at other Reginna Facilities as well.

    Stay with Your Furry Friend

    I was completely satisfied with the private dog run, indoor facilities, spaciousness, and amenities. The natural surroundings around the Hotel were beautiful, and I decided to register as a member because I would like to visit again several times.     This was my first time staying at Regina Resort.

    We stayed at Karuizawa Mikage Yosui and found it to be exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Pet-friendly facilities can sometimes fall short in this regard, but this was not the case here—it was excellent. We look forward to visiting other Regina Resorts in the future. Thank you very much!

    No. 1 Hotel to Stay with Your Beloved Dog!

    I have stayed at various accommodations with my beloved dog in the past, but this was the best! I was very satisfied with the quality of the meals, the cleanliness of the room, and its stylishness. The staff were kind and friendly, and even though both my dog and I are a bit shy around people, we had a great time. If I may make one suggestion, as a family that loves rice, it would be perfect if we could choose between bread or rice for breakfast. We will visit again in summer. Thank you in advance!

    The staff are very kind and treat dogs with care. The Facility is clean and pleasant with no unpleasant odors, and Mikage Canal offers the perfect location for a walking path.

    Recommended for dog lovers, but...

    The facility is relatively new, impeccably clean, and the service is excellent. The amenities are outstanding. You can dine with your beloved dog at the restaurant, which also offers a dedicated menu for pets. The bar allows you to enjoy cocktails with your dog as well—truly wonderful. However, a few points to consider: It would be nice if there were private open-air baths in the guest rooms. For those who usually sleep with their dogs, not being able to have them on the bed might feel lonely for both owners and pets. While the restaurant offers a great selection of alcohol, the cocktail menu at the bar feels limited and lacks professional bartenders. Breakfast starting at 8 AM is unusual; many other places start at 7 AM. Still, I think this is an amazing hotel overall!

    It was excellent!

    We stayed with two adults, a 1.5-year-old child, and one corgi. A few days before our stay, we received a confirmation call to go over the details. During the call, they kindly adjusted the meal portion for our child since it was too much for a 1.5-year-old and even gave us a discount on the price. Additionally, although the beds are usually separated, they arranged them together for us and added guards to ensure safety. The service and attention to detail were perfect even before we arrived! When we got there, the room was lovely, and the terrace was so refreshing. The meals were absolutely delicious! The kid's plate included all of my son's favorite foods. Even though he's only 1.5 years old and tends to eat messily, they were so understanding and even praised him for finishing his meal—it made us feel so comfortable during our stay. Our dog had an amazing time running around in the dog park—it looked like he really enjoyed himself! This was our first trip traveling with our dog, so we were initially nervous but ended up having such a pleasant experience that we wished we could have stayed two more nights! We also became members of Regina Resort and are looking forward to visiting other Regina Resorts on future trips with our dog!

    Karuizawa is the best for traveling with dogs.

    We visited for our dog's 2nd birthday. It was quiet with a walking path along Mikage Yosui right in front, and it's close to Karuizawa, so you can enjoy both shopping and relaxation. The staff was kind, the room was clean with no dog smell at all, and the scenery was very beautiful. However, since there is no Onsen or large public bath, it's difficult to give five stars. It was the best facility for a hotel with a dog in Karuizawa. Thank you very much!

    It may be obvious, but I was happy that they called my beloved dog by name. The dog run was well-maintained, and above all, it was nice to be able to go down to Mikage Canal from the room for a walk. It's understandable that it's not an Onsen due to the location, but I would love to visit again.

    It was indeed great.

    This time, we decided to enjoy the autumn leaves with Croquette (Koro), spending the first night in Old Karuizawa and the second night at Mikage Yosui. It was the coldest time of the season, and the morning walk along Mikage Yosui allowed us to fully enjoy both the autumn leaves and the arrival of winter. Every time, the walk along this waterway is truly healing. We were very satisfied with the Hotel's Facility and the staff's service.

    As expected, Regina Mikage Yosui

    Second Stay As before, a room with a garden on the first floor. Free access from the garden, a walk along Mikage Yosui. The morning air was clear and the autumn leaves were beautiful. I appreciated that all the staff at the hotel were mindful of putting our dog first. It really is Regina. The room had no dog smell at all, and everything was satisfactory. The meals were also satisfying, although our princess was a bit too noisy. We were able to relax and enjoy the delicious food. I definitely want to use it again. Thank you very much.
