    Conveniently located near Nagoya Station.

    I stayed here for a live show at IG Arena. I thought getting from the Shinkansen platform to the Hotel might be difficult, but the official website had photo-guided directions, and by following them I got there without getting lost. Without that guide, I don’t think I would have made it. The Room was clean and the view was great. Amenities are available next to the front desk, where you pick up what you need. The bath and toilet are in the same unit, but since there is a large public bath, I used that instead. Being able to stretch my legs in the large public bath after the live show felt wonderful! Breakfast was also great—the Nagoya Cochin omelet was especially delicious. This is a Hotel I’d like to use again.

    Convenient Stay

    On my first stay here, I approached from street level from Nagoya Station using navigation and it felt closer than I expected. (On the way back, I used the underground passage directly connected to the station, but the route was complicated and crowded, which was stressful.) Taxis were also convenient, as you can get in and out right in front of the Hotel. This Hotel would probably fall into the “upper business” category that has been increasing recently; the Facility still feels new and is clean, and the staff are professional and kind. The Room is minimal yet well designed with a nice view—more than enough for a business trip—and before departure I enjoyed a generous breakfast combining a choice of main dish with a buffet. (I ate too much.) This time my stay was rushed, so if I have another chance, I’d like to visit again and take it easy.

    Since the washroom includes a toilet, we would like it to have a lockable door. Even for couples, noises and odors can be a concern.

    Convenient, but…

    I stayed here with my daughter during a three-day weekend for a dome event. The service and convenience were excellent, but since it was a busy season at this Hotel popular with women, the SPA (large public bath) showed “crowded” the entire time, so we ended up using the in-Room shower (ReFa), which felt like a bit of a waste. I also didn’t know that breakfast requires choosing one main dish, so I wish this had been clearly stated on the website and on IKYU as well. Also, with a Standard Double Room, the bed felt too small for two people, so we should have upgraded to a higher Room type. Amenities are self-service except for some Rooms, and basic skincare items are provided at the front desk upon request, so it’s best to bring your own cosmetics in particular. Overall, I felt that more detailed guidance would have been helpful.

    We had a very satisfying stay.

    All the staff were very pleasant. The Room was clean, and the large public bath was also clean, which was great. You can check how crowded the bath is on the TV monitor, and you can also check it via the QR code on that screen, but there was a slight discrepancy between the TV display and the QR code. (The TV showed “Not crowded,” but when checked via the QR code it showed “Slightly crowded.”) It’s a reasonable distance from the station, and it’s right after coming up to street level through the underground shopping area (Sun Road), so access is good. I’d like to stay here again next time I visit Nagoya.

    First Stay

    This was my first time staying here. I had wanted to stay for a while, but never had the chance until now, and I was finally able to do so. Check-in was via a self-service machine, but a staff member explained everything and it went smoothly. Thank you as well for your courteous guidance afterward. Whenever I went out or came back, the staff always greeted me, and I was impressed by how attentive they were. Thank you very much for arranging such a nice Room; thanks to that, I had a very comfortable stay. If I have another opportunity, I would be happy to stay again—thank you in advance.

    We had a wonderful time!

    With direct access to Nagoya Station, the location is ideal. The Hotel is new and the in-house Facility is well equipped, with great views from the guest rooms. The breakfast was also very satisfying. If I had to mention one drawback, the spa had only one bathtub, there were few washing areas, and there was no sauna. I will stay here again on my next business trip to Nagoya.

    The bath is…

    I stayed for one night. Breakfast was crowded with three parties waiting, so I had to wait a little, but the food was very delicious. One thing that concerned me was the large public bath. It was also crowded at night, and the trash bin in the bathing area was small and overflowing, which didn’t feel very pleasant. When I used it again in the morning, it seemed there hadn’t been any cleaning overnight—there was still trash in the bathing area, and even the bins in the changing room were overflowing, which was discouraging first thing in the morning. Everything else left a very good impression, so I wanted to leave this comment in hopes that it can be improved a little.

    Mitsui Garden Hotel offers great breakfast, so I always choose it when traveling or attending live events far away. It would have been even better if the Room had USB ports.

    It was a comfortable accommodation.

    A hotel with truly impressive hospitality. At check-in, the staff kindly asked, "Are you here for sightseeing?" and "Was everything okay with the snow?" which gave a sense of reassurance right upon arrival. When I broke a nail late at night and requested a nail clipper, they went out of their way to deliver a portable one to my room and even said, "You don't need to return it," showing great thoughtfulness. The room and bath were impeccably clean, allowing for a very pleasant stay throughout. At check-out, all the cleaning staff greeted us warmly with "Good morning" and "Have a nice day." If I had to mention one thing, having a sauna in the SPA would make it perfect; however, overall satisfaction was extremely high. This is an accommodation I highly recommend and would love to stay at again!

    The main dishes may take some time to be served.

    The breakfast system allows guests to choose a main dish, but it took some time for it to be served. This might be ideal for those who prefer a leisurely meal, but I found it less suitable as I was in a bit of a hurry. The buffet dishes were delicious and sufficient on their own, so I ended up feeling full before the main dish arrived.

    A perfectly suitable Hotel in Nagoya.

    Not too far from Nagoya Station on foot, the Room is not too small, and the price is reasonable (a bit high for a Business Hotel but fair as a mid-range option between a Business Hotel and a City Hotel). It’s just the right Hotel, so I use it 2-3 times a year when visiting Nagoya. Like many Hotels, there seems to be some struggle with cleaning and maintenance in areas like the bathroom due to staff shortages compared to before, but it’s not an issue.

    A Concert Trip and Short Getaway with My Daughter

    I chose Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premium because it is convenient for using the Meitetsu Line. The Room was located on the 19th floor or higher, offering an amazing view. The night view was absolutely stunning! Besides the Room, there was a large public bath available all night, which was fantastic. I could stretch my legs and relax at ease. For breakfast, we selected one main dish and enjoyed the rest in buffet style. We had hitsumabushi, and it was delicious. On the second day, we visited Atsuta Shrine and Inuyama Castle before returning home. It was a fulfilling short trip with my daughter—thank you to this wonderful Hotel!

    Conveniently located near the station

    Close to the station, and you can see Nagoya Castle illuminated at night. The Room felt a bit small, but it was comfortable. The public bath showed a "slightly crowded" status, so I decided to check it out, but about four people were standing in line waiting for the washing area (quite a comical sight). I decided not to use it. I wonder what criteria are used to display the crowd status?

    A Hotel Where You Can Enjoy Live Events with Peace of Mind

    I stayed here for a live event and was impressed by the warm hospitality and kind words from the staff, which made my stay very comfortable. When the hem of my pants came undone, they provided a sewing kit, and I was touched by their thoughtful service. The only regret was that my daughter couldn't use the public bath due to an issue with the card key not working, so she had to give up on bathing. Next time, I look forward to fully enjoying both the public bath and meals.

    Conveniently located near the station with a well-balanced offering.

    I was debating whether to return to Tokyo directly after visiting Wakayama and Mie or stay overnight to enjoy some delicious food, and I chose this Hotel. In addition to its convenient access from the station, the luxurious room provided a well-balanced experience. What helped me the most was the SPA (large public bath), which allowed me to refresh my body after sweating under the scorching sun. Since I enjoyed hitsumabushi, morning meals, and Misen outside, I didn’t dine at the Hotel, making a simple stay more than sufficient. This is a Hotel I would love to use again.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    Upon arriving at the front floor, I was soothed by the aroma of my choice and ended up purchasing it on the spot. The cleanliness was well-maintained, I enjoyed the night view from the Room, and there was a large public bath, allowing me to have a comfortable stay. If I may make one small request, it would be nice to have lotion or moisturizer available.

    It was comfortable!

    It was my first time in Nagoya city, so I searched for a hotel close to the station. I decided on this accommodation because the reviews were good! After staying, it was indeed as comfortable as the reviews said. The room was, of course, clean, the staff's service was polite, breakfast was delicious, the view from the room was great, and it’s close to the station with underground access from there. The showerhead is ReFa! If I stay in Nagoya again, I would definitely use this accommodation!

    Comfortable Hotel

    A Hotel conveniently located near Nagoya Station via an underground walkway. Clean and comfortable, with great views from the Room and a relaxing spa experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the option to choose a dish felt luxurious. I look forward to staying here again.

    Stayed at the accomm...

    Stayed at the accommodation during a trip back home. Had breakfast, but the plates didn't seem to be properly cleaned, and even though they were new, they had stains. One plate would have been acceptable, but several were dirty, which ruined my appetite. I don't think I'll dine here again.

    I used this for exam...

    I used this for exam preparation, so my perspective might differ from others. The Wi-Fi is weak and unstable. If you're concerned, inform the concierge in advance, and they can provide a room-specific Wi-Fi device. I wish I had known this earlier. The bath was always available without any cleaning interruptions, which was great. However, the view from the women's bath was just a wall, which was a bit disappointing. It would be better if there were alternating schedules for men and women to use different baths. As someone sensitive to noise, it was nice that voices weren't too audible; however, the constant sound of the ventilation fan made it less than silent and somewhat bothersome. During my 3-night stay, water and towels were replenished daily without fail—this was appreciated. A downside was that the room wasn't entirely suitable for studying as it felt darker than expected despite being informed beforehand. The orange-toned lighting didn't help either—I ended up buying additional lights midway through my stay out of frustration. I wouldn't recommend this place for study purposes; I personally wouldn't choose it again for such needs despite its good view and potential focus-friendly environment. Regarding concierge service: when I forgot my room number and asked at reception (while another male guest stood nearby), instead of saying it aloud—which would have been uncomfortable—they wrote it down on paper after confirming my identity with personal details like my name. This thoughtful approach showed high-quality service—it also allowed me to keep the note in case I forgot again later! That staff member truly stood out as exceptional compared to others who provided more standard service. One thing that caught my attention: violin performances occurred during certain times but weren’t mentioned beforehand—I would’ve liked prior notice since I'm interested in classical music events like these. Lastly, during summer (I assume), there seemed to be staff wearing yukata assisting with elevator doors—primarily women only—which felt unsettling as an outdated attempt at creating a "charming" atmosphere by leveraging gender stereotypes unnecessarily. If both men and women wore yukata or shared similar roles equally beyond just holding doors open (a seemingly simple task), perhaps it'd feel less contrived or inappropriate—but as is now? It feels antiquated and uncomfortable to witness such practices today!

    Neither good nor bad...

    The room, facilities, and front desk service were... neither outstanding nor disappointing. There wasn't anything to be extremely dissatisfied with, but nothing exceptionally great either. Are the front desk staff employees? They weren't bad, but I didn't quite feel a professional vibe from them. It's hard to explain... but there was a slight "hmm?" feeling about it.

    Deluxe Queen (1 person) with breakfast and late check-out. The location felt close on the map, but in reality, it was a bit far to walk from the Shinkansen station, especially with a suitcase and for an older traveler. It’s too close for a taxi but manageable via an underground walkway without getting wet. However, the underground path is quite complex and takes a longer route compared to walking above ground. From the ground entrance, you take an elevator straight to the 18th-floor reception area. After check-in, access to guest-only areas requires using a touch key at multiple points, including elevators—a common system in modern hotels. I was assigned a room on the top 25th floor with great views. Although I wanted a view bath room, those plans were fully booked on IKYU.com; they seemed prioritized for direct bookings through the official website. Still, I chose IKYU.com to use my points since my stay was short. The room surprisingly had amenities and pajamas for two people even though it was booked for one person. A bathrobe would have been nice as well. The disposable slippers were of high quality and came without plastic wrapping—a thoughtful touch that felt more refined than leaving them wrapped in plastic. There was also a small cabinet stocked with tableware that added charm to the space. The bathroom didn’t have a washing area but was spacious enough to be comfortable. The hairdryer appeared to be ReFa brand; possibly so was the showerhead. Overall impression: this accommodation feels like an upgraded business hotel—minimal staff providing essential services only (no porters or room service), making it compact yet convenient for solo travelers like me.
