    Thank you for taking...

    Thank you for taking care of us during our Okinawa trip with a family of seven. We felt that this Hotel has been around for quite some time. The location was excellent, but the Facility felt outdated and there was an unusual smell in the Room, which was a bit disappointing. Even considering it was high season, we felt the Accommodation cost was somewhat expensive. We were also surprised that parking fees apply even for Hotel guests. In addition, we stayed for three nights, but the breakfast side dishes were the same every day, which was disappointing.

    Lots of fun things to do

    The beach is just steps away, and American Village is right nearby. You can fully enjoy both lunch and dinner—an unbeatable location that never gets boring. On one of our two nights, dinner was included, with a choice of shabu-shabu or BBQ. We applaud the generous service that also let us freely enjoy the buffet in addition to the BBQ menu we chose. For older guests like us who can’t eat much, it was great to be able to choose what we wanted. From breakfast, there was even a beer server available, which really impressed my husband. The view from the Room was outstanding. Everything was kept very clean, and the front desk staff as well as the housekeeping and dining staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. However, the people near the tourist information area by the elevator were not friendly at all—it didn’t feel like they were part of the same team. The bath facilities were far away and required going outside, so we didn’t use them. In fact, we were satisfied with the bath in our Room because it had such a great view. This time in Okinawa, we traveled by bus from the airport as a couple without renting a car. Not having to worry about returning a rental car made it easy and comfortable. Also, beach parasols cost 3,000 yen per day—you can rent one from morning until evening, which is nice. This is a Hotel we’d love to visit again.

    Breakfast

    We have been staying here as one of our regular Accommodations since your opening, for family trips and business travel. About 16 years ago, when our children were small, breakfast was a must for us, and I remember it being far better than it is now. However, in the past few years, I regret to say it no longer feels like a level we can continue choosing based on those memories. Given the location, it is an excellent base whether heading north or south. I believe your Accommodation holds an important position as a key presence and landmark in the Chubu region. I hope that, even without making it extravagant, you will be able to take steps to bring the breakfast quality back to what it once was. I understand the food and beverage department faces challenges amid cost competition, but I sincerely hope you can create an environment where improvements can continue.

    I think this is a go...

    I think this is a good Hotel where you can comfortably use one of the few spacious Rooms in the Chatan area. It may feel lacking for guests who prioritize a full Hotel stay experience, but I highly recommend it for those familiar with Okinawa who plan a longer stay or want to use it as a base for sightseeing.

    Very satisfied!

    We stayed as a family of three (a couple and one child). It was a very nice Hotel. Room: Clean and spacious. For the third bed, it’s often the case that the sofa is used instead, but they brought in an extra bed for us, so we could still relax on the sofa. It was a shame there were no power outlets by the bedside, so I deducted one star for that, but otherwise it was very comfortable. The view from the window was wonderful too! Breakfast: There was a great variety, including Okinawa-specific dishes, and everything was delicious. They even had steak in the morning (tender and tasty), which made my husband very happy. Our child has food allergies, and allergens were clearly labeled, which we appreciated. The tuna rice bowl seemed especially delicious. They also went back for more Blue Seal ice cream. I enjoyed making taco rice since they had tacos as well, and both the French toast and desserts were excellent. Onsen / Pool: Chura-Yu, located about a 1-minute walk away, was included free of charge through our checkout day, so we enjoyed both the Onsen and pool over two days. Other: Since it was Children’s Day, there were various events in the Hotel lobby, including a fun Shisa coloring experience. It started raining continuously from our first day in Okinawa due to an early start to the rainy season (unusual for Okinawa), but we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel!

    The aging of the Facility is unavoidable, but it is noticeable. There was a wide variety of food, and we were able to eat plenty. It was delicious.

    The sunset view from the Room was beautiful.

    It’s easy to get to the beach. I was able to relax very well. I enjoyed watching the aquarium in the entrance. It was nice to be a little away from the bustle of American Village. It’s convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Chatan Gateway. The Onsen is also close by, and soaking twice a day, morning and evening, helped relieve my fatigue. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

    It’s great that you can see the fireworks.

    I stayed for two nights to watch a professional baseball spring training camp. Some parts of the Facility felt a bit dated, but I didn’t experience any major inconvenience during my stay. I only used the breakfast service, and overall I was satisfied with both the variety and taste. The location was excellent, with easy access to American Village, which made sightseeing and dining very convenient. I was also happy to be able to watch fireworks from my Room. Although it was winter, I could comfortably use the outdoor heated pool and the Onsen, and had a relaxing time. On the other hand, while having a coin laundry on-site was convenient, it seemed that the dryer filters were not cleaned thoroughly enough, and lint stuck to my clothes after use. It would be even more comfortable if this is improved in the future. Overall, thanks to its great location and appealing amenities, it suited my purpose well.

    The front desk staff was terrible!

    The accommodation information was minimal and impersonal. On the check-out day around 4 PM, I asked if a taxi reservation could be made, but was told reservations were not possible and that they would call one when I left the hotel. Returning to the hotel around 3:30 PM, I requested a taxi, but the staff at that time asked if I had already made a reservation. They said they would try calling now to see if one could come immediately. After making about four calls and only speaking with one company briefly before hanging up on others, they said it was impossible to get a taxi and suggested walking about 10 minutes to find one instead. Despite it starting to rain heavily and me explaining that walking with my cane wasn’t feasible, their response remained cold: "There’s nothing more we can do." In the end, I called for a taxi myself from the lobby while waiting in frustration. When it finally arrived after nearly 50 minutes of phone calls, another guest mistakenly took my ride because no staff ensured proper coordination or communication with waiting passengers. The situation escalated further as subsequent attempts for dispatch were denied until finally securing another ride after much effort. This experience left me exhausted—it was truly the worst hotel stay ever!

    Birthday Trip

    Stayed here for the first time in about 15 years for my daughter's birthday trip. The accommodation upgraded our room and even provided a birthday card, which deeply moved my daughter. While there were signs of aging in some areas, the room was kept clean. However, it took about 40 minutes to fill the bathtub (perhaps because it was on a high floor?), and there were no power outlets near the bed, which was disappointing. Additionally, there was no ice pail in the room, making it inconvenient when requesting ice. Breakfast remained as delicious as I remembered from before. It became a truly memorable birthday for my daughter. Thank you very much!

    It was quieter and more comfortable than I expected.

    The atmosphere was surprisingly calm and comfortable, even though I expected there to be many children. I had left my luggage before check-in, but it was handed back to me during check-in while my hands were full. It would have been appreciated if the luggage could have been placed in the Room instead.

    Stayed for 4 nights.

    Stayed at the accommodation to watch the Okinawa camp. The staff were kind and helpful, which was appreciated. Breakfast was crowded, and there was a waiting time, which was unfortunate. Other than that, everything was good. I will use this accommodation again.

    First Trip to Okinawa

    This time, I booked this Hotel through IKYU for a trip with my son, and we chose the cheapest Room available. Of course, the Room type did not allow us to specify the direction it would face. However, upon arriving at the Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our Room had a stunning view of the beach and the American Village. I believe this was definitely thanks to the brand value of IKYU. Thanks to this, my son and I were overjoyed and were able to enjoy the best Okinawa trip. Thank you very much.

    The nighttime healing pool is exceptional.

    I made a mistake with the age of my child during the Reservation. Changed from an infant with meals to 8 years old at the counter. An additional 14,500 yen. Since the total for a family of four was originally 17,000 yen, it felt like I could have rented another Room for that amount. Considering that it would have been much cheaper to redo the Reservation on the spot, I felt like I lost out.

    It is difficult to evaluate.

    Next to American Village, the location is excellent. It seems like a Hotel for families and foreign guests. I was concerned about the damage in the Room, torn walls, and mold in the bathroom tile grout. It was inconvenient not being able to use the elevator on the lower floors. It would be nice if stairs were accessible... This was really troublesome. During the high season, it feels a bit overpriced. Perhaps the surcharge during the peak season is quite significant.

    For the Best Christmas Home Party

    I stayed for the first time and was thrilled by the overwhelming view. We enjoyed champagne and the food we bought while watching the night view of the American Village from our room. Being beachfront, we were able to greet the morning with the sea and enjoy the ever-changing scenery. As a note during your stay, the elevator tends to get crowded, so it's necessary to plan with plenty of time. Also, the bed mattress is soft, and your back may sink. Adjusting the sinking with cushions might make it a bit more comfortable. It was a wonderful stay with a perfect resort feel, like a condominium or a villa.

    A Hotel Where You Can Enjoy Okinawa Without a Rental Car

    I had a very comfortable stay. First, the staff were extremely kind and promptly addressed any issues with care. Their smiles provided a great sense of reassurance. Furthermore, the hotel's location was excellent, with outstanding access to Naha Airport, tourist spots, and shopping areas. Within walking distance, there were Onsen, beaches, and many facilities, making transportation very convenient. The room was clean and had a calm atmosphere, providing a relaxing space. I am grateful for the attentive service and well-equipped facilities. I would definitely like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

    Okinawa for the first time in 30 years!

    My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. The Room was spacious and relaxing, with a fantastic view of the beach and American Village. It was my daughter's first time in Okinawa, and she was very satisfied with the breakfast and Onsen! She was delighted and said she would love to stay at this Hotel again next time! This time we stayed for two nights, and we look forward to escaping the cold winter of Sapporo again to fully enjoy Okinawa!

    Visit after a long time

    This was my third visit, and I was taken care of. I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, but when I returned to my Room around 4 PM on the first night, it hadn't been cleaned yet, and room service came around 4:30 PM to change towels and take out the trash. The cups were not replaced, so I requested it at the front desk. There was no simple cleaning, and I was told that cleaning would be charged if I wanted it. It seems they will finally vacuum on the third night. I was used to having the vacuuming done every day, so it was very disappointing not to have cleaning done. Since I think there are many children at the Stays, I felt that even simple cleaning would be appreciated. I also wanted new sheets for the futon, but I was told that would also be charged. The front desk staff seemed to smile less than before, and there were more people who seemed to be just going through the motions. The buffet meals were also slow to be replenished. The location is good, and access to the beach is great, so the children enjoyed it very much.
