    Anniversary

    We stayed here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Our 6-year-old was thrilled with the pool. Although it sometimes felt a bit understaffed, we were very satisfied with the pleasant service that made up for it. We’ve traveled to Okinawa dozens of times and stayed at many Hotels, and this one is definitely among the top. There were a few insects, but that’s part of the charm. We’ll probably come back again.

    Excellent!

    We stayed for one night on the Saturday after Golden Week. Just as we’d seen in the Reviews, it was simply amazing—an absolutely wonderful space with nothing to complain about. During our stay, we didn’t run into any other guests at all, so we were able to enjoy uninterrupted family time. The pool was spacious, and our children had a great time playing. It was a luxurious, out-of-the-ordinary experience in Okinawa—surrounded by greenery rather than ocean views. By the pool we saw snails and butterflies, and near the front desk they even showed us a stag beetle—our kids, who love animals and insects, were thrilled. Not only was the setting fantastic, but above all, the staff’s thoughtful hospitality made us truly glad we chose to stay here.

    Thank you for a quiet and luxurious stay.

    While looking for an Accommodation near Junglia, we decided to stay at Magachabaru Okinawa, and it turned out to be a wonderful trip. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff for their attentive service. First, the pool: we didn’t expect it to be heated 24 hours a day. At this time of year, an unheated pool would be tough, so being able to enjoy the warm pool both morning and night was extremely satisfying. As for dining, we had the Japanese black wagyu course and a shabu-shabu meal. Both were delicious, but the shabu-shabu portion was a bit too large and we ended up leaving some food behind—sorry about that. We appreciate the generous servings, but we felt that “just slightly not enough” might actually be the ideal amount. The Room layout was unlike anything we had experienced before, so honestly we were a little anxious prior to arrival; however, while it has a rugged design, it is well planned in terms of flow and there was no inconvenience. We stayed as a family of three this time; if anything, we would have liked one more set of two-seater sofas. The staff were very kind—especially the men; we were surprised by how handsome they all were—but more importantly, their service was excellent. That said, when we called in advance to ask about Junglia information, it seemed they weren’t very familiar with it and couldn’t advise us on an efficient way to spend time there. Given the location, I imagine many guests visit Junglia as well, so having more complete Junglia information available would make things even better. Sorry if that sounds presumptuous. Overall we were extremely satisfied and would love to stay again.

    The best Hotel, offering exceptional cleanliness and warm hospitality.

    I made a Reservation because I was drawn to the rare location of a Hotel set deep in the Yanbaru forest, and I was truly amazed by the extraordinary atmosphere—it hardly felt like Japan. On the day of our stay, we arrived much later than our dinner Reservation time due to traffic and caused inconvenience, but we were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink. When we entered the Room, we were surprised at how impeccably clean it was, and even the amenities and fixtures looked almost unused. The toiletries were luxurious—Guerlain for shampoo and other bath items, Mikimoto for skincare—and the hair dryer was a ReFa. They also had everything you could hope for when traveling with children: a child toilet seat and step stool, as well as a diaper pail and diaper bags. We really appreciated it. Not only was the selection excellent, but the staff’s service—polite yet never stiff—was truly comfortable. We stayed here for sightseeing in Okinawa, but this Hotel stay became our best memory.

    It was a memorable stay.

    Thank you for everything. My family came to visit Okinawa, and it was also my birthday, so... I finally had the chance to stay at this Accommodation I’d been wanting to visit for a long time. The staff’s thoughtfulness and service were wonderful, and the meals were outstanding! The Room was spotless throughout, including the bathroom areas, and it felt very well maintained. The birthday cake I requested was truly delicious. At checkout we were in a bit of a rush, so I didn’t get the chance to properly thank you again, which I regret. I would love to return again during the warmer season.

    It was relaxing.

    Thank you for the wonderful experience. We stayed with both families' parents, and everyone seemed very satisfied. Everything, including the cuisine, room, and amenities, was excellent. We enjoyed both Japanese and Western dishes, and they were truly delicious. The staff's hospitality was also outstanding, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. My daughter was delighted by their friendly interaction with her. Since the accommodation is nestled in the forest, the chirping of birds and the scent of nature helped us forget our busy daily lives. Thank you so much again! We look forward to staying with you this year as well.

    I stayed here before...

    I stayed here before and had a decent experience, so I decided to return, but this time was disappointing. The room was filled with an artificial fragrance (likely from synthetic detergent used for laundry), and even opening the window didn’t help. It seemed that the information about our previous visit wasn’t shared, which felt a bit impersonal. The biggest issue was the lack of a menu during dinner. Not knowing what would be served made it hard to choose drinks, leading to an unexpected alcohol-free day during our trip. On the other hand, the traditional breakfast dishes were delicious. However, even in a heated pool, 15°C with strong winds felt too cold!

    4 days and 3 nights for a family of 4

    After checkout, we talked about the Hotel with our family during the ride to the airport. Even my usually strict wife couldn't stop praising it without a single complaint. It's expensive... but worth it. We hope they maintain this quality. We were worried that our kids might prefer a large pool at a big Hotel, but the Room's private pool was much bigger and cleaner than we imagined. The Shuttle Service cart, the spacious Room big enough for hide-and-seek, and delicious meals made our kids say they want to come back here again—they were absolutely delighted. Honestly, even insects and geckos didn't bother us; instead, they felt sacred in such an environment. This is truly a special place.

    It was my first stay...

    It was my first stay in two years, and I felt very warm when I was greeted with a "Welcome back" upon arrival. This time, I stayed in a room with a heated pool for the first time through an affordable plan. Although there were several squalls during my stay, thanks to the heated water, I didn’t feel cold and could enjoy the pool leisurely even in the rain—a truly luxurious experience. The staff's hospitality is always pleasant, and I am especially grateful to the two staff members who have assisted me before for their consistent warmth and thoughtful care this time as well. I look forward to visiting again for another relaxing experience.

    24-Hour Pool and Starry Skies: A Luxurious Stay for the Whole Family

    We stayed here for a slightly luxurious trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary and family vacation! The room with a private pool was even larger than what we saw on the website, which was a pleasant surprise. While there were geckos, there were hardly any mosquitoes or bugs, making the BBQ at the gazebo very enjoyable. Plus, the pool is open 24 hours, allowing us to indulge in a night swim—a true luxury. The environment was perfect for kids to play and be loud without worry, giving us peace of mind. Our visit coincided with the Koshien baseball tournament, and we enjoyed discussing Okinawa Shogaku's game during our stay. The meals exceeded expectations—on the first day, we had Agu pork shabu-shabu with three types of meat that were both flavorful and satisfying in portion size. On the second day, we had BBQ featuring high-quality meats in generous portions; turning rice balls into grilled rice balls made them absolutely delicious. On the third day, we enjoyed an incredibly fresh seafood dinner that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. At night, stargazing by the poolside was breathtakingly beautiful—we even saw shooting stars! It truly felt like a special moment created by this amazing location. Additionally, during restaurant use, we never shared space with other guests once—it felt very private and comfortable throughout our stay. The staff's hospitality was exceptional from start to finish; they made us feel completely at ease. If I could suggest one improvement: it would be great if breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options like dinner does. Other than that minor point, everything else was flawless—it became an unforgettable memory for our precious wedding anniversary trip. Lastly, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of your staff for their warm hospitality!

    I had a great time.

    We stayed for a multiple night stay as a family of four. Initially, we booked for one night, but decided to extend our stay. Unfortunately, the same room type was already fully booked when we tried to add another night. We had no choice but to make an additional reservation for a different room type. However, we received a call in advance informing us about the need to switch rooms and were kindly accommodated so that we could stay in the same room throughout our visit. This thoughtful gesture impressed us even before our arrival. We arrived with high expectations and were completely satisfied with the excellent facility, meals, and service that lived up to its reputation. One minor issue was a facility problem in our first night's room which made us slightly uneasy as a family; however, it was handled promptly and professionally. Despite being surrounded by nature, there were surprisingly few insects—likely due to effective measures taken—and the cleanliness of the room was impeccable; it’s something I’d like to emulate myself! While there is no ocean view here, being away from crowds allowed us to refresh ourselves completely—it was perfect! We will definitely return again soon!

    Elegant Nature Resort

    I stayed for a multiple night stay with my elementary school-aged child. Having stayed at various luxury resort hotels, this accommodation offers attentive services not found in large hotels and allows you to relax peacefully amidst the tranquility of nature. The welcome drink was beautifully presented and soothing. The facilities are impeccable and spacious, with the room's pool and bath being exceptionally open. Inflatable floats were also provided. Throughout the day, there was no noise from people or other disturbances—only the sounds of birds and insects could be heard, making it incredibly quiet. When heading out for activities, towels and water were prepared in the car for us. The meals, both Japanese and Western-style, featured refined flavors with a luxurious presentation that skillfully incorporated Okinawan ingredients—absolutely delicious! Having a washing machine in the room was very convenient as well. I will definitely visit again!!

    Perfect Hotel

    We booked this hotel for a trip to celebrate a birthday. Before our stay, we consulted about meals, ordered a birthday plate, and asked questions regarding our child since we were traveling with kids. The staff responded to everything kindly and thoroughly. When we arrived at the hotel on the day of our stay, we were surprised to find "Happy Birthday" decorations made with balloon art on the bed! We hadn't requested this, so it was truly touching. What impressed me personally was how impeccably clean the room was in every corner. The bathroom had no mold at all, and the bathtub sparkled. The kitchen area was spotless, including the sink; there wasn’t even a speck of dust on the floors or shelves. Even the outdoor shower booth had no water stains or mold! Of course, everything from the pool to beach beds was pristine as well! Even in luxury hotels I’ve stayed at before, it’s not uncommon for water areas to be dirty or cleaning to be insufficient—but this place exceeded all expectations with its cleanliness. The food was absolutely delicious no matter what we tried and came in generous portions that left us completely satisfied. The BBQ meat was especially tasty. Outside our room surrounded by nature, watching the gradient colors of sunset skies while enjoying BBQ made for an unforgettable experience—it became one of my best birthdays ever. Above all else though were how kind-hearted and attentive every staff member here is—they went above-and-beyond throughout our stay! Even without prior requests from us beforehand—things like diaper disposal bins (with deodorizing bags!), children’s toilet seats & step stools had already been prepared inside facilities which showed such thoughtful consideration towards families traveling w/kids—it felt perfect down-to-every-detail leaving nothing negative worth mentioning whatsoever! If possible instead-of rating just 5 stars—I’d give them 10 stars easily!! Truly hope-to-visit-again soon someday wholeheartedly recommend staying here too anyone reading-thank-you-all-staff-for-making-this-special-memorable-experience!!

    The Best Resort in the Subtropical Rainforest

    This was my second stay. Last time was in autumn, but this time in summer, the greenery was even more abundant, making it feel like a true resort nestled in the jungle. The Room was spacious, clean, and simple yet stylish like an art museum. The pool is one of the largest in the prefecture with views reminiscent of Ubud in Bali and slightly warm water that made it truly enjoyable. All the staff provided exceptional hospitality, which I believe is one of this Hotel's outstanding points. I will visit again!

    Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    I stayed at the accommodation during a trip with my girlfriend. The room was very spacious and clean, and the pool was large and amazing! It’s big enough for adults to swim and enjoy. Additionally, I consulted via email in advance for a surprise for my girlfriend, and they created balloon art in the room during dinner. The balloon art seemed even more luxurious than the photos I had seen beforehand, and she was very happy! For dinner, we chose the grill course, so we moved to the building with the front desk to dine. Since it was a private room, we could enjoy our meal without worrying about others around us. The main steak was beautifully marbled beef and absolutely delicious. Personally, I love fatty meat so it wasn’t an issue at all for me; however, the meat is quite rich in fat! If you’re not a fan of fatty meat, you might want to consider changing your choice of meat. Moreover, I felt that all hotel staff provided high-level hospitality with just the right amount of interaction that made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Lastly—though this may seem like nitpicking—the outdoor ashtray still had cigarette butts from previous guests left inside! It momentarily brought me back to reality from this extraordinary experience which was slightly disappointing... That said, it didn’t matter much because everything else made up for it in such an incredible way! Highly recommended—Magachabaru Okinawa is fantastic!

It was more relaxing and comfortable than staying at a high-end Hotel, as I could enjoy my time without worrying about others. Thank you for your thoughtful arrangements, including meal preparations.     My favorite villa on Okinawa Main Island

    No matter how much I like a hotel, there are countless options out there, so I rarely stay at the same accommodation again, let alone for a multiple night stay. However, this place offers truly unique facilities and services that make me want to return on my next visit. The maisonette-style architecture with an open feel, the heated pool, the meals, and baby-friendly services are exceptional. On top of that, having all beverages in the room included makes for an outstandingly satisfying experience. The staff also treated us wonderfully every day. Thank you very much!

    This accommodation is worth the two-hour bus ride from Naha Airport. I stayed in a villa with a private pool for the first time. Being in a subtropical forest, you need to be prepared for insects, but it was a comfortable and relaxing experience. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and there were free drinks, snacks, and even instant noodles for late-night cravings. The service was excellent as well. I can no longer stay at noisy large resort hotels!

    We enjoyed exceptional hospitality and had a relaxing time across three generations.

    We were deeply impressed by the hospitality and well-maintained facilities during our first visit, so my husband wanted to bring his parents along, and we decided to return. The children enjoyed playing in the heated pool all day without getting bored, while adults could relax nearby or keep an eye on them while enjoying a BBQ. Everyone was able to spend their time freely and comfortably doing what they liked. My in-laws also enjoyed the open-air bath, and with separate bedrooms available, they could relax without any concerns, which made them very happy. Above all, we truly appreciated the thoughtful care of all the staff members throughout our stay. We would love to visit again for another relaxing experience!

    We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my 3-year-old son's birthday!

    We stayed for two nights as a family of four, including our 3-year-old son's birthday and our 1-year-4-month-old son. On the first night, we enjoyed a barbecue, and on the second night, we had dinner at the restaurant. The meals, including breakfast, were incredibly delicious. The restaurant was almost private for us, which was perfect since it's usually hard to enjoy a relaxed dinner with two kids. The staff kindly entertained our children, allowing us to savor both food and drinks more leisurely than usual. Everything exceeded expectations; however, the staff's hospitality stood out as exceptional. Their balance of attentiveness and professionalism was truly impressive. Although there were some challenges due to our younger child still being in the toddling stage—like stairs or bumping his head on the floor (which we anticipated)—we understand that this facility is not specifically designed for children. That said, it is very clean and well-maintained with beautiful facilities overall. Of course, we also thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool! We look forward to visiting again when our younger child grows a bit older! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality during our stay!

    A place for extraordinary experiences

    We stayed here for our honeymoon, and to sum it up—amazing!! The Room was beautifully decorated, and we were touched by the adorable swan towel art. The pool was so spacious that it felt like too much just for the two of us. Enjoying a beer on the outdoor chairs was truly special. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the sweet and flavorful vegetables. The sounds of insects, frogs, and the breeze were soothing, allowing us to relax and forget about daily life. All the staff members were incredibly kind and welcoming. We definitely want to stay here again!

    The final accommodation!

    This was my second stay, and once again, everything was absolutely perfect! I have visited various famous luxury Hotels in Okinawa, but many of them lacked proper hospitality. However, this place offers top-notch service at the highest level. The stylish architecture surrounded by Okinawa's unique tropical rainforest is stunning. The heated pool is spacious enough for adults to swim properly (with a good depth), and the BBQ and breakfast are abundant with more than enough to eat. The quality of the meat and seafood is impeccable—fresh and of the highest standard. Since it’s a secluded villa, you can relax without worrying about others around you. I will definitely come back again! Thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality this time as well. Looking forward to visiting again!

    Feel elevated with a private pool.

    It was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. The spacious Room with a private pool and a large bathroom mirror made me feel relaxed. The refrigerator was stocked with delicious Okinawan snacks and tea, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The pool, though I'm not sure if it was 135 cm deep, allowed for swimming as well as soaking, and it was heated, making it very comfortable. Upon departure, I received some delicious local snacks as souvenirs. For meals, there were four menu options to choose from; however, I felt it would be better to simplify the choices for easier selection. It became a truly memorable trip. Thank you very much!

    We were soothed by the subtropical plants and the wonderful service!

    We stayed for two nights and three days, and from the Reservation stage you kindly accommodated our meal requests and allergies with polite, beautifully written emails. I was truly impressed—this was the best service I’ve ever experienced even before the trip began. After we arrived, you created balloon art as a birthday surprise, and because it was Hinamatsuri you treated us to an adorable roll cake—and even delicious sweets to take home. I was so moved. This Accommodation is too wonderful for just one night. A Multiple Night Stay is highly recommended! (You can’t fully enjoy it in one night—honestly, even two nights and three days didn’t feel like enough… haha.) The Room was spotless—there wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere. The restaurant windows were sparkling clean as well, and the plants were breathtakingly beautiful and carefully maintained. It was amazing how the atmosphere of the subtropical greenery changed completely between rain and sunshine—it made me realize it’s perfect even without an ocean view. The food was flawless in presentation, variety, and especially in serving temperature. Even for big eaters like us, there was more than enough—we didn’t need any extras. The BBQ meat in particular was so moist and tender that it truly impressed us…! Next time we’d love to stay for three nights. Thank you very much.

    There is nothing to criticize.

    The hospitality of the staff was wonderful. I was impressed. Every staff member provided consistently attentive service. I heard that even during busy periods, they do not fill the rooms to capacity to ensure quality service, and I am convinced of their high standards. The children were also very happy, especially with the indoor pool. The little ones keep saying, "We want to go to Magachabaru again." We will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.
