    We were well taken care of.

    We stayed here for our first trip after getting engaged, which was also his birthday. Thank you for the perfectly timed surprise. The cake was light and delicious. The Room's bath and the private bath allowed us to fully enjoy the West Izu sea view. I wonder if the scenery is similar to that of a newly opened luxury Ryokan nearby. Although Mount Fuji appeared like a mirage since it was summer, we were very satisfied with the vast ocean and blue sky.

    Used the Thank You Plan, great value for money!

    The room was clean and tidy, with thorough cleaning. The staff provided exceptional hospitality with their outstanding service. Although I was initially concerned about the portion size of the meals, they were more than sufficient for a gratitude plan, and everything tasted delicious. The sashimi, in particular, was exceptional. If there is one point for improvement, it would be that the large public bath only had three lockers with keys available. This meant I had to leave my room key and valuables in a basket in the changing area while bathing. Installing more secure lockers for valuables would allow guests to enjoy their bath more comfortably. That said, considering the price of the gratitude plan, having a room with an onsen bath and satisfying meals made this stay truly delightful. It has become one of my favorite accommodations to visit again. Thank you very much!

    I understand the staff shortage, but...

    It must have been a wonderful Ryokan in the past. Despite the staff shortage, they are making great efforts. Japanese staff handle financial matters, while other tasks seem to be managed by Asian staff. The foreign staff were very well-trained, which was impressive. The meals were satisfying, and the bath was clean; however, there were only three lockers with keys available. It wasn’t ideal to leave room keys or valuables in the changing basket, so I ended up putting them in a plastic bag and carrying it with me while bathing. That was the only disappointing point.

    The meals were excellent.

    Both dinner and breakfast were highly satisfying in terms of taste, variety, and quantity. However, it was slightly inconvenient to access the indoor bath attached to the Room for washing or to reach the open-air bath.

    The sunset was not visible, but...

    This accommodation had caught my attention for a while, and I finally stayed here this time. Since it was the last day of Golden Week, I arrived without much traffic on the way. The coastal road from Numazu is narrow and mountainous, so careful driving is necessary. The accommodation has been renovated, making it clean and well-maintained, with attentive service. Unlike large hotels that tend to be crowded, this place is perfect for a relaxing stay. The meals were excellent in both quantity and quality, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Next time, I would like to stay in a room with an indoor bath!

    The accommodation we were looking forward to.

    I stayed during a weekday of Golden Week. I had always wanted to stay here because of its high ratings for the amazing views, so I was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great and I couldn’t see the sunset, but the view overlooking the ocean was spectacular! The Onsen was relaxing, and the meals were luxurious and incredibly delicious! The fresh seafood was especially satisfying. It’s such a wonderful place that I’d love to visit again.

    A very kind, attentive, and warm accommodation.

    The staff were all friendly and warmly greeted us with "Have a nice day" and "Take your time," which made us very happy. The Shuttle Service was smooth, providing peace of mind. The private family bath had a great view, and we enjoyed it while being mindful of privacy from the parking lot below. Although we spotted a small insect, the thoughtful provision of insect repellent like KINCHO was appreciated. Amenities were sufficient and well-prepared, which was great. The Room had calming interior decor, was clean, and very comfortable to stay in. The ocean view from the room's window was stunning; sitting by the window to enjoy it was delightful. Meals for both breakfast and dinner were beautifully presented and delicious. We felt sorry that our child got noisy in such a quiet environment but appreciated how kindly you interacted with them—thank you! We also enjoyed little touches like drink service at the lounge and bottled milk on the public bath floor, making our stay even more enjoyable.

    Accommodation I Want to Visit Again

    During Golden Week, I was able to relax without encountering many people at the Hotel. Meals were served in private rooms, and the bath felt like a private experience. The staff's smiles were wonderful... Thank you for your hospitality.

    It was an accommodation that made us want to stay more leisurely.

    Looking forward to enjoying the sunset and delicious seafood in Nishi-Izu, I wanted to check in early and relax. However, I couldn't resist sightseeing and ended up rushing to bathe before dinner. The hotel offers complimentary drinks (beer, juice, coffee) in the sea-view lobby or terrace, which was a nice touch for a quick break. Before dinner, I headed to the public Onsen bath. While not particularly spacious, it was clean and featured an open-air bath with ocean views. There was even an announcement informing guests of the sunset time so we could enjoy it from the bath. Personally, I prefer hotter Onsen water, so it felt slightly lukewarm for my taste. As for meals, both dinner and breakfast were highly satisfying. The dining area is divided into private spaces with bamboo screens; perhaps because it was a weekday stay, we enjoyed our meals quietly without disturbance. We booked the "Goju Kaiseki [Ai]" Plan after debating whether to upgrade but found this plan more than sufficient in terms of variety and quality of dishes. Warm dishes were served fresh each time for optimal enjoyment—an impressive touch! My first experience with "Grilled Abalone" left me amazed as well! The head of the spiny lobster from dinner became part of a flavorful miso soup at breakfast—all incredibly delicious. Our Room was on the "Panoramic Floor Japanese-Style Room," offering stunning ocean views—a tidy and comfortable space with excellent cleanliness. The staff members were all kind and friendly; there wasn’t a single unpleasant moment during our stay. However... while my main anticipation had been enjoying Nishi-Izu's famous sunset under clear skies... unfortunately due to yellow dust haze combined with spring mistiness that day—the scenery turned out disappointing at best (no view of Mt.Fuji nor blue seas/horizon/sunset). Despite this setback though—I’m determined returning someday targeting better timing hopefully next visit here again soon!

    We had a relaxing time with our family.

    Due to a sudden transfer starting in April, we planned a family trip and booked a stay at Isaba, which we had always wanted to visit. Although the weather was not ideal, we were still able to enjoy views of the sunset and Mt. Fuji from the bath. The baths were not crowded, and we savored the delicious meals at our own pace. We also enjoyed karaoke as a family and later admired the beautiful starry sky. It was a relaxing and perfect experience!

    The location was excellent.

    We were fortunate to have two days of perfect weather during our stay, allowing us to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay, making it a truly memorable trip. The stunning scenery from the Hotel is definitely a high point. The staff's warm smiles and excellent service were wonderful, especially the staff member who assisted us—despite being in Japan for only two years, their effort and fluent Japanese left a great impression. The Room's bath had an abundant supply of hot water, allowing us to relax multiple times, and the private bath we used the next morning offered incredible views of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay. Being close to the sea, the seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. The morning coffee after breakfast was also much appreciated.

    It became a wonderful memory.

    Although it is an old-established Ryokan, it has been renovated and I think it looks overall clean. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were in such large portions that I couldn't finish them, and everything was delicious and impressive. There are also four private baths, so the large public bath was not crowded at all, and I could enjoy it leisurely. After taking a morning bath, I was able to see the sunrise over Mt. Fuji, which became a memorable experience. The staff were all kind and spoke to me gently, which left a good impression. There was beer as a welcome drink when I arrived, and I also enjoyed the coffee service in the same place after breakfast. I would love to visit again. If I had to say one thing, the location is inconvenient, and I got car sick on the mountain road, so it might be tough for those not used to driving on mountain roads.

    It was a property with a nice view.

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay in the "Akane no Uta" <Japanese-Western Style Room>. I love looking at the sea, so I always stay at places like this. The Room was clean, and the washroom and toilet were comfortable to use, but the indoor bath was difficult to use. The meals were excellent, with a large table full of dishes, allowing us to freely choose what we liked. The staff in charge of the Room was very attentive, allowing us to enjoy a leisurely and pleasant meal. However, one concern was that I deliberately booked a regular Plan instead of a Multiple Night Stay Plan, but on the second day, there was no spiny lobster for dinner. The first day's meal was so good that the second day's dinner and breakfast felt lacking. Despite writing various things, there were many thoughtful touches not found in other Facilities, making it a Property I would like to visit again.

    A relaxing Stays.

    I stayed for a multiple night stay starting from New Year's Eve. Since it was my first time at this property, I relied on reviews to make the reservation, and it turned out to be a good choice. The room was spacious and had a bath, so I relaxed in the onsen in the room the whole time. As a housewife, I was able to forget about daily chores and truly relax with meals served. Thanks to all the staff at the property, thank you very much. The meals were so plentiful that I couldn't finish them, I'm sorry! But I enjoyed them very much. I had a great view of Mt. Fuji, the sunset was beautiful, and there was a walking course, so I had a wonderful time. If I have the chance, I would like to visit this property again.

    Christmas Trip

    It was my first time at the Hotel, Tada Onsen. I arrived a little earlier than check-in, but was warmly welcomed in a homely atmosphere. I received a welcome drink, and the private open-air bath offered a spectacular view of Mount Fuji, making it a perfect location. If I may be greedy, I would have loved to use it again! The cuisine and room were impeccable, and I was thoroughly satisfied. It's a hotel I definitely want to repeat! It became a wonderful Christmas memory. Thank you very much!!!

    This was my second s...

    This was my second stay. During my first visit, I found the amenities to be well-equipped, the room's spoon-cut flooring comfortable, and above all, the food was excellent!! I decided to go on a trip and made a last-minute reservation on the morning of the day of my stay. While other properties said they couldn't prepare ingredients on the same day and turned me down, I was impressed that I could make a reservation at 10 AM on the day. We left late, and by the time we arrived, it was just sunset. We couldn't choose the dining time, and it felt rushed as we were told to start eating at 7 PM and leave the room by 8:30 PM. There were dishes to share between two people, which felt a bit unsettling. I definitely preferred the food during my first visit... It's a nice property that kindly accommodates families with noisy children, but as a property costing over 160,000 yen for four people, including two adults, a lower elementary school student, and a toddler, the meal was a bit disappointing... Eating the Japanese spider crab was a good memory. (We added crab, so they laughed and said we could extend the seating time by 15 minutes.)

    First Year-End Onsen

    The onsen property in Higashi-Izu, where I stayed several times before the pandemic, became expensive, so I searched for other onsens and found this one. I was hoping to relax after a long time, and everything exceeded my expectations, leaving me very satisfied! The first snow was falling in Tokyo and at the service area on the way, so I almost gave up on seeing Mt. Fuji and the sunset from the property. However, after checking in and entering the reserved private bath, I was really lucky to be able to see both Mt. Fuji and the sunset! The quality of the spring was excellent, leaving my skin moist and my hair silky, which was very satisfying! The food and service were also very good, but the only thing I didn't like was the coffee in the lounge (as it's a matter of personal taste). Seeing the foreign staff working hard was heartwarming, and I sincerely hope they continue to do their best in Japan. After checking out, I took many photos from the parking lot across the street from the building, capturing angles of Mt. Fuji I had never seen before. As I was about to get in the car and leave, I noticed for the first time that a staff member was waiting at the entrance, thank you until the very end. I would like to visit again when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.

    It was a wonderful Stays.

    I was able to spend such a wonderful time that I thought, "I can't believe there's a property where you can see such a beautiful sunset and Mt. Fuji!" The room was great, the food was great, the smiles of all the staff were great, and the onsen was great! It was truly the best, thank you very much.

    Customer Service

    I was surprised when I asked for a soy sauce dispenser and they brought a plastic bottle of soy sauce. All the staff were foreigners, and although their dedication was evident, their Japanese still needs improvement.

    Not a Hotel in this price range

    I made a reservation after reading various reviews, but I ended up at a hotel that was below the price. First of all, there is no problem hiring foreigners, but I think it's questionable to have someone who can't explain things give long explanations. Room... I searched for a room with an open-air bath, but it wasn't an open-air bath. If there is one, I would like to be guided to it. There is a gap between the photos and reality. The ceiling is low, and the room feels cramped. Meals... The partition next to us was a blind, so we couldn't enjoy our meal leisurely. I wonder if it's okay to pack people side by side when there are vacant rooms during this period. (There were many unused dining rooms) We were given a long explanation of the dishes by a foreigner, but I couldn't understand what they were saying, it was random. The meal was ruined. Onsen... Ordinary. The view is meaningless at night as there is no view at all (the room bath has no view at all). Service... It seems like they are being friendly, but it's not customer service. I think this hotel has deteriorated considerably recently. I won't be repeating my stay.

    The service was excellent.

    We chose this place in Nishi-Izu because we wanted to stay somewhere that felt like Shizuoka when my in-laws came to visit. I informed them that I couldn't eat raw food due to my pregnancy, and they kindly changed the menu to include cooked dishes like grilled fish, which I enjoyed. The Room was spacious and clean, and we were very satisfied with the free private bath. Just a note of caution: the road to the Ryokan is winding and mountainous, which might cause motion sickness. However, the scenery is fantastic.

    For a celebration for your parents

    This time, we planned a trip to celebrate the 88th and 80th birthdays of an elderly couple, focusing on a leisurely journey. The view from the property was excellent, and we were able to slowly watch the moment the sun set, which made my parents very happy. The private bath, where we could enjoy the gradient of the sky just after sunset, was an experience that cannot be had in the city. However, it was a bit disappointing that we couldn't see the expected view of Mount Fuji due to the slightly bad weather. We look forward to seeing the magnificent full view of Mount Fuji on our next visit. We are grateful to the staff for their attention, which allowed us to complete the celebratory trip.

    The service and hospitality provided by the staff were excellent. The private open-air bath on the top floor was wonderful, and the meals were superb. I would love to visit again.

    I had the most relaxing time.

    We were warmly welcomed to the parking lot in the light rain, making for a pleasant start. The bath was quiet and relaxing. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed the seafood. The server explained that Tota has a tradition of offering hearty hospitality to those who come over the pass, and it was excellent. The next day, the rain cleared, and we could see Mt. Fuji, making it a pleasant stay. We will be back again.

    Dinner is...

    I was expecting an upgraded meal, but I couldn't tell what was upgraded. The quantity and number of dishes were certainly very large, making it difficult to finish, but I would like the quality of each ingredient to be improved rather than the quantity. For example, the tuna in the sashimi platter could at least be toro... As for the tabletop stove dish, while the abalone was acceptable, the ordinary pork pot was at the level of a cheap Stays. The meat became tough, and there was a lot of scum, making it not tasty. Also, the tempura and steak were served together, and perhaps because it was served in the Room, they quickly became cold. I would prefer to have either one and enjoy something better. The Room, bath, and staff were wonderful, so I would definitely like to revisit if the meals are improved.

    Healing Onsen and Staff

    I was very satisfied with the staff's service. Also, the meals were wonderful. The Onsen was a bit warm, but it was a lovely place with a view of Mount Fuji.

    A hotel with great hospitality

    We received a call informing us of a slight delay in our expected arrival time, and we were greeted upon arrival. The room was a renovated Japanese-style room with a shower and was very clean. The room had an amenity set in a pouch. For men, it included a comb, rinse-in shampoo, razor, cotton & swabs, men's lotion gel, hair liquid wax, and facial wash. For women, it included a brush, cotton & swabs, hairband, rinse-in shampoo, shower cap, and argan oil makeup remover & facial wash & lotion & emulsion. Meals were served individually, starting with plum wine as an aperitif for dinner, followed by a large platter of assorted sashimi, grilled abalone, fried deep-sea fish that we tried for the first time, and a large simmered golden eye snapper, among others. Breakfast was also a table full of dishes, leaving us very full. We requested the private bath with a view of Mt. Fuji, called "Fuji no Yuki," and enjoyed a morning bath with a spectacular view. The nearby Moroguchi Shrine is also recommended.

    I was able to relax anyway.

    Since it was my first time staying at a hotel in Nishi-Izu, I was a bit unsure, but the view from the room was amazing, and the way the sunset streamed in felt like it was just for us. Since they don't accommodate a large number of guests, we were able to enjoy the quiet and leisurely flow of time. In that sense, it was the best experience I've had for resting my body and mind. The hotel staff's service was filled with kindness, which I think is great for older guests. Unfortunately, we couldn't see Mount Fuji due to bad weather during this stay, but we look forward to it next time. The public bath is small, so I recommend renting a private bath.

    I was able to relax!

    I was able to take a sudden break, and since the room had a bath and there was a private bath, I decided to stay here. The meals were delicious, and the staff were very courteous. I was happy to have a meal in a quiet private room where I could relax and talk with other guests. Since it was raining, everyone saw me off very politely. The staff's attentiveness made it a wonderful inn. I enjoyed the baths in the room, the large public bath, and the private bath! Unfortunately, it was raining, so I couldn't see Mt. Fuji from the bath, which was disappointing. I would like to try again next time.
