    We had a great time.

    I stayed here on a trip with friends.\n\nWe used this Hotel as a base for visiting Ritsurin Garden, which I had long wanted to see. Located up a steep hill, the Hotel also offered beautiful night views. Perhaps because it was a weekday, it never felt crowded, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time. The staff’s service was very pleasant, the meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied.\n\nThe Room had Facilities that conveyed a sense of history, but everything worked properly and was well maintained. One thing: the entrance door was a sliding door designed like shoji screens, so when our conversation got lively, we suddenly worried whether we were being too loud in the hallway or disturbing others. It would have been perfect if we could have chatted without worrying about that.

    Family Trip

    We stayed here for a mother-and-daughter family trip. The building itself is old, but it has been renovated, and the Room we stayed in was clean and well maintained. The Onsen had a pleasant woody scent, and we were able to relax and enjoy it at a leisurely pace. Since the building is located up in the mountains, once you check in, going out can feel like a hassle. It might be nice to have light snacks or a restaurant that guests can use without making a Reservation. Both the in-room bath and the large public bath at the Onsen were very enjoyable.

    I booked a Japanese-...

    I booked a Japanese-style room with a rock bath. The weather was cool and comfortable during my stay. In the morning, I noticed a line of ants—made me laugh. The building shows its age, but it’s kept clean. The front desk staff were also very helpful. I only had breakfast, and I felt the seasoning in Kagawa is generally on the lighter side. I used the large public bath in the morning only, but if I had known there was a sauna, I would have used it at night as well. Since it was a weekday, I was able to relax with the large public bath, the cafe lounge, and the footbath all to myself. Thank you!

    The in-room open-air bath was excellent.

    Thank you for your hospitality. We stayed in a Semi-Premium Room. We were able to take a bath while enjoying the night view. The Onsen water was silky and wonderful. Dinner wasn’t particularly special, but the aged meat was tender and delicious.

    The view is amazing.

    The meal was a kaiseki course, and we were able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. The Room faced the mountains, and it was a calm, comfortable space. The free-drink area and the view from the outdoor terrace were wonderful. We also enjoyed the Onsen at our leisure.

    Highly recommended! A serene Japanese-style Hotel on a hill.

    The Hotel has a sense of history, and you can tell it is very well maintained. This time, we booked a 106 m² corner Room. The view from the Hotel is wonderful. The private in-room bath was relaxing and very satisfying—spacious and truly special. The large public Onsen bath was also great. Both dinner and breakfast were Japanese course meals and were absolutely delicious. We sincerely appreciate the consideration of having a private dining Room reserved for one party in the special suite area. All of the staff were kind and attentive. Highly recommended!

    A Trip to Shikoku for the First Time in Years

    The front desk staff’s service, the guidance to our Room, and the support at check-out were all excellent. The in-Room staff were also consistently warm and welcoming, with genuine smiles and kindness throughout. The view from the Room was wonderful, especially the beautiful night scenery, and the in-Room meal was just the right amount and very delicious. Because the bed was low-profile, I felt that if it were about 20 cm higher it would be easier for me to get up, as I have back issues. I enjoyed soaking in the private scenic bath in the Room many times at a relaxed pace, and the large public bath also had a great view. Overall, it was a very satisfying Accommodation. On our way home, my wife and I talked in the car about how we would like to visit again.

    Spectacular Views

    It was a very relaxing Accommodation. Located on a hill, we could see the Seto Inland Sea from the balcony, which made our trip truly wonderful. The staff were excellent, and we were very satisfied. Thank you very much. The only issue was that the Hotel entrance from the national highway was hard to find.

    A Hidden Gem in Takamatsu

    The Hotel’s Facility is old, but it is located on a hill and, as its name suggests, is surrounded by flowers. You can enjoy panoramic views of the Seto Inland Sea and Takamatsu City. The meals were varied and delicious.

    "Unsettling meals and a cold Room"

    I booked this stay looking forward to a Room with an open-air bath, but overall my satisfaction was quite low. First, regarding the food: the taste was nothing particularly memorable—just average. More concerning was the serving pace. Dishes kept coming one after another, and I couldn’t keep up at all. I wasn’t able to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace, and it ended in a rush. As for the Room, the open-air bath itself was nice, but the room was extremely cold and not comfortable. A staff member assisted with the air conditioner controls, but the first explanation was incorrect and didn’t improve anything. After asking again, another staff member finally adjusted it properly, but I had to endure the cold for quite some time in between.

    Family Trip

    This time, four of us stayed, including two young children. We were warmly welcomed even before we entered, and everything went smoothly and comfortably. During our stay, we were able to enjoy our favorite drinks in a spot with a great view. The building is a bit old, but it was well cleaned and maintained, so we had a very pleasant stay. The staff also spoke to us kindly, which made the children very happy. The meals were more luxurious and plentiful than we expected! We used both the open-air bath in our Room and the large public bath. There was a drainage clog caused by fallen leaves, but it was handled right away, which we really appreciated. The children said that staying at this Hotel was the most fun part of our trip. We would love to stay again.

    All the staff were very attentive, and we had a very comfortable stay. The Room has been renovated and is clean, but the hallways, stairs, and elevator still show their age, giving the place a sense of history. Since our Room was at the end of a lower floor, the view from the in-room bath was partially blocked by trees, but during cherry blossom season it seems you could enjoy an Onsen while viewing the blossoms.

    I stayed here on a family trip with my wife and our two preschool children. A female staff member assisted us right after we arrived, and check-in was smooth. The in-room open-air bath was also very comfortable. I would like to stay here again.

    I feel refreshed.

    I live in Takamatsu and had always wanted to stay at this accommodation. This time, I made a reservation as the price was reasonable during the holiday. The onsen and meals exceeded my expectations, and I especially enjoyed relaxing with tea in the lounge while admiring the views of Seto Inland Sea and Yashima. I was delighted to have warabi mochi after dinner, which was very delicious. It’s an accommodation I’d love to use occasionally as a treat for myself.

    The facility is old, but the onsen offers a breathtaking view.

    The facility is old, but maintenance and renovations have been done, so the room condition is good. The rooftop Onsen also shows its age, but it offers the same stunning view as the open-air bath while being enclosed with transparent glass for an indoor setting, making it comfortably warm. However, considering the facility's condition and experience, even with New Year's pricing in mind, it felt overpriced for what was offered. The dinner cuisine was delicious.

    Comfortable Rooms

    This was my second stay at the accommodation. I stayed in the same room, which had abundant amenities and a luxurious feel. The room's bath, located on a hilltop ryokan, allowed me to enjoy a relaxing soak while admiring the night view. Since it was winter and dry, having a humidifier would have been appreciated. It was unfortunate that I couldn't use the public bath as it closed an hour earlier than I hoped, but just having the private bath in the room was satisfying enough. The staff who assisted during dinner were very attentive, kind, and considerate. It truly helped ease my travel fatigue. Thank you very much!

    The staff's service is excellent!

    The staff at check-in were kind and provided detailed guidance. They also accommodated my request for a yukata, ensuring the size was perfect. Both dinner and breakfast menus were exceptional, and the staff who attended to us were very courteous. The room was simple yet clean, and the private bath with a view of the night scenery was amazing. It was my first visit to Takamatsu in 10 years, and it became a wonderful memory. I would love to stay again!

    As it gets colder...

    I stayed for two nights this time. The room was clean, the view was amazing, and the staff were very accommodating! Overall, I was satisfied. However, there was one issue—the large public bath. While it seems to be promoted as an open-air bath with a great view due to its high location, despite having a roof and glass panels, the ceiling is quite high which allows wind to blow in. The water temperature was also quite lukewarm, and since the washing area is located there as well, it became unbearably cold and I had to leave quickly. Fortunately, my room had an open-air bath attached, so after that experience I didn’t use the public bath again. The private room bath was comfortable and satisfying! I think it would feel nice in summer but hope measures are considered for colder seasons like autumn and winter.

    It was very disappointing.

    We visited again with great anticipation. Elderly guests seemed a bit confused by the staff's assistance. It would be wonderful if the service or cuisine could compensate for the age of the accommodation.

    Before the pandemic, I stayed here several times and was looking forward to this visit based on those experiences. Unfortunately, no one in our group had a positive impression, which left me feeling disappointed. The service provided by the younger staff was extremely poor. Please reconsider the meals and service to match the cost and compensate for the aging facilities.

    Delicious Cuisine and Relaxing Accommodation

    I have stayed at this accommodation several times and this time I stayed in a newly renovated room with an open-air bath. The dishes made with seasonal local ingredients were all delicious and visually enjoyable. The facility had a calm atmosphere, the staff were kind, and I was able to relax. Breakfast also utilized local ingredients, bringing joy to both body and mind. I would love to visit again!

    We stayed for two nights as a couple. This was our second visit, following a one-night stay during the peak of summer in August. My wife has a disability and cannot move around as freely, but thanks to the warm support of the staff, we were able to have a comfortable stay. They accommodated us by adjusting meal times and seating arrangements, which was incredibly helpful. The Room was clean and user-friendly, and most importantly, it had no steps, which made it very safe and reassuring for someone with unsteady footing. The hallway decor and the lounge at the entrance were impressive, but what stood out the most was the exceptional service provided by the staff, which made our stay truly satisfying. We hope to visit again during another season, such as autumn for the foliage or spring for the cherry blossoms. Thank you so much to everyone for your kindness.

    Family-friendly accommodation

    I stayed with my one-year-old daughter. The accommodation provided a spacious private room for both dinner and breakfast, and prepared child-friendly meals such as rice and udon, which was very helpful. The private dining room was large enough for my daughter to play and move around freely. They also provided amenities and snacks for children. During dinner, the staff showed great care towards my daughter, making her time enjoyable. The meals featured many local ingredients and were delicious. Being located on a hilltop, the view of the Seto Inland Sea from our room was stunning. I would love to stay here again if I visit Takamatsu in the future.

    The entire Hotel has an old design.

    The guest room felt old and dim, which was disappointing compared to the photos. The bath is located on the 10th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 9th floor, so you need to take the stairs. On a hot summer day, it can be quite sweaty—but at least you can enjoy a refreshing bath afterward! The food was delicious, and breakfast was plentiful with more than enough to satisfy.
