    I visited Toda again...

    I visited Toda again after a long time, and the sea was beautiful. The hospitality and service at Koyoi were excellent, and it became a wonderful family memory.

    Three-Generation Family Trip

    I chose this Accommodation because I wanted to visit Mihama Beach and it was conveniently located, but I was amazed by the incredible hospitality. The proprietress was like sunshine, and all the other staff were so pleasant—truly a wonderful Accommodation. The young woman who served dinner even picked up on our small conversation and celebrated my husband’s birthday, which we hadn’t mentioned. The Room cushions were unbelievably thick and fluffy—so much so that I almost hesitated to sit on them. Since I was traveling with my elderly father, they were very considerate of him, and he was in great spirits as well. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a warm Accommodation. Thank you very much!

    Summer Onsen Accommodation

    Our third visit. We stayed as a family to celebrate our eldest son’s birthday. We like this Accommodation, but this time the dinner service style had changed—from bringing each course one by one to presenting everything at once. It may be more efficient for the staff, and the presentation wasn’t bad, but the grilled fish was quite cold, which was a bit disappointing. The grilled abalone was delicious as always. For breakfast, we would have liked a bit more volume, especially for the men. Since we informed them in advance that it was his birthday, we appreciated the gift of two drip coffees; however, adding a small extra dessert might have made it feel a little more special for him and for those celebrating with him.

    A First Night Tonight

    My grandchild is a picky eater, so we always struggle when dining out, but you accommodated us individually. My grandchild was very happy, and we are truly grateful. The hospitality and service were excellent, the Room was spacious, and the food was delicious, so we had a very comfortable stay. I would have liked a bit more sashimi at dinner, but the deep-sea fish miso soup at breakfast was truly delicious. It was a little disappointing that the Facility is starting to feel a bit old and that we couldn’t see the outside view from the bath, but overall we were satisfied.

    My No. 1 Favorite Accommodation

    I’m always impressed by the consistently wonderful hospitality, no matter when I visit. The food is delicious, and the Room is spacious and comfortable. Whenever I come here, chatting with the proprietress is a one-of-a-kind pleasure. With such thoughtful service that always delights me, this is an Accommodation I want to stay at again and again. Next time, once winter Reservations open, I will definitely be back—thank you in advance.

    Everything can be summed up in one word: wonderful!

    I always enjoy visiting Onsen towns with a friend, and this time we stayed here together again. I had never been to Toda before, so I searched online and chose this Hotel based on the atmosphere in the photos. Since it was a weekday, the rates were reasonable, so we made a Reservation with breakfast and dinner included. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived!! The building was very clean, and the view from the lobby was wonderful—we truly enjoyed our stay! Above all, the food was delicious, with an outstanding variety of dishes!! The staff were attentive in a subtle way, making our time there feel truly special—we were completely satisfied! And the proprietress’s personality can only be described as wonderful! I meet many people through my work, but her warm smile and hospitality were the best I’ve ever experienced!! Two days of pure indulgence—we couldn’t be happier! Thank you for such a lovely time. We plan to make another Reservation before summer vacation begins.

    Beautiful sunsets.

    The sunset when we arrived was truly beautiful. Thank you for accommodating our large group meal and preparing a private Room that you don’t usually offer for our trip with my siblings’ families, whom we hadn’t seen in years and who live far away. Having all three families in neighboring Rooms allowed us to spend a wonderful time together, and it became a very special memory.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    I stayed here on a very rare snowy day in Nishi-Izu. I caught a glimpse of the sunset in the evening, and in the morning I enjoyed views of the blue sea. The meals, Onsen, Room, service—everything was excellent. I thought I took it easy, but the enjoyable time flew by. I’d love to stay again.

    New Year Party Stay

    This is my third stay, including before the rebranding. The view is still amazing, and the lounge is very relaxing. With a limited number of rooms, the onsen never gets crowded, allowing for a peaceful soak. I truly appreciate all the arrangements made prior to my stay this time! The two-room suite is very spacious and highly recommended.

    We made wonderful memories.

    I spent New Year's Eve at this Ryokan with my mother. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had a very pleasant stay. There were heartwarming handmade events such as serving New Year's soba, a stamp rally inside the facility, a countdown, a sunrise visit with the hostess on New Year's Day, and serving ozoni soup, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The meals were incredibly delicious and served in generous portions that even my mother was fully satisfied. We had a wonderful New Year experience. Next time, I plan to come back to enjoy snow crab!

    I wanted to have a meal.

    I made a last-minute reservation for the No Meals Included Plan. A Christmas event was being held, creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The guest room had a private bath, allowing me to relax in the morning while listening to birds chirping. There are no restaurants nearby, and most shops close by 5 PM. Since venturing out on mountain roads is quite challenging, it would have been nice if meals were offered in the lovely lounge or elsewhere on-site. Unfortunately, it was rainy during my visit, but the beach is within walking distance. The surroundings are pitch dark at night, so I imagine that on clear days you could enjoy beautiful sunsets, views of Mt. Fuji, and stunning starry skies as well! I’d love to visit again in summer!

    The sunset is breathtaking.

    Stayed here after trekking Mount Daruma. The accommodation is standard, but the weather was great, and the sunset view from the room was spectacular.

    We had a wonderful time.

    An Accommodation Overflowing with Hospitality

    This was our first visit as a family of five. The hostess and staff were all very welcoming, making our stay comfortable. The lobby offered drink service, allowing us to relax while enjoying the ocean view. We chose this ryokan because it had spacious rooms that could comfortably accommodate five people, which is rare to find. The view from the room was stunning, the meals were delicious, and we felt thoughtful touches throughout the accommodation that made it heartwarming. Although accommodation prices have been rising everywhere recently, the rates here were reasonable and left us very satisfied. Unfortunately, due to bad weather this time, we couldn’t see the sunset; however, we would love to come back for another visit! Thank you for your hospitality!

    The host is satisfied.

    Used for a belated celebration of my husband's birthday. Although it was before 3 PM, the Hotel kindly provided Shuttle Service to a lunch spot in Toda when we called. A Halloween stamp rally was held inside, and we enjoyed drawing from the capsule toy lottery. The standard dinner and an additional order of simmered golden-eye snapper were delightful. The sake tasting set offered easy-to-drink options that paired perfectly with the meal. For dessert, they surprised us with a birthday treat, and including breakfast, we were very satisfied with the variety, quantity, and quality of the meals. Enjoying a drink on the terrace and in-room open-air bath created wonderful memories. The only downside was that the outdoor bath in the public bath area had walls covered entirely by bamboo screens or one-way mirrors, preventing any view of outside scenery—perhaps to ensure privacy from neighboring Hotels? The previous day was cloudy so we couldn't see either Mt. Fuji or sunset as hoped; however, staff suggested: "You can see it today! We'll take you early to Toda's bus stop so you can stop at a scenic spot for photos of Mt. Fuji." My husband was thrilled by this thoughtful suggestion! Thank you to all staff members for your excellent hospitality!

    Despite the last-min...

    Despite the last-minute reservation, I had a fulfilling one-night stay. The guidance at the parking lot and the initial explanation were very polite, leaving a great impression. Next time, I would love to stay with dinner included! Thank you for the wonderful accommodation.

    Accommodation with Stunning Views

    This was our first time using this accommodation for a trip to celebrate my son's birthday. Upon arrival, staff were waiting at the parking lot and provided excellent service, making check-in very pleasant. We were touched by the thoughtful gesture of acknowledging my son's birthday at reception and with dessert on the first day. The building feels slightly old, but it is well-maintained, with even the plants in the hallway carefully cleaned and cared for. The view from our room was breathtaking; we could sit there forever just enjoying it. However, there was a slight odor in the toilet of our room, possibly due to its age, but closing the door to both the toilet and sink area resolved this issue. The meals were impressively generous in portion size and featured mostly local ingredients, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The onsen experience was relaxing; while it would have been perfect if we could see the ocean from the open-air bath, having it almost entirely to ourselves made up for that. The water temperature was just right as well. However, I found their cleansing product a bit watery and difficult to use—those accustomed to oil or cream-based products might want to bring their own. Additionally, yoga mats were available for rent; spending early mornings on a sandy beach with a yoga mat provided refreshing moments of relaxation. All staff members left an excellent impression—especially foreign staff who spoke Japanese fluently! My husband particularly appreciated when one employee went out of their way to research where he could purchase a specific sake he liked during dinner and even handed him a note with details—a truly touching gesture. Overall dining experiences were delightful; every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness that seemed directly inspired by what must be an exceptional host's personality behind this accommodation.     I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay.

    Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. The abalone and sashimi were delicious. The lobby, with drinks and ice always available, offered an amazing view. The bath was a bit small, and it was unfortunate that there was no sauna. The Room was quiet with no external noise, allowing for a good night's sleep. Thank you very much!

    A trip for three: You, your mother, and your mother-in-law

    I stayed with my mother and my husband's mother, making it a group of three. On the first day, the staff kindly helped carry our luggage from the car, which was very thoughtful. The younger staff members were also attentive, even though it was self-service; they asked what we wanted to drink and brought it over for us. This level of care was especially helpful as I was traveling with two elderly mothers. The welcome wine in the lounge before dinner was delicious, and dinner itself had generous portions that left us full but satisfied as everything tasted great. The Onsen water felt a bit hot for my elderly mothers but manageable for me. However, I did notice that having handrails near the changing area would be helpful since it felt slightly slippery at times. Breakfast the next morning was also very tasty, leaving us quite satisfied overall with our stay. However, during checkout when we settled our bill and prepared to leave with lots of luggage while managing two elderly mothers on my own, no assistance or farewell gesture from staff occurred—something I had always experienced at other Ryokans before this visit. While one staff member passed by as I struggled to load everything into the car alone, they didn’t offer any help or acknowledgment. This lack of send-off left a slightly disappointing impression at an otherwise pleasant stay overall!

    Unfortunately.

    The elderly man at the front desk, who seemed experienced, was very curt and cold in his attitude, which was extremely unpleasant. I wondered where the spirit of hospitality had gone. An older woman in casual clothes was also present during check-out, but her farewell lacked warmth and left a disappointing impression. In contrast, the female staff serving meals were all very friendly and consistently provided pleasant service. Additionally, the experienced man with glasses who parked our car during check-in was also friendly. In the women's bath area, there was an overwhelming amount of hair clogging the drains, causing dirty water to accumulate along with soap suds—a truly disturbing sight. After seeing that, I decided not to use the Onsen again. The location being within walking distance to the sea was great; however, overall it was disappointing.

    The view from the Ro...

    The view from the Room was fantastic, and our family was overjoyed as soon as we entered. The service at the front desk and lounge was excellent, with many features that delighted the children—it was truly wonderful. The meals were plentiful and delicious, featuring rare local seafood prepared with great care, leaving us completely satisfied. We would definitely love to stay again. There is also a path leading down to the sea, making it perfect for swimming, and the bath afterward was absolutely amazing.

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    Stayed in a spacious room on the 6th floor. The view was great, and I slept soundly while enjoying the blue sky and sea. The open-air bath was also very relaxing. The shrimp from dinner was used as broth for miso soup at breakfast the next day, and it was delicious. The hostess and staff were kind, making my heart feel warm.

    Excellent value for money

    The accommodation offered excellent value for money with a great balance of price and overall quality. Although the private open-air bath in the room was not an onsen, and there were some communication issues with certain foreign staff, the high quality of meals at this price made for a very satisfying stay. The complimentary drinks provided in the room's refrigerator were a pleasant surprise, as it contained a decent number despite being described as modest. I would love to stay here again.

    Mount Fuji and the sunset offer a breathtaking view.

    Stayed for 2 nights in a room with a semi-open-air bath. The view of Mount Fuji and the sunset on the first and second days was breathtaking. The heartfelt service was impressive. However, the private open-air bath in the room had lukewarm water trickling out, so I gave up using it. The food was served one after another, but by the time I ate it, it had cooled down.

    I want to visit again.

    I stayed at the accommodation with my elderly parents. Before our stay, we had several phone conversations, and they kindly accommodated all our requests. On the day of our stay, the weather was great, and the view from the room was spectacular. The wine we enjoyed in the lounge was also delicious. The meals were delicately seasoned, and they catered to all of our specific requests. Everything was absolutely delicious, which made my parents very happy. Thank you to the head chef for such wonderful dishes! The hospitality from all staff members, especially from the hostess, was exceptional for our family. Although the building is old, it was kept impeccably clean. We will never forget how they waved us off until we were out of sight when we left. We would love to visit again!
