I stayed here during Golden Week!There were a lot of people around Nara Park, but the area around the Hotel felt like a quiet residential neighborhood, so I was able to relax in peace.I was a little disappointed that I had to close the curtain for privacy when using the open-air bath in the Room (though I understand it couldn’t be helped).The Room was spacious and very clean. Personally, I also loved how cute the coffee and tea cups were—it made me happy.I booked a plan with two meals included, and both were beautifully presented, with great taste and satisfying portions!I stopped by before check-in to leave my luggage, and they gave me a map of the area and explained recommended places in detail, including how long it would take from the Hotel. At check-in as well, the staff member who showed me to my Room told me about some famous shops—everyone’s thoughtfulness truly meant a lot to me.Thank you very much!!

The “2026 Renovation: Special Room with a World Heritage View” we stayed in was brand new, just reopened after the renovation.At the time of our Reservation, there were still only a few photos available, so I was honestly quite anxious. But once we arrived, all of those worries disappeared.The Room is full of thoughtful touches and hidden surprises, making it genuinely fun—like exploring and wondering what you’ll find next. The sauna, cold plunge bath, and open-air bath alone are more than appealing, but beyond that you can feel the owner’s attention to detail and playful creativity throughout. The stay itself felt like an experience.The meals were excellent as well. What stood out most was the live flute performance during dinner. The musician played while moving from table to table, creating a special atmosphere that’s hard to find at large hotels.Another highlight is the warmth that comes with a privately run Accommodation. Everyone on staff was polite and kind, offering heartfelt hospitality rather than the standardized service typical of big Resort Hotels.That said, to be completely honest, the price is quite high. This Special Room is in a completely different price range compared with other rooms here, so naturally expectations for an exceptional level of exclusivity are higher.I was very satisfied with the Room, dining, and overall experience value; however, compared with other Accommodations in this price range, I found the welcome on arrival and send-off at departure slightly underwhelming. At luxury Ryokan and high-end hotels alike, first and last impressions are an important part of the service. If this area were strengthened further, overall satisfaction would improve significantly.Even so, this Room has a unique charm you won’t find elsewhere. It’s expensive, but it truly felt like a special stay worth experiencing at least once. Expanding the photos and videos would help more guests understand just how wonderful it is.
