    Extremely old-fashioned

    Disappointing overall. While an older structure can be charming if clean, this was not the case here. It felt like cost-cutting and profit were prioritized. After providing my name, I waited about 30 minutes to check in, and even though I arrived early, I wasn’t shown to my room until 15 minutes past the check-in time. The welcome coffee seemed like a distraction. I stayed in Room 205 on the second floor that day. Hoping to relax in the Onsen open-air bath on the balcony, I was disappointed to find it filled with fallen leaves and mud in the corners. The gap between what was shown online and reality was shocking—there were even leaves inside the tub that had to be removed before bathing. The balcony roof only covered half of the tub area, which would likely cause issues during bad weather. While the water temperature of the Onsen was fine, everything else left much to be desired. The room’s furnishings were worn out; some had plywood attached as makeshift repairs or stains on tables. The Wi-Fi didn’t work despite entering the password provided for my room; when reported to reception, they simply said it hasn’t been working well lately and suggested using areas where it might connect within their facility. The lack of cleanliness throughout added further disappointment. Dinner wasn’t appealing either—it lacked any standout qualities worth mentioning. In conclusion, while this is just my personal opinion, given what I paid for this stay, it did not feel worth it at all—just disappointing from start to finish.

    Stays for couples

    The Stays is a bit old, but the room was clean and there were no particular problems. However, I was told in advance that the wifi might be difficult to connect to, and even with the wifi off, the internet was hard to connect to. I would like the internet connectivity issue to be improved. Also, it was mentioned that table tennis was available, so I called the front desk and was told it could only be used at 9 PM, 10 PM, and 11 PM. I was thinking of killing time before dinner, but it was disappointing that I couldn't use it. I hope it will be available at an earlier time. The public bath is not very large, so it was inconvenient when there were more than five people as there was no washing area. The food was delicious, so that was a good point.

    The meals were particularly delicious. The room with an open-air bath is recommended as you can use it anytime.
