    It was great!

    Stayed for 2 nights. The Room was spacious and relaxing. The meal portions were just right, not too much or too little, and the taste was excellent—completely satisfying. Worth the price. I would love to visit again.

    Enjoy dining at a restaurant with a great view.

    Although it was a light rainy day, we enjoyed a relaxing time with a view of the Amakusa Islands from the restaurant.

    It's a wonderful place.

    I have used this place multiple times, and I am always very satisfied with the Onsen and meals. The price, including meals, is surprisingly affordable. I will visit again!

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    The room feels a bit dated, but it is thoroughly cleaned, and the facility is fully functional with all necessary amenities provided. The hospitality is excellent, and the Italian course meals are both satisfying and delicious. The onsen allows for temperature adjustment, which was a great feature. The scenery is also stunning. This has become an accommodation I would love to visit again.

    A charming Hotel floating on the sea of Amakusa

    Enjoy exclusive views of the Amakusa Sea from the terrace. The terrace features an open-air Onsen bath from Shimabara, offering great comfort. The welcome drink, strawberry tea, was delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that there were no welcome sweets. During a previous stay at a Ryokan in Kagoshima, I enjoyed their welcome sweets so much that I asked for the shop's details and bought many as souvenirs. Providing local sweets could potentially help promote local businesses. It would be wonderful if you could consider offering some delightful treats! Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, featuring ingredients from Amakusa and tasting absolutely delicious. The carpaccio made with fresh Amakusa fish was particularly outstanding. The room's bed was very comfortable, and the layout connecting the washroom to the shower room and open-air bath was well-designed. Staying at this Hotel felt like floating on the Amakusa Sea—truly relaxing! One minor issue to mention: there seemed to be an unpleasant damp smell in the shower room that stood out quite noticeably. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay overall—thank you for your hospitality!

    How to Enjoy a Cruise Trip

    Very nice staff. I felt that they were trying their best to accommodate the guests. It gives a warm feeling. The staff mentioned that for dinner, it would be appreciated if guests could wear a jacket with their shoes. I was happy about this. It felt like a restaurant in a first-class hotel or an informal time on a cruise. A proper special time. When traveling, it's nice to dress up a bit and enjoy a meal... The dining area also has the atmosphere of the bow of a cruise ship. The cuisine is stylish too. And then... a couple appeared in slippers, just like after a bath, wearing casual clothes. They were enjoying the finest cuisine. It was quite surprising. The open-air bath in the room has a great view and is lovely, but it's not a flowing hot spring, and adjusting the temperature is quite troublesome. It cools down quickly, which was confusing. Overall, it's a wonderful hotel.

    Panorama View Villa

    We were provided with a golf cart, which we greatly enjoyed using for trips to and from the restaurant. The view from the villa was amazing, and despite the colder weather than expected, we enjoyed countless visits to the open-air bath (laughs). Besides the open-air bath, it's convenient that the indoor bath also offers Onsen. After filling the bathtub with Onsen at the push of a button, being able to adjust the temperature yourself can be a good option in some cases (since you can adjust the temperature to your liking). The Italian dinner was incredibly delicious. Also, the breakfast was refreshing and nice as it was Western-style amidst a series of Japanese meals. The service was attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed a pleasant stay. With two bedrooms, it is also recommended for families.

    Wonderful

    The service is polite, and above all, the view from the Room is wonderful. The sunset seen from the bath was impressive. However, the meals were as expected for the price, and there wasn't much surprise. Overall, it was a wonderful Hotel.

    The view from the hilltop is breathtaking, and the quality of the hot spring water is excellent, but the room design leaves something to be desired.

    As a result, it was a pleasant stay with a spectacular view, but not perfect. First, the entrance sign of the property is hard to find from the Kumamoto direction. It feels like climbing up before the toll road intersection. Villa B, which offers a stunning view of the islands floating in the sea, has two bedrooms and four beds, but the washroom and bath are inconvenient for more than three people. There is only one set of shower and washbasin, and the towel and bathrobe racks seem to be intended for only two people. Having a closet or simple clothes hanger and towel rack in each room would improve the impression. The bathroom is located in the center of the room, lacking privacy. This hotel does not have separate large baths for men and women, so it is not recommended for those who do not want to show each other in the bath. You can enjoy high-temperature hot spring water in the in-room bath, and the quality of the spring itself was excellent. Perhaps due to the effects of global warming, despite being late October, a companion seemed to have been bitten by insects on the terrace. It is advisable to be prepared and take measures regarding clothing. Also, since the restaurant does not allow room wear, it may not have the relaxed feel of an onsen ryokan. The ingredients were good, and the meat, in particular, was of high quality. The staff were all kind. There were no inbound guests, and the staff seemed to be mostly Japanese, making for a calm stay in that respect. There is also a scenic spot on the premises that the current Emperor and Empress visited during the Showa era, which might be a delightful point for those who like the imperial family.

    The moment you enter the room, you will feel the uplifting resort atmosphere.

    We stayed at the Island View Villa as a couple. The room and terrace were spacious, making it a room where you could even have a small party. The view from the window was full of resort vibes, making it a satisfying stay. It was a bit of a hassle to move up by golf cart for meals, but that made the room feel extremely private. This is a property where you can fully enjoy the quintessential Amakusa scenery, so I highly recommend it.
