    The Panorama View Villa is the best.

    We stayed in the Panorama View Villa, and it was wonderful—the large open windows, the spacious terrace, and above all, the open-air bath with its incredible sense of openness. The next day it rained, but my husband still enjoyed soaking in the open-air bath despite the rain. It would have been even better if there had been some kind of sunshade so we could enjoy it comfortably on hot days or in rainy weather as well. The meals were also very delicious, but I noticed that some staff seemed like part-time workers and occasionally gave incorrect explanations about the dishes. We did receive the sparkling wine included with the Diners Diamond benefits, but it was a bit disappointing that there was no sweets gift.

    The Finest Cuisine and Hospitality

    The Room and Facility were exactly as shown in the photos, and the full-course Italian meal was delicate, outstanding in both taste and presentation. The woman who served us on the floor was exceptionally attentive and responsive, providing truly excellent hospitality. My mother, who traveled with me, also praised it highly and said she would love to come again.

    Highly satisfied.

    Thank you for taking care of our family of four during our stay. We had wanted to stay here for a long time, and the Panorama View Villa was a dream come true, so we were truly satisfied to be able to stay. During our stay, there were no other guests with children, so we were able to fully enjoy the pool and spend an elegant time as a family. Although it is a luxury Hotel, there were many young staff members (including trainees), and everyone was polite and kind. We felt they were wonderful. Of course, all of the food was delicious! The chef also greeted us with a smile at the entrance to the restaurant, and the timing of each dish was perfect. We also enjoyed soaking in the Onsen while gazing at the starry sky, and relaxing in our Room while taking in the scenery of Amakusa. The sunset and changing colors of the sky were so beautiful!! I thought it must be amazing to be able to work in such a place. A couple of things we noticed: in the morning, it took quite a while for hot water to come out in the bath (which may be unavoidable). Also, I believe different cutlery was prepared for our elementary school child and our 4-year-old; however, since we sat at seats different from where it had been set up, both children ended up using cutlery that didn’t suit their ages until partway through. I would have appreciated being told with just one quick word—but overall we were extremely satisfied! Thank you as well for your courteous support by email and phone. It was our first time visiting Amakusa, but choosing this Accommodation was absolutely the right decision. We are also interested in your affiliated Accommodations, so we would love to stay again as a family. Thank you very much for these wonderful memories. As hot days continue, please take good care of yourselves.

    Relaxing

    It was my first time visiting Amakusa, and I was able to stay at a wonderful Hotel. Both the meals and the Room were excellent. The Room has an Onsen you can use anytime, so you can truly relax. They also offer valet parking and cart rides to and from your Room, which was very helpful since I was traveling with my elderly parents. This is a Hotel that makes you wish you could have stayed longer when it’s time to leave. I’d love to visit again.

    Rainy Season Accommodation

    This was my first stay at Tenku no Fune. The location was outstanding, and although it rained, I was able to relax and enjoy the views. Since the meals are Italian, I had passed on it before, but the scenery is truly wonderful. The cart was faster than those at a golf course, so getting around was smooth. All of the staff provided excellent service; there were many younger team members, but they were very professional. I also stayed at Amanojaku, which is part of the same group, and each has its own strengths. For a more private feel, I preferred Tenku no Fune. I spent a relaxing holiday doing nothing—just watching videos in my Room. My companion preferred the Italian cuisine as expected and really enjoyed it. The food tasted quite good overall, but since I’m not fond of fresh tomatoes, I don’t think I fully enjoyed all that Italian cuisine has to offer. Overall, it’s a great Accommodation, and if staying in a villa again, I’d like to return. Thank you for taking care of us.

    I would definitely like to stay here again.

    This was my first stay. I was satisfied with the Facility, the views, the food, and the service in every respect. Regarding adjusting the bathwater temperature in our Room, we were given a thorough explanation of how it works at the beginning, so there were no issues. I had read a Review saying that meals were served late, but for us they were provided at just the right pace. Next time, I would like to stay in a different season. It became a wonderful memory, and I sincerely appreciate all the efforts of everyone at the Accommodation.

    Wonderful Open-Air Bath

    The in-room open-air bath was unbelievably wonderful—truly one of a kind. We stayed in the room farthest back among the detached villas. From Kansai, we took the Shinkansen to Kumamoto, then rode the “A-Train” to Misumi, rented a car, and headed to Amakusa Tenku no Fune. Upon arrival we were guided smoothly; check-in was at a table overlooking the pool. A staff member then took us by electric cart to our detached Room while explaining the Facility. Spacious. And such a unique layout—terraced? From the bedroom you step down one level to the living area and deck, so you can enjoy the view right from bed. Step out onto the deck and below is a beautiful open-air bath that builds your anticipation. Both the indoor bath and open-air bath are said to be free-flowing hot spring water direct from the source. However, there was no water drawn when we arrived; it felt like you fill it yourself and adjust the temperature yourself as well. Since we visited in winter, that was a bit tough—and I wished there had been underfloor heating. The floor was cold... We had booked massages and spa treatments, and every therapist was hands-down the best we’ve ever had—outstanding skills. If you stay here while these therapists are available, booking a spa treatment is a must. Dinner was Italian: a course using local ingredients along with premium items. It was delicious. Next time I’d like to stay at their sister Accommodation Ten no Jaku—but if I can book an end-of-peninsula Room, then it’s Tenku no Fune again (laugh). The view from our Room made this an exceptional Accommodation unlike anywhere else—we’ve never experienced anything quite like it.

    A Well-Deserved Retirement Trip for My Husband

    We traveled all around Kyushu by rental car (though we couldn’t take our time in some prefectures), and the best place we stayed was this Hotel in Amakusa. It’s true that some parts of the Facility show a bit of age—there were creaky floorboards, and there were spots in the outdoor bath where mold couldn’t be fully removed. However, the staff’s hospitality and the restaurant meals were so outstanding that all those negatives simply disappeared. The view of the islands from the balcony was also incredibly soothing. This time we had to move on quickly, so we stayed only one night, but I think a Multiple Night Stay is best. Next time, I’d love to book a Multiple Night Stay and relax at a slower pace. Thank you for helping us create such wonderful memories. I would definitely like to visit again.

    A place you’ll want to visit again.

    This was our seventh stay at the Accommodation. As it was a special anniversary, we requested a message plate, and they kindly accommodated our request. Every time, we are extremely satisfied with the staff’s attentive service and the delicious meals. The open-air bath was very relaxing, and the Room was clean and well maintained, so we were able to enjoy another wonderful stay. Thank you very much. We look forward to staying again in the future.

    Repeat guest since 2017, now in their 8th year

    The Western-style cuisine is exceptional, and I look forward to visiting once a year. The special dinner comes with an additional charge, but the seafood from Amakusa always meets expectations. While the food is excellent and satisfying, the bathwater temperature is at a minimum level. The view is outstanding, but since it’s not a free-flowing Onsen system and requires self-preparation, after checking in and using it post-dinner, the lower half becomes lukewarm and needs to be refilled manually. Morning baths are completely cold and unusable. As I’ve mentioned in previous comments, this place is not recommended for those expecting an authentic Onsen experience.

    It was an amazing trip.

    We stayed for 1 night, and everything was great. The staff were really friendly. We booked a villa with stunning views, featuring 1 outdoor onsen bath and 1 indoor onsen. We enjoyed it very much. The only thing that could be improved is the meal.

    Truly breathtaking.

    I stayed at the villa. This hotel is simply amazing. The highlight was the Italian dinner. Usually, due to my age, I find it difficult to finish a full course meal, but I managed to eat everything this time. The quality is on par with top-tier Italian restaurants in Tokyo and Osaka. Considering that this meal is included with the accommodation, it felt like excellent value for money. Thank you very much!

    The view is amazing!

    We stayed as a group of three female friends. The room and balcony were spacious and clean, with comfortable sofas where we could relax while enjoying the stunning view, allowing us to spend a luxurious time. The indoor bath was large, providing a relaxing soak that warmed our bodies before moving to the open-air bath for an even more delightful experience. Meals were served in a beautifully designed restaurant, featuring dishes made with fresh ingredients that we thoroughly enjoyed. When we requested cart transportation, the staff responded promptly, which was very helpful.

    Wonderful Trip

    This time, I stayed at the Panorama View Villa. Last year, I discovered the group "Ama no Jaku" on YouTube and decided to stay here. I was amazed by the location and high grade of the Hotel (I fell in love with Amakusa's scenery). After returning home, I found "Tenku no Fune" on YouTube and made a Reservation. The ship-shaped front desk and restaurant are stunning architectural masterpieces that perfectly match the seaside of Amakusa. The view from the front desk is breathtaking, but when you go to your Room, there’s a deck where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the blue sea and nearby islands. The Room also has an open-air bath which was incredibly satisfying. Oh, and let’s not forget about the meals—they were all delicious with refined ingredients prepared by skilled chefs. This Accommodation is definitely one that makes you want to come back again!

    The private open-air bath in the guest room had insufficient water flow, which was disappointing.

    I was looking forward to the open-air bath based on the reviews, but the water flow was very weak from evening until around 10 PM, taking over an hour to fill up enough for bathing. Since there is no public bath and only private baths in the guest rooms, it was disappointing not being able to bathe when I wanted. Considering the affordable price, I checked out understandingly.

    A serene stay with stunning views to soothe your body and mind.

    This stay was once again truly wonderful. Thank you so much. This time, I stayed in a villa, and as soon as I entered the room, I was greeted by a stunning view and a stylish villa with Balinese taste. I enjoyed the sense of openness while relaxing in the Onsen multiple times. For meals, we traveled by cart, which reminded me of my beloved Amanjiwo in Bali and made it even more enjoyable. The meals were served at a restaurant with breathtaking views and featured exquisite dishes that showcased attention to detail and were visually stunning as well. If only check-out could be an hour later... It was hard to leave, and we were already discussing when we could return during our stay. Lastly, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive; I am truly grateful for their hospitality. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

    It was an amazing experience.

    We stayed one night in the Sunset View Junior Suite as a family of four. The food, room, view, and service were all excellent. The meals were particularly impressive, with both quality and quantity exceeding expectations—our growing sons were very satisfied. My wife has some food preferences, but the staff accommodated her needs perfectly after we informed them in advance. Overall, we felt it was well worth the price. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day wasn't great, so we couldn't enjoy a beautiful sunset this time—but we'd love to visit again during a better season!

    Warm and welcoming hospitality from our staff

    The hospitality of the staff was truly impressive. When I felt the meal portions were slightly too much (as I left a little on my plate), they kindly asked, "Shall we serve a smaller portion for the next dish?" This thoughtful and personalized service stood out. It was evident that great care is taken in selecting and training the staff. One minor downside was that some of the furniture in the Room, such as the table, felt a bit outdated. While I appreciated the Asian-inspired interior design, I thought adding some greenery could enhance its charm even further. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying stay.

    Enjoy meals and open...

    Enjoy meals and open-air baths with a view of Amakusa Matsushima. The Room may feel slightly dated, but it is spacious enough. The Italian dinner offers more volume than it appears. For an additional charge, the red sea urchin from Amakusa was also delicious.

    Great value for money.

    The location, room setup, and cuisine were all flawless. If I had to mention one thing, the room was on the first floor, so the footsteps and drainage sounds from the second floor were quite noticeable due to the structure, which was slightly distracting. Other than that, the staff's service was excellent, and considering everything offered at this price point, it was an incredible value and highly satisfying. The food also showed great attention to detail and was absolutely delicious.

    It was a relaxing space.

    Although the hotel seemed fully booked on the day, the room was so quiet that it felt as if no one else was around, providing a great sense of openness. Dinner was a luxurious course meal enjoyed leisurely while watching the transition from dusk to night. Breakfast offered a stunning panoramic view of Matsushima and carefully prepared dishes served in order, making for an incredibly relaxing experience. The sense of openness in the private bath attached to the room is unforgettable. I would love to stay here again.

    Exceptional hospitality beyond the Facility and amenities!

    The staff's attentiveness and hospitality are simply outstanding. Their demeanor, smiles, and courtesy are impeccable. I will undoubtedly become a repeat guest. Thank you for allowing me to spend such a wonderful time. Of course, the scenery, meals, and Onsen were all highly satisfying. A delightful surprise was witnessing the sunset during the rainy season—a truly moving experience.

    Amazing Italian Cuisine in Amakusa

    Although it was the rainy season with many cloudy days, we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Amakusa. The room was thoroughly cleaned, but shortly after entering, we encountered an insect. The provided insecticide did not work effectively, which caused some distress—apologies for any inconvenience caused. There is a gap under the entrance door that could be improved. The basic plan on the first night was delicious enough, but I’m glad we chose the special plan for the second night. The seafood from Amakusa was wonderfully prepared and truly enjoyable. The shuttle service and hospitality were attentive and detailed. Amenities were well-equipped; however, having one more suitcase stand and two additional hangers would have been ideal.

    Everything is perfect!

    Be amazed by the stunning view of the sea, sky, and small islands as soon as you enter the Hotel! The Room comes with an Onsen open-air bath, and the view from the balcony is exceptional. The Room is spacious and relaxing, and the meals were delicious!

    Enjoy the finest Italian cuisine while gazing at the islands of Amakusa Matsushima!

    The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the meals, especially the dinner. The Italian dishes featuring luxurious ingredients such as abalone, prawns, and sea urchin were absolutely delicious and offered great value for money. However, considering the substantial portions of the course meal, a Plan with smaller portions might be more suitable for senior guests. The breakfast was also excellent and provided a perfect start to the day for travelers. The service was outstanding with attentive care. For instance, on our third day during heavy rain warnings, staff kindly brought a cart close to our car in the parking lot to ensure we wouldn’t get wet while moving to our Room and even escorted us there—this was incredibly helpful. The Bridge View Room offered stunning views of Amakusa Matsushima and had just the right amount of space. As for Room amenities, it would be better if more hangers were provided.

    Perfect!

    We stayed in a separate villa as a couple. Opening the door felt like stepping into another world. The picturesque scenery and the emotions it evoked will remain unforgettable memories for a lifetime. It was such a special time that we didn’t even need TV or music. This is definitely a repeat!

    First time in Amakusa!

    The staff's hospitality, the view from the room, the onsen, and the meals were all exceptional! We stayed in a Sunset View Room and were soothed by the beautiful ocean scenery. From the dining area, you can enjoy delicious meals while admiring the stunning ocean view. During sunset, staff members kindly take photos with the sunset as a backdrop! The onsen includes an open-air bath in the room that you can use anytime. The quality of the onsen water is excellent—this is absolutely a hotel you must visit at least once! Thank you very much. I would love to stay here again!
