The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and we had an ocean-view seat, so the view was amazing. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    Enjoy the Hotel!

Once again, I chose Den Haag, which I have stayed at before. The warm smiles and friendly greetings from everyone at the Hotel left a lasting impression. I enjoyed the all-inclusive plan and the meals. The cocktails and wine in particular, served in the lounge, were excellent. My child especially loved the soft-serve ice cream. I also like the location with an ocean view—it’s very quiet and relaxing. It’s a wonderful Hotel that I would love to stay at every time.

    Huis Ten Bosch is great!

I had visited Huis Ten Bosch before on a day trip, but this time I stayed at the Hotel and was able to enjoy two relaxing days, which was very satisfying. The Hotel has high ceilings and a large bathtub, and the staff truly put guests first—it felt like being abroad, and I had a wonderful stay. Excellent!!

    Perfectly ordinary.

It is located farthest from the park entrance. We recommend making good use of the Hotel shuttle bus and the park buses. The bathroom area feels unnecessarily spacious and may be cold in winter, but since the building is old, it feels about as expected. The breakfast venue has a wonderful view and a true resort atmosphere. Since it is at the very back from the park entrance,

    A bit disappointing.

I made the Reservation without knowing the location. Since it was outside Huis Ten Bosch, walking there was inconvenient. The staff were kind. The lounge pass was very useful.

This was the first time I’ve ever had such a delicious buffet.

It takes about 10 minutes from the Hotel parking lot by Shuttle Service bus (after 7:00 p.m., an after-hours shuttle vehicle is used), so there is a bit of inconvenience. The Hotel Facilities feel somewhat historic, and the TV, toilet, and bath felt a little dated. The staff were very warm and kind, yet attentive in a way that makes you feel at ease. When I told them at check-in that we needed to leave by 7:00 a.m. due to our flight schedule, the shuttle vehicle arrangement for the day was properly communicated, which was reassuring. However, some foreign staff members seemed a bit careless with their work, so choose who you consult carefully. What truly stands out is the food. When it comes to all-inclusive buffet dining, we had only known Hotels with decent-at-best flavors—but here we were genuinely impressed by how good everything tasted. Not only were the ingredients excellent, but the overall quality of seasoning and preparation was high; no matter what we ate, it was delicious! My spouse and I ate until we could barely move. My wife even said she wanted to extend our stay if possible just so she could eat this food again.

Perfect for three families traveling together!!

All-inclusive stays are familiar overseas, but this was my first time experiencing one in Japan. The beer right after check-in was exceptional, and we also enjoyed wine at dinner. The highballs seemed especially popular with the others in our group. The ocean view from the Room was perfect, and the calm sea in the morning left a lasting impression. We’re all saying, “Let’s go again!!” Thank you very much!!

    All-inclusive is a great perk!

This was my second stay. What I appreciated most was that it was all-inclusive. Not only breakfast and dinner, but also snacks were available, so everything I needed was taken care of at the Hotel. Each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. Unfortunately, the Facility is clearly outdated. The corners of the sofa were worn out. The worst part was the bathroom area: it was difficult to adjust the shower temperature, and the toilet seat was cold. There was a strange item in the Room—like a nursing bed or a diaper-changing bed—so I contacted the front desk. When I asked for it to be removed since I wouldn’t use it, they changed my Room. The staff said it was a sofa, but since it was made of blue vinyl, it didn’t look like a sofa to me. An all-inclusive stay at this price is extremely appreciated. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy Huis Ten Bosch on a budget. However, I don’t think there will be a third stay for me.

    Now that we are all-inclusive,

I stay at HTB a few times a year, and chose this Hotel because it became all-inclusive from April and offered special benefits. Thank you for upgrading my Room to a harbor-view Room; I was able to spend my time very comfortably. The all-inclusive offering felt somewhat casual—rather than spending a long time relaxing in an atmospheric lounge, it seemed best suited for stopping by to quench your thirst after returning from the park. While the food selection wasn’t extensive, the overall satisfaction was high and felt like excellent value for money. There were no Japanese dishes at breakfast, but the freshly baked croissants were memorable and delicious, just like dinner. The interior feels a bit dated, with some visible areas such as peeling wallpaper not fully repaired. The quality of cleaning (including spots that may not be immediately noticeable) and the service from staff also gave an impression that both facilities and service could be more attentive. However, the building’s solid, classic design is something that’s hard to replicate today—I could really appreciate its old-world charm—and I found it comfortable overall with great cost performance. There were many families with children in the Accommodation, and since it was a weekend it was quite lively. The opera venue in the park is a bit far from Harbor Town, but as it was rose season I enjoyed walking around inside the park as well. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much for taking such good care of me.

The listing said there would be an open lounge where guests could freely enjoy complimentary drinks (including alcohol) and snacks during the stay, but there was no alcohol at all the next morning, which was disappointing. Also, since check-out was at 12:00, I called the front desk from my Room to confirm that if I dropped off my luggage then, it would be delivered to the departure gate by 14:00; however, in reality they said it would take three hours after drop-off, so I ended up having to carry my heavy luggage myself. Aside from those two points, it was a fun and wonderful stay.

    All-inclusive

The all-inclusive package (including alcoholic drinks from 5:00 PM) was very satisfying. For some reason, both the bidet toilet and adjusting the bath temperature were difficult, but compared with overseas hotels this was not an issue. If I had to ask for more (purely as a wish), it would have been perfect if there had been a Japanese meal option at either breakfast or dinner in the all-inclusive plan.

This is feedback from a Multiple Night Stay.

It was an all-inclusive stay. Dinner curry came with rice, but the lack of Japanese breakfast options was tough during a Multiple Night Stay. The number of menu items felt a bit limited, and there didn’t seem to be many hot dishes. We had a corner Room on the park side, and the atmosphere was nice. I thought it would be deep inside the park, but you can walk to the entertainment area. Many Hotel staff were foreigners, and some were not very helpful. Since we stayed multiple nights, we were able to enjoy it fully.

    Old but good

As mentioned in other Reviews, the property feels old overall. The carpet in the walkways was darkened with grime, and the Room light flickered every time we opened or closed a drawer. The biggest issue was that the washlet was an early model and far from comfortable. However, both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and all the staff were very attentive. We also watched the fireworks from the very front row, which was impressive and powerful. It’s located deep inside Huis Ten Bosch, so it can be inconvenient at times, but it’s good value for money. We plan to visit again next year, so we will stay here again. I just wish they would replace at least the washlet.

For my first visit to Huis Ten Bosch, I stayed overnight at this Hotel from Fukuoka. When I entered the Room, I noticed some areas where the wallpaper was peeling, which was a bit concerning. Also, because the air conditioning is centrally controlled throughout the building, it was slightly inconvenient that we couldn’t switch between heating and cooling in each guest room. Breakfast was extremely crowded. After picking up food, we had to carry it to seats farther away by passing through the crowded area near the Hotel entrance, and the flow of traffic was hard to understand and felt like extra hassle. As a result, we couldn’t enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace and left early. The best part of this Hotel was being able to watch fireworks right in front of us.

    Shower is available.

The building is old, but the Room was spacious and the view was great. However, the shower required adjusting the temperature by turning separate hot and cold taps, and it took several minutes to get to a comfortable temperature. On top of that, the hot-water handle was metal and became extremely hot. I couldn’t grip it to turn it off, so I had to use my fingertips while saying “ouch” as I turned it off. The breakfast venue opens from 6:30, but when I went at 7:00 it was full, so we ate in a different venue. There is a call board, so I think it is usually crowded. The food tasted good, but many items felt quite strongly seasoned. It was disappointing that there was only one key card and that there was no lotion among the amenities.

    Such a lovely Room, but...

The exterior was lovely, and the Room was stylish with a European feel. Everything was very clean. We didn’t use the large public bath and used the bath in our Room instead; it was spacious and we could relax and soak comfortably. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and both the Japanese and Western options were very delicious. However… Around 11 p.m., when I got into bed to sleep, I started hearing a “knock, knock, knock…” sound at intervals. Could this have been an issue with the Facility’s equipment? At the same time, I could hear talking voices and severe coughing from the next Room (I think). Once it started bothering me, I couldn’t relax and had trouble falling asleep for a while. What should have been a wonderful stay unfortunately became a disappointing memory because of this.

There are issues with the plumbing.

A prestigious Hotel. The breakfast offered a wide variety, including Nagasaki specialties, and was enjoyable. Amenities were also sufficient. However, the Facility is far too old, especially the plumbing. The toilet seat was cold, and it took time for hot water to come out. It was difficult to adjust the shower temperature, so it was not comfortable to use. I hope this will be improved.

    It was quiet.

The Hotel is old, but it was spacious and had a great view. However, the bottom of the shower curtain was covered in mold and unusable. I felt it might be better not to have a curtain at all in that condition. Breakfast was also delicious. This is unrelated to the Hotel, but Huis Ten Bosch felt quieter than before, with many shops closed and far fewer events. There were also fewer Miffy goods available, which made me concerned.

First Visit to Huis Ten Bosch

Experience the exotic atmosphere of Huis Ten Bosch even at the Hotel. The classic style makes the Room slightly dim, but it offers a calm and relaxing ambiance. I would love to stay here again on my next visit to Huis Ten Bosch. The breakfast featuring many Nagasaki specialties was also delicious.

    Top Floor Suite Room

We stayed here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The Room was a maisonette type, and we relaxed in separate rooms when we wanted some personal time. It was perfect. When we felt like having tea, we enjoyed it in the living room downstairs. Although we live in Nagasaki, we're so happy to have such an enjoyable place nearby. Each Room had its own bath and toilet, which was also great. We already want to visit again soon after returning home!

Fireworks Viewing from the Suite Room

The fireworks were spectacularly visible from the first-floor window of the maisonette, accompanied by music, creating an unforgettable experience. However, the shower and hot water pressure were poor, making bathing uncomfortable in the cold. Breakfast had significant wait times, causing us to miss out on the early park entry benefit despite having it as a perk. This should have been communicated at check-in. The complimentary stroller rental was a very convenient service.

    Great value for money!

Stayed with my wife for one night with breakfast included for ¥14,690, and we were satisfied. Additionally, we received a 1-day pass for the next day. The Room was old but very clean, spacious enough to feel comfortable. Great location and highly recommended. Although it rained during our stay, we’d love to visit again in warmer weather.

    I want to visit again.

The room was clean despite its age. However, the non-smoking room had a slight smell of cigarettes upon entering, so I’ll deduct one point (though this may not be the hotel's fault). I opted to use the in-room unit bath instead of going to the Onsen at Huis Ten Bosch as it felt inconvenient. The provided bath salts were a nice touch. This time, I chose a breakfast-included plan, and the breakfast was very satisfying. While the Japanese dishes were great, the bread selection and tomato-flavored curry were exceptionally delicious.

Will there be any issues with the description?

I heard that staying here would grant me a passport for the next day, so I canceled another hotel and switched to this one. However, it turns out you can't receive it without having the passport for your stay date. Even after re-reading the terms, there was no mention of this, but does this mean that IKYU.com and other travel agencies also recognize this as valid information? I couldn't figure out how to get from the parking lot to the hotel, so I called the front desk and was told to walk. 25 minutes on foot despite having difficulty walking? Feeling suspicious about this response over the phone, I asked park staff again and was informed about a shuttle bus between hotels, which resolved my issue. The ladies who shared the shuttle with me mentioned they were given inadequate directions to Onsen as well and ended up walking a lot unnecessarily. While gaining experience is important for training new employees in any job, policies that seem like leaving them entirely on their own could be perceived as neglecting customer care. This time around, my impression of the Facility overall has slightly changed. Wishing you all success moving forward!

    First-Time Hotel

Close to the center of Huis Ten Bosch, the surroundings are quiet and near the sea, making it pleasant for a stroll! The staff were friendly and provided thorough explanations. The Room was clean and well-maintained, giving a sense of security. The aromatic bath amenities were soothing for a tired body during bathing. Breakfast featured many locally sourced ingredients, all of which were delicious. However, perhaps due to thin walls, I could hear a child crying late at night for an extended period, which made it difficult to sleep soundly for one night. Taking that into consideration though, I still feel like staying at the same Hotel again next time!
